4 Mose 12

1 Und Mirjam und Aharon redeten wider Mose wegen des kuschitischen Weibes, das er nahm; denn er hatte ein kuschitisches Weib genommen;

Afterward Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses, because of the woman of Ethiopia whome hee had maried (for hee had married a woman of Ethiopia)

2 Und sprachen: Redet Jehovah bloß in Mose? Redet Er nicht auch in uns? Und Jehovah hörte es.

And they saide, What? hath the Lord spoken but onely by Moses? hath he not spoken also by vs? and the Lord heard this.

3 Und der Mann Mose war sehr sanftmütig, mehr denn irgendein Mensch auf dem Boden.

(But Moses was a verie meeke man, aboue all the men that were vpon the earth)

4 Und Jehovah sprach plötzlich zu Mose und zu Aharon und zu Mirjam: Gehet hinaus, ihr drei, zu dem Versammlungszelt! Und sie gingen hinaus, sie drei.

And by and by the Lord sayd vnto Moses, and vnto Aaron, and vnto Miriam, come out yee three vnto the Tabernacle of the Congregation: and they three came forth.

5 Und Jehovah kam in einer Wolkensäule herab und stand am Eingang des Zeltes und rief Aharon und Mirjam und sie kamen beide heraus.

Then the Lord came downe in the pillar of the cloude, and stoode in the doore of the Tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam, and they both came forth.

6 Und Er sprach: Höret nun Meine Worte: Wenn ein Prophet Jehovahs bei euch ist, so tue Ich Mich ihm kund im Gesichte; im Traume rede Ich in ihm.

And hee saide, Heare nowe my wordes, If there be a Prophet of the Lord among you, I will be knowen to him by a vision, and will speake vnto him by dreame.

7 Nicht so mit Meinem Knechte Mose. In Meinem ganzen Hause ist er Mir treu.

My seruant Moses is not so, who is faithfull in all mine house.

8 Mund zu Mund rede Ich in ihm und im Gesicht, und nicht in Rätseln. Und das Abbild Jehovahs erblickt er. Und warum habt ihr euch nicht gefürchtet, wider Meinen Knecht, wider Mose zu reden?

Vnto him will I speake mouth to mouth, and by vision, and not in darke wordes, but hee shall see the similitude of the Lord. Wherefore then were ye not afraid to speake against my seruant, euen against Moses?

9 Und es entbrannte der Zorn Jehovahs wider sie, und Er ging weg.

Thus the Lord was very angrie with them, and departed.

10 Und die Wolke wich von dem Zelt weg, und siehe, Mirjam ward aussätzig wie der Schnee. Und Aharon wandte sich zu Mirjam, und siehe, sie war aussätzig.

Also the cloude departed from the Tabernacle: and beholde, Miriam was leprous like snowe: and Aaron looked vpon Miriam, and beholde, she was leprous.

11 Und Aharon sprach zu Mose: Ach, Herr, lege doch die Sünde nicht auf uns, worin wir zu Toren und worin wir zu Sündern geworden.

Then Aaron saide vnto Moses, Alas, my Lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sinne vpon vs, which we haue foolishly committed and wherein we haue sinned.

12 Laß sie doch nicht sein, wie der Tote, der aus seiner Mutter Schoß ausgeht, und dessen Fleisch schon halb zerfressen ist.

Let her not, I pray thee, be as one dead, of whome the flesh is halfe consumed, when he commeth out of his mothers wombe.

13 Und Mose schrie zu Jehovah und sprach: Ach Gott, heile sie doch!

Then Moses cryed vnto the Lord, saying, O God, I beseech thee, heale her nowe.

14 Und Jehovah sprach zu Mose: Und hätte ihr Vater ihr ins Gesicht gespuckt, sollte sie nicht darob sieben Tage Schande fühlen? Man schließe sie sieben Tage außerhalb des Lagers ein, und danach nehme man sie auf.

And the Lord said vnto Moses, If her father had spit in her face, shoulde she not haue bene ashamed seuen dayes? let her be shut out of the hoste seuen dayes, and after she shall bee receiued.

15 Und Mirjam wurde sieben Tage au-ßerhalb des Lagers eingeschlossen, und das Volk brach nicht auf, bis Mirjam aufgenommen ward.

So Miriam was shut out of the hoste seuen dayes, and the people remooued not, till Miriam was brought in againe.

16 Und danach brach das Volk auf von Chazeroth und sie lagerten in der Wüste Paran.

Then afterwarde the people remooued from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wildernesse of Paran.
