Psalm 119
1 Selig die, deren Weg untadelig ist, die in dem Gesetz Jehovahs wandeln.
ALEPH. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
2 Selig die, die Seine Zeugnisse bewahren, die Ihn von ganzem Herzen suchen.
Blessed are they who search his testimonies: that seek him with their whole heart.
3 Auch tun sie nichts Verkehrtes. In Seinen Wegen wandeln sie.
For they that work iniquity, have not walked in his ways.
4 Du hast geboten, Deine Ordnungen sehr zu halten.
Thou hast commanded thy commandments to be kept most diligently.
5 Möchten doch meine Wege dahin sich richten, daß ich hielte Deine Satzungen.
O! that my ways may be directed to keep thy justifications.
6 Dann werde ich nicht beschämt, wenn ich auf alle Deine Gebote blicke.
Then shall I not be confounded, when I shall look into all thy commandments.
7 Ich bekenne Dich in Geradheit des Herzens, wenn ich lerne die Rechte Deiner Gerechtigkeit.
I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned the judgments of thy justice.
8 Deine Satzungen will ich halten; verlasse mich nicht zu sehr.
I will keep thy justifications: O! do not thou utterly forsake me.
9 Wie wird ein Jüngling seinen Pfad lauter machen? Daß er sich halte nach Deinem Wort.
BETH. By what doth a young man correct his way? by observing thy words.
10 Von ganzem Herzen suche ich nach Dir. Laß mich von Deinen Geboten nicht fehlgehen.
With my whole heart have I sought after thee: let me not stray from thy commandments.
11 In meinem Herzen verdecke ich Deine Rede, daß ich nicht wider Dich sündige.
Thy words have I hidden in my heart, that I may not sin against thee.
12 Gesegnet bist Du, Jehovah, lehre mich Deine Satzungen.
Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy justifications.
13 Mit meinen Lippen habe ich alle die Rechte Deines Mundes erzählt.
With my lips I have pronounced all the judgments of thy mouth.
14 Auf dem Weg Deiner Zeugnisse freue ich mich mehr, als über alle Güter.
I have been delighted in the way of thy testimonies, as in all riches.
15 Ich überdenke Deine Ordnungen und blicke auf Deine Pfade.
I will meditate on thy commandments: and I will consider thy ways.
16 An Deinen Satzungen ergötze ich mich, ich vergesse nicht Deines Wortes.
I will think of thy justifications: I will not forget thy words.
17 Tue wohl Deinem Knechte, daß ich lebe und halte Dein Wort.
GIMEL. Give bountifully to thy servant, enliven me: and I shall keep thy words.
18 Tue meine Augen auf, daß ich Wunder aus Deinem Gesetz erblicke.
Open thou my eyes: and I will consider the wondrous things of thy law.
19 Ein Fremdling bin ich auf Erden, verbirg Deine Gebote nicht vor mir!
I am a sojourner on the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
20 Zerdrückt ist meine Seele vor Sehnsucht nach Deinen Rechten alle Zeit.
My soul hath coveted to long for thy justifications, at all times.
21 Du bedrohst die verfluchten Vermessenen, die von Deinen Geboten fehlgehen.
Thou hast rebuked the proud: they are cursed who decline from thy commandments.
22 Wälze von mir Schmach und Verachtung ab; denn Deine Zeugnisse habe ich bewahrt.
Remove from reproach and contempt: because I have sought after thy testimonies.
23 Selbst Oberste sitzen und bereden sich wider mich; Dein Knecht überdenkt Deine Satzungen.
For princes sat, and spoke against me: but thy servant was employed in thy justifications.
24 Deine Zeugnisse sind auch mein Ergötzen, die Männer meines Rates.
For thy testimonies are my (meditation) and thy justifications my counsel.
25 Am Staube klebt meine Seele, belebe mich nach Deinem Worte.
DALETH. My soul hath cleaved to the pavement: quicken thou me according to thy word.
26 Ich erzählte meine Wege, und Du antwortetest mir. Lehre Deine Satzungen.
I have declared my ways, and thou hast heard me: teach me thy justifications.
27 Laß mich den Weg Deiner Ordnungen einsehen, daß ich überdenke Deine Wunder,
Make me to understand the way of thy justifications: and I shall be exercised in thy wondrous works.
