1 υἱοὶ Λευι Γεδσων Κααθ καὶ Μεραρι

The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

2 καὶ υἱοὶ Κααθ Αμβραμ καὶ Ισσααρ Χεβρων καὶ Οζιηλ

And the sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

3 καὶ υἱοὶ Αμβραμ Ααρων καὶ Μωυσῆς καὶ Μαριαμ καὶ υἱοὶ Ααρων Ναδαβ καὶ Αβιουδ Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ

And the sons of Amram: Aaron and Moses and Miriam. And the sons of Aaron: Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

4 Ελεαζαρ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Φινεες Φινεες ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αβισου

Eleazar was the father of Phinehas; Phinehas was the father of Abishua;

5 Αβισου ἐγέννησεν τὸν Βωκαι Βωκαι ἐγέννησεν τὸν Οζι

And Abishua was the father of Bukki, and Bukki was the father of Uzzi,

6 Οζι ἐγέννησε τὸν Ζαραια Ζαραια ἐγέννησεν τὸν Μαριηλ

And Uzzi was the father of Zerahiah, and Zerahiah was the father of Meraioth;

7 καὶ Μαριηλ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αμαρια καὶ Αμαρια ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αχιτωβ

Meraioth was the father of Amariah, and Amariah was the father of Ahitub,

8 καὶ Αχιτωβ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαδωκ καὶ Σαδωκ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αχιμαας

And Ahitub was the father of Zadok, and Zadok was the father of Ahimaaz,

9 καὶ Αχιμαας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αζαρια καὶ Αζαριας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιωαναν

And Ahimaaz was the father of Azariah, and Azariah was the father of Johanan,

10 καὶ Ιωανας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αζαριαν οὗτος ἱεράτευσεν ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ ᾧ ᾠκοδόμησεν Σαλωμων ἐν Ιερουσαλημ

And Johanan was the father of Azariah, (he was priest in the house which Solomon put up in Jerusalem: )

11 καὶ ἐγέννησεν Αζαρια τὸν Αμαρια καὶ Αμαρια ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αχιτωβ

And Azariah was the father of Amariah, and Amariah was the father of Ahitub,

12 καὶ Αχιτωβ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαδωκ καὶ Σαδωκ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαλωμ

And Ahitub was the father of Zadok, and Zadok was the father of Shallum,

13 καὶ Σαλωμ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Χελκιαν καὶ Χελκιας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αζαρια

And Shallum was the father of Hilkiah, and Hilkiah was the father of Azariah,

14 καὶ Αζαριας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαραια καὶ Σαραιας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιωσαδακ

And Azariah was the father of Seraiah, and Seraiah was the father of Jehozadak;

15 καὶ Ιωσαδακ ἐπορεύθη ἐν τῇ μετοικίᾳ μετὰ Ιουδα καὶ Ιερουσαλημ ἐν χειρὶ Ναβουχοδονοσορ

And Jehozadak went as a prisoner when the Lord took away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

16 υἱοὶ Λευι Γεδσων Κααθ καὶ Μεραρι

The sons of Levi; Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.

17 καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Γεδσων Λοβενι καὶ Σεμεϊ

And these are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.

18 υἱοὶ Κααθ Αμβραμ καὶ Ισσααρ Χεβρων καὶ Οζιηλ

And the sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

19 υἱοὶ Μεραρι Μοολι καὶ Ομουσι καὶ αὗται αἱ πατριαὶ τοῦ Λευι κατὰ πατριὰς αὐτῶν

The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites listed by the names of their fathers.

20 τῷ Γεδσων τῷ Λοβενι υἱῷ αὐτοῦ Ιεεθ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ζεμμα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ

Of Gershom: Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,

21 Ιωαχ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Αδδι υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ζαρα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ιεθρι υἱὸς αὐτοῦ

Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, Jeatherai his son.

22 υἱοὶ Κααθ Αμιναδαβ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Κορε υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ασιρ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ

The sons of Kohath: Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,

23 Ελκανα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ Αβιασαφ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ασιρ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ

Elkanah his son, and Ebiasaph his son, and Assir his son,

24 Θααθ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ουριηλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Οζια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Σαουλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ

Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son.

