2 Mose 40
1 Und der Herr sprach zu Moses:
And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
2 "Am ersten Tage des ersten Monds sollst du des Festgezeltes Wohnung aufschlagen.
On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
3 Dann stelle die Zeugnislade darein und verhülle die Lade mit dem Vorhang!
And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and separate the ark with the vail.
4 Bring den Tisch hinein! Leg die Schichten (der Schaubrote) auf! Dann bringe den Leuchter hinein und setze seine Lampen auf!
And thou shalt bring in the table, and arrange the order of the showbread upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.
5 Den goldenen Rauchaltar stelle vor die Zeugnislade und hänge den Türvorhang der Wohnung auf!
And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony; and thou shalt put up the hanging at the door to the tabernacle.
6 Und vor die Tür der Festgezeltwohnung stelle den Brandopferaltar!
And thou shalt set the altar of burnt-offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
7 Das Becken stelle zwischen Bundeszelt und Altar auf und gieße Wasser darein!
And thou shalt set the laver between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.
8 Lege ringsum den Vorhof an und hänge den Vorhang zum Vorhoftore auf!
And thou shalt set up the court round about, and put up the hanging at the gate of the court.
9 Nimm Salböl! Salbe die Wohnung und alles, was darin, und weihe sie und alle ihre Geräte, daß sie ein Heiligtum werde!
And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein; and thou shalt hallow it, with all its vessels, and it shall be holy.
10 Salbe auch den Brandopferaltar und alle seine Geräte und weihe den Altar, so daß dieser Altar hochheilig werde!
And thou shalt anoint the altar of burnt-offering, and all its vessels; and thou shalt sanctify the altar, and the altar shall be most holy.
11 Salbe auch das Becken mit seinem Fußgestell und weihe es!
And thou shalt anoint the laver with its foot, and sanctify it.
12 Führe Aaron mit seinen Söhnen zu des Festgezeltes Tür und wasche sie mit Wasser!
And thou shalt bring near Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.
13 Bekleide Aaron mit den Kleidern für das Heiligtum! Salbe ihn und weihe ihn, daß er mir Priesterdienste tue!
And thou shalt clothe Aaron with the holy garments; and thou shalt anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may be a priest unto me.
14 Auch seine Söhne sollst du herbeiführen! Bekleide sie mit Leibröcken!
And his sons shalt thou bring near, and clothe them with coats:
15 Und salbe sie, wie du ihren Vater gesalbt, daß sie uns Priesterdienste tun! Die Salbung zum ewigen Priestertum gelte für sie über ihre Geschlechter hin!"
And thou shalt anoint them, as thou hast anointed their father, that they may be priests unto me; and this shall be, that their anointing shall be unto them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
16 Und Moses tat so. Wie ihm der Herr geboten, tat er.
And Moses did so; all, just as the Lord had commanded him, so did he.
17 Am ersten Tag des ersten Monats im zweiten Jahre ist die Wohnung aufgeschlagen worden.
And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.
18 Und Moses erstellte die Wohnung. Er setzte ihre Fußgestelle hin, setzte ihre Bretter darauf, fügte ihre Riegel ein und stellte ihre Säulen auf.
And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and placed its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and reared up its pillars.
19 Er spannte das Zelt über die Wohnung und legte über das Zelt die Überdecke, wie der Herr dem Moses geboten.
And he spread the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent over it above; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
20 Er nahm auch das Zeugnis, legte es in die Lade, steckte an die Lade die Stangen und setzte oben auf die Lade die Deckplatte.
And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and placed the staves on the ark; and he put the mercy-seat upon the ark above.
21 Die Lade aber brachte er in die Wohnung, hängte den verhüllenden Vorhang auf und verhüllte so die Zeugnislade, wie der Herr dem Moses geboten hatte.
And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the separation, and made therewith a separation for the ark of the testimony; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
22 Den Tisch stellte er in das Festgezelt auf der Wohnung Nordseite außerhalb des Vorhangs.
And he put the table in the tabernacle of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle, northward, without the vail.
23 Er legte darauf die Schichten der Brote vor dem Herrn zurecht, wie der Herr dem Moses geboten.
And he arranged upon it the order of bread before the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
24 Den Leuchter stellte er ins Bundeszelt gegenüber dem Tisch auf die Südseite der Wohnung.
And he placed the candlestick in the tabernacle of the congregation, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle, southward.
25 Er setzte die Lampen vor den Herrn, wie der Herr dem Moses gebot.
And he lighted the lamps before the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
26 Den goldenen Altar stellte er ins Festgezelt vor den Vorhang
And he placed the golden altar in the tabernacle of the congregation before the vail.
27 und zündete darauf wohlriechendes Räucherwerk an, wie der Herr dem Moses geboten.
And he burnt thereon the incense of spices; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
28 Dann hängte er den Türvorhang der Wohnung auf.
And he put up the hanging at the door to the tabernacle.
29 Den Brandopferaltar aber stellte er an den Eingang des Festgezeltes; man opferte darauf das Brand- und Speiseopfer, wie der Herr dem Moses geboten hatte.
And the altar of burnt-offering he placed by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation; and he offered upon it the burnt-offering and the meat-offering; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
30 Das Becken aber stellte er zwischen dem Festgezelt und dem Altare auf und goß Waschwasser hinein.
And he set the laver between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, for washing.
31 Daraus wuschen sich Moses, Aaron und seine Söhne Hände und Füße.
And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed therefrom their hands and their feet.
32 Sooft Sie zum Festgezelt kamen und sich dem Altare nahten, wuschen sie sich, wie der Herr dem Moses geboten hatte.
When they went in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed themselves; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
33 Den Vorhof aber legte er rings um die Wohnung und den Altar an und hängte den Vorhang des Vorhoftores auf. So vollendete Moses sein Werk.
And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and put up the hanging of the gate of the court; and so did Moses finish the work.
34 Da verhüllte eine Wolke das Festgezelt, hatte doch die Herrlichkeit des Herrn die Wohnung erfüllt.
And the cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
35 Und Moses konnte nicht ins Festgezelt eingehen; denn die Wolke hatte sich darauf gelagert und die Herrlichkeit des Herrn die Wohnung erfüllt.
And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation; because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
36 Wenn sich die Wolke von der Wohnung hob, zogen die Israeliten fort, auf all ihren Zügen.
And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel were wont to go onward in all their journeyings.
37 Hob sich aber die Wolke nicht, so zogen sie nicht fort, bis sie sich hob.
But if the cloud was not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that is was taken up.
38 Denn eine Wolke lag tagsüber auf der Wohnung. Des Nachts aber war Feuer darüber vor den Augen des ganzen Hauses Israel auf allen ihren Zügen.
For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and a fire was by night on it, before the eyes of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeyings.
