Psalm 86
1 Ein Gebet, von David. - Dein Ohr, Herr, neige! Höre mich! Denn ich bin elend und geplagt.
A Prayer of David. Incline thine ear, Jehovah, answer me; for I am afflicted and needy.
2 Beachte mich, wie treu ich bin! Zu Hilfe Deinem Knecht, der auf Dich hofft, mein Gott!
Keep my soul, for I am godly; O thou my God, save thy servant who confideth in thee.
3 Herr! Sei mir gnädig! Denn täglich rufe ich zu Dir.
Be gracious unto me, O Lord; for unto thee do I call all the day.
4 Erfülle Deines Dieners Wunsch! Denn meinen Wunsch, Herr, richte ich auf Dich.
Rejoice the soul of thy servant; for unto thee, Lord, do I lift up my soul.
5 Du bist so gütig, Herr, versöhnlich und gegen jeden, der Dich anruft, liebevoll.
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, and art of great loving-kindness unto all that call upon thee.
6 Herr, merk auf mein Gebet! Und hör mein lautes Flehen!
Give ear, O Jehovah, unto my prayer, and attend to the voice of my supplications.
7 In meiner Notzeit rufe ich zu Dir, daß Du mich hörest.
In the day of my distress I will call upon thee, for thou wilt answer me.
8 Der Götter keiner gleicht Dir, Herr, nichts Deinen Werken.
Among the gods there is none like unto thee, Lord, and there is nothing like unto thy works.
9 Die Heiden alle, die Du schufest, kommen und werfen sich vor Dir, Herr, nieder, und geben Deinem Namen Ehre.
All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord, and shall glorify thy name.
10 Denn Du bist groß und Wunder wirkend, Du, Gott allein.
For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God, thou alone.
11 Herr! Weis mich Deinen Weg, daß in der Treue gegen Dich ich wandle! Mit Deines Namens Furcht vereine sich mein Herz!
Teach me thy way, Jehovah; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.
12 Ich will Dir danken, Herr, mein Gott, von ganzem Herzen und Deinen Namen ewig ehren,
I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with my whole heart; and I will glorify thy name for evermore.
For great is thy loving-kindness toward me, and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
14 Gott! Gegen mich stehn Übermütige auf; mir trachtet nach dem Leben eine Räuberrotte; sie stellt Dich nicht vor ihre Augen.
O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assembly of the violent seek after my soul, and they have not set thee before them.
15 Du aber, Herr, bist ein barmherziger und gnädiger Gott, langmütig, huldreich, treu.
But thou, Lord, art a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in goodness and truth.
16 Wend voll Erbarmen Dich mir zu! Und leihe Deinem Diener Deinen Schutz, und hilf dem Sohne Deiner Magd!
Turn toward me, and be gracious unto me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.
17 Tu mir zum Heil ein Zeichen: daß meine Hasser mit Beschämung sehen, wie Du mein Helfer bist, mein Tröster, Herr!
Shew me a token for good, that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed; for thou, Jehovah, hast helped me and comforted me.
