1 N buado Tewofila, bi niba boncianla den moandi ki diani yaala n den tientieni ti siiga ya togida.
Forasmuch as many haue taken in hand to set foorth the storie of those things, whereof we are fully persuaded,

As they haue deliuered them vnto vs, which from the beginning saw them their selues, and were ministers of ye word,
3 N den tagidi ki bandi laa bonla kuli boŋanla ki cili ŋali li cilima. Min bandi li kuli yeni, n moko sua ke li ŋani min diani apo ki ŋoaŋoadi li fuuli,
It seemed good also to me (most noble Theophilus) assoone as I had searched out perfectly all things from the beginning, to write vnto thee thereof from point to point,
4 ki teni ŋan bandi ke ŋan den baa ya bangima tie moamoani cain.
That thou mightest acknowledge the certaintie of those things, whereof thou hast bene instructed.
5 Elodo n den ka ti gbandi po Jude diema nni, U Tienu kopadicianba siiga yendo den ye ke bi yi o Sakali. O den tie U Tienu kopadicianba caga siiga cagiyenli yua, Abia ya cagili. O pua moko den tie Alono puoliŋuanu ki yi Elisabeta.
In the time of Herod King of Iudea, there was a certaine Priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabet.
6 Bani bonba lie yeni kuli den tiegi U Tienu nintuali. Bi den ŋua o Diedo balimaama leni o mabilikaama kuli cain kaa pia tagili.
Both were iust before God, and walked in all the commandements and ordinances of the Lord, without reproofe.
7 Ama baa den pia biga, kelima Elisabeta den tie ŋoaliga. Bani bonba lie kuli den kpeligi.
And they had no childe, because that Elisabet was barren: and both were well stricken in age.
8 Sakali den tuuni o kopadician-tuonli U Tienu nintuali kelima wan den ye ya cagili nni n baa soani ya yogunu pundi.
And it came to passe, as he executed the Priestes office before God, as his course came in order,
9 Bi den toani tiatia nani U Tienu kopadicianba n maani ki tiendi maama, ki gandi o ke o baa kua o Diedo dieli nni ki sia a dugibila.
According to the custome of the Priests office, his lot was to burne incense, when he went into the Temple of the Lord.
10 Ban den juugi a dugibila ya yogunu, U Tienu niba nitaanli kuli den ye niini ki jaandi.
And the whole multitude of the people were without in prayer, while the incense was burning.
11 Lani o Diedo maleki den sedi a dugibila padibinbinli jienu po ki doagidi o yuli Sakali kani.
Then appeared vnto him an Angel of the Lord standing at the right side of the altar of incense.
12 Sakali n den laa o, o yama den yagi ke ti jawaandi cuo o.
And when Zacharias sawe him, he was troubled, and feare fell vpon him.
13 Ama maleki den yedi o: “Sakali, ŋan da jie, U Tienu ga a miabu, a pua Elisabeta baa ma apo bonjaga, ŋan yini o Jan.
But the Angel saide vnto him, Feare not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard, and thy wise Elisabet shall beare thee a sonne, and thou shalt call his name Iohn.
14 O baa tie apo pamancianli, yaaba n baa mangi bi pala kelima o madi po baa yaba.
And thou shalt haue ioy and gladnes, and many shall reioyce at his birth.
15 O baa tie niciamo o Diedo nintuali, o kan ño duven leni ya daama n bia kuli. O baa gbie leni U Tienu Fuoma Yua ŋali ki daa ye o naa tugu nni.
For he shalbe great in the sight of the Lord, and shall neither drinke wine, nor strong drinke: and he shalbe filled with the holy Ghost, euen from his mothers wombe.
16 O baa gobidi ki guani Isalele buolu yaaba boncianla o Diedo bi Tienu kani.
And many of the children of Israel shall he turne to their Lord God.
17 O baa cuoni U Tienu nintuali leni Elia yantiali buolu leni o paalu, ki teni bibaanba n goa ki mangi leni bi bila. Ki teni bi niyiekaaba n goa baa bi niteginkaaba yanfuoma. O baa bogini bi niba bi pala n tuo o Diedo po.”
For he shall goe before him in the spirite and power of Elias, to turne the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisedome of the iust men, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
18 Sakali den yedi maleki: “N baa bandi lede ke lankuli tie moamoani? Kelima n kpeligi n pua mo podi.”
Then Zacharias said vnto ye Angel, Whereby shall I knowe this? for I am an olde man, and my wife is of a great age.
