1 Stations des enfants d'Israël sortis du pays d'Egypte, formant leurs divisions sous la conduite de Moïse et d'Aaron.
These [are] the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
2 Moïse mit par écrit leurs marches selon leurs stations sur l'ordre de l'Éternel, et voici les stations qu'ils firent dans leurs marches.
And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these [are] their journeys according to their goings out.
3 Ils partirent de Raemsès dans le premier mois, le quinzième jour du premier mois; le lendemain de la Pâque, les enfants d'Israël sortirent la main haute, aux yeux de toute l'Egypte,
And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.
4 tandis que les Égyptiens donnaient la sépulture à ceux que l'Éternel avait frappés parmi eux, à tous les premiers-nés; et l'Éternel exerçait ses jugements sur leurs dieux.
For the Egyptians buried all [their] firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.
5 Étant donc partis de Raemsès, ils vinrent camper à Succoth.
And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.
6 Et partis de Succoth ils vinrent camper à Etham situé à l'extrémité du désert.
And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which [is] in the edge of the wilderness.
7 Et partis d'Etham ils revinrent sur Pi-Hahiroth située vis-à-vis de Baal-Tsephon et campèrent devant Migdol.
And they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pi-hahiroth, which [is] before Baal-zephon: and they pitched before Migdol.
8 Et partis de Hahiroth ils arrivèrent au travers de la mer dans le désert, et firent trois journées de marche dans le désert d'Etham et campèrent à Mara.
And they departed from before Pi-hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
9 Et partis de Mara ils parvinrent à Elim, or à Elim il y avait douze sources d'eau et soixante-dix palmiers; et ils y campèrent.
And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim [were] twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.
10 Et partis d'Elim ils vinrent camper vers la Mer aux algues.
And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.
11 Et partis de la Mer aux algues ils vinrent camper dans le désert de Sin.
And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
12 Et partis du désert de Sin ils vinrent camper à Dophka.
And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.
13 Et partis de Dophka ils vinrent camper à Alus.
And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.
14 Et partis d'Alus ils vinrent camper à Raphidim; or le peuple n'y trouva point d'eau à boire.
And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.
15 Et partis de Raphidim ils vinrent camper dans le désert de Sinaï.
And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai.
16 Et partis du désert de Sinaï ils vinrent camper aux Tombeaux de la convoitise.
And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at Kibroth-hattaavah.
17 Et partis des Tombeaux de la convoitise ils vinrent camper à Hatseroth.
And they departed from Kibroth-hattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.
18 Et partis de Hatseroth ils vinrent camper à Rithma.
And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.
19 Et partis de Rithma ils vinrent camper à Rimmon-Parets.
And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmon-parez.
20 Et partis de Rimmon-Parets ils vinrent camper à Libna.
And they departed from Rimmon-parez, and pitched in Libnah.
21 Et partis de Libna ils vinrent camper à Rissa.
And they removed from Libnah, and pitched at Rissah.
22 Et partis de Rissa ils vinrent camper à Kehelatha.
And they journeyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.
23 Et partis de Kehelatha ils vinrent camper au mont Sapher.
And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.
24 Et partis du mont Sapher ils vinrent camper à Harada.
And they removed from mount Shapher, and encamped in Haradah.
25 Et partis de Harada ils vinrent camper à Makheloth.
And they removed from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.
26 Et partis de Makheloth ils vinrent camper à Thahath.
And they removed from Makheloth, and encamped at Tahath.
27 Et partis de Thahath ils vinrent camper à Tharach.
And they departed from Tahath, and pitched at Tarah.
28 Et partis de Tharach ils vinrent camper à Mithka.
And they removed from Tarah, and pitched in Mithcah.
29 Et partis de Mithka ils vinrent camper à Hasmona.
And they went from Mithcah, and pitched in Hashmonah.
30 Et partis de Hasmona ils vinrent camper à Moseroth.
And they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth.
31 Et partis de Moseroth ils vinrent camper à Bnei-Jaakan.
And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Bene-jaakan.
