1 Chronik 16
1 Und da sie die Lade Gottes hineinbrachten, setzten sie sie in die Hütte, die ihr David aufgerichtet hatte, und opferten Brandopfer und Dankopfer vor Gott.
They brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had set up for it: and they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God.
2 Und da David die Brandopfer und Dankopfer ausgerichtet hatte, segnete er das Volk im Namen des HERRN.
When David had made an end of offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of YHWH.
3 Und teilete aus jedermann in Israel, beide Männern und Weibern, ein Laib Brots und ein Stück Fleisches und ein Nößel Weins.
He dealt to everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a portion of meat, and a cake of raisins.
4 Und er stellete vor die Lade des HERRN etliche Leviten zu Dienern, daß sie preiseten, danketen und lobeten den HERRN, den Gott Israels:
He appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of YHWH, and to celebrate and to thank and praise YHWH, the God of Israel:
5 nämlich Assaph, den ersten; Sacharja, den andern; Jeiel, Semiramoth, Jehiel, Mathithja, Eliab, Benaja, Obed-Edom und Jeiel mit Psaltern und Harfen; Assaph aber mit hellen Zimbeln;
Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with stringed instruments and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;
6 Benaja aber und Jehasiel, die Priester, mit Trommeten allezeit vor der Lade des Bundes Gottes.
and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.
7 Zu der Zeit bestellete David zum ersten, dem HERRN zu danken, durch Assaph und seine Brüder:
Then on that day David first ordained to give thanks to YHWH, by the hand of Asaph and his brothers.
8 Danket dem HERRN, prediget seinen Namen, tut kund unter den Völkern sein Tun!
Oh give thanks to YHWH. Call on his name. Make his deeds known among the peoples.
9 Singet, spielet und dichtet ihm von allen seinen Wundern!
Sing to him. Sing praises to him. Tell of all his marvelous works.
10 Rühmet seinen heiligen Namen! Es freue sich das Herz derer, die den HERRN suchen.
Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek YHWH rejoice.
11 Fraget nach dem HERRN und nach seiner Macht; suchet sein Angesicht allezeit!
Seek YHWH and his strength. Seek his face forever more.
12 Gedenket seiner Wunder, die er getan hat, seiner Wunder und seines Worts,
Remember his marvelous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,
13 ihr, der Same Israels, seines Knechts, ihr Kinder Jakobs, seine Auserwählten.
you offspring of Israel his servant, you descendants of Jacob, his chosen ones.
14 Er ist der HERR, unser Gott; er richtet in aller Welt.
He is YHWH our God. His judgments are in all the earth.
15 Gedenket ewiglich seines Bundes, was er verheißen hat in tausend Geschlechter,
Remember his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,
16 den er gemacht hat mit Abraham, und seines Eides mit Isaak;
the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac.
17 und stellete dasselbe Jakob zum Recht und Israel zum ewigen Bunde;
He confirmed the same to Jacob for a statute, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
18 und sprach: Dir will ich das Land Kanaan geben, das Los eures Erbteils,
saying, "I will give you the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance,"
19 da sie wenig und gering waren und Fremdlinge drinnen.
when you were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners were in it.
20 Und sie zogen von einem Volk zum andern und aus einem Königreich zum andern Volk.
They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
21 Er ließ niemand ihnen Schaden tun und strafte Könige um ihretwillen.
He allowed no man to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,
22 Tastet meine Gesalbten nicht an und tut meinen Propheten kein Leid!
"Do not touch my anointed ones. Do my prophets no harm."
23 Singet dem HERRN, alle Lande, verkündiget täglich sein Heil!
Sing to YHWH, all the earth. Display his salvation from day to day.
24 Erzählet unter den Heiden seine HERRLIchkeit und unter den Völkern seine Wunder!
Declare his glory among the nations, and his marvelous works among all the peoples.