25 καὶ υἱοὶ Ελκανα Αμασι καὶ Αχιμωθ

And the sons of Elkanah: Amasai and Ahimoth.

26 Ελκανα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Σουφι υἱὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ Νααθ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ

Elkanah his son: Zophai his son, and Nahath his son,

27 Ελιαβ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ιδαερ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ελκανα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ

Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son, Samuel his son.

28 υἱοὶ Σαμουηλ ὁ πρωτότοκος Σανι καὶ Αβια

And the sons of Samuel: the oldest Joel, and the second Abiah.

29 υἱοὶ Μεραρι Μοολι Λοβενι υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Σεμεϊ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Οζα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ

The sons of Merari: Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son,

30 Σομεα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Αγγια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ασαια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ

Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.

31 καὶ οὗτοι οὓς κατέστησεν Δαυιδ ἐπὶ χεῖρας ᾀδόντων ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου ἐν τῇ καταπαύσει τῆς κιβωτοῦ

And these are those whom David made responsible for the music in the house of the Lord, after the ark had rest.

32 καὶ ἦσαν λειτουργοῦντες ἐναντίον τῆς σκηνῆς οἴκου μαρτυρίου ἐν ὀργάνοις ἕως οὗ ᾠκοδόμησεν Σαλωμων τὸν οἶκον κυρίου ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἔστησαν κατὰ τὴν κρίσιν αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὰς λειτουργίας αὐτῶν

They gave worship with songs before the House of the Tent of meeting, till Solomon put up the house of the Lord in Jerusalem; and they took their places for their work in their regular order.

33 καὶ οὗτοι οἱ ἑστηκότες καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτῶν ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν τοῦ Κααθ Αιμαν ὁ ψαλτῳδὸς υἱὸς Ιωηλ υἱοῦ Σαμουηλ

And these are those who did this work, and their sons. Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman, who made melody, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,

34 υἱοῦ Ελκανα υἱοῦ Ηδαδ υἱοῦ Ελιηλ υἱοῦ Θιε

The son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,

35 υἱοῦ Σουφ υἱοῦ Ελκανα υἱοῦ Μεθ υἱοῦ Αμασιου

The son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,

36 υἱοῦ Ελκανα υἱοῦ Ιωηλ υἱοῦ Αζαρια υἱοῦ Σαφανια

The son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,

37 υἱοῦ Θααθ υἱοῦ Ασιρ υἱοῦ Αβιασαφ υἱοῦ Κορε

The son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah,

38 υἱοῦ Ισσααρ υἱοῦ Κααθ υἱοῦ Λευι υἱοῦ Ισραηλ

The son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.

39 καὶ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ Ασαφ ὁ ἑστηκὼς ἐν δεξιᾷ αὐτοῦ Ασαφ υἱὸς Βαραχια υἱοῦ Σαμαα

And his brother Asaph, whose place was at his right hand, Asaph, the son of Berechiah, the son of Shimea,

40 υἱοῦ Μιχαηλ υἱοῦ Μαασια υἱοῦ Μελχια

The son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchijah,

41 υἱοῦ Αθανι υἱοῦ Ζαραι υἱοῦ Αδια

The son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah,

42 υἱοῦ Αιθαν υἱοῦ Ζαμμα υἱοῦ Σεμεϊ

The son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shimei,

43 υἱοῦ Ηχα υἱοῦ Γεδσων υἱοῦ Λευι

The son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.

44 καὶ υἱοὶ Μεραρι ἀδελφοῦ αὐτῶν ἐξ ἀριστερῶν Αιθαν υἱὸς Κισαι υἱοῦ Αβδι υἱοῦ Μαλωχ

And on the left their brothers, the sons of Merari: Ethan, the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,

45 υἱοῦ Ασεβι υἱοῦ Αμεσσια υἱοῦ Χελκιου

The son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,

46 υἱοῦ Αμασαι υἱοῦ Βανι υἱοῦ Σεμμηρ

The son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shemer,

47 υἱοῦ Μοολι υἱοῦ Μουσι υἱοῦ Μεραρι υἱοῦ Λευι

The son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

48 καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν οἱ Λευῖται δεδομένοι εἰς πᾶσαν ἐργασίαν λειτουργίας σκηνῆς οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ

And their brothers the Levites were responsible for all the work of the Tent of the house of God.

