1 Und es geschah im vierhundertachtzigsten Jahre nach dem Auszug der Söhne Israels aus dem Lande Ägypten, im vierten Jahre der Regierung Salomohs über Israel, im Monat Siv, das ist der zweite Monat, daß Salomoh baute das Haus dem Jehovah.
And in the foure hundreth and foure score yeere (after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt) and in the fourth yere of the reigne of Salomon ouer Israel, in the moneth Zif, (which is the second moneth) he built the house of the Lord.
2 Und das Haus, das König Salomoh dem Jehovah baute, war sechzig Ellen in seiner Länge und zwanzig Ellen in seiner Breite und dreißig Ellen in seiner Höhe.
And the house which King Salomon built for the Lord, was three score cubites long, and twentie broade, and thirtie cubites hie.
3 Und die Halle vor dem Tempel des Hauses war zwanzig Ellen in seiner Länge vor der Breite des Hauses, zehn Ellen in seiner Breite auf der Vorderseite des Hauses.
And the porch before the Temple of the house was twentie cubites long according to the breadth of the house, and ten cubites broade before the house.
4 Und er machte Fenster an dem Hause, mit Querleisten verschlossen.
And in the house he made windowes, broad without, and narrowe within.
5 Und er baute an der Wand des Hauses ringsumher Stockwerke, daß sie beides, an den Wänden des Hauses ringsumher um den Tempel und den Sprechort liefen, und machte Seitengemächer ringsum.
And by the wall of the house hee made galleries round about, euen by the walles of the house round about the Temple and the oracle, and made chambers round about.
6 Das untere Stockwerk hatte fünf Ellen in seiner Breite und das mittlere sechs Ellen in seiner Breite und das dritte sieben Ellen in seiner Breite; denn er machte Absätze außen am Hause ringsumher, auf daß sie nicht in die Wand des Hauses griffen.
The nethermost gallerie was fiue cubites broade, and the middlemost sixe cubites broade, and the third seuen cubites broade: for he made restes round about without the house, that the beames should not be fastened in the walles of the house.
7 Und da das Haus gebaut wurde, ward es aus ganzen Steinen, wie sie herbeigeführt wurden, gebaut, und es wurden weder Hämmer noch Axt, irgendwelche eiserne Geräte im Hause während des Bauens gehört.
And when the house was built, it was built of stone perfite, before it was brought, so that there was neither hammer, nor axe, nor any toole of yron heard in the house, while it was in building.
8 Der Eingang des mittleren Seitengemaches war auf der rechten Seite des Hauses, und auf Wendeltreppen stiegen sie zu dem mittleren und aus dem mittleren zum dritten.
The doore of the middle chamber was in the right side of the house, and men went vp with winding stayres into the middlemost, and out of the middlemost into the third.
9 Und er baute das Haus und vollendete es, und überdeckte das Haus mit Brettern und Balkenreihen aus Zedern.
So he built the house and finished it, and sieled the house being vawted with sieling of cedar trees.
10 Und er baute das Stockwerk an das ganze Haus, fünf Ellen in seiner Höhe, und es faßte das Haus mit Zederhölzern.
And he built the galleries vpon al the wall of the house of fiue cubites height, and they were ioyned to the house with beames of cedar.
11 Und es geschah das Wort Jehovahs zu Salomoh und sprach:
And the worde of the Lord came to Salomon, saying,
12 Dies ist das Haus, das du bauest: Wenn du wandelst in Meinen Satzungen und nach Meinen Rechten tust, und hältst alle Meine Gebote, daß du danach wandelst, dann werde Ich Mein Wort mit dir bestätigen, das Ich zu David, deinem Vater, geredet habe.
Cocerning this house which thou buildest, if thou wilt walke in mine ordinances, and execute my iudgements, and keepe al my commadements, to walke in them, then will I performe vnto thee my promise, which I promised to Dauid thy father.
13 Und Ich werde wohnen inmitten der Söhne Israels, und Mein Volk Israel nicht verlassen.
And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and wil not forsake my people Israel.
14 Und Salomoh baute das Haus und vollendete es.
So Salomon built the house and finished it,
15 Und er baute die Wände des Hauses inwendig mit Planken von Zedern; von der Flur des Hauses an bis zu den Wänden der Decke überzog er es von innen mit Holz, und überzog auch den Fußboden des Hauses mit Planken von Tannenholz.
And built the walles of the house within, with boards of cedar tree from the pauement of the house vnto the walles of the sieling, and within he couered them with wood, and couered the floore of the house with planks of firre.
16 Und er baute zwanzig Ellen im Hinterteil des Hauses mit Planken von Zedern, von der Flur bis zu den Wänden, und baute daselbst inwendig den Sprechort, zum Allerheiligsten.
And he built twentie cubites in the sides of the house with boards of cedar, from the floore to the walles, and he prepared a place within it for the oracle, euen the most holy place.
17 Und vierzig Ellen war das Haus, das ist der Tempel, nach vorne.
But the house, that is, the Temple before it, was fourtie cubites long.
18 Und die Zedern am Hause waren inwendig eingeschnitten mit Koloquinten und aufbrechenden Blumen; alles war aus Zedern, kein Stein war zu sehen.
And the cedar of the house within was carued with knops, and grauen with floures: all was cedar, so that no stone was seene.
