1 Chronik 27

1 Die Kinder Israel aber nach ihrer Zahl waren Häupter der Väter und über tausend und über hundert und Amtleute, die auf den König warteten, nach ihrer Ordnung, ab und zuzuziehen, einen jeglichen Monden einer, in allen Monden des Jahrs. Eine jegliche Ordnung aber hatte vierundzwanzigtausend.

Now the number of the children of Israel, that is, the heads of families, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and the men in authority who were servants of the king in anything to do with the divisions which came in and went out month by month through all the months of the year, in every division were twenty-four thousand.

2 Über die erste Ordnung des ersten Monden war Jasabeam, der Sohn Abdiels; und unter seiner Ordnung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.

Over the first division for the first month was Ishbaal, the son of Zabdiel; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.

3 Aus den Kindern aber Perez war der Oberste über alle Hauptleute der Heere im ersten Monden.

He was of the sons of Perez, and the chief of all the captains of the army for the first month.

4 Über die Ordnung des andern Monden war Dodai, der Ahohiter, und Mikloth war Fürst über seine Ordnung; und unter seiner Ordnung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.

And over the division for the second month was Eleazar, the son of Dodai the Ahohite, the ruler; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.

5 Der dritte Feldhauptmann des dritten Monden, der Oberste war Benaja, der Sohn Jojadas, des Priesters; und unter seiner Ordnung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.

The third captain of the army for the third month was Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the priest; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.

6 Das ist der Benaja, der Held unter dreißigen und über dreißig; und seine Ordnung war unter seinem Sohn Ammisabad.

This is the same Benaiah who was the great man of the thirty, chief of the thirty; and in his division was Ammizabad his son.

7 Der vierte im vierten Monden war Asahel, Joabs Bruder, und nach ihm Sabadja, sein Sohn; und unter seiner Ordnung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.

The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel, the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.

8 Der fünfte im fünften Monden war Samehuth, der Jesrahiter; und unter seiner Ordnung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.

The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.

9 Der sechste im sechsten Monden war Ira, der Sohn Ikes, der Thekoiter; und unter seiner Ordnung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.

The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira, the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.

10 Der siebente im siebenten Monden war Helez, der Peloniter, aus den Kindern Ephraim; und unter seiner Ordnung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.

The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the sons of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.

11 Der achte im achten Monden war Sibechai, der Husathiter, aus den Sarehitern; und unter seiner Ordnung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.

The eighth captain for the eighth month was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahites; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.

12 Der neunte im neunten Monden war Abieser, der Anthothiter, aus den Kindern Jemini; und unter seiner Ordnung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.

The ninth captain for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anathothite, of the Benjamites; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.

13 Der zehnte im zehnten Monden war Maherai, der Netophathiter, aus den Serahitern; und unter seiner Ordnung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.

The tenth captain for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zerahites; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.

14 Der elfte im elften Monden war Benaja, der Pirgathoniter, aus den Kindern Ephraim; und unter seiner Ordnung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.

The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the sons of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.

15 Der zwölfte im zwölften Monden war Heldai, der Netophathiter, aus Athniel; und unter seiner Ordnung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.

The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.

16 Über die Stämme Israels aber waren diese: Unter den Rubenitern war Fürst Elieser, der Sohn Sichris. Unter den Simeonitern war Sephatja, der Sohn Maechas.

And over the tribes of Israel: the ruler of the Reubenites was Eliezer, the son of Zichri; of the Simeonites, Shephatiah, the son of Maacah;

17 Unter den Leviten war Hasabja, der Sohn Kemuels. Unter den Aaronitern war Zadok.

Of Levi, Hashabiah, the son of Kemuel; of Aaron, Zadok;

18 Unter Juda war Elihu aus den Brüdern Davids. Unter Isaschar war Amri, der Sohn Michaels.

Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brothers of David; of Issachar, Omri, the son of Michael;

19 Unter Sebulon war Jesmaja, der Sohn Obadjas. Unter Naphthali war Jerimoth, der Sohn Asriels.

Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah, the son of Obadiah; of Naphtali, Jerimoth, the son of Azriel;