19 Maleki den goa ki yedi o: “Mini Gabiyeli, yua n ye U Tienu kani ki tuuni opo. O soani nni ke min maadi a ki waani a laa laabaaliŋamo.
And the Angell answered, and sayde vnto him, I am Gabriel that stand in the presence of God, and am sent to speake vnto thee, and to shew thee these good tidings.
20 Nani ŋan ki dugi n maama po yaama n baa tieni mi yogunu yaa pundi yeni, a baa tua muulo ki kan go fidi ki maadi ŋali laa bonla n baa tieni ya daali.”
And beholde, thou shalt be domme, and not be able to speake, vntill the day that these things be done, because thou beleeuedst not my words, which shalbe fulfilled in their season.
21 Bi niba yaaba n den ye niini yeni den ji Sakali ke li paki ba leni wan waagi U Tienu diegu nni maama.
Now the people waited for Zacharias, and marueiled that he taried so long in the Temple.
22 Wan den ñani, waa fidi ki maadi leni ba. Lane bi den bandi ke o laa li bonlekaala U Tienu diegu nni. O den maadi leni ba leni o nii, ki ji tie muulo.
And when hee came out, hee coulde not speake vnto them: then they perceiued that hee had seene a vision in the Temple: For he made signes vnto them, and remained domme.
23 Sakali tuonli U Tienu diegu nni dana n den gbeni, o den kuni o denpo.
And it came to passe, when the daies of his office were fulfilled, that he departed to his owne house.
24 Yogunuba n den pendi, o pua Elisabeta den punbi. O den ye deenni yogunu kuli ŋali ŋmaali muu, ki maadi leni o yuli ki tua:
And after those daies, his wife Elisabet conceiued, and hid her selfe fiue moneths, saying,
25 “O Diedo tieni npo line wan jagi ke o baa ñani npo i fe ya yogunu bi niba siiga.”
Thus hath the Lord dealt with me, in the daies wherein he looked on me, to take from me my rebuke among men.
26 Sakali pua tugu ŋmaluobilo nni U Tienu den soani ya maleki n yi Gabiyeli Nasaleti, ya dogu n ye Galile diema nni.
And in the sixth moneth, the Angell Gabriel was sent from God vnto a citie of Galile, named Nazareth,
27 O den soani o li powandiali kani. Yua n den tie ya joa n yi Josefi ya toginaa ki tie Dafidi diegu nni yua. Li powandiali yeni den yi Maliyama.
To a virgin affianced to a man whose name was Ioseph, of the house of Dauid, and the virgins name was Marie.
28 Maleki yeni den cua o kani ki yedi o: “N fuondi a, fini yua n baa li ŋanbili U Tienu kani. O diedo ye leni a.”
And the Angel went in vnto her, and said, Haile thou that art freely beloued: the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
29 Maliyama yama den yagi boncianla laa maama po, ke o buali o yuli laa fuondi n bua ki yedi yaala.
And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and thought what maner of salutation that should be.
30 Maleki den yedi o: “Maliyama, ŋan da jie, kelima a baa li ŋanbili U Tienu kani.
Then the Angel saide vnto her, Feare not, Marie: for thou hast found fauour with God.
31 Diidi, a baa punbi ki maa bonjaga. Han yini o Jesu.
For loe, thou shalt conceiue in thy wobe, and beare a sonne, and shalt call his name Iesus.
32 O baa tie niciamo, bi baa yini o tanpojoma Tienu Bijua. O Diedo U Tienu n baa kaani o o yaaja Dafidi gbandi po,
He shall be great, and shall be called the Sonne of the most High, and the Lord God shall giue vnto him the throne of his father Dauid.
33 wan ya die Jakobo buolu yaaba ŋali ya yogunu kuli, o diema kan baa juodima ŋali abada.” (aiōn g165)
And hee shall reigne ouer the house of Iacob for euer, and of his kingdome shall bee none ende. (aiōn g165)
34 Maliyama den yedi maleki: “Min kaa bani joa yeni, lani mo baa ga lede ki tieni?”
Then sayde Marie vnto the Angel, How shall this be, seeing I knowe not man?
35 Maleki den goa yedi o: “U Tienu fuoma yua baa cua a kani, tanpojoma Tienu paalu baa yini apo. Lanyaapo bi baa yini ŋan baa maa ya bigagidikaaga yeni U Tienu Bijua.
