1 καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισσαχαρ Θωλα καὶ Φουα καὶ Ιασουβ καὶ Σεμερων τέσσαρες
Issachar's four sons were Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron.
2 καὶ υἱοὶ Θωλα Οζι καὶ Ραφαια καὶ Ιεριηλ καὶ Ιεμου καὶ Ιεβασαμ καὶ Σαμουηλ ἄρχοντες οἴκων πατριῶν αὐτῶν τῷ Θωλα ἰσχυροὶ δυνάμει κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν ἐν ἡμέραις Δαυιδ εἴκοσι καὶ δύο χιλιάδες καὶ ἑξακόσιοι
The sons of Tola were Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Samuel. They were the heads of their fathers' houses, from the descendants of Tola and they were listed as mighty warriors among their generation. They numbered 22,600 in the days of David.
3 καὶ υἱοὶ Οζι Ιεζρια καὶ υἱοὶ Ιεζρια Μιχαηλ καὶ Οβδια καὶ Ιωηλ καὶ Ιεσια πέντε ἄρχοντες πάντες
Uzzi's son was Izrahiah. His sons were Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Ishijah, all five of them were clan leaders.
4 καὶ ἐπ’ αὐτῶν κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατρικοὺς αὐτῶν ἰσχυροὶ παρατάξασθαι εἰς πόλεμον τριάκοντα καὶ ἓξ χιλιάδες ὅτι ἐπλήθυναν γυναῖκας καὶ υἱούς
Along with them they had thirty-six thousand troops for battle, according to the lists belonging to their ancestors' clans, for they had many wives and sons.
5 καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν εἰς πάσας πατριὰς Ισσαχαρ ἰσχυροὶ δυνάμει ὀγδοήκοντα καὶ ἑπτὰ χιλιάδες ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν τῶν πάντων
Their relatives were fighting men from all the clans of Issachar, and they numbered in all, eighty-seven thousand fighting men, as listed in their genealogy.
6 βενιαμιν Βαλε καὶ Βαχιρ καὶ Ιαδιηλ τρεῖς
Benjamin's three sons were Bela, Beker, and Jediael.
7 καὶ υἱοὶ Βαλε Ασεβων καὶ Οζι καὶ Οζιηλ καὶ Ιεριμωθ καὶ Ουρι πέντε ἄρχοντες οἴκων πατρικῶν ἰσχυροὶ δυνάμει καὶ ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν εἴκοσι καὶ δύο χιλιάδες καὶ τριάκοντα τέσσαρες
Bela's five sons were Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri. They were soldiers and heads of fathers' houses. Their people numbered 22,034 fighting men, according to the lists belonging to their ancestors' clans.
8 καὶ υἱοὶ Βαχιρ Ζαμαριας καὶ Ιωας καὶ Ελιεζερ καὶ Ελιθεναν καὶ Αμαρια καὶ Ιεριμωθ καὶ Αβιου καὶ Αναθωθ καὶ Γεμεεθ πάντες οὗτοι υἱοὶ Βαχιρ
Beker's sons were Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these were his sons.
9 καὶ ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν ἄρχοντες οἴκων πατριῶν αὐτῶν ἰσχυροὶ δυνάμει εἴκοσι χιλιάδες καὶ διακόσιοι
The lists of their clans numbered 20,200 heads of their fathers' houses and fighting men.
10 καὶ υἱοὶ Ιαδιηλ Βαλααν καὶ υἱοὶ Βαλααν Ιαους καὶ Βενιαμιν καὶ Αωθ καὶ Χανανα καὶ Ζαιθαν καὶ Ραμεσσαι καὶ Αχισααρ
The son of Jediael was Bilhan. Bilhan's sons were Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Kenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and Ahishahar.
11 πάντες οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ιαδιηλ ἄρχοντες τῶν πατριῶν ἰσχυροὶ δυνάμει ἑπτακαίδεκα χιλιάδες καὶ διακόσιοι ἐκπορευόμενοι δυνάμει τοῦ πολεμεῖν
All these were sons of Jediael. Listed in their clan lists were 17,200 heads of houses and fighting men fit for military service.