49 καὶ Ααρων καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ θυμιῶντες ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τῶν ὁλοκαυτωμάτων καὶ ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τῶν θυμιαμάτων εἰς πᾶσαν ἐργασίαν ἅγια τῶν ἁγίων καὶ ἐξιλάσκεσθαι περὶ Ισραηλ κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς παῖς τοῦ θεοῦ

But Aaron and his sons made offerings on the altar of burned offering, and on the altar of perfume, for all the work of the most holy place, and to take away the sin of Israel, doing everything ordered by Moses, the servant of God.

50 καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ααρων Ελεαζαρ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Φινεες υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Αβισου υἱὸς αὐτοῦ

And these are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

51 Βωκαι υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Οζι υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ζαραια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ

Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,

52 Μαριηλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Αμαρια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Αχιτωβ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ

Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,

53 Σαδωκ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Αχιμαας υἱὸς αὐτοῦ

Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.

54 καὶ αὗται αἱ κατοικίαι αὐτῶν ἐν ταῖς κώμαις αὐτῶν ἐν τοῖς ὁρίοις αὐτῶν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ααρων τῇ πατριᾷ τοῦ Κααθι ὅτι αὐτοῖς ἐγένετο ὁ κλῆρος

Now these are their living-places, the limits inside which they were to put up their tents: to the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, because they had the first selection,

55 καὶ ἔδωκαν αὐτοῖς τὴν Χεβρων ἐν γῇ Ιουδα καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς κύκλῳ αὐτῆς

To them they gave Hebron and its outskirts in the land of Judah;

56 καὶ τὰ πεδία τῆς πόλεως καὶ τὰς κώμας αὐτῆς ἔδωκαν τῷ Χαλεβ υἱῷ Ιεφοννη

But the open country of the town, and the small places round it, they gave to Caleb, the son of Jephunneh.

57 καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς Ααρων ἔδωκαν τὰς πόλεις τῶν φυγαδευτηρίων τὴν Χεβρων καὶ τὴν Λοβνα καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Σελνα καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Εσθαμω καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς

And to the sons of Aaron they gave Hebron, the town to which men might go in flight and be safe, and Libnah with its outskirts, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa with its outskirts,

58 καὶ τὴν Ιεθθαρ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Δαβιρ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς

And Hilen with its outskirts, Debir with its outskirts,

59 καὶ τὴν Ασαν καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Ατταν καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Βασαμυς καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς

And Ashan with its outskirts, and Beth-shemesh with its outskirts;

60 καὶ ἐκ φυλῆς Βενιαμιν τὴν Γαβεε καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Γαλεμεθ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Αγχωχ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς πᾶσαι αἱ πόλεις αὐτῶν τρισκαίδεκα πόλεις κατὰ πατριὰς αὐτῶν

And from the tribe of Benjamin: Geba with its outskirts, and Alemeth with its outskirts, and Anathoth with its outskirts. All their towns among their families were thirteen towns.

61 καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς Κααθ τοῖς καταλοίποις ἐκ τῶν πατριῶν ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς ἐκ τοῦ ἡμίσους φυλῆς Μανασση κλήρῳ πόλεις δέκα

And to the rest of the sons of Kohath there were given by the Lord's decision ten towns out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim and out of the tribe of Dan and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh.

62 καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς Γεδσων κατὰ πατριὰς αὐτῶν ἐκ φυλῆς Ισσαχαρ ἐκ φυλῆς Ασηρ ἐκ φυλῆς Νεφθαλι ἐκ φυλῆς Μανασση ἐν τῇ Βασαν πόλεις τρισκαίδεκα

And to the sons of Gershom, by their families, out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen towns.

63 καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς Μεραρι κατὰ πατριὰς αὐτῶν ἐκ φυλῆς Ρουβην ἐκ φυλῆς Γαδ ἐκ φυλῆς Ζαβουλων κλήρῳ πόλεις δέκα δύο

And to the sons of Merari, by their families, twelve towns were given by the Lord's decision, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun.

64 καὶ ἔδωκαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ τοῖς Λευίταις τὰς πόλεις καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῶν

And the children of Israel gave to the Levites the towns with their outskirts.