28 Es verfließt vor Gram meine Seele, richte mich auf nach Deinem Worte.
My soul hath slumbered through heaviness: strengthen thou me in thy words.
29 Den Weg der Lüge wende von mir ab, und mit Deinem Gesetz begnade mich!
Remove from me the way of iniquity: and out of thy law have mercy on me.
30 Den Weg der Wahrheit habe ich erwählt. Ich stelle vor mich Deine Rechte.
I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments I have not forgotten.
31 Ich hafte an Deinen Zeugnissen, Jehovah, lasse mich nicht beschämt werden.
I have stuck to thy testimonies, O Lord: put me not to shame.
32 Den Weg Deiner Gebote will ich laufen, weil Du mein Herz erweiterst.
I have run the way of thy commandments, when thou didst enlarge my heart.
33 Weise mich, Jehovah, den Weg Deiner Satzungen, und ich will ihn stets bewahren.
HE. Set before me for a law the way of thy justifications, O Lord: and I will always seek after it.
34 Mache mich einsichtsvoll, und ich bewahre Dein Gesetz, und halte es von ganzem Herzen.
Give me understanding, and I will search thy law; and I will keep it with my whole heart.
35 Lasse mich einhertreten auf dem Steige Deiner Gebote, denn ich habe Lust dazu.
Lead me into the path of thy commandments; for this same I have desired.
36 Neige mein Herz zu Deinen Zeugnissen, und nicht zum Gewinn.
Incline my heart into thy testimonies and not to covetousness.
37 Laß meine Augen vorübergehen, daß sie nicht auf Eitles sehen. Belebe mich auf Deinem Wege.
Turn away my eyes that they may not behold vanity: quicken me in thy way.
38 Bestätige Deinem Knecht Deine Rede, daß man Dich fürchte.
Establish thy word to thy servant, in thy fear.
39 Laß die Schmach an mir vorübergehen, vor der mir bangt; denn gut sind Deine Rechte.
Turn away my reproach, which I have apprehended: for thy judgments are delightful.
40 Siehe, ich sehne mich nach Deinen Ordnungen, mit Deiner Gerechtigkeit belebe mich.
Behold I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy justice.
41 Laß Deine Barmherzigkeit auf mich kommen, Jehovah, Dein Heil, nach Deiner Rede.
VAU. Let thy mercy also come upon me, O Lord: thy salvation according to thy word.
42 Und ich antworte ein Wort denen, die mich schmähen; denn auf Dein Wort vertraue ich.
So shall I answer them that reproach me in any thing; that I have trusted in thy words.
43 Und entreiße meinem Mund nicht so sehr das Wort der Wahrheit; denn auf Deine Gerichte warte ich;
And take not thou the word of truth utterly out of my mouth: for in thy words have I hoped exceedingly.
44 Und will beständig halten Dein Gesetz ewiglich und immerfort.
So shall I always keep thy law, for ever and ever.
45 Und will in der Weite wandeln, denn ich frage nach Deinen Ordnungen.
And I walked at large: because I have sought after thy commandments.
46 Und will reden vor Königen von Deinen Zeugnissen, und nicht mich schämen,
And I spoke of thy testimonies before kings: and I was not ashamed.
47 Und mich ergötzen an Deinen Geboten, die ich liebe.
I meditated also on thy commandments, which I loved.
48 Und will erheben meine Hände zu Deinen Geboten, die ich liebe, und überdenken Deine Satzungen.
And I lifted up my hands to thy commandments, which I loved: and I was exercised in thy justifications.
49 Gedenke Deinem Knecht des Wortes, dessen Du mich ließest warten.
ZAIN. Be thou mindful of thy word to thy servant, in which thou hast given me hope.
50 Das ist mein Trost in meinem Elend, weil mich Deine Rede belebt hat.
This hath comforted me in my humiliation: because thy word hath enlivened me.
51 Mich haben Vermessene gar sehr verspottet; von Deinem Gesetz wende ich mich nicht ab.
The proud did iniquitously altogether: but I declined not from thy law.
52 Ich gedenke Deiner Gerichte von Ewigkeit her, Jehovah, und bin getröstet.
I remembered, O Lord, thy judgments of old: and I was comforted.
