Jesaja 12

1 Und du wirst sprechen an jenem Tage: Ich bekenne Dich, Jehovah, denn Du zürntest mir; Dein Zorn hat sich zurückgewandt, und Du hast mich getröstet.

On that day you will say, “I will give thanks to you, Yahweh. For though you were angry with me, your wrath has turned away, and you have comforted me.

2 Siehe, der Gott meines Heils! Ich will vertrauen und will nicht schaudern, denn meine Stärke und Gesang ist Jah Jehovah, und Er ward mir zum Heil.

See, God is my salvation; I will trust and will not fear, for Yahweh, yes, Yahweh is my strength and song. He has become my salvation.”

3 Und Wasser werdet ihr schöpfen mit Freudigkeit aus dem Brunnquell des Heils;

With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

4 Und werdet sagen an jenem Tag: Bekennet Jehovah, rufet Seinen Namen an! Machet kund unter den Völkern Seine Taten! Laßt gedenken, daß erhaben ist Sein Name!

On that day you will say, “Give thanks to Yahweh and call upon his name; declare his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted.

5 Singt Psalmen dem Jehovah; denn Hohes hat Er getan. Kund ist es auf der ganzen Erde!

Sing to Yahweh, for he has done glorious things; let this be known throughout the earth.

6 Laß es ertönen und juble, Zions Bewohnerin; denn groß in deiner Mitte ist der Heilige Israels.

Cry aloud and shout for joy, you inhabitants of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.”
