Psaumes 28
1 De David. Éternel, je t'invoque! Mon rocher! ne sois point sourd à mes cris, de peur que, si pour moi tu ne romps le silence, je ne ressemble à l'homme descendu au tombeau!
[By David.] To you, LORD, I call. My rock, do not be deaf to me; lest, if you are silent to me, I would become like those who go down into the pit.
2 Ecoute ma voix suppliante, car je t'implore, et je tends mes mains vers le sanctuaire de ton saint lieu!
Hear the voice of my petitions, when I cry to you, when I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.
3 Ne m'emporte pas avec les impies, et avec ceux qui font le mal, qui parlent de paix à leur prochain, en ayant la malice dans le cœur.
Do not draw me away with the wicked, with evildoers who speak peace with their neighbors, but mischief is in their hearts.
4 Donne-leur le salaire dû à leurs œuvres et à la méchanceté de leurs actions; rends-leur selon l'ouvrage de leurs mains, en retour fais-leur ce qu'ils ont fait!
Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings. Give them according to the operation of their hands. Bring back on them what they deserve.
5 Car ils ne prennent point garde aux actes de l'Éternel, ni à l'œuvre de ses mains: qu'il les détruise, et ne les relève pas!
Because they do not regard the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he will break them down and not build them up.
6 Béni soit l'Éternel, car Il écoute ma voix suppliante!
Blessed be the LORD, because he has heard the voice of my petitions.
7 L'Éternel est ma force et mon bouclier. En lui mon cœur se confie; et je suis secouru, et mon cœur se réjouit, et par mes chants je veux le célébrer.
The LORD is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him.
8 L'Éternel est le soutien de son peuple, et le rempart et le secours de son Oint.
The LORD is the strength of his people. He is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed.
9 Sauve ton peuple, et bénis ton héritage; sois son pasteur, et le maintiens à jamais.
Save your people, and bless your inheritance. Be their shepherd also, and bear them up forever.