53 Ein Glutwind hat mich ergriffen wegen der Ungerechten, die Dein Gesetz verlassen.
A fainting hath taken hold of me, because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
54 Psalmen waren mir Deine Satzungen im Hause meiner Wanderungen.
Thy justifications were the subject of my song, in the place of my pilgrimage.
55 Ich gedenke Deines Namens des Nachts, Jehovah, und halte Dein Gesetz.
In the night I have remembered thy name, O Lord: and have kept thy law.
56 Das ward mir, weil ich bewahrte Deine Ordnungen.
This happened to me: because I sought after thy justifications.
57 Mein Teil, Jehovah, sprach ich, ist, daß ich Deine Worte halte.
HETH. O Lord, my portion, I have said, I would keep the law.
58 Ich flehe an Dein Angesicht von ganzem Herzen: Sei gnädig mir nach Deiner Rede.
I entreated thy face with all my heart: have mercy on me according to thy word.
59 Ich denke meiner Wege und kehre meinen Fuß zu Deinen Zeugnissen zurück.
I have thought on my ways: and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
60 Ich spute mich und zaudere nicht, Deine Gebote zu halten.
I am ready, and am not troubled: that I may keep thy commandments.
61 Der Ungerechten Stricke haben mich umstrickt, ich vergesse Deines Gesetzes nicht.
The cords of the wicked have encompassed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.
62 Ich stehe auf um Mitternacht, Dich zu bekennen, ob der Gerichte Deiner Gerechtigkeit.
I rose at midnight to give praise to thee; for the judgments of thy justification.
63 Ich bin ein Gefährte aller, die Dich fürchten und Deine Ordnungen halten.
I am a partaker with all them that fear thee, and that keep thy commandments.
64 Jehovah, Deiner Barmherzigkeit ist die Erde voll, lehre mich Deine Satzungen.
The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy justifications.
65 Du hast, Jehovah, Gutes an Deinem Knecht getan nach Deinem Wort.
TETH. Thou hast done well with thy servant, O Lord, according to thy word.
66 Das Gut des Verstandes und der Kenntnis lehre mich; denn an Deine Gebote glaube ich.
Teach me goodness and discipline and knowledge; for I have believed thy commandments.
67 Bevor ich ward gedemütigt, ging ich fehl, nun aber halte ich Deine Rede.
Before I was humbled I offended; therefore have I kept thy word.
68 Gut bist Du und tust Gutes, lehre mich Deine Satzungen.
Thou art good; and in thy goodness teach me thy justifications.
69 Die Vermessenen dichten Lüge wider mich, ich bewahre Deine Ordnungen von ganzem Herzen.
The iniquity of the proud hath been multiplied over me: but I will seek thy commandments with my whole heart.
70 Ihr Herz ist fühllos, wie Fett. Ich ergötze mich an Deinem Gesetz.
Their heart is curdled like milk: but I have meditated on thy law.
71 Gut war es für mich, daß ich gedemütigt ward, damit ich lernte Deine Satzungen.
It is good for me that thou hast humbled me, that I may learn thy justifications.
72 Besser ist mir das Gesetz Deines Mundes, denn Tausende von Gold und Silber.
The law of thy mouth is good to me, above thousands of gold and silver.
73 Deine Hände haben mich gemacht und bereitet. Gib Einsicht mir, und ich lerne Deine Gebote.
JOD. Thy hands have made me and formed me: give me understanding, and I will learn thy commandments.
74 Mich sehen, die Dich fürchten, und sind froh, denn ich warte auf Dein Wort.
They that fear thee shall see me, and shall be glad: because I have greatly hoped in thy words.
75 Ich weiß, Jehovah, daß Deine Gerichte sind gerecht, und daß in Treue Du mich gedemütigt hast.
I know, O Lord, that thy judgments are equity: and in thy truth thou hast humbled me.
76 Laß doch Deine Barmherzigkeit mir zum Troste werden, nach Deiner Rede an Deinem Knecht.
O! let thy mercy be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.