20 Unter den Kindern Ephraim war Hosea, der Sohn Asasjas. Unter dem halben Stamm Manasse war Joel, der Sohn Pedajas.

Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea, the son of Azaziah; of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Joel, the son of Pedaiah;

21 Unter dem halben Stamm Manasse in Gilead war Iddo, der Sohn Sacharjas. Unter Benjamin war Jaesiel, der Sohn Abners.

Of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo, the son of Zechariah; of Benjamin, Jaasiel, the son of Abner;

22 Unter Dan war Asareel, der Sohn Jerohams. Das sind die Fürsten der Stämme Israels.

Of Dan, Azarel, the son of Jeroham. These were the captains of the tribes of Israel.

23 Aber David nahm die Zahl nicht derer, die von zwanzig Jahren und drunter waren; denn der HERR hatte geredet, Israel zu mehren wie die Sterne am Himmel.

But David did not take the number of those who were under twenty years old, for the Lord had said that he would make Israel like the stars of heaven in number.

24 Joab aber, der Sohn Zerujas, der hatte angefangen zu zählen, und vollendete es nicht, denn es kam darum ein Zorn über Israel; darum kam die Zahl nicht in die Chronik des Königs David.

The numbering was started by Joab, the son of Zeruiah, but he did not go on to the end; and because of it, wrath came on Israel and the number was not recorded in the history of King David.

25 Über den Schatz des Königs war Asmaveth, der Sohn Adiels; und über die Schätze auf dem Lande in Städten Dörfern und Schlössern war Jonathan, der Sohn Usias.

And Azmaveth, the son of Adiel, was controller of the king's property; Jonathan, the son of Uzziah, had control of all store-houses in country places and in the towns and little towns and strong places;

26 Über die Ackerleute, das Land zu bauen, war Esri, der Sohn Chelubs.

Ezri, the son of Chelub, had authority over the field-workers and farmers;

27 Über die Weinberge war Simei, der Ramathiter. Über die Weinkeller und Schätze des Weins war Sabdi, der Siphimiter.

Shimei the Ramathite was responsible for the vine-gardens; Zabdi the Shiphmite was responsible for the produce of the vine-gardens and for all the stores of wine;

28 Über die Ölgärten und Maulbeerbäume in den Auen war Baal-Hanan, der Gaderiter. Über den Ölschatz war Joas.

Baal-hanan the Gederite was responsible for the olive-trees and the sycamore-trees in the lowlands; and Joash for the stores of oil;

29 Über die Weiderinder zu Saron war Sitrai, der Saroniter. Aber über die Rinder in Gründen war Saphat, der Sohn Adlais.

And Shitrai the Sharonite was responsible for the herds in the grass-lands of Sharon, and Shaphat, the son of Adlai, for those in the valleys;

30 Über die Kamele war Obil, der Ismaeliter. Über die Esel war Jehedja, der Meronothiter.

Obil the Ishmaelite had control of the camels and Jehdeiah the Meronothite of the she-asses;

31 Über die Schafe war Jasis, der Hagariter. Diese waren alle Oberste über die Güter des Königs David.

The flocks were in the care of Jaziz the Hagarite. All these were the controllers of King David's property.

32 Jonathan aber, Davids Vetter, war der Rat und Hofmeister und Kanzler. Und Jehiel, der Sohn Hachmonis, war bei den Kindern des Königs.

Now Jonathan, David's father's brother, expert in discussion, and a man of good sense, was a scribe; and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni, had the care of the king's sons;

33 Ahitophel war auch Rat des Königs. Husai, der Arachiter, war des Königs Freund.

And Ahithophel was the king's expert in discussion and Hushai the Archite was the king's friend.

34 Nach Ahitophel war Jojada, der Sohn Benajas, und Abjathar. Joab aber war Feldhauptmann des Königs.

After Ahithophel was Jehoiada, the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar; and the captain of the king's army was Joab.
