1 Chronik 28

1 Und David versammelte alle Obersten Israels, die Obersten der Stämme und die Obersten der Abteilungen, die dem Könige dienten, die Anführer der Tausendschaften und die Anführer der Hundertschaften, die Oberbeamten über das gesamte Eigentum und die Herden des Königs und seiner Söhne, samt den Kämmerern und den Gibborim und allen kriegstüchtigen Männern nach Jerusalem.

Therfor Dauid clepide togidere alle the princes of Israel, the duykis of lynagis, and the souereyns of cumpenyes, that `mynystriden to the kyng, also the tribunes, and centuriouns, and hem that weren souereyns ouer the catel and possessiouns of the kyng, and hise sones, with `nurchis, and techeris, and alle the myyti and strongeste men in the oost of Jerusalem.

2 Da erhob sich David von seinem Sitz und sprach: Hört mich an, meine Brüder und mein Volk! Ich hatte im Sinne, für die Lade mit dem Gesetze Jahwes und den Schemel der Füße unseres Gottes eine Ruhestätte zu erbauen, und traf Vorbereitungen für den Bau.

And whanne the kyng hadde rise, and `hadde stonde, he seide, My britheren and my puple, here ye me. Y thouyte for to bilde an hows, wherynne the arke of boond of pees of the Lord, and the stool of the feet of oure God schulde reste; and Y made redi alle thingis to bilde.

3 Gott aber sprach zu mir: Du sollst meinem Namen keinen Tempel erbauen; denn du bist ein Kriegsmann und hast Blut vergossen.

But God seide to me, Thou schalt not bilde an hows to my name, for thou art a man werriour, and hast sched blood.

4 Aber Jahwe, der Gott Israels, erwählte mich aus meiner ganzen Familie, daß ich für immer König über Israel sein sollte. Denn Juda hat er zum Fürsten erwählt und im Stamme Juda meine Familie, und unter den Söhnen meines Vaters beliebte es ihm, mich über ganz Israel zum Könige zu machen.

But the Lord God of Israel chees me of al the hows of my fadir, that Y schulde be kyng on Israel with outen ende; for of Juda he chees princes, sotheli of the hows of Juda he chees the hows of my fadir, and of the sones of my fadir it pleside hym to chese me kyng on al Israel.

5 Und von allen meinen Söhnen - denn Jahwe hat mir viele Söhne geschenkt! - erwählte er meinen Sohn Salomo, daß er auf dem Throne des Königtums Jahwes über Israel sitzen sollte.

But also of my sones, for the Lord yaf to me many sones, he chees Salomon, my sone, that he schulde sitte in the troone of the rewme of the Lord on Israel.

6 Er sprach zu mir: Dein Sohn Salomo - der soll meinen Tempel und meine Vorhöfe erbauen, denn ihn habe ich mir zum Sohn erwählt und ich will ihm Vater sein.

And he seide to me, Salomon, thi sone, schal bilde myn hows, and myn auters; for Y haue chose hym to me in to a sone, and Y schal be to hym in to a fadir;

7 Und ich will sein Königtum für immer bestätigen, wenn er sich im Halten meiner Gebote und Vorschriften fest erzeigen wird, wie es jetzt der Fall ist.

and Y schal make stidefast his rewme til in to with outen ende, if he schal contynue to do myn heestis and domes, as and to dai.

8 Und nun, vor den Augen von ganz Israel, der Gemeinde Jahwes, und vor den Ohren unseres Gottes ermahne ich euch: Richtet euch sorgfältig nach allen Geboten Jahwes, eures Gottes, damit ihr im Besitze dieses schönen Landes bleibt und es für alle Zeiten auf eure Nachkommen vererbt.

Now therfor bifor al the cumpeny of Israel, `Y seie these thingis that suen in the heryng of God, kepe ye and seke ye alle the comaundementis of `youre Lord God, that ye haue in possessioun a good lond, and that ye leeue it to youre sones aftir you til in to with outen ende.

9 Und du, mein Sohn Salomo, erkenne den Gott deines Vaters und diene ihm von ganzem Herzen und mit williger Seele! Denn Jahwe erforscht alle Herzen und kennt alles ihr Dichten und Trachten. Wirst du ihn suchen, so wird er sich von dir finden lassen; wirst du abtrünnig von ihm, so wird er dich für immer verwerfen.

But thou, Salomon, my sone, knowe the God of thi fadir, and serue thou hym with perfit herte, and wilful soule; for the Lord serchith alle hertis, and vndirstondith alle thouytis of soulis; if thou sekist hym, thou schalt fynde hym; forsothe if thou forsakist hym, he schal caste thee awei with outen ende.

10 So siehe nun zu! Denn Jahwe hat dich erwählt, ihm ein Haus zum Heiligtume zu bauen; gehe mutig ans Werk!

Now therfor, for the Lord chees thee, for to bilde the hows of seyntuarie, be thou coumfortid, and parforme.