77 Laß Dein Erbarmen kommen über mich, auf daß ich lebe; denn Dein Gesetz ist mein Ergötzen.
Let thy tender mercies come unto me, and I shall live: for thy law is my (meditation)
78 Beschämt werden die Vermessenen; sie stürzen mich um mit Lügen, ich aber überdenke Deine Ordnungen.
Let the proud be ashamed, because they have done unjustly towards me: but I will be employed in thy commandments.
79 Es müssen zurückkehren zu mir die, so Dich fürchten, und Deine Zeugnisse kennen!
Let them that fear thee turn to me and they that know thy testimonies.
80 Untadelig sei mein Herz in Deinen Satzungen, auf daß ich nicht beschämt werde.
Let my heart be undefiled in thy justifications, that I may not be confounded.
81 Nach Deinem Heile verzehrt sich meine Seele, auf Dein Wort habe ich gewartet.
CAPH. My soul hath fainted after thy salvation: and in thy word I have very much hoped.
82 Es verzehren sich meine Augen nach Deiner Rede und sagen: Wann tröstest Du mich?
My eyes have failed for thy word, saying: When wilt thou comfort me?
83 Denn wie der Schlauch im Rauch bin ich; doch Deiner Satzungen vergesse ich nicht.
For I am become like a bottle in the frost: I have not forgotten thy justifications.
84 Wie viele sind der Tage Deines Knechtes? Wann tust Du Gericht an meinen Verfolgern?
How many are the days of thy servant: when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
85 Fallgruben graben mir die Vermessenen, die nicht nach Deinem Gesetz sind.
The wicked have told me fables: but not as thy law.
86 Alle Deine Gebote sind Wahrheit. Sie verfolgen mich mit Lügen, stehe Du mir bei.
All thy statutes are truth: they have persecuted me unjustly, do thou help me.
87 Um ein Kleines hätten sie mich von der Erde aufgerieben; doch verließ ich nicht Deine Ordnungen.
They had almost made an end of me upon earth: but I have not forsaken thy commandments.
88 Belebe mich nach Deiner Barmherzigkeit, und ich werde das Zeugnis Deines Mundes halten.
Quicken thou me according to thy mercy: and I shall keep the testimonies of thy mouth.
89 Ewiglich, o Jehovah, steht fest in den Himmeln Dein Wort.
LAMED. For ever, O Lord, thy word standeth firm in heaven.
90 Deine Wahrheit ist zu Geschlecht und Geschlecht. Du festigst die Erde, und sie steht.
Thy truth unto all generations: thou hast founded the earth, and it continueth.
91 Nach Deinen Rechten stehen sie heute; denn alles dient Dir.
By thy ordinance the day goeth on: for all things serve thee.
92 Wäre Dein Gesetz nicht mein Ergötzen, dann wäre ich in meinem Elend vergangen.
Unless thy law had been my (meditation) I had then perhaps perished in my abjection.
93 Ewig vergesse ich nicht Deine Ordnungen; denn durch sie belebst Du mich.
Thy justifications I will never forget: for by them thou hast given me life.
94 Dein bin ich, rette mich, denn Deinen Ordnungen frage ich nach.
I am thine, save thou me: for I have sought thy justifications.
95 Die Ungerechten erwarten mich, daß sie mich zerstören, ich habe Einsicht in Deine Ordnungen.
The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I have understood thy testimonies.
96 Aller Vollkommenheit sah ich ein Ende; doch Dein Gebot ist sehr weit.
I have seen an end to all persecution: thy commandment is exceeding broad.
97 Wie liebe ich Dein Gesetz! Es ist den ganzen Tag mein Nachsinnen.
MEM. O how have I loved thy law, O Lord! it is my meditation all the day.
98 Weiser denn meine Feinde machen mich Deine Gebote; denn mein sind sie ewiglich.
Through thy commandment, thou hast made me wiser than my enemies: for it is ever with me.
99 Vor allen meinen Lehrern bin ich verständig geworden; denn Deine Zeugnisse überdenke ich.
I have understood more than all my teachers: because thy testimonies are my (meditation)
100 Einsichtsvoller bin ich, als die Alten; denn Deine Ordnungen bewahre ich.
I have had understanding above ancients: because I have sought thy commandments.
101 Von jedem bösen Pfade halte ich meine Füße weg, auf daß Dein Wort ich halte.
I have restrained my feet from every evil way: that I may keep thy words.
