Mica 1
1 Das Wort Jehovahs, das geschah an Michah, den Moraschthiter, in den Tagen Jothams, Achas, Jechiskijahs, der Könige von Judah, das er schaute über Schomron und Jerusalem.
And the word of the Lord came to Michaeas the son of Morasthi, in the days of Joatham, and Achaz, and Ezekias, kings of Juda, concerning what he saw regarding Samaria and Jerusalem.
2 Höret, ihr Völker allzumal, horche, o Erde und ihre Fülle; und zum Zeugen sei wider euch der Herr Jehovah, der Herr aus dem Tempel Seiner Heiligkeit.
Hear [these] words, ye people; and let the earth give heed, and all that are in it: and the Lord God shall be among you for a testimony, the Lord out of his holy habitation.
3 Denn siehe, Jehovah geht aus von Seinem Ort und steigt herab und tritt auf der Erde Höhen;
For, behold, the Lord comes forth out of his place, and will come down, and will go upon the high places of the earth.
4 Daß unter Ihm die Berge schmelzen und Talgründe sich spalten, wie Wachs vor dem Feuer, wie Wasser, das man auf den Abhang hingießt.
And the mountains shall be shaken under him, and the valleys shall melt like wax before the fire, and as water rushing down a declivity.
5 Wegen Jakobs Übertretung ist alles dies und wegen der Sünden des Hauses Israel. Was ist die Übertretung Jakobs? Ist es nicht Schomron? Und was Jehudahs Opferhöhen? Ist es nicht Jerusalem?
All these [calamities are] for the transgression of Jacob, and for the sin of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? [is it] not Samaria? and what is the sin of the house of Juda? [is it] not Jerusalem?
6 Und zum Trümmerhaufen auf dem Felde mache Ich Schomron, zu Pflanzungen eines Weinbergs, und gieße seine Steine in die Schlucht hin, und decke seine Grundfesten auf.
Therefore I will make Samaria [as] a store-house of the fruits of the field, and [as] a planting of a vineyard: and I will utterly demolish her stones, and I will expose her foundations.
7 Zerstoßen werden alle ihre Schnitzbilder, und verbrannt im Feuer alle ihre Buhlgaben, und alle ihre Götzenbilder setze Ich in Verwüstung, denn von der Buhlgabe einer Buhlerin hat sie es zusammengebracht, und zu den Buhlgaben einer Buhlerin kehren sie zurück.
And they shall cut in pieces all the graven images, and all that she has hired they shall burn with fire, and I will utterly destroy all her idols: because she has gathered of the hires of fornication, and of the hires of fornication has she amassed [wealth].
8 Darüber klage und heule ich, gehe ausgebeutet und nackt daher, mache eine Klage wie die Drachen, und trauere wie die jungen Eulen.
Therefore shall she lament and wail, she shall go barefooted, and [being] naked she shall make lamentation as [that] of serpents, and mourning as of the daughters of sirens.
9 Denn verzweifelt sind ihre Schläge, denn bis Jehudah kommt er, berührt Meines Volkes Tor bis an Jerusalem.
For her plague has become grievous; for it has come even to Juda; and has reached to the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
10 In Gath sagt es nicht an mit Weinen, weint nicht im Hause Aphras! Wälze dich umher im Staube!
Ye that are in Geth, exalt not yourselves, and ye Enakim, do not rebuild from [the ruins of] the house in derision: sprinkle dust [in the place of] your laughter.
11 Ziehet für euch hinüber, Einwohnerschaft Schaphirs, entblößt mit Scham. Nicht komm heraus, die du in Zaanan wohnest. Die Klage von Beth-Haezel nehme ihren Stand von euch.
The inhabitant of Sennaar, fairly inhabiting her cities, came not forth to mourn for the house next to her: she shall receive of you the stroke of grief.
12 Denn die Bewohnerin von Maroth wartet auf Gutes; denn von Jehovah kam Böses herab bis an das Tor von Jerusalem.
Who has begun [to act] for good to her that dwells in sorrow? for calamities have come down from the Lord upon the gates of Jerusalem,
13 Schirre den Renner an den Streitwagen, Bewohnerin von Lachisch, Anfängerin der Sünde ist sie für Zijons Tochter; denn in dir fanden sich die Übertretungen Israels.
[even] a sound of chariots and horsemen: the inhabitants of Lachis, she is the leader of sin to the daughter of Sion: for in thee were found the transgressions of Israel.
14 Darum tue Verzicht auf den Erbbesitz Gaths; die Häuser Achsibs sind eine Täuschung für Israels Könige.
Therefore shall he cause men to be sent forth as far as the inheritance of Geth, [even] vain houses; they are become vanity to the kings of Israel;
15 Noch bringe Ich dir den Erbbesitzer herein, Mareschahs Wohnerschaft. Bis Adul- lam wird kommen Israels Herrlichkeit.
until they bring the heirs, O inhabitant of Lachis: the inheritance shall reach to Odollam, [even] the glory of the daughter of Israel.
16 Mache dich kahl und schere dich ob den Söhnen deiner Wonne; mache deine Kahlheit breit, wie der Adler; denn sie sind von dir weggeführt.
Shave thine hair, and make thyself bald for thy delicate children; increase thy widowhood as an eagle; for [thy people] are gone into captivity from thee.