11 Hierauf übergab David seinem Sohne Salomo den Plan der Vorhalle und der Räume des Tempels, seiner Schatzkammern, seiner Obergemächer, seiner inneren Kammern und des Raumes für die Lade mit der Deckplatte,

Forsothe Dauid yaf to Salomon, his sone, the discryuyng, `ether ensaumple, of the porche, and of the temple, and of celeris, and of the soler, and of closetis in pryuy places, and of the hows of propiciacioun, `that is, of mersi;

12 sowie den Plan von alledem, was er in seinem Sinne hatte: von den Vorhöfen des Tempels Jahwes und allen den Zellen ringsum, den Vorratskammern für den Tempel Gottes und den Vorratskammern für die Weihegaben;

also and of alle thingis whiche he thouyte of the large places, and of chaumbris bi cumpas, in to the tresours of the hows of the Lord, and `in to the tresours of holi thingis,

13 ferner von den Abteilungen der Priester und Leviten, von allen dienstlichen Verichtungen im Tempel Jahwes und von allen Geräten für den Dienst im Tempel Jahwes.

and of the departyngis of preestis and of dekenes, in to alle the werkis of the hows of the Lord, and alle vessels of the seruyce of the temple of the Lord.

14 An Gold übergab er ihm so viel, als je für die Geräte zu den verschiedenen Dienstleistungen erforderlich war; ebenso zu allen silbernen Geräten so viel, als je für die Geräte zu den verschiedenen Dienstleistungen erforderlich war.

Of gold in weiyte bi ech vessel of the seruyce, and of siluer, for dyuersitee of vessels, and of werkis;

15 Ferner den Bedarf für die goldenen Leuchter und die zugehörigen goldenen Lampen, so viel jeder Leuchter mit den zugehörigen Lampen wiegen sollte, und den Bedarf für die silbernen Leuchter, so viel jeder Leuchter und die zugehörigen Lampen wiegen sollte, wie es die Verwendung der verschiedenen Leuchter erforderte.

but also to goldun candilstikis, and to her lanternes, he yaf gold, for the mesure of ech candilstike and lanternes; also and in silueren candilstikis, and in her lanternes, he bitook the weiyte of siluer, for the dyuersite of mesure.

16 Ferner den Goldbedarf für die verschiedenen Tische mit den reihenweise aufgelegten Broten und das Silber für die silbernen Tische,

Also and he yaf gold in to the bord of settyng forth, for the dyuersite of mesure, also and he yaf siluer in to othere siluerne boordis;

17 und die Gabeln, Becken und Kannen von gediegenem Gold, und den Bedarf für die verschiedenen goldenen Becher, sowie den Bedarf für die verschiedenen silbernen Becher.

also to fleisch hookis, and viols, and censeris of pureste gold; and to litle goldun lyouns, for the maner of mesure, he departide a weiyte in to a litil lyoun and a litil lioun; also and in to siluerne liouns he departide dyuerse weiyte of siluer.

18 Ferner den Bedarf an geläutertem Gold für den Räucheraltar und das Modell des Gefährts, der goldenen Kerube, die ihre Flügel ausbreiteten und die Lade mit dem Gesetze Jahwes überdeckten.

Forsothe he yaf pureste gold to the auter, wherynne encense was brent, that a lickenesse of the cart of cherubyns, holdinge forth wyngis, and hilynge the arke of boond of pees of the Lord, schulde be maad therof.

19 “Das alles ist verzeichnet in einer Schrift von der Hand Jahwes; er hat mich über alle Arbeiten zur Ausführung des Plans unterwiesen.”

Dauid seide, Alle thingis camen writun bi the hond of the Lord to me, that Y schulde vndirstonde alle the werkis of the saumpler.

20 Sodann sprach David zu seinem Sohne Salomo: Sei mutig und stark und gehe ans Werk! Sei getrost und laß dich nicht erschrecken; den Gott Jahwe, mein Gott, wird mit dir sein. Er wird dich nicht loslassen und dich nicht im Stiche lassen, bis alle Arbeiten für den Dienst am Tempel Jahwes vollendet sind.

And Dauid seide to Salomon, his sone, Do thou manli, and be thou coumfortid, and make; drede thou not `with outforth, nether drede thou `with ynne; for `my Lord God schal be with thee, and he schal not leeue thee, nether schal forsake thee, til thou performe al the werk of the seruyce of the hows of the Lord.

21 Schon sind hier die Abteilungen der Priester und Leviten für den gesamten Dienst am Tempel Gottes bereit, und bei jedem Geschäfte hast du allerlei Leute zur Verfügung, die mit ihrer Kunstfertigkeit zu jeglicher Verrichtung willig sind, und ebenso stehen dir die Obersten und das ganze Volk immerdar zu Befehl.

Lo! the departyngis of prestis and of dekenes, in to al the werk of the seruyce of the hows of the Lord, schulen stonde niy thee; and thei ben redi, and bothe the princes and the puple kunnen do alle thi comaundementis.