102 Von Deinen Rechten weiche ich nicht ab, denn Du hast mich unterwiesen.
I have not declined from thy judgments, because thou hast set me a law.
103 Wie hold ist meinem Gaumen Deine Rede, mehr als Honig meinem Munde.
How sweet are thy words to my palate! more than honey to my mouth.
104 Von Deinen Ordnungen werde ich einsichtsvoll; darum hasse ich jeglichen Pfad der Lüge.
By thy commandments I have had understanding: therefore have I hated every way of iniquity.
105 Dein Wort ist eine Leuchte meinem Fuß, und ein Licht auf meinem Steig.
NUN. Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my paths.
106 Ich habe es geschworen und bestätige es, zu halten die Rechte Deiner Gerechtigkeit.
I have sworn and am determined to keep the judgments of thy justice.
107 Gar sehr bin ich gedemütigt; Jehovah, belebe mich nach Deinem Wort.
I have been humbled, O Lord, exceedingly: quicken thou me according to thy word.
108 Das Freiwillige meines Mundes lasse Dir doch wohlgefallen, o Jehovah, und lehre mich Deine Rechte.
The free offerings of my mouth make acceptable, O Lord: and teach me thy judgments.
109 Meine Seele ist beständig in meinen Händen; und ich vergesse Deines Gesetzes nicht.
My soul is continually in my hands: and I have not forgotten thy law.
110 Die Ungerechten legten Schlingen mir, doch irrte ich nicht ab von Deinen Ordnungen.
Sinners have laid a snare for me: but I have not erred from thy precepts.
111 Deine Zeugnisse sind mir ewiges Erbe; denn sie sind die Freude meines Herzens.
I have purchased thy testimonies for an inheritance for ever: because they are a joy to my heart.
112 Ich neige mein Herz, stets zu tun Deine Satzungen ewiglich.
I have inclined my heart to do thy justifications for ever, for the reward.
113 Ich hasse die Zweifler und liebe Dein Gesetz.
SAMECH. I have hated the unjust: and have loved thy law.
114 Mein Schutz und mein Schild bist Du, ich warte auf Dein Wort.
Thou art my helper and my protector: and in thy word I have greatly hoped.
115 Weichet ab von mir, ihr Bösen; und ich will die Gebote meines Gottes bewahren.
Depart from me, ye malignant: and I will search the commandments of my God.
116 Sei mir zum Anhalt nach Deiner Rede, und ich werde leben und laß mich beschämt nicht werden mit meiner Erwartung.
Uphold me according to thy word, and I shall live: and let me not be confounded in my expectation.
117 Labe Du mich, daß ich gerettet werde und beständig schaue auf Deine Satzungen.
Help me, and I shall be saved: and I will meditate always on thy justifications.
118 Alle trittst Du nieder, die fehlgehen von Deinen Satzungen; denn Lüge ist ihr Trug.
Thou hast despised all them that fall off from thy judgments; for their thought is unjust.
119 Als Schlacken schaffst Du alle Ungerechten im Lande weg, darum liebe ich Deine Zeugnisse.
I have accounted all the sinners of the earth prevaricators: therefore have I loved thy testimonies.
120 Mein Fleisch durchschaudert der Schauer vor Dir, und vor Deinen Gerichten fürchte ich mich.
Pierce thou my flesh with thy fear: for I am afraid of thy judgments.
121 Recht tue ich und Gerechtigkeit. Überlasse mich nicht denen, die mich niederdrükken.
AIN. I have done judgment and justice: give me not up to them that slander me.
122 Sei Bürge für Deinen Knecht zum Guten, daß die Vermessenen mich nicht niederdrücken.
Uphold thy servant unto good: let not the proud calumniate me.
123 Es verzehren sich meine Augen ob Deines Heils, und ob der Rede Deiner Gerechtigkeit.
My eyes have fainted after thy salvation: and for the word of thy justice.
124 Tue mit Deinem Knecht nach Deiner Barmherzigkeit, und lehre mich Deine Satzungen.
Deal with thy servant according to thy mercy: and teach me thy justifications.
