Hesekiel 46

1 So spricht der Herr, der Herr: "Das Tor des innern Hofes, das nach Osten geht, soll fest verschlossen bleiben durch sechs Werktage! Geöffnet wird's am Sabbat; am Neumondstage wird es auch geöffnet.

Thus says the Lord God; The gate that is in the inner court, that looks eastward, shall be shut the six working days; [but] let it be opened on the sabbath-day, and it shall be opened on the day of the new moon.

2 Der Fürst nimmt seinen Eingang durch die äußre Torhalle und bleibt hier an des Tores Pfosten stehen. Die Priester bringen dar sein Brand- und seine Friedensopfer. Er betet an des Tores Schwelle und geht hinaus. Das Tor sei bis zum Abend unverschlossen!

And the prince shall enter by the way of the porch of the inner gate, and shall stand at the entrance of the gate, and the priests shall prepare his whole burnt offerings and his peace-offerings, and he shall worship at the entrance of the gate: then shall he come forth; but the gate shall not be shut till evening.

3 Das Volk des Landes aber betet vor dem Herrn am Eingang dieses Tores an Sabbaten und Neumonden.

And the people of the land shall worship at the entrance of that gate, both on the sabbaths and at the new moons, before the Lord.

4 Das Brandopfer, das an dem Sabbat der Fürst dem Herrn darbringt, bestehe aus sechs fehlerlosen Lämmern, einem fehlerlosen Widder

And the prince shall offer whole burnt offerings to the Lord on the sabbath-day, six lambs without blemish, and a ram without blemish;

5 nebst einem Speiseopfer! Auf jeden Widder einen Scheffel und auf die Lämmer so viel, wie er geben will, und einen Krug voll Öl auf jeden Scheffel!

and a free will offering, a meat-offering for the ram, and a meat-offering for the lambs, the gift of his hand, and a hin of oil for the meat-offering.

6 Am Neumond sei's ein fehlerloser junger Stier sowie sechs fehlerlose Lämmer, dazu ein fehlerloser Widder!

And on the day of the new moon a calf without blemish, and six lambs, and there shall be a ram without blemish;

7 Zum Speiseopfer stelle er dann einen Scheffel für den Stier und einen Scheffel für den Widder und für die Lämmer so viel, wie er geben will, und einen Krug voll Öl auf jeden Scheffel!

and a meat-offering for the ram, and there shall be a meat-offering for the calf as a free will offering, and for the lambs, according as his hand can furnish, and [there shall be] a hin of oil for the cake.

8 Und geht der Fürst hinein, so nimmt er seinen Eingang durch die äußre Torhalle, und auf demselben Weg geht er hinaus.

And when the prince goes in, he shall go in by the way of the porch of the gate, and he shall go forth by the way of the gate.

9 Erscheint das Volk des Landes an Festen vor dem Herrn, alsdann geht, wer durchs Nordtor anzubeten kam, durchs Südtor wieder fort, und wer durchs Südtor kam, durchs Nordtor; man kehrt nicht durch das Tor zurück, durch das man kam; durchs gegenüberliegende geht man hinaus.

And whenever the people of the land shall go in before the Lord at the feasts, he that goes in by the way of the north gate to worship shall go forth by the way of the south gate; and he that goes in by the way of the south gate shall go forth by the way of the north gate: he shall not return by the gate by which he entered, but he shall go forth opposite it.

10 Der Fürst sei in des Volkes Mitte beim Ein- und Ausgehn!

And the prince shall enter with them in the midst of them when they go in; and when they go forth, he shall go forth.

11 An Festen und an Feiertagen kommt zum Speiseopfer auf den Stier ein Scheffel sowie ein Scheffel auf den Widder und auf die Lämmer so viel, wie man geben will, und auf den Scheffel ein Krug Öl.

And in the feasts and in the general assemblies the free will oblation shall be a meat-offering for the calf, and a meat-offering for the ram, and for the lambs, as his hand can furnish, and a hin of oil for the meat-offering.

12 Und bringt der Fürst dem Herrn freiwillig, sei es ein Brand-, sei es ein Mahlopfer als freie Gabe für den Herrn, dann schließe man das Tor ihm auf, das gegen Osten schaut! Er bringe dar sein Brand- und seine Mahlopfer, wie er's am Sabbat für gewöhnlich tut! Geht er hinaus, so wird das Tor nach seinem Weggang zugeschlossen.

