Offenbarung 7

1 Alsdann sah ich vier Engel, die an den vier Ecken der Erde standen; sie hielten die vier Winde der Erde fest, damit nicht ein Wind hinwehe, weder auf die Erde noch auf das Meer noch über einen Baum.

And after these things I saw four messengers, standing upon the four corners of the land, holding the four winds of the land, that the wind may not blow upon the land, nor upon the sea, nor upon any tree;

2 Dann sah ich einen anderen Engel; von Sonnenaufgang stieg er auf, er hielt das Siegel des lebendigen Gottes und rief mit lauter Stimme den vier Engeln zu, die die Gewalt besaßen, die Erde und das Meer zu schädigen:

and I saw another messenger going up from the rising of the sun, having a seal of the living God, and he did cry with a great voice to the four messengers, to whom it was given to injure the land and the sea, saying,

3 "Schädigt nicht die Erde noch das Meer und nicht die Bäume, bis wir die Knechte unseres Gottes auf ihrer Stirne versiegelt haben."

'Do not injure the land, nor the sea, nor the trees, till we may seal the servants of our God upon their foreheads.'

4 Ich hörte auch die Zahl der so Versiegelten: Einhundertvierundvierzigtausend Versiegelte aus allen Stämmen Israels:

And I heard the number of those sealed, (one hundred and forty four thousands were sealed out of all the tribes of the sons of Israel):

5 Aus dem Stamme Juda: zwölftausend Versiegelte, aus dem Stamme Ruben: zwölftausend, aus dem Stamme Gad: zwölftausend,

of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand were sealed;

6 aus dem Stamme Aser: zwölftausend, aus dem Stamme Nephtali: zwölftausend, aus dem Stamme Manasse: zwölftausend

of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand were sealed;

7 und aus dem Stamme Simeon: zwölftausend, aus dem Stamme Levi: zwölftausend, aus dem Stamme Issachar: zwölftausend,

of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand were sealed;

8 aus dem Stamme Zabulon: zwölftausend, aus dem Stamme Joseph: zwölftausend, aus dem Stamme Benjamin: zwölftausend Versiegelte.

of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed.

9 Dann hatte ich ein Gesicht: Siehe, eine große Schar, die niemand zählen konnte, aus jedem Volk und allen Geschlechtern, aus allen Stämmen und Sprachen. Sie standen vor dem Thron und vor dem Lamme, mit weißen Kleidern angetan und Palmen in den Händen.

After these things I saw, and lo, a great multitude, which to number no one was able, out of all nations, and tribes, and peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, arrayed in white robes, and palms in their hands,

10 Mit lauter Stimme riefen sie: "Heil unserem Gott, der auf dem Throne sitzt, und dem Lamme!"

and crying with a great voice, saying, 'The salvation [is] to Him who is sitting upon the throne — to our God, and to the Lamb!'

11 Die Engel alle standen rund um den Thron und um die Ältesten und die vier Lebewesen. Sie fielen vor dem Thron auf ihr Antlitz nieder; sie beteten Gott an

And all the messengers stood around the throne, and the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell upon their face, and bowed before God,

12 und sprachen: "Amen. Lob, Preis, Weisheit, Dank, Ehre, Macht und Stärke gebühren unserem Gott von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeiten. Amen." (aiōn g165)

saying, 'Amen! the blessing, and the glory, and the wisdom, and the thanksgiving, and the honour, and the power, and the strength, [are] to our God — to the ages of the ages! Amen!' (aiōn g165)

13 Darauf nahm einer von den Ältesten das Wort und sprach zu mir: "Die da bekleidet sind mit weißen Kleidern, wer sind sie, und woher kommen Sie?"

And answer did one of the elders, saying to me, 'These, who have been arrayed with the white robes — who are they, and whence came they?'

14 Ich erwiderte ihm: "Herr, das weißt nur du!" Er sprach zu mir: "Das sind die, die aus der großen Trübsal kommen und ihre Kleider im Blute des Lammes weißgewaschen und gereinigt haben.

and I have said to him, 'Sir, thou hast known;' and he said to me, 'These are those who are coming out of the great tribulation, and they did wash their robes, and they made their robes white in the blood of the Lamb;

15 Darum stehen sie vor dem Throne Gottes und dienen ihm in seinem Tempel Tag und Nacht. Der auf dem Throne sitzt, wird unter ihnen sein Zelt aufschlagen.

because of this are they before the throne of God, and they do service to Him day and night in His sanctuary, and He who is sitting upon the throne shall tabernacle over them;

16 Und sie werden nicht mehr hungern noch dürsten, noch wird die Sonne auf sie fallen, noch irgendwelche Glut.

they shall not hunger any more, nor may the sun fall upon them, nor any heat,

17 Das Lamm, das mitten auf dem Throne steht, weidet sie und führt sie zu den Wasserquellen des Lebens, und Gott wird jede Träne von ihren Augen wischen."

because the Lamb that [is] in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters, and wipe away shall God every tear from their eyes.'
