Now these were the sons of David, who were born to him in Hebron: the firstborn, Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second, Daniel, of Abigail the Carmelitess;

4 Sechs sind ihm zu Hebron geboren. Er regierte hier sieben Jahre sechs Monate, und in Jerusalem regierte er dreiunddreißig Jahre.

and these were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea, Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon, four, by Bathshua the daughter of Ammiel;

6 ferner Ibchar, Elisua, Eliphelet,

7 Nogach, Nepheg, Japhia,

9 alle Davids Söhne außer den Söhnen seiner Nebenweiber. Ihre Schwester ist Tamar.

All these were the sons of David, in addition to the sons of the concubines; and Tamar was their sister.

10 Salomos Sohn ist Rechabeam, dessen Sohn Abia, dessen Sohn Asa, dessen Sohn Josaphat,

Solomon’s son was Rehoboam, Abijah his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,

11 dessen Sohn Joram, dessen Sohn Achazja, dessen Sohn Joas,

Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,

12 dessen Sohn Amasja, dessen Sohn Azarja, dessen Sohn Jotam,

Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son,

13 dessen Sohn Achaz, dessen Sohn Ezechias, dessen Sohn Manasse,

Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,

14 dessen Sohn Amon, dessen Sohn Josias.

15 Des Josias Söhne sind der Erstgeborene Jochanan, der zweite Jojakim, der dritte Sedekia, der vierte Sallum.

The sons of Josiah: the firstborn Yochanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, and the fourth Shallum.

16 Jojakims Söhne sind sein Sohn Jechonja und sein Sohn Sedekia.

The sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, and Zedekiah his son.

17 Die Söhne Jechonjas, des Gefangenen, sind sein Sohn Sealtiel,

18 Malkiram, Pedaja, Senassar, Jekamja, Hosanna und Nedabja.

19 Pedajas Söhne sind Zerubbabel und Simei - Zerubbabels Sohn ist Mesullam - sowie Chananja. Ihre Schwester ist Selomit.

The sons of Pedaiah: Zerubbabel and Shimei. The sons of Zerubbabel: Meshullam and Hananiah; and Shelomith was their sister;

20 Ferner Chasubal, Ohel, Berekja, Chasadja, Jusab, Chesed, fünf.

21 Chananjas Söhne sind Pelatja und Jesaja und Rephaias, Arnons, Obadjas und Sekanjas Söhne.

The sons of Hananiah: Pelatiah and Jeshaiah; the sons of Rephaiah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, the sons of Shecaniah.

22 Sekanjas Söhne sind: Semaja und Semajas Söhne sind Chattus, Igal, Bariach, Nearja und Saphat, sechs.

The son of Shecaniah: Shemaiah. The sons of Shemaiah: Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat, six.

23 Nearjas Söhne sind Eljoënai, Chizkia und Azrikam, drei.

The sons of Neariah: Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam, three.

24 Eljoënais Söhne sind Hodaiva, Eljasib, Pelaja, Akkub, Jochanan, Dejala und Anani, sieben.

The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Yochanan, Delaiah, and Anani, seven.