12 καὶ Σαπφιν καὶ Απφιν καὶ υἱοὶ Ραωμ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Αερ
(The Shuppites and the Huppites were sons of Ir, and the Hushites were sons of Aher.)
13 υἱοὶ Νεφθαλι Ιασιηλ καὶ Γωνι καὶ Ισσιηρ καὶ Σαλωμ υἱοὶ Βαλαα
Naphtali's sons were Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and Shillem. These were Bilhah's grandsons.
14 υἱοὶ Μανασση Ασεριηλ ὃν ἔτεκεν ἡ παλλακὴ αὐτοῦ ἡ Σύρα ἔτεκεν τὸν Μαχιρ πατέρα Γαλααδ
Manasseh had a male child named Asriel, whom his Aramean concubine bore. She also gave birth to Makir, Gilead's father.
15 καὶ Μαχιρ ἔλαβεν γυναῖκα τῷ Αμφιν καὶ Μαμφιν καὶ ὄνομα ἀδελφῆς αὐτοῦ Μοωχα καὶ ὄνομα τῷ δευτέρῳ Σαλπααδ καὶ ἐγεννήθησαν τῷ Σαλπααδ θυγατέρες
Makir took a wife from the Huppites and Shuppites. A sister's name was Maakah. Another of Manasseh's descendants was Zelophehad, who had only daughters.
16 καὶ ἔτεκεν Μοωχα γυνὴ Μαχιρ υἱὸν καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Φαρες καὶ ὄνομα ἀδελφοῦ αὐτοῦ Σορος υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ουλαμ
Maakah wife of Makir, bore a son and she called him Peresh. His brother's name was Sheresh, and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.
17 καὶ υἱοὶ Ουλαμ Βαδαν οὗτοι υἱοὶ Γαλααδ υἱοῦ Μαχιρ υἱοῦ Μανασση
Ulam's son was Bedan. These were the descendants of Gilead son of Makir son of Manasseh.
18 καὶ ἀδελφὴ αὐτοῦ ἡ Μαλεχεθ ἔτεκεν τὸν Ισαδεκ καὶ τὸν Αβιεζερ καὶ τὸν Μαελα
Gilead's sister Hammoleketh bore Ishhod, Abiezer, and Mahlah.
19 καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ Σεμιρα Ιααιμ καὶ Συχεμ καὶ Λακεϊ καὶ Ανιαμ
The sons of Shemida were Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam.
20 καὶ υἱοὶ Εφραιμ Σωθαλα καὶ Βαραδ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ Θααθ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ελεαδα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Νομεε υἱὸς αὐτοῦ
The descendants of Ephraim were as follows: Ephraim's son was Shuthelah. Shuthelah's son was Bered. Bered's son was Tahath. Tahath's son was Eleadah. Eleadah's son was Tahath.
21 Ζαβεδ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Σωθελε υἱὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ Εζερ καὶ Ελεαδ καὶ ἀπέκτειναν αὐτοὺς ἄνδρες Γεθ οἱ τεχθέντες ἐν τῇ γῇ ὅτι κατέβησαν λαβεῖν τὰ κτήνη αὐτῶν
Tahath's son was Zabad. Zabad's son was Shuthelah. (Ezer and Elead were killed by men of Gath, natives in the land, when they went to steal their cattle.
22 καὶ ἐπένθησεν Εφραιμ πατὴρ αὐτῶν ἡμέρας πολλάς καὶ ἦλθον ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ τοῦ παρακαλέσαι αὐτόν
Ephraim their father mourned for them many days, and his brothers came to comfort him.
23 καὶ εἰσῆλθεν πρὸς τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἔλαβεν ἐν γαστρὶ καὶ ἔτεκεν υἱόν καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Βαραγα ὅτι ἐν κακοῖς ἐγένετο ἐν οἴκῳ μου
He slept with his wife. She conceived and bore a son. Ephraim called him Beriah, because tragedy had come to his family.)
24 καὶ ἐν ἐκείνοις τοῖς καταλοίποις καὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν Βαιθωρων τὴν κάτω καὶ τὴν ἄνω καὶ υἱοὶ Οζαν Σεηρα
His daughter was Sheerah, who built Lower and Upper Beth Horon and Uzzen Sheerah.
