1 Benjamin engendra Béla, son premier-né, Ashbel le second, Achrach le troisième,
Now Benjamin brings forth Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,
2 Nocha le quatrième, et Rapha le cinquième.
Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.
3 Les fils de Béla furent: Addar, Guéra, Abihud,
And the sons of Bela were, Addar, and Gera, and Abihud,
4 Abishua, Naaman, Achoach,
And Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,
5 Guéra, Shéphuphan et Huram.
And Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.
6 Voici les enfants d'Échud; ils étaient chefs des maisons des pères des habitants de Guéba, et ils les transportèrent à Manachath:
And these are the sons of Ehud: these are the heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Geba, and they removed them to Manahath:
7 Naaman, Achija et Guéra; c'est lui qui les transporta. Il engendra Uzza et Achichud.
And Naaman, and Ahiah, and Gera, he removed them, and brings forth Uzza, and Ahihud.
8 Shacharaïm eut des enfants au pays de Moab, après qu'il eut renvoyé Hushim et Baara, ses femmes.
And Shaharaim brings forth children in the country of Moab, after he had sent them away; Hushim and Baara were his wives.
9 Il engendra de Hodèsh, sa femme, Jobab, Tsibia, Mésha, Malcam,
And he brings forth of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,
10 Jéuts, Shocja et Mirma. Ce sont là ses fils, chefs des pères.
And Jeuz, and Shachia, and Mirma. These were his sons, heads of the fathers.
11 De Hushim il engendra Abitub, et Elpaal.
And of Hushim he brings forth Abitub, and Elpaal.
12 Les fils d'Elpaal: Éber, Misheam, et Shémer, qui bâtit Ono, Lod et les villes de son ressort.
The sons of Elpaal; Eber, and Misham, and Shamed, who built Ono, and Lod, with the towns thereof:
13 Béria et Shéma, qui étaient chefs des pères des habitants d'Ajalon, mirent en fuite les habitants de Gath.
Beriah also, and Shema, who were heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who drove away the inhabitants of Gath:
14 Achio, Shashak, Jérémoth,
And Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth,
15 Zébadia, Arad, Éder,
And Zebadiah, and Arad, and Ader,
16 Micaël, Jishpha et Jocha, étaient fils de Béria.

And Elienai, and Zilthai, and Eliel,
21 Adaja, Béraja, et Shimrath, étaient fils de Shimeï.
And Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, the sons of Shimhi;
22 Jishpan, Éber, Éliel,
And Ishpan, and Heber, and Eliel,
23 Abdon, Zicri, Hanan,
And Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,
24 Hanania, Élam, Anthothija,
And Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,
25 Jiphdéja et Pénuel, étaient fils de Shashak.
And Iphedeiah, and Penuel, the sons of Shashak;
26 Shamshéraï, Shécharia, Athalia,
And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,
27 Jaareshia, Élija et Zicri, étaient fils de Jérocham.
And Jaresiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, the sons of Jeroham.
28 Ce sont là les chefs des maisons des pères, chefs selon leur naissance. Ils habitaient à Jérusalem.
These were heads of the fathers, by their generations, chief men. These dwelt in Jerusalem.
29 Le père de Gabaon habitait à Gabaon; sa femme s'appelait Maaca.
And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon; whose wife's name was Maachah:
30 Son fils, le premier-né, fut Abdon; puis Tsur, Kis, Baal, Nadab,
And his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,
31 Guédor, Achio et Zéker.
And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher.
32 Mikloth engendra Shiméa. Ils habitèrent aussi près de leurs frères à Jérusalem, avec leurs frères.
And Mikloth brings forth Shimeah. And these also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, opposite to them.
33 Ner engendra Kis; Kis engendra Saül; Saül engendra Jonathan, Malkishua, Abinadab et Eshbaal.
And Ner brings forth Kish, and Kish brings forth Saul, and Saul brings forth Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
34 Fils de Jonathan: Mérib-Baal. Mérib-Baal engendra Mica.
And the son of Jonathan was Meribbaal; and Meribbaal brings forth Micah.
35 Fils de Mica: Pithon, Mélec, Thaeréa et Achaz.
And the sons of Micah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.
36 Achaz engendra Jéhoadda; Jéhoadda engendra Alémeth, Azmaveth et Zimri; Zimri engendra Motsa;
And Ahaz brings forth Jehoadah; and Jehoadah brings forth Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri brings forth Moza,
37 Motsa engendra Binea, qui eut pour fils Rapha, qui eut pour fils Éleasa, qui eut pour fils Atsel.
And Moza brings forth Binea: Rapha was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son:
38 Atsel eut six fils, dont voici les noms: Azrikam, Bocru, Ismaël, Shéaria, Obadia et Hanan. Tous ceux-là étaient fils d'Atsel.
And Azel had six sons, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
39 Fils d'Eshek, son frère: Ulam, son premier-né, Jéush le second, et Éliphélet le troisième.
And the sons of Eshek his brother were, Ulam his firstborn, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
40 Les fils d'Ulam furent de vaillants guerriers, tirant de l'arc; et ils eurent beaucoup de fils et de petits-fils, cent cinquante. Tous ceux-là sont des enfants de Benjamin.
And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers, and had many sons, and sons' sons, an hundred and fifty. All these are of the sons of Benjamin.