And the Angel answered, and said vnto her, The holy Ghost shall come vpon thee, and the power of the most High shall ouershadowe thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall bee borne of thee, shall be called the Sonne of God.
36 Diidi, a kpiilo Elisabeta, o moko punbi bonjaga o pociandi nni. Ban den tua yua ke o tie ŋoaliga o ji ye o ŋmaluobilo nni.
And behold, thy cousin Elisabet, she hath also conceiued a sonne in her olde age: and this is her sixt moneth, which was called barren.
37 Kelima U Tienu ki pia wan kan fidi yaala.”
For with God shall nothing be vnpossible.
38 Maliyama den yedi: “N tie o Diedo yonbo, lan tua npo nani ŋan yedi maama.” Maleki den ñani o kani.
Then Marie said, Behold the seruant of the Lord: be it vnto me according to thy woorde. So the Angel departed from her.

And Marie arose in those daies, and went into ye hil countrey with hast to a citie of Iuda,
40 O den kua Sakali deni ki fuondi Elisabeta.
And entred into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabet.
41 Elisabeta n den gbadi Maliyama fuondi ya yogunu, o biga den jeli o tugu nni, U Tienu Fuoma Yua den gbieni Elisabeta
And it came to passe, as Elisabet heard the salutation of Marie, the babe sprang in her bellie, and Elisabet was filled with the holy Ghost.
42 ke kpaani: “A baa li seli ki cie bi puoba kuli a tugu nni biga mo baa li seli.
And she cried with a loud voice, and saide, Blessed art thou among women, because the fruit of thy wombe is blessed.
43 Be n teni ke n baa ke fini n Diedo naa cua n kani?
And whence commeth this to mee, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
44 Diidi, min gbadi a fuondi ya yogunu liga, ki biga ban jeli n tugu nni leni li pamancianli.
For loe, assoone as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine eares, the babe sprang in my bellie for ioye,
45 Li pamanli ye leni a fini yua n daani ke wani o diedo n soani ke bi yedi a ya bonla baa tieni.”
And blessed is shee that beleeued: for those things shall be perfourmed, which were tolde her from the Lord.
46 Maliyama den yedi: “N kpiagi o Diedo,
Then Marie sayde, My soule magnifieth the Lord,
47 n pali mani ŋali boncianla kelima wani U Tienu n candaano po,
And my spirite reioyceth in God my Sauiour.
48 Kelima o laa npo, mini o yonbo yua n tie taliga. Dinla liiga nifiima n tu nifiima kuli baa yedi li pamanli ye leni nni,
For hee hath looked on the poore degree of his seruaunt: for beholde, from henceforth shall all ages call me blessed,
49 Kelima wani U paaciamu kuli daano tieni npo ya bonla n pia pakili o yeli gagidi ki ŋani.
Because hee that is mightie, hath done for me great things, and holy is his Name.
50 O baa gba mi niŋima yaaba n fangi o nifiima n tu nifiima kuli po.
And his mercie is from generation to generation on them that feare him.
51 O doagidi o nu paalu, ki yadi ti yantia-japaadi danba.
Hee hath shewed strength with his arme: hee hath scattered the proude in the imagination of their hearts.
52 O jiini i paaciami danba bi balikalikaani po ki fiini taliginba.
Hee hath put downe the mighty from their seates, and exalted them of lowe degree.
53 O guoni a konkonba li bonŋanla, ki cabi a piada u nukuomu.
Hee hath filled the hungrie with good things, and sent away the rich emptie.
54 O todi o naacenba Isalele yaaba. Waa sundi ki doagidi o niŋigbadima,
Hee hath vpholden Israel his seruaunt to be mindefull of his mercie
(As hee hath spoken to our fathers, to wit, to Abraham, and his seede) for euer. (aiōn g165)
56 Maliyama den kali Elisabeta kani ke li bua ki pundi ŋmaalita, ki goa ki kuni o denpo.
And Marie abode with her about three moneths: after, shee returned to her owne house.
57 Elisabeta mayogunu den pundi ke o mali bonjaga.
Nowe Elisabets time was fulfilled, that shee should be deliuered, and shee brought foorth a sonne.
58 O yegininlieba leni o kpiiba den gbadi ke o diedo gbadi opo mi niŋicianma, ki taani ki mangi bi pala leni o.
And her neighbours, and cousins heard tell howe the Lord had shewed his great mercie vpon her, and they reioyced with her.