25 καὶ Ραφη υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ Ρασεφ καὶ Θαλε υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ Θαεν υἱὸς αὐτοῦ
His son was Rephah. Rephah's son was Resheph. Resheph's son was Telah. Telah's son was Tahan.
26 τῷ Λααδαν υἱῷ αὐτοῦ Αμιουδ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ελισαμα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ
Tahan's son was Ladan. Ladan's son was Ammihud. Ammihud's son was Elishama.
27 Νουμ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ιησουε υἱὸς αὐτοῦ
Elishama's son was Nun. Nun's son was Joshua.
28 καὶ κατάσχεσις αὐτῶν καὶ κατοικία αὐτῶν Βαιθηλ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῆς κατ’ ἀνατολὰς Νααραν πρὸς δυσμαῖς Γαζερ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῆς καὶ Συχεμ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῆς ἕως Γαιαν καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῆς
Their possessions and residences were Bethel and its surrounding villages. They extended eastward to Naaran and westward to Gezer and its villages, and to Shechem and its villages to Ayyah and its villages.
29 καὶ ἕως ὁρίων υἱῶν Μανασση Βαιθσααν καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῆς Θααναχ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῆς καὶ Βαλαδ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῆς Μαγεδδω καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῆς Δωρ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῆς ἐν ταύταις κατῴκησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ιωσηφ υἱοῦ Ισραηλ
On the border with Manasseh were Beth Shan and its villages, Taanach and its villages, Megiddo and its villages, and Dor and its villages. In these towns the descendants of Joseph son of Israel lived.
30 υἱοὶ Ασηρ Ιεμνα καὶ Ισουα καὶ Ισουι καὶ Βεριγα καὶ Σορε ἀδελφὴ αὐτῶν
Asher's sons were Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, and Beriah. Serah was their sister.
31 καὶ υἱοὶ Βεριγα Χαβερ καὶ Μελχιηλ οὗτος πατὴρ Βερζαιθ
Beriah's sons were Heber and Malkiel, who was the father of Birzaith.
32 καὶ Χαβερ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιαφαλητ καὶ τὸν Σαμηρ καὶ τὸν Χωθαμ καὶ τὴν Σωλα ἀδελφὴν αὐτῶν
Heber's sons were Japhlet, Shomer, and Hotham. Shua was their sister.
33 καὶ υἱοὶ Ιαφαλητ Φεσηχι Βαμαηλ καὶ Ασιθ οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ιαφαλητ
Japhlet's sons were Pasak, Bimhal, and Ashvath. These were Japhlet's children.
34 καὶ υἱοὶ Σεμμηρ Αχιουραογα καὶ Οβα καὶ Αραμ
Shomer, Japhlet's brother, had these sons: Rohgah, Hubbah, and Aram.
35 καὶ Βανηελαμ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ Σωφα καὶ Ιμανα καὶ Σελλης καὶ Αμαλ
Shemer's brother, Helem, had these sons: Zophah, Imna, Shelesh, and Amal.
36 υἱοὶ Σωφα Χουχι Αρναφαρ καὶ Σουαλ καὶ Βαρι καὶ Ιμαρη
Zophah's sons were Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah,
37 Σοβαλ καὶ Ωδ καὶ Σεμμα καὶ Σαλισα καὶ Ιεθραν καὶ Βεηρα
Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, Ithran, and Beera.
38 καὶ υἱοὶ Ιεθερ Ιφινα καὶ Φασφα καὶ Αρα
Jether's sons were Jephunneh, Pispah, and Ara.
39 καὶ υἱοὶ Ωλα Ορεχ Ανιηλ καὶ Ρασια
Ulla's sons were Arah, Hanniel, and Rizia.
40 πάντες οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ασηρ πάντες ἄρχοντες πατριῶν ἐκλεκτοὶ ἰσχυροὶ δυνάμει ἄρχοντες ἡγούμενοι ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν εἰς παράταξιν τοῦ πολεμεῖν ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν ἄνδρες εἴκοσι ἓξ χιλιάδες
All these were descendants of Asher. They were ancestors of the clans, heads of fathers' houses, distinguished men, fighting men, and chief among the leaders. There were twenty-six thousand men listed who were fit for military service, according to their numbered lists.