125 Dein Knecht bin ich, gib Du mir Einsicht, daß Deine Zeugnisse ich wisse.
I am thy servant: give me understanding that I may know thy testimonies.
126 Zeit ist es zum Tun für Jehovah: sie haben Dein Gesetz zunichte gemacht.
It is time, O Lord, to do: they have dissipated thy law.
127 Darum liebe ich Deine Gebote mehr als Gold, und als feines Gold.
Therefore have I loved thy commandments above gold and the topaz.
128 Darum halte ich als gerade all Deine Ordnungen gänzlich; ich hasse allen Pfad der Lüge.
Therefore was I directed to all thy commandments: I have hated all wicked ways.
129 Deine Zeugnisse sind wunderbar; darum bewahrt meine Seele sie.
PHE. Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore my soul hath sought them.
130 Die Eröffnung Deiner Worte erleuchtet, sie gibt Einsicht den Einfältigen.
The declaration of thy words giveth light: and giveth understanding to little ones.
131 Ich öffne meinen Mund weit und lechze, denn nach Deinen Geboten sehne ich mich.
I opened my mouth and panted: because I longed for thy commandments.
132 Wende Dich zu mir und sei mir gnädig, nach dem Recht gegen die, so Deinen Namen lieben.
Look thou upon me, and have mercy on me, according to the judgment of them that love thy name.
133 Festige meine Tritte durch Deine Rede, und laß nicht irgendein Unrecht in mir walten.
Direct my steps according to thy word: and let no iniquity have dominion over me.
134 Erlöse mich von der Niederdrückung des Menschen, daß ich Deine Ordnungen halte.
Redeem me from the calumnies of men: that I may keep thy commandments.
135 Laß Dein Angesicht leuchten auf Deinen Knecht, und lehre mich Deine Satzungen!
Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: and teach me thy justifications.
136 Bächlein von Wasser rinnen herab von meinen Augen, über die, so nicht halten Dein Gesetz.
My eyes have sent forth springs of water: because they have not kept thy law.
137 Gerecht bist Du, Jehovah, und gerade sind Deine Gerichte.
SADE. Thou art just, O Lord: and thy judgment is right.
138 Gerechtigkeit gebietest Du in Deinen Zeugnissen und gar sehr die Wahrheit.
Thou hast commanded justice thy testimonies: and thy truth exceedingly.
139 Vertilgt hat mich mein Eifer, daß meine Dränger Deiner Worte vergessen haben.
My zeal hath made me pine away: because my enemies forgot thy words.
140 Sehr geläutert ist Deine Rede, und Dein Knecht liebt sie.
Thy word is exceedingly refined: and thy servant hath loved it.
141 Gering bin ich und verachtet, ich vergesse nicht Deiner Ordnungen.
I am very young and despised; but I forgot not thy justifications.
142 Ewiglich ist gerecht Deine Gerechtigkeit, und Wahrheit Dein Gesetz.
Thy justice is justice for ever: and thy law is the truth.
143 Mich haben Drangsal und Angst betroffen; Deine Gebote sind mein Ergötzen.
Trouble and anguish have found me: thy commandments are my (meditation)
144 Gerechtigkeit sind Deine Zeugnisse ewiglich. Gib Einsicht mir, auf daß ich lebe.
Thy testimonies are justice for ever: give me understanding, and I shall live.
145 Von ganzem Herzen rufe ich: Antworte mir, Jehovah! Deine Satzungen will ich wahren.
COPH. I cried with my whole heart, hear me, O Lord: I will seek thy justifications.
146 Ich rufe zu Dir: Rette mich, und ich halte Deine Zeugnisse!
I cried unto thee, save me: that I may keep thy commandments.
147 Früh in der Dämmerung stehe ich auf, und schreie, ich warte auf Deine Worte.
I prevented the dawning of the day, and cried: because in thy words I very much hoped.
148 Es kommen meine Augen den Nachtwachen zuvor, auf daß ich überdenke Deine Rede.
My eyes to thee have prevented the morning: that I might meditate on thy words.
149 Höre meine Stimme nach Deiner Barmherzigkeit, Jehovah, nach Deinem Rechte belebe mich.

I have known from the beginning concerning thy testimonies: that thou hast founded them for ever.
