1 Mose 5

1 Das ist die Urkunde der Geschlechterfolge Adams: Damals, als Gott den Adam schuf, machte er ihn in Gottes Ähnlichkeit.

This is the book of the generation of Adam. In the day that God created man, he made him to the likeness of God.

2 Männlich und weiblich schuf er sie. Dann segnete er sie und hieß sie "Mensch", damals, als sie geschaffen worden waren.

He created them male and female; and blessed them: and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

3 Und Adam war 130 Jahre alt; da zeugte er in seiner Ähnlichkeit nach seinem Bild einen Sohn und hieß ihn Set.

And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begot a son to his own image and likeness, and called his name Seth.

4 Der Tage Adams waren es nach Sets Zeugung 800 Jahre und er zeugte noch Söhne und Töchter.

And the days of Adam, after he begot Seth, were eight hundred years: and he begot sons and daughters.

5 Und aller Tage Adams waren 930 Jahre. Da starb er.

And all the time that Adam lived came to nine hundred and thirty years, and he died.

6 Set war 105 Jahre alt; da zeugte er Enos.

Seth also lived a hundred and five years, and begot Enos.

7 Und Set lebte nach des Enos Zeugung 807 Jahre und zeugte noch Söhne und Töchter.

And Seth lived after he begot Enos, eight hundred and seven years, and begot sons and daughters.

8 Und aller Tage Sets waren 912 Jahre; da starb er.

And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years, and he died.

9 Enos war 90 Jahre alt; da zeugte er Kenan.

And Enos lived ninety years, and begot Cainan.

10 Und Enos lebte nach Kenans Zeugung 815 Jahre und zeugte noch Söhne und Töchter.

After whose birth he lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and begot sons and daughters.

11 Und aller Tage des Enos waren 905 Jahre; da starb er.

And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years, and he died.

12 Und Kenan war 70 Jahre alt; da zeugte er Mahalalel.

And Cainan lived seventy years, and begot Malaleel.

13 Und Kenan lebte nach Mahalalels Zeugung 840 Jahre und zeugte noch Söhne und Töchter.

And Cainan lived after he begot Malaleel, eight hundred and forty years, and begot sons and daughters.

14 Und aller Tage Kenans waren 910 Jahre; da starb er.

And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years, and he died.

15 Und Mahalalel war 65 Jahre alt; da zeugte er Jered.

And Malaleel lived sixty-five years, and begot Jared.

16 Und Mahalalel lebte nach Jereds Zeugung 830 Jahre und zeugte noch Söhne und Töchter.

And Malaleel lived after he begot Jared, eight hundred and thirty years, and begot sons and daughters.

17 Und aller Tage Mahalalels waren 895 Jahre; da starb er.

And all the days of Malaleel were eight hundred and ninety-five years, and he died.

18 Und Jered war 162 Jahre alt; da zeugte er Henoch.

And Jared lived a hundred and sixty-two years, and begot Henoch.

19 Und Jered lebte nach Henochs Zeugung 800 Jahre und zeugte noch Söhne und Töchter.

And Jared lived after he begot Henoch, eight hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.

20 Und aller Tage Jereds waren 962 Jahre; da starb er.

And all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years, and he died.

21 Und Henoch war 65 Jahre alt; da zeugte er Metuselach.

And Henoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Mathusala.

22 Nach Metuselachs Zeugung wandelte Henoch mit Gott 300 Jahre und zeugte noch Söhne und Töchter.

And Henoch walked with God: and lived after he begot Mathusala, three hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.

23 Und aller Tage Henochs waren 365 Jahre.

And all the days of Henoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.

24 Und Henoch wandelte mit Gott, und plötzlich war er nicht mehr da, weil ihn Gott weggenommen hatte.

And he walked with God, and was seen no more: because God took him.

25 Und Metuselach war 187 Jahre alt; da zeugte er Lamech.

And Mathusala lived a hundred and eighty-seven years, and begot Lamech.

26 Und Metuselach lebte nach Lamechs Zeugung 782 Jahre und zeugte noch Söhne und Töchter.

And Mathusala lived after he begot Lamech, seven hundred and eighty-two years, and begot sons and daughters.

27 Und aller Tage Metuselachs waren 969 Jahre; da starb er.

And all the days of Mathusala were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he died.

28 Und Lamech war 182 Jahre alt; da zeugte er einen Sohn.

And Lamech lived a hundred and eighty-two years, and begot a son.

29 Und er hieß seinen Sohn Noe und sprach: "Dieser soll uns Trost bringen, nach unserer Arbeit und unserer Hände Mühen, aus eben diesem Boden, den der Herr verflucht hat."

And he called his name Noe, saying: This same shall comfort us from the works and labours of our hands on the earth, which the Lord hath cursed.

30 Und Lamech lebte nach Noes Zeugung 595 Jahre und zeugte noch Söhne und Töchter.

And Lamech lived after he begot Noe, five hundred and ninety-five years, and begot sons and daughters.

31 Und aller Tage Lamechs waren 777 Jahre; da starb er.

And all the days of Lamech came to seven hundred and seventy-seven years, and he died.

32 Und Noe war 500 Jahre alt; da zeugte Noe Sem, Cham und Japhet.

And Noe, when he was five hundred years old, begot Sem, Cham, and Japheth.
