Marc 15
1 Dès le matin, les principaux sacrificateurs, après avoir tenu conseil avec les anciens, les scribes et tout le sanhédrin, firent lier Jésus, l'emmenèrent et le livrèrent à Pilate.
AND forthwith in the morning the chief priests with the elders and with the scribes and with the whole congregation made council; and they bound Jeshu, and led him and delivered him to Pilatos the governor.
2 Pilate l'interrogea: «C'est toi, qui es le roi des Juifs?» — «Tu le dis, » lui répondit Jésus.
And Pilatos asked him, Art thou the King of the Jihudoyee? And he replied and said to him, Thou hast said.
3 Comme les principaux sacrificateurs le chargeaient de plusieurs crimes,
And the chief priests accused him of many (things):
4 Pilate l'interrogea de nouveau, disant: «Tu ne réponds rien? Vois donc, de combien de crimes ils te chargent.»
but he, Pilatos, asked him again and said to him, Returnest thou not an answer? see how many are witnessing against thee.
5 Mais Jésus ne fit plus aucune réponse, ce qui étonna Pilate.
But he, Jeshu, did not give any answer; so that Pilatos admired.
6 A chaque fête, il relâchait un prisonnier, celui que le peuple demandait.
But he was accustomed at every festival to release to them of the bound one whom they requested;
7 Or, on tenait en prison le nommé Barrabas, avec ses complices, pour un meurtre commis dans une émeute.
and there was one who was called Bar-aba, who was bound with the makers of sedition, they who murder in the sedition had committed.
8 La foule étant montée au prétoire, se mit à demander l’élargissement d’un prisonnier, ainsi qu'il le leur accordait toujours.
And the people cried out and began to demand, that as he was used he would do to them.
9 Pilate leur répondit: «Voulez-vous que je vous relâche le roi des Juif?»
But Pilatos answered and said, Will you that I release to you the King of the Jihudoyee?
10 car il comprenait que c'était par envie que les principaux sacrificateurs l'avaient livré.
For Pilatos knew that for envy the chief priests had delivered him.
11 Mais les principaux sacrificateurs agitèrent le peuple, afin que Pilate leur relâchât plutôt Barrabas.
But the chief priests the more incited the multitude, that Bar-aba he should release to them.
12 Pilate reprenant la parole, leur dit: «Que voulez-vous donc que je fasse de celui que vous appelez le roi des Juifs?»
But he, Pilatos, said to them, What then will you that I do to this, whom ye call King of the Jihudoyee?
13 Ils crièrent de nouveau: «Crucifie-le.»
And they again cried, Crucify him!
14 — «Quel mal a-t-il fait?» leur dit Pilate. Ils crièrent encore plus fort: «Crucifie-le.»
Pilatos said to them, Why? what evil hath he done? And they the more exceedingly cried, Crucify him.
15 Pilate, voulant satisfaire le peuple, lui relâcha Barrabas, et, après avoir fait flageller Jésus, il le livra pour être crucifié.
But Pilatos was willing to serve the will of the people, and released to them Bar-aba, and delivered up to them Jeshu, scourged, to be crucified.
16 Les soldats l'emmènent dans l'intérieur de la cour, c’est-à-dire, dans le prétoire, et appellent toute la cohorte.
And the soldiers led him into the court which is the praetorium, and called the whole band;
17 Ils l'affublent d’un manteau de pourpre, et tressent une couronne d'épines, dont ils ceignent sa tête.
and they robed him in purple, and twisted and set upon him a crown of thorns,
18 Puis ils se mettent à le saluer: «Salut, roi des Juifs.»
and they began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jihudoyee!
19 Et ils le frappent sur la tête avec un roseau, crachent sur lui, et fléchissent les genoux par manière d'hommage.
and they struck him upon the head with a cane, and spat in his face, and kneeled upon their knees and worshipped him.
20 Quand ils l'eurent bafoué, ils lui ôtèrent la pourpre et le revêtirent de ses propres vêtements. Après cela, ils l'emmènent pour le crucifier.
And when they had mocked him, they stripped him of the purple, and clothed him with his own vestments, and led him forth to crucify him.
21 Ils mettent en réquisition, pour porter sa croix, un passant qui venait des champs, Simon de Cyrène, le père d'Alexandre et de Rufus;
AND they constrained one who was passing, Shemun Kurinoia, who was coming from the field, the father of Alexander and of Rufus, to bear his cross.
22 et ils entraînent Jésus à la place de Golgotha, ce qui signifie: la place du Crâne.
And they brought him to Gogultha, a place which is interpreted A skull.
23 Ils lui présentent du vin aromatisé avec de la myrrhe, mais il n'en prit pas.
And they gave him to drink wine which was mixed with myrrh; but he would not receive.