19 Aber den Sprechort inmitten des Hauses bereitete er innen, daß man dort die Lade des Bundes Jehovahs stelle.
Also he prepared the place of the oracle in the mids of the house within, to set the Arke of the couenant of the Lord there.
20 Und vor dem Sprechort, der zwanzig Ellen Länge und zwanzig Ellen Breite und zwanzig Ellen in seiner Höhe hatte, überzog er dasselbe mit gediegenem Golde, und den Altar überzog er mit Zedern.
And the place of the oracle within was twentie cubites long, and twentie cubites broad, and twentie cubites hie, and hee couered it with pure golde, and couered the altar with cedar.
21 Und Salomoh überzog das Haus inwendig mit gediegenem Gold, und zog vor dem Sprechort goldene Ketten und überzog dasselbe mit Gold.
So Salomon couered the house within with pure golde: and he shut the place of the oracle with chaines of gold, and couered it with golde.
22 Und das ganze Haus überzog er mit Gold, das ganze Haus ganz und gar, auch den ganzen Altar bei dem Sprechort überzog er mit Gold.
And he ouerlayde all the house with gold, vntill all the house was made perfite. also he couered the whole altar, that was before the oracle, with golde.
23 Und für den Sprechort machte er zwei Cherube von Ölbaumholz, zehn Ellen in der Höhe.
And within the oracle he made two Cherubims of oliue tree, ten cubites hie.
24 Und fünf Ellen hatte der Flügel des einen Cherubs und fünf Ellen der Flügel des zweiten Cherubs; es waren zehn Ellen vom Ende seiner Flügel bis zum anderen Ende seiner Flügel.
The wing also of the one Cherub was fiue cubites, and the wing of the other Cherub was fiue cubites: from the vttermost part of one of his wings vnto the vttermost part of the other of his wings, were ten cubites.
25 Und zehn Ellen war der zweite Cherub; ein Maß und einerlei Form hatten die zwei Cherube;
Also the other Cherub was of ten cubites: both the Cherubims were of one measure and one sise.
26 Eine Höhe von zehn Ellen hatte der eine Cherub, und so auch der zweite Cherub.
For the height of the one Cherub was ten cubits, and so was the other Cherub.
27 Und die Cherube gab er mitten inwendig in das Haus, und die Flügel der Cherube breiteten sich aus, und der Flügel des einen berührte die eine Wand und der Flügel des zweiten Cherubs berührte die andere Wand, und ihre Flügel nach der Mitte des Hauses berührten sich, Flügel an Flügel.
And he put the Cherubims within the inner house, and the Cherubims stretched out their wings, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other Cherub touched the other wall: and their other wings touched one another in the middes of the house.
28 Und die Cherube überzog er mit Gold.
And he ouerlaied the Cherubims with golde.
29 Und an allen Wänden des Hauses ringsum schnitt er eingeschnittenes Schnitzwerk ein von Cheruben und Palmen und aufbrechenden Blumen, innerhalb und außerhalb;
And he carued all the walles of the house round about with grauen figures of Cherubims and of Palmetrees, and grauen flowres within and without.
30 Und die Flur des Hauses überzog er mit Gold, innerhalb und außerhalb;
And the floore of the house hee couered with golde within and without.
31 Und den Eingang zum Sprechort machte er mit Flügeltüren von Ölbaumholz, den Vorsprung an den Pfosten machte er ein Fünftel.
And in the entring of the oracle he made two doores of oliue tree: and the vpper post and side postes were fiue square.
32 Und die zwei Flügeltüren von Ölbaumholz, und in sie schnitt er ein Schnitzwerk von Cheruben, Palmen und aufbrechenden Blumen, und überzog sie mit Gold, und schlug Gold auf die Cherube und die Palmen.
The two doores also were of oliue tree, and he graued them with grauing of Cherubims and palme trees, and grauen floures, and couered them with golde, and layed thin golde vpon the Cherubims and vpon the palme trees.
33 Und so machte er als Eingang zum Tempel Pfosten von Ölbaumholz aus dem Vierteile.
And so made he for the doore of the Temple, postes of oliue tree foure square.
34 Und zwei Flügeltüren von Tannenholz. Zwei umschlagende Blätter an dem einen Türflügel, und zwei umschlagende Blätter an dem zweiten.
But the two doores were of firre tree, the two sides of the one doore were round, and the two sides of the other doore were round.
35 Und er schnitt Cherube, Palmen und aufbrechende Blumen ein, und überzog sie mit Gold, geschlichtet auf das Eingegrabene.
And he graued Cherubims, and palme trees, and carued floures and couered the carued worke with golde, finely wrought.
36 Und er baute den inneren Vorhof aus drei Reihen behauener Steine und einer Reihe Zedernbalken.
And hee built the court within with three rowes of hewed stone, and one rowe of beames of cedar.
37 Im vierten Jahre im Monde Siv ward das Haus Jehovahs gegründet.
In the fourth yeere was the foundation of the house of the Lord layed in the moneth of Zif:
38 Und im elften Jahre im Monde Bul, das ist der achte Monat, war das Haus vollendet in all seinen Dingen und nach allen seinen Rechten. Und er baute es in sieben Jahren.
And in the eleuenth yeere in the moneth of Bul, (which is the eight moneth) hee finished the house with all the furniture thereof, and in euery point: so was he seuen yeere in building it.