And if the prince should prepare [as] a thanksgiving a whole burnt-peace-offering to the Lord, and should open for himself the gate looking eastward, and offer his whole burnt offering, and his peace-offerings, as he does on the sabbath-day; then shall he go out, and shall shut the doors after he has gone out.

13 Ein noch nicht jährig, fehlerloses Lamm wirst du dem Herrn an jedem Tag als Brandopfer darbringen. Bring es an jedem Tag dem Herrn als Brandopfer, an jedem Morgen dar!

And he shall prepare daily as a whole burnt offering to the Lord a lamb of a year old without blemish: in the morning shall he prepare it.

14 Als Speiseopfer bring jeden Morgen ihm den sechsten Teil des Scheffels, an Öl den dritten Teil des Kruges und träufle dieses auf das Mehl als Speiseopfer für den Herrn nach einer ewig dauernden Verordnung!

And he shall prepare a free will offering for it in the morning, the sixth part of a measure [of flour], and a third part of a hin of oil to mix [therewith] the fine flour, [as] a free will offering to the Lord, a perpetual ordinance.

15 Das Lamm, das Speiseopfer und das Öl, die bringe man als regelmäßiges Brandopfer alle Morgen dar!"

You shall prepare the lamb, and the free will offering, and the oil in the morning, [for] a perpetual whole burnt sacrifice.

16 So spricht der Herr, der Herr: "Wenn von dem zugeteilten Land ein Stück der Fürst an einen seiner Söhne schenkt, so hat dies seinen Söhnen zu verbleiben; es wird ihr Erbbesitz.

Thus says the Lord God; If the prince shall give a gift to one of his sons out of his inheritance, this shall be to his sons a possession [as] an inheritance.

17 Wenn er von seinem Lande etwas einem seiner Diener schenkt, alsdann gehört es diesem bis zum Freiheitsjahr; hierauf fällt's wieder an den Fürsten. Sein Eigentum geht nur an seine Söhne über.

But if he give a gift to one of his servants, then it shall belong to him until the year of release; and [then] he shall restore [it] to the prince: but of the inheritance of his sons [the possession] shall continue to them.

18 Vom Eigentum des Volkes nehme nie der Fürst etwas hinweg, verdränge niemand aus dem Erbbesitz! Er gebe einzig seinen Söhnen aus seinem Grundbesitz ein Erbe! Denn keiner meines Volkes soll aus dem Erbbesitz vertrieben werden!"

And the prince shall by no means take of the inheritance of the people, to oppress them: he shall give an inheritance to his sons out of his [own] possession: that my people be not scattered, every one from his possession.

19 Er brachte mich zum Eingang an der Seitenwand des Tors zu den Gemächern in dem Heiligtum, die für die Priester waren und nach Norden lagen. Da war ein Raum an beiden Ecken gegen Westen.

And he brought me into the entrance of the [place] behind the gate, into the chamber of the sanctuary belonging to the priests, that looks towards the north: and, behold, there was a place set apart.

20 Er sprach zu mir: "Dies ist der Raum, in dem die Priester Fleisch der Schuld- und Sündopfer garkochen, wo sie das Speiseopfer backen, so daß man's durch den äußern Hof nicht tragen muß. Sonst wird das Volk dadurch geheiligt."

And he said to me, This is the place where the priests shall boil the trespass-offerings and the sin-offerings, and there shall they bake the meat-offering always; so as not to carry [them] out into the outer court, to sanctify the people.

21 Er führte mich zum äußern Hof und ließ mich die vier Ecken in dem Hof betrachten, und sieh, in jeder Ecke in dem Hof war ein besondres Höfchen.

And he brought me into the outer court, and led me round upon the four sides of the court; and, behold, there was a court on [each of] the sides of the court,

22 In den vier Ecken dieses Hofes waren ganz verrauchte Vorhöfe, an vierzig Ellen lang und dreißig breit; von gleichem Maße waren die vier Ecken.

on [every] side a court, [even] a court for all the four [sides], and [each] little court belonging to the court was in length forty cubits, and [in] breadth thirty cubits, [there was] one measure to the four.

23 Es hatten diese vier ein Mauerwerk ringsum, und Küchen waren unter diesen Mauern angelegt.

And [there were] chambers in them round about, round about the four, and cooking-places formed under the chambers round about.

24 Er sprach zu mir: "Dies sind die Küchen, wo für das Volk des Hauses Diener das Schlachtopfer garkochen sollen."

And he said to me, These are the cooks' houses, where they that serve the house shall boil the sacrifices of the people.