153 Siehe mein Elend und reiße mich heraus; denn Deines Gesetzes habe ich nicht vergessen.

154 Hadere Du meinen Hader und erlöse mich. Belebe mich nach Deiner Rede.
Judge my judgment and redeem me: quicken thou me for thy word’s sake.
155 Fern von den Ungerechten ist das Heil, denn sie fragen nicht nach Deinen Satzungen.
Salvation is far from sinners; because they have not sought thy justifications.
156 Viel sind, Jehovah, Deiner Erbarmungen. Nach Deinen Rechten belebe Du mich.
Many, O Lord, are thy mercies: quicken me according to thy judgment.
157 Viel sind meiner Verfolger und meiner Dränger; ich wende mich nicht ab von Deinen Zeugnissen.
Many are they that persecute me, and afflict me; but I have not declined from thy testimonies.
158 Ich sehe die Treulosen und bin verdrossen, daß sie Deine Rede nicht halten.
I beheld the transgressors, and I pined away; because they kept not thy word.
159 Siehe, wie ich liebe Deine Ordnungen, Jehovah, nach Deiner Barmherzigkeit belebe Du mich.
Behold I have loved thy commandments, O Lord; quicken me thou in thy mercy.
160 Die Summe Deines Wortes ist Wahrheit, und ewig ist alles Gericht Deiner Gerechtigkeit.
The beginning of thy words is truth: all the judgments of thy justice are for ever.
161 Oberste verfolgen mich ohne Ursache; und mein Herz scheut sich vor Deinen Worten.
SIN. Princes have persecuted me without cause: and my heart hath been in awe of thy words.
162 Ich freue mich Deiner Rede, wie einer, der viel Beute findet.
I will rejoice at thy words, as one that hath found great spoil.
163 Ich hasse die Lüge, und sie ist mir zum Greuel, ich liebe Dein Gesetz.
I have hated and abhorred iniquity; but I have loved thy law.
164 Des Tages siebenmal lobe ich Dich wegen der Rechte Deiner Gerechtigkeit.
Seven times a day I have given praise to thee, for the judgments of thy justice.
165 Viel Frieden haben die, so Dein Gesetz lieben, und sie straucheln nicht.
Much peace have they that love thy law, and to them there is no stumbling block.
166 Ich habe Dein Heil erwartet, Jehovah, und getan nach Deinen Geboten.
I looked to thy salvation, O Lord: and I loved thy commandments.
167 Meine Seele hält Deine Zeugnisse, und ich liebe sie sehr.
My soul hath kept thy testimonies: and hath loved them exceedingly.
168 Ich habe Deine Ordnungen und Zeugnisse gehalten; denn alle meine Wege sind vor Dir.
I have kept thy commandments and thy testimonies: because all my ways are in thy sight.
169 Lasse meinen Klageruf Dir sich nahen, Jehovah, gib mir Einsicht nach Deinem Worte.
TAU. Let my supplication, O Lord, come near in thy sight: give me understanding according to thy word.
170 Mein Flehen komme vor Dein Angesicht; errette mich nach Deiner Rede.
Let my request come in before thee; deliver thou me according to thy word.
171 Lasse meine Lippen hervorquellen Lob, denn Du lehrest mich Deine Satzungen.
My lips shall utter a hymn, when thou shalt teach me thy justifications.
172 Meine Zunge antworte Deiner Rede; denn Gerechtigkeit sind alle Deine Gebote.
My tongue shall pronounce thy word: because all thy commandments are justice.
173 Lasse Deine Hand mir zum Beistand sein, denn Deine Ordnungen habe ich erwählt.
Let thy hand be with me to save me; for I have chosen thy precepts.
174 Nach Deinem Heil sehne ich mich, Jehovah, und Dein Gesetz ist mein Ergötzen.
I have longed for thy salvation, O Lord; and thy law is my (meditation)
175 Laß meine Seele leben und Dich loben, und dein Gericht müsse mir beistehen.
My soul shall live and shall praise thee: and thy judgments shall help me.
176 Wie ein verloren Schaf gehe ich in der Irre; suche Deinen Knecht! denn Deiner Gebote habe ich nicht vergessen.
I have gone astray like a sheep that is lost: seek thy servant, because I have not forgotten thy commandments.
