Jesaja 54

1 Juble, du Unfruchtbare; die du nicht geboren hast, brich aus in Jubelsang! Laß ertönen, die du nicht gekreißt; denn mehr sind der Söhne der Verwüsteten, denn der Söhne der Vermählten, spricht Jehovah.

Rejoice, you barren that bear not; break forth and cry, you that do not travail: for more are the children of the desolate than of her that has a husband: for the Lord has said,

2 Erweitere den Ort deines Zeltes, laß ausspannen die Vorhänge deiner Wohnungen, halte nicht zurück, mache deine Seile lang und dein Pflöcke fest.

Enlarge the place of your tent, and of your curtains: fix [the pins], spare not, lengthen your cords, and strengthen your pins;

3 Denn zur Rechten und zur Linken wirst du hervorbrechen, und Völkerschaften wird dein Same als Erbe besitzen, und verwüstete Städte werden sie bewohnen.

spread forth [your tent] yet to the right and the left: for your seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and you shall make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

4 Fürchte dich nicht, denn du wirst nicht beschämt. Und sei nicht verschämt, denn du wirst nicht erröten, denn deiner Jugendzeit Schande wirst du vergessen, und der Schmach deiner Witwenschaft nicht mehr gedenken.

Fear not, because you has been put to shame, neither be confounded, because you was reproached: for you shall forget your former shame, and shall no more at all remember the reproach of your widowhood.

5 Denn dein Gemahl ist es, Der dich gemacht, Jehovah der Heerscharen ist Sein Name; und dein Erlöser, der Heilige Israels, der Gott der ganzen Erde wird Er genannt.

For [it is] the Lord that made you; the Lord of hosts is his name: and he that delivered you, he is the God of Israel, [and] shall be called [so] by the whole earth.

6 Denn wie ein Weib, verlassen und kummervollen Geistes hat dich Jehovah gerufen und der Jugend Weib; als sie verschmäht war, sprach dein Gott:

The Lord has not called you as a deserted and faint-hearted woman, nor as a woman hated from [her] youth, says your God.

7 Ich habe einen kleinen Augenblick dich verlassen, und mit großen Erbarmungen bringe Ich dich wieder zu Mir.

For a little while I left you: but with great mercy will I have compassion upon you.

8 In der Entrüstung Überflutung verbarg Ich Mein Angesicht einen Augenblick vor dir, aber mit ewiger Barmherzigkeit erbarme Ich Mich deiner, spricht dein Erlöser, Jehovah.

In a little wrath I turned away my face from you; but with everlasting mercy will I have compassion upon you, says the Lord that delivers you.

9 Denn dies sind Mir die Wasser Noachs, da Ich schwur, daß Noachs Wasser nicht mehr über die Erde übergehen sollten; so schwöre Ich, daß Ich wider dich nicht mehr entrüstet sein, noch dir drohen will.

From the time of the water of Noe this is my [purpose]: as I sware to him at that time, [saying] of the earth, I will no more be angry with you, neither when you are threatened,

10 Denn Berge mögen weichen und die Hügel wanken, doch Meine Barmherzigkeit soll nicht von dir weichen, und Mein Bund des Friedens nicht wanken, spricht dein Erbarmer, Jehovah.

shall the mountains depart, nor shall your hills be removed: so neither shall my mercy fail you, nor shall the covenant of your peace be at all removed: for the Lord [who is] gracious to you has spoken [it].

11 Du Elende, vom Sturm Umhergeworfene, Trostlose, siehe, Ich laß lagern in Bleiglanz deine Steine, und gründe dich auf Saphire.

Afflicted and outcast you has not been comforted: behold, I [will] prepare carbuncle [for] your stones, and sapphire for your foundations;

12 Und deine Fenster mache Ich von Rubinen, und deine Tore von Karfunkelsteinen, und deine ganze Grenze von Steinen der Lust.

and I will make your buttresses jasper, and your gates crystal, and your border precious stones.

13 Und alle deine Söhne werden von Jehovah gelehrt, und viel ist der Friede deiner Söhne.

And [I will cause] all your sons [to be] taught of God, and your children [to be] in great peace.

14 Gefestigt wirst du in Gerechtigkeit. Halte fern dich von Bedrückung, denn du sollst nicht fürchten, und vom Entsetzen, denn es naht dir nicht.

And you shall be built in righteousness: abstain from injustice, and you shall not fear; and trembling shall not come near you.

15 Siehe, ob sie sich zusammenrotten wider dich, so ist es nicht von Mir. Wer sich zusammenrottet wider dich, soll über dir fallen.

Behold, strangers shall come to you by me, and shall sojourn with you, and shall run to you for refuge.

16 Siehe, Ich schaffe den Werkmann, der das Feuer der Kohle anfacht, und das Gerät hervorbringt für sein Werk; und Ich schaffe den Verderber zum Zerstören.

Behold, I have created you, not as the coppersmith blowing coals, and bringing out a vessel [fit] for work; but I have created you, not for ruin, that [I] should destroy [you].

17 Allem Gerät, so wider dich gebildet wird, soll es nicht gelingen, und jede Zunge, die wider dich sich aufmacht, wirst du verdammen. Dies ist das Erbe der Knechte Jehovahs, und ihre Gerechtigkeit ist von Mir, spricht Jehovah.

I will not suffer any weapon formed against you to prosper; and every voice that shall rise up against you for judgment, you shall vanquish them all; and your adversaries shall be [condemned] thereby. There is an inheritance to them that serve the Lord, and you shall be righteous before me, says the Lord.
