Hesekiel 28
1 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:
And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
2 Du Menschenkind, sage dem Fürsten zu Tyrus: So spricht der HERR HERR: Darum daß sich dein Herz erhebt und spricht: Ich bin Gott, ich sitze im Thron Gottes, mitten auf dem Meer, so du doch ein Mensch und nicht Gott bist; noch erhebt sich dein Herz als ein Herz Gottes;
Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyre, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thy heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a god, I sit [in] the seat of God, in the heart of the seas, (and thou art a man, and not God, ) and thou settest thy heart as the heart of God:
3 siehe, du hältst dich für klüger denn Daniel, daß dir nichts verborgen sei,
behold, thou art wiser than Daniel! nothing secret is obscure for thee;
4 und habest durch deine Klugheit und Verstand solche Macht zuwegegebracht und Schätze von Gold und Silber gesammelt
by thy wisdom and by thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures;
5 und habest durch deine große Weisheit und Hantierung so große Macht überkommen, davon bist du so stolz worden, daß du so mächtig bist:
by thy great wisdom thou hast by thy traffic increased thy riches, and thy heart is lifted up because of thy riches.
6 darum spricht der HERR HERR also: Weil sich denn dein Herz erhebt als ein Herz Gottes,
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou hast set thy heart as the heart of God,
7 darum siehe, ich will Fremde über dich schicken, nämlich die Tyrannen der Heiden; die sollen ihr Schwert zücken über deine schöne Weisheit und deine große Ehre zuschanden machen.
therefore behold, I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall tarnish thy brightness.
8 Sie sollen dich hinunter in die Grube stoßen, daß du mitten auf dem Meer sterbest, wie die Erschlagenen.
They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of those that are slain in the heart of the seas.
9 Was gilt's, ob du dann vor deinem Totschläger werdest sagen: Ich bin Gott, so du doch nicht Gott, sondern ein Mensch und in deiner Totschläger Hand bist?
Wilt thou then say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and not God, in the hand of him that pierceth thee.
10 Du sollst sterben wie die Unbeschnittenen, von der Hand der Fremden; denn ich hab es geredet, spricht der HERR HERR.
Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised, by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken [it], saith the Lord Jehovah.
11 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:
And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
12 Du Menschenkind, mache eine Wehklage über den König zu Tyrus und sprich von ihm: So spricht der HERR HERR: Du bist ein reinlich Siegel voller Weisheit und aus der Maßen schön.
Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyre, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Thou, who sealest up the measure of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty,
13 Du bist im Lustgarten Gottes und mit allerlei Edelsteinen geschmückt, nämlich mit Sarder, Topaser, Demanten, Türkis, Onyxen, Jaspis, Saphir, Amethyst, Smaragden und Gold. Am Tage, da du geschaffen wurdest, mußten da bereit sein bei dir dein Paukenwerk und Pfeifen.
thou wast in Eden, the garden of God. Every precious stone was thy covering: the sardius, the topaz, and the diamond, the chrysolite, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the carbuncle, and the emerald, and gold. The workmanship of thy tambours and of thy pipes was in thee: in the day that thou wast created were they prepared.
14 Du bist wie ein Cherub, der sich weit ausbreitet und decket; und ich habe dich auf den heiligen Berg Gottes gesetzt, daß du unter den feurigen Steinen wandelst,
Thou wast the anointed covering cherub, and I had set thee [so]: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou didst walk up and down in the midst of stones of fire.
15 und warest ohne Wandel in deinem Tun des Tages, da du geschaffen warest, so lange, bis sich deine Missetat funden hat.
Thou wast perfect in thy ways, from the day that thou wast created, till unrighteousness was found in thee.
16 Denn du bist inwendig voll Frevels worden vor deiner großen Hantierung und hast dich versündiget. Darum will ich dich entheiligen von dem Berge Gottes und will dich ausgebreiteten Cherub aus den feurigen Steinen verstoßen.
By the abundance of thy traffic they filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned; therefore have I cast thee as profane from the mountain of God, and have destroyed thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
17 Und weil sich dein Herz erhebt, daß du so schön bist, und hast dich deine Klugheit lassen betrügen in deiner Pracht, darum will ich dich zu Boden stürzen und ein Schauspiel aus dir machen vor den Königen.
Thy heart was lifted up because of thy beauty; thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I have cast thee to the ground, I have laid thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
18 Denn du hast dein Heiligtum verderbet mit deiner großen Missetat und unrechtem Handel. Darum will ich ein Feuer aus dir angehen lassen, das dich soll verzehren, und will dich zu Asche machen auf der Erde, daß alle Welt zusehen soll.
By the multitude of thine iniquities, by the unrighteousness of thy traffic, thou hast profaned thy sanctuaries: and I have brought forth a fire out of the midst of thee — it hath consumed thee; and I have brought thee to ashes upon the earth, in the sight of all them that behold thee.
19 Alle, die dich kennen unter den Heiden, werden sich über dir entsetzen, daß du so plötzlich bist untergegangen und nimmermehr aufkommen kannst.
All they that know thee among the peoples shall be amazed at thee: thou art become a terror, and thou shalt never be any more.
20 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:
And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
21 Du Menschenkind, richte dein Angesicht wider Zidon und weissage wider sie
Son of man, set thy face towards Zidon, and prophesy against it,
22 und sprich: So spricht der HERR HERR: Siehe, ich will an dich, Zidon, und will an dir Ehre einlegen, daß man erfahren soll, daß ich der HERR bin, wenn ich das Recht über sie gehen lasse und an ihr erzeige, daß ich heilig sei.
and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, Zidon, and I will be glorified in the midst of thee; and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be hallowed in her.
23 Und ich will Pestilenz und Blutvergießen unter sie schicken auf ihren Gassen, und sollen tödlich verwundet drinnen fallen durchs Schwert, welches allenthalben über sie gehen wird; und sollen erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin.
And I will send into her the pestilence, and blood in her streets; and the wounded shall fall in the midst of her, by the sword upon her on every side: and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
24 Und soll forthin allenthalben um das Haus Israel, da ihre Feinde sind, kein Dorn, der da sticht, noch Stachel, der da weh tut, bleiben, daß sie erfahren sollen, daß ich der HERR HERR bin.
And there shall be no more a wounding sting for the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn, among all that were round about them, that despised them: and they shall know that I [am] the Lord Jehovah.
25 So spricht der HERR HERR: Wenn ich das Haus Israel wieder versammeln werde von den Völkern, dahin sie zerstreuet sind, so will ich vor den Heiden an ihnen erzeigen, daß ich heilig bin. Und sie sollen wohnen in ihrem Lande, das ich meinem Knechte Jakob gegeben habe;
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and shall be hallowed in them in the sight of the nations, then shall they dwell in their land which I have given to my servant Jacob.
26 und sollen sicher darin wohnen und Häuser bauen und Weinberge pflanzen; ja, sicher sollen sie wohnen, wenn ich das Recht gehen lasse über alle ihre Feinde um und um; und sollen erfahren, daß ich der HERR, ihr Gott, bin.
They shall dwell in it in safety, and shall build houses and plant vineyards; and they shall dwell in safety, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despised them round about them: and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah their God.
