Sacharja 3

1 Er ließ mich Josue, den Hohenpriester, sehen, wie dieser vor des Herren Engel stand und wie der Satan sich an seine Rechte stellte, ihn anzuklagen.

and to see: see me [obj] Joshua [the] priest [the] great: large to stand: stand to/for face: before messenger: angel LORD and [the] Satan to stand: stand upon right his to/for to oppose him

2 Da sprach des Herren Engel so zu Satan: "Der Herr bedrohe dich, du Satan! Der Herr bedrohe dich, er, der Jerusalem sich wieder auserwählt Ist dieser nicht ein Scheit, dem Brand entrissen?"

and to say LORD to(wards) [the] Satan to rebuke LORD in/on/with you [the] Satan and to rebuke LORD in/on/with you [the] to choose in/on/with Jerusalem not this firebrand to rescue from fire

3 Und Josue war angetan mit Kleidern voller Schmutz; so stand er vor dem Engel da.

4 Da hob er an und sprach zu denen, die vor ihm standen: "Zieht ihm die schmutzbedeckten Kleideraus!" Dann sagte er zu ihm: "Ich nehme dir die Schuld hinweg und hülle dich in Festgewänder."

5 Dann sprach er noch: "Man setze seinem Haupte einen reinen Bund auf!" Da setzten sie ihm einen reinen Kopfbund auf und hüllten ihn in andre Kleider; dann setzte ihn des Herren Engel wieder ein.

6 Des Herren Engel gab dabei dem Josue ein feierlich Versprechen.

7 So spricht der Herr der Heerscharen: "Wenn du auf meinen Wegen gehst und meine Ordnungen befolgst, dann darfst du der Verwalter meines Hauses sein und über meine Vorhöfe die Aufsicht führen; dann laß ich dich zu denen gehen, die hier stehen.

8 Vernimm es, Hoherpriester Josue: Du und auch deine Freunde, die ihre Sitze vor dir haben, ihr selber seid ein Vorzeichen, daß ich herführe meinen Knecht, den Sproß.

9 Und auf dem Steine, den ich Josue aufgelegt, auf diesem e i n e m Stein sind sieben Felder; ich lasse eine Inschrift drauf eingraben:" Ein Spruch des Herrn der Heerscharen. "An einem Tag vergebe ich dem Lande seine Schuld.

10 An jenem Tag", ein Spruch des Herrn der Heerscharen, "da ladet ihr einander unter Feigenbaum und Weinstock ein."