25 Denn der HERR ist groß und fast löblich und herrlich über alle Götter.
For great is YHWH, and greatly to be praised. He also is to be feared above all gods.
26 Denn aller Heiden Götter sind Götzen; der HERR aber hat den Himmel gemacht.
For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but YHWH made the heavens.
27 Es stehet herrlich und prächtig vor ihm, und gehet gewaltiglich und fröhlich zu an seinem Ort.
Honor and majesty are before him. Strength and gladness are in his place.
28 Bringet her dem HERRN, ihr Völker, bringet her dem HERRN Ehre und Macht!
Ascribe to YHWH, you relatives of the peoples, ascribe to YHWH glory and strength.
29 Bringet her des HERRN Namen die Ehre; bringet Geschenke und kommt vor ihn und betet den HERRN an in heiligem Schmuck!
Ascribe to YHWH the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come before him. Worship YHWH in holy array.
30 Es fürchte ihn alle Welt! Er hat den Erdboden bereitet, daß er nicht bewegt wird.
Tremble before him, all the earth. The world also is established that it can't be moved.
31 Es freue sich der Himmel, und die Erde sei fröhlich und man sage unter den Heiden, daß der HERR regieret.
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice. Let them say among the nations, "YHWH reigns."
32 Das Meer brause, und was drinnen ist; und das Feld sei fröhlich und alles, was drauf ist.
Let the sea roar, and its fullness. Let the field exult, and all that is in it.
33 Und lasset jauchzen alle Bäume im Walde vor dem HERRN; denn er kommt, zu richten die Erde.
Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy before YHWH, for he comes to judge the earth.
34 Danket dem HERRN; denn er ist freundlich, und seine Güte währet ewiglich.
Oh give thanks to YHWH, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.
35 Und sprechet: Hilf uns, Gott, unser Heiland, und sammle uns und errette uns aus den Heiden, daß wir deinem heiligen Namen danken und dir Lob sagen!
Say, "Save us, God of our salvation. Gather us together and deliver us from the nations, to give thanks to your holy name, to triumph in your praise."
36 Gelobet sei der HERR, der Gott Israels, von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit; und alles Volk sage: Amen! und lobe den HERRN.
Blessed be YHWH, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. And all the people said, "Amen," and praised YHWH.
37 Also ließ er daselbst vor der Lade des Bundes des HERRN Assaph und seine Brüder, zu dienen vor der Lade allezeit, einen jeglichen Tag sein Tagwerk;
So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of YHWH, Asaph and his brothers, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required;
38 aber Obed-Edom und ihre Brüder, achtundsechzig, und Obed-Edom, den Sohn Jedithuns, und Hossa zu Torhütern.
and Obed-Edom with their brothers, sixty-eight; Obed-Edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;
39 Und Zadok, den Priester, und seine Brüder, die Priester, ließ er vor der Wohnung des HERRN auf der Höhe zu Gibeon,
and Zadok the priest, and his brothers the priests, before the tabernacle of YHWH in the high place that was at Gibeon,
40 daß sie dem HERRN täglich Brandopfer täten auf dem Brandopferaltar des Morgens und des Abends, wie geschrieben stehet im Gesetz des HERRN, das er an Israel geboten hat;
to offer burnt offerings to YHWH on the altar of burnt offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the law of YHWH, which he commanded to Israel;
41 und mit ihnen Heman und Jedithun und die andern Erwählten, die mit Namen benannt waren, zu danken dem HERRN, daß seine Güte währet ewiglich;
and with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest who were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to YHWH, because his loving kindness endures forever;
42 und mit ihnen Heman und Jedithun, mit Trommeten und Zimbeln zu klingen und mit Saitenspielen Gottes. Die Kinder aber Jedithuns machte er zu Torhütern.
and with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should sound aloud, and with instruments for the songs of God; and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.
43 Also zog alles Volk hin, ein jeglicher in sein Haus; und David kehrete auch hin, sein Haus zu segnen.
All the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