59 Li daniili daali bi den cua ki baa kuani ki canpandiga ku koanciagu. Bi den bua ki yini o o baa yeli Sakali.
And it was so that on the eight day they came to circumcise the babe, and called him Zacharias after the name of his father.
60 Ama o naa den yedi: “Yeni ka, o baa yi Jan.”
But his mother answered, and saide, Not so, but he shalbe called Iohn.
61 Bi den yedi o: “A kpiiba siiga ki pia yua n yi laa yeli.”
And they saide vnto her, There is none of thy kindred, that is named with this name.
62 Bi den maadi o baa mi muulima, ki bua ki bandi wan bua ki biga n ya yi maama.
Then they made signes to his father, howe he would haue him called.
63 Sakali den mia wan baa diani naani, ki diani lipo: “o yeli yi jan.” Li den paki bikuli.
So hee asked for writing tables, and wrote, saying, His name is Iohn, and they marueiled all.
64 Lanyogunu lanyogunu Sakali lanbu den tabidi, ke o fidi ki yaadi ki pagi U Tienu.
And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue, and he spake and praised God.
65 Ti jawaandi den cuo bi yieninlieba kuli. Yaaba n den ye Jude diema nni kuli den maadi laa bonla kuli bi siiga.
Then feare came on all them that dwelt neere vnto them, and all these woordes were noised abroade throughout all the hill countrey of Iudea.
66 Yaaba n den gbadi likuli den kubi la bi pala ki tua: “Ki naa biga baa tua be.” Moamoani, o Diedo nu den kubi o.
And al they that heard them, laid them vp in their hearts, saying, What maner childe shall this be! and the hand of the Lord was with him.
67 Ki baa Sakali den gbie leni U Tienu Fuoma Yua ki pua sawali ki yedi:
Then his father Zacharias was filled with the holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,
68 “O Diedo Isalele Tienu n baa ti pagidi, kelima o laa o niba po ki da ki faabi ba.
Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, because he hath visited and redeemed his people,
69 Ki fiini tipo o naacemo Dafidi diegu nni ya candaano n pa.
And hath raised vp the horne of saluation vnto vs, in the house of his seruant Dauid,
As he spake by ye mouth of his holy Prophets, which were since the world began, saying, (aiōn g165)
71 O den niani ke o baa ga ti ti yibalinba nuu nni.
That he would sende vs deliuerance from our enemies, and from the hands of all that hate vs,
72 Yeni o gbadi ti yaajanba po mi niŋima, ki tiadi o ŋantaado yua n gagidi ki ŋani po,
That he might shewe mercie towards our fathers, and remember his holy couenant,
73 Wan den poli ki kuani yua leni ti yaaja Abalaŋama,
And the othe which he sware to our father Abraham.
74 Ke o baa ga ti ti yibalinba nuu nni ki teni tin ya jaandi o kaa jie,
Which was, that he would graunt vnto vs, that we being deliuered out of the handes of our enemies, should serue him without feare,
75 Ki ya cuoni o nintuali leni mi gagidiŋanma leni mi teginma ŋali ti miali dana kuli.
All the daies of our life, in holinesse and righteousnesse before him.
76 Fini ki canpandiga bi baa yi ŋa Tienu yua n ye ŋali tanpolijoma ya sawalipualo Kelimaa baa ga o Diedo liiga, ki ya ŋanbidi o sani,
And thou, babe, shalt be called the Prophet of the most High: for thou shalt goe before the face of the Lord, to prepare his waies,
77 Ki teni o niba n la o tindima, Kelima o tieni bi po sugili bi tuonbiadi po,
And to giue knowledge of saluation vnto his people, by the remission of their sinnes,
78 Kelima ti Tienu ya niŋigbadima yaapo o teni ke o yenma ñani tanpoli Ki yendi tipo nani u yienu n pudi maama yeni,
Through ye tender mercy of our God, wherby the day spring from an hie hath visited vs,
79 Ki baa yendi yaaba n ye li biigili nni Leni mi kuuma nni jinjingu nni po, Ki gobidi ti ke tin kua ki ya cuoni Mi yanduama sanu nni.”
To giue light to them that sit in darknes, and in the shadow of death, and to guide our feete into the way of peace.
80 Ki biga yeni den kpedi ki fandi bonŋanla, ki ye li fuali nni ŋali ya daali ke o den ti doagidi o yuli Isalele yaaba po.
And the childe grewe, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the wildernesse, til the day came that he should shewe him selfe vnto Israel.