32 Et partis de Bnei-Jaakan ils vinrent camper à Hor-Gidgad.
And they removed from Bene-jaakan, and encamped at Hor-hagidgad.
33 Et partis de Hor-Gidgad ils vinrent camper à Jotbatha.
And they went from Hor-hagidgad, and pitched in Jotbathah.
34 Et partis de Jotbatha ils vinrent camper à Abrona.
And they removed from Jotbathah, and encamped at Ebronah.
35 Et partis de Abrona ils vinrent camper à Etsion-Géber.
And they departed from Ebronah, and encamped at Ezion-gaber.
36 Et partis de Etsion-Géber ils vinrent camper dans le désert de Tsin: c'est Cadès.
And they removed from Ezion-gaber, and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which [is] Kadesh.
37 Et partis de Cadès ils vinrent camper au mont Hor, sur la frontière du pays d'Edom.
And they removed from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
38 C'est alors que le Prêtre Aaron monta sur le mont Hor, d'après l'ordre de l'Éternel, et qu'il y mourut la quarantième année après la sortie des enfants d'Israël hors du pays d'Egypte, le cinquième mois, le premier jour du mois;
And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first [day] of the fifth month.
39 (or Aaron était âgé de cent vingt-trois ans, lorsqu'il mourut sur le mont Hor).
And Aaron [was] an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.
40 Et le Cananéen, Roi de Arad, établi dans le Midi du pays de Canaan entendit parler de l'arrivée des enfants d'Israël.
And king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
41 Et étant partis du mont Hor ils vinrent camper à Tsalmona.
And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.
42 Et partis de Tsalmona ils vinrent camper à Punon.
And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.
43 Et partis de Punon ils vinrent camper à Oboth.
And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.
44 Et partis d'Oboth ils vinrent camper à Jiim, à la frontière de Moab.
And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Ije-abarim, in the border of Moab.
45 Et partis de Jiim ils vinrent camper à Dibon-Gad.
And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibon-gad.
46 Et partis de Dibon-Gad ils vinrent camper à Almon-Diblathaïm.
And they removed from Dibon-gad, and encamped in Almon-diblathaim.
47 Et partis de Almon-Diblathaïm ils vinrent camper aux monts Abarim devant le Nébo.
And they removed from Almon-diblathaim, and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
48 Et partis des monts Abarim ils vinrent camper dans les plaines de Moab sur le Jourdain près de Jéricho.
And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan [near] Jericho.
49 Et ils campèrent sur le Jourdain, de Beth-Jesimoth à Abel-Sittim dans les plaines de Moab.
And they pitched by Jordan, from Beth-jesimoth [even] unto Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab.
50 Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse dans les plaines de Moab sur le Jourdain près de Jéricho, en ces termes:
And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan [near] Jericho, saying,
51 Parle aux enfants d'Israël et dis-leur: Quand après le passage du Jourdain vous serez entrés dans le pays de Canaan,
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;
52 vous chasserez tous les habitants du pays devant vous, détruirez toutes leurs [pierres] figurées et détruirez toutes leurs images de fonte et raserez tous leurs tertres,
Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:
53 et vous occuperez le pays et vous y établirez, car je vous ai donné ce pays pour en prendre possession.
And ye shall dispossess [the inhabitants] of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.
54 Et vous vous partagerez le pays au sort selon vos familles; aux plus nombreux vous adjugerez un lot plus étendu; aux moins nombreux, un lot plus restreint; l'emplacement échu par le sort à quelqu'un, c'est ce qu'il aura; vous vous le partagerez d'après vos Tribus patriarcales.
And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: [and] to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man’s [inheritance] shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.
55 Mais si vous ne chassez pas devant vous les habitants du pays, ceux d'entre eux que vous laisserez, deviendront des épines pour vos yeux, et des aiguillons dans vos flancs et ils vous mettront à la gêne dans le pays où vous serez établis.
But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them [shall be] pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
56 Et il arrivera que ce que j'avais résolu de leur faire, c'est à vous que je le ferai.
Moreover it shall come to pass, [that] I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.
