5 Mose 24
1 Wenn jemand ein Weib heimführt und sie ehelicht, sie aber dann sein Wohlgefallen nicht erlangt, weil er etwas Widerwärtiges an ihr entdeckt, und er ihr einen Scheidebrief schreibt und einhändigt und sie aus seinem Hause entläßt, -
If a man takith a wijf, and hath hir, and sche fyndith not grace bifor hise iyen for sum vilite, he schal write a `libel, ethir litil book, of forsakyng, and he schal yyue in `the hond of hir, and he schal delyuere hir fro his hows.
2 wenn sie sodann, nachdem sie aus seinem Hause weggezogen ist, weiterhin eines andern Mannes Weib geworden ist,
And whanne sche goith out, and weddith anothir hosebonde,
3 dieser zweite Mann aber, weil er ihr gleichfalls abgeneigt wurde, ihr auch einen Scheidebrief geschrieben und eingehändigt und sie aus seinem Hause entlassen hat -, oder wenn der zweite Mann, der sie als sein Weib heimgeführt hat, gestorben ist:
and he also hatith hir, and yyueth to hir a `litil booke of forsakyng, and delyuereth hir fro his hows, ethir certis he is deed,
4 so kann ihr erster Mann, der sie entlassen hat, sie nicht wiederum heimführen, um sie zum Weibe zu haben, nachdem sie sich hat verunreinigen lassen; denn solches gilt vor Jahwe als ein Greuel, und du sollst das Land, das dir Jahwe, dein Gott, zum Eigentume giebt, nicht mit Sünden beflecken.
the formere hosebonde schal not mow resseyue hir in to wijf, for sche is defoulid, and maad abhomynable bifore the Lord; lest thou make thi lond to do synne, which lond thi Lord God yaf to thee to welde.
5 Wenn einer neuvermählt ist, so braucht er nicht mit dem Heer auszuziehen, und man soll ihm keinerlei Leistung auferlegen; er soll ein Jahr lang frei sein für sein Haus, damit er das Weib, das er heimgeführt hat, erfreue.
Whanne a man hath take late a wijf, he schal not go forth to batel, nethir ony thing of comyn nede schal be enioyned to hym, but he schal yyue tent with out blame to his hows, that he be glad in o yeer with his wijf.
6 Man soll nicht die Handmühle oder auch bloß den oberen MühIstein als Pfand nehmen, denn das hieße, das Leben selbst zum Pfande nehmen.
Thou schalt not take in the stide of wed the lowere and the hiyere queerne stoon of thi brothir, for he puttide his lijf to thee.
7 Wenn einer dabei ertappt wird, daß er einen seiner Volksgenossen, einen Israeliten, raubt und ihn gewaltthätig behandelt oder ihn verkauft, so soll ein solcher Menschendieb sterben. Du sollst das Böse aus deiner Mitte hinwegtilgen.
If a man is takun, `that is, conuyct in doom, bisili aspiynge to stele his brothir of the sones of Israel, and whanne he hath seeld hym, takith priys, he schal be slayn; and thou schalt do awey yuel fro the myddis of thee.
8 Sei auf der Hut vor der Plage des Aussatzes, indem du genau alle die Weisungen beobachtest und befolgst, die euch die levitischen Priester erteilen; nach den Vorschriften, die ich ihnen gegeben habe, sollt ihr sorgfältig verfahren.
Kepe thou diligentli, lest thou renne in to the sijknesse of lepre, but thou schalt do what euer thingis the preestis of the kyn of Leuy techen thee, bi that that Y comaundide to hem, and `fille thou diligentli.
9 Bedenke, was Jahwe, dein Gott, unterwegs, als ihr aus Ägypten wegzogt, Mirjam widerfahren ließ!
Haue ye mynde what thingis youre Lord God dide to Marie, in the weie, whanne ye yede `out of Egipt.
10 Wenn du deinem Nächsten irgend welches Darlehn gewährst, so darfst du nicht in sein Haus hineingehen, um ein Pfand von ihm zu erheben;
Whanne thou schalt axe of thi neiyebore ony thing which he owith to thee, thou schalt not entre in to his hows, that thou take awei a wed;
11 draußen sollst du stehen bleiben, und der, dem du leihst, soll das Pfand zu dir hinausbringen.
but thou schalt stonde with out forth, and he schal brynge forth that that he hath.