65 καὶ ἔδωκαν ἐν κλήρῳ ἐκ φυλῆς υἱῶν Ιουδα καὶ ἐκ φυλῆς υἱῶν Συμεων τὰς πόλεις ταύτας ἃς ἐκάλεσεν αὐτὰς ἐπ’ ὀνόματος

And they gave by the Lord's decision out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these towns whose names are given.

66 καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν πατριῶν υἱῶν Κααθ καὶ ἐγένοντο πόλεις τῶν ὁρίων αὐτῶν ἐκ φυλῆς Εφραιμ

And to the families of the sons of Kohath were given towns by the Lord's decision out of the tribe of Ephraim.

67 καὶ ἔδωκαν αὐτῷ τὰς πόλεις τῶν φυγαδευτηρίων τὴν Συχεμ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς ἐν ὄρει Εφραιμ καὶ τὴν Γαζερ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς

And they gave them the town to which men might go in flight and be safe, Shechem in the hill-country of Ephraim with its outskirts, and Gezer with its outskirts,

68 καὶ τὴν Ιεκμααμ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Βαιθωρων καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς

And Jokmeam with its outskirts, and Beth-horon with its outskirts,

69 καὶ τὴν Εγλαμ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Γεθρεμμων καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς

And Aijalon with its outskirts, and Gath-rimmon with its outskirts;

70 καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ ἡμίσους φυλῆς Μανασση τὴν Αναρ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Ιεβλααμ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς κατὰ πατριὰν τοῖς υἱοῖς Κααθ τοῖς καταλοίποις

And out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Aner with its outskirts, and Bileam with its outskirts, for the rest of the family of the sons of Kohath.

71 τοῖς υἱοῖς Γεδσων ἀπὸ πατριῶν ἡμίσους φυλῆς Μανασση τὴν Γωλαν ἐκ τῆς Βασαν καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Ασηρωθ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς

To the sons of Gershom were given, out of the family of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with its outskirts, and Ashtaroth with its outskirts;

72 καὶ ἐκ φυλῆς Ισσαχαρ τὴν Κεδες καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Δεβερι καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς

And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedesh with its outskirts, and Daberath with its outskirts,

73 καὶ τὴν Δαβωρ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Αναμ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς

And Ramoth with its outskirts, and Anem with its outskirts;

74 καὶ ἐκ φυλῆς Ασηρ τὴν Μασαλ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Αβαραν καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς

And out of the tribe of Asher, Mashal with its outskirts, and Abdon with its outskirts,

75 καὶ τὴν Ικακ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Ροωβ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς

And Hukok with its outskirts, and Rehob with its outskirts;

76 καὶ ἀπὸ φυλῆς Νεφθαλι τὴν Κεδες ἐν τῇ Γαλιλαίᾳ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Χαμωθ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Καριαθαιμ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς

And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its outskirts, and Hammon with its outskirts, and Kiriathaim with its outskirts.

77 τοῖς υἱοῖς Μεραρι τοῖς καταλοίποις ἐκ φυλῆς Ζαβουλων τὴν Ρεμμων καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Θαχχια καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς

To the rest of the Levites, the sons of Merari, were given, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmono with its outskirts, Tabor with its outskirts;

78 καὶ ἐκ τοῦ πέραν τοῦ Ιορδάνου Ιεριχω κατὰ δυσμὰς τοῦ Ιορδάνου ἐκ φυλῆς Ρουβην τὴν Βοσορ ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Ιασα καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς

And on the other side of Jordan, at Jericho, on the east side of Jordan, were given them, out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the waste land with its outskirts, and Jahzah with its outskirts,

79 καὶ τὴν Καδημωθ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Μωφααθ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς

And Kedemoth with its outskirts, and Mephaath with its outskirts;

80 καὶ ἐκ φυλῆς Γαδ τὴν Ραμωθ Γαλααδ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Μααναιμ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς

And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its outskirts, and Mahanaim with its outskirts,

81 καὶ τὴν Εσεβων καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν Ιαζηρ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς

And Heshbon with its outskirts, and Jazer with its outskirts.
