Psalm 92

1 Ein Psalm, ein Lied für den Sabbathtag. Gut ist es, den Jehovah zu bekennen, und Psalmen zu singen Deinem Namen, o Allerhöchster.

A Psalme or song for the Sabbath day. It is a good thing to praise the Lord, and to sing vnto thy Name, O most High,

2 Anzusagen am Morgen Deine Barmherzigkeit, und in den Nächten Deine Wahrheit.

To declare thy louing kindenesse in the morning, and thy trueth in the night,

3 Auf den zehn Saiten und auf dem Psalter, auf dem Higgajon der Harfe.

Vpon an instrument of tenne strings, and vpon the viole with the song vpon the harpe.

4 Denn Du machst mich fröhlich mit Deinem Werke, Jehovah; ob den Taten Deiner Hände juble ich.

For thou, Lord, hast made mee glad by thy workes, and I wil reioyce in the workes of thine handes.

5 Wie groß, Jehovah, sind Deine Taten, o Jehovah, wie sehr tief Deine Gedanken!

O Lord, how glorious are thy workes! and thy thoughtes are very deepe.

6 Der tierische Mann weiß es nicht, und der Narr versteht es nicht.

An vnwise man knoweth it not, and a foole doeth not vnderstand this,

7 Wen die Ungerechten sprossen wie das Kraut und alle, die Unrecht tun, blühen auf, um auf immerfort vernichtet zu werden.

(When the wicked growe as the grasse, and all the workers of wickednesse doe flourish) that they shall be destroyed for euer.

8 Du aber, bist ewiglich erhöht, o Jehovah.

But thou, O Lord, art most High for euermore.

9 Denn siehe, Jehovah, Deine Feinde, denn siehe Deine Feinde vergehen, alle, die Unrecht tun, werden zerstreut.

For loe, thine enemies, O Lord: for loe, thine enemies shall perish: all the workers of iniquitie shall be destroyed.

10 Du aber willst mein Horn, wie das des Einhorns erhöhen, und mit frischem Öle werde ich alt werden.

But thou shalt exalt mine horne, like the vnicornes, and I shalbe anoynted with fresh oyle.

11 Mein Auge blickt auf die, so mir nachstellen; meine Ohren hören von den Bösen, die wider mich aufstehen.

Mine eye also shall see my desire against mine enemies: and mine eares shall heare my wish against the wicked, that rise vp against me.

12 Der Palme gleich sproßt der Gerechte auf, wie die Zeder auf dem Libanon wächst er empor.

The righteous shall flourish like a palme tree, and shall grow like a Cedar in Lebanon.

13 Gepflanzt sind sie in Jehovahs Haus, sie sprossen in unseres Gottes Vorhöfen empor.

Such as bee planted in the house of the Lord, shall flourish in the courtes of our God.

14 Im Greisenalter bringen sie noch Frucht, sind saftreich und grün.

They shall still bring foorth fruite in their age: they shall be fat and flourishing,

15 Um anzusagen, daß Jehovah ist gerade, mein Fels, und es ist in Ihm keine Verkehrtheit.

To declare that the Lord my rocke is righteous, and that none iniquitie is in him.