12 Und wenn er ein armer Mann ist, sollst du dich nicht mit seinem Pfande schlafen legen.
Sotheli if he is pore, the wed schal not dwelle bi nyyt at thee,
13 Vielmehr sollst du ihm das Pfand bei Sonnenuntergang zurückgeben, damit er sich in seinem Mantel schlafen lege und dich segne; so wirst du vor Jahwe, deinem Gotte, rechtschaffen dastehen.
but anoon thou schalt yelde to hym bifor the goyng doun of the sunne, that he slepe in his cloth, and blesse thee, and thou haue riytfulnesse bifor thi Lord God.
14 Einen armen und bedürftigen Tagelöhner sollst du nicht bedrücken, mag er nun zu deinen Volksgenossen oder zu den Fremdlingen gehören, die sich in deinem Land in deinen Ortschaften bei dir aufhalten.
Thou schalt not denye the hire of thi brother nedi and pore, ethir of the comelyng that dwellith with thee in thi lond, and is with ynne thi yatis;
15 Je am gleichen Tage sollst du ihm seinen Lohn auszahlen, ehe noch die Sonne untergeht, denn er ist arm und verlangt sehnsüchtig darnach; sonst ruft er Jahwe wider dich an, und du bist einer Verfehlung schuldig.
but in the same dai thou schalt yelde to hym the prijs of his trauel, bifor the goyng doun of the sunne, for he is pore, and susteyneth therof his lijf; lest he crye ayens thee to the Lord, and it be arettid to thee into synne.
16 Es sollen nicht Väter um der Kinder willen, noch Kinder um der Väter willen mit dem Tode bestraft werden; ein jeder soll nur wegen seines eigenen Vergehens getötet werden dürfen.
The fadris schulen not be slayn for the sones, nether the sones for the fadris, but ech man schal die for hys owne synne.
17 Du sollst nicht das Recht eines Fremdlings oder einer Waise beugen und nicht das Kleid einer Witwe als Pfand nehmen.
Thou schalt not `peruerte, ethir waiwardli turne, the doom of the comelyng, and of fadirles ethir modirles; nethir thou schalt take awei in the stide of wed the cloth of a widewe.
18 Gedenke daran, daß du in Ägypten Sklave warst, und daß dich Jahwe, dein Gott, von dort befreite; darum gebiete ich dir, so zu handeln.
Haue thou mynde, that thou seruedist in Egipt, and thi Lord God delyuerede thee fro thennus; therfor Y comaunde to thee that thou do this thing.
19 Wenn du auf deinem Felde deine Ernte hältst und eine Garbe auf dem Felde vergissest, so sollst du nicht umkehren, um sie zu holen; den Fremdlingen, Waisen und Witwen soll sie zufallen, auf daß dich Jahwe, dein Gott, bei allem Thun deiner Hände segne.
Whanne thou repist corn in the feeld, and foryetist, and leeuest a repe, thou schalt not turne ayen to take it, but thou schalt suffre that a comelyng, and fadirles, ethir modirles, and a widewe take awei, that thi Lord God blesse thee in al the werk of thin hondis.
20 Wenn du deine Ölbäume abklopfst, sollst du nicht hinterher noch die Zweige absuchen; es soll, was noch daran ist, den Fremdlingen, Waisen und Witwen zufallen.
If thou gaderist fruytis of olyues, what euer thing leeueth in trees, thou schalt not turne ayen to gadere, but thou schalt leeue to a comelyng, fadirles, ether modirles, and to a widewe.
21 Wenn du deinen Weinberg aberntest, sollst du nicht hinterher noch Nachlese halten; es soll, was zurückbleibt, den Fremdlingen, Waisen und Witwen zufaIlen.
If thou gaderist grapis of the vyner, thou schalt not gadere raisyns that leeuen, but tho schulen falle in to the vsis of the comelyng, of the fadirles, ethir modirles, and of the wydewe.
22 Gedenke daran, daß du in Ägypten Sklave warst; darum gebiete ich dir, so zu handeln.
Haue thou mynde that also thou seruedist in Egipt, and therfor Y comaunde to thee, that thou do this thing.