24 Ils le crucifient, et se partagent ses vêtements en tirant au sort pour savoir qui aurait telle ou telle pièce:
And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, and cast for them lots who should take them.
25 c'était la troisième heure du jour quand on le crucifia.
And it was the third hour when they crucified him.
26 L'inscription indiquant le sujet de sa condamnation, portait: «Le Roi des Juifs.»
And there was written the occasion of his death in the inscription, This is the King of the Jihudoyee.
27 Ils crucifient avec lui deux brigands, l'un à sa droite, l'autre à sa gauche.
And they crucified with him two thieves, one on his right and one on his left;
28 [Et ainsi s'accompli le passage de l'Ecriture qui dit «Et il a été mis au nombre des malfaiteurs.»]
and was accomplished the Scripture which said, That with the wicked he was reckoned.
29 Les passants l'insultaient en branlant la tête, et en disant: «Hé! toi qui détruis le temple, et qui le rebâtis en trois jours,
AND they also who passed by blasphemed against him, wagging their heads and saying, Ho, undoer of the temple and builder of it in three days,
30 sauve-toi toi-même en descendant de ta croix.»
deliver thyself and come down from the cross!
31 Les principaux sacrificateurs aussi, avec les scribes, le raillaient entre eux, et disaient: «Il en a sauvé d'autres, et il ne peut se sauver lui-même!
And so also the chief priests laughing one with one, and the Sophree, and saying, Others he saved, himself he cannot save.
32 Que le Messie, le roi d'Israël descende maintenant de la croix, pour que nous voyions et que nous croyions» Les brigands qui étaient crucifiés avec lui, l'insultaient également.
The Meshicha King of Isroel, let him descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe on him; and they also who were crucified with him reviled him.
33 A la sixième heure, des ténèbres se répandirent sur tout le pays jusqu’à la neuvième.
AND when it was the sixth hour, there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.
34 A la neuvième heure, Jésus cria d'une voix forte: «Éloï, Éloï, lema sabachtani, » ce qui signifie: mon Dieu, mon Dieu, pourquoi m'as-tu abandonné?
And in the ninth hour Jeshu cried with a high voice and said, Il, Il, Lamona Shabaktoni! Which is, Alohi! Alohi! why hast thou forsaken me?
35 Quelques-uns des assistants l'ayant entendu, dirent: «Tenez, il appelle Élie.»
And certain who heard, of them who were standing, said, Elia he calleth;
36 Il y en eut un qui courut tremper une éponge dans du vinaigre, et l'ayant ajustée à une tige, il lui donna à boire, disant: «Laissez, voyons si Élie viendra l'ôter de la croix.»
but one ran and filled a sponge with vinegar, and bound it on a rod that he might drink. And they said, Let alone, we will see if Elia cometh to take him down.
37 Mais Jésus, ayant poussé un grand cri, expira.
But he, Jeshu, cried with a high voice, and completed:
38 Le voile du temple se déchira en deux, depuis le haut jusqu'en bas.
and the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.
39 Le centurion, qui était en face de Jésus, voyant qu'il avait expiré en jetant un tel cri, dit: «Assurément, cet homme était Fils de Dieu.»
But when that centurion who stood near him saw that he cried thus, and ended, (he) said, Assuredly this man was the Son of Aloha.
40 Il y avait aussi des femmes qui regardaient de loin, entre autres Marie Madeleine, Marie, mère de Jacques le mineur et de Joses, et Salomé,
And there were women from afar who were beholding; Mariam Magdalitha, and Mariam mother of Jacub the less and of Josi, and Shaloom;
41 qui suivaient Jésus et l'assistaient, lorsqu'il était en Galilée, et plusieurs autres qui étaient montées avec lui à Jérusalem.
those who, when he was in Galila, adhered to him, and ministered to him, and many others who went up with him to Urishlem.
42 Comme c'était le jour de la préparation, c’est-à-dire, la veille du sabbat,
AND when it was evening of the preparation which is before the shabath,
43 Joseph d'Arimathée arriva sur le soir: c'était un sénateur distingué par ses manières; il attendait, lui aussi, le royaume de Dieu. Il avait osé se rendre auprès de Pilate, pour lui demander le corps de Jésus.
came Jauseph, he who was from Rometha, an honourable counsellor, who also himself waited for the kingdom of Aloha. And he took courage, and went in to Pilatos and requested the body of Jeshu.
44 Pilate, surpris de ce que Jésus était déjà mort, fit venir le centurion et lui demanda s'il y avait longtemps que Jésus était mort;
But Pilatos wondered if he were now dead; and he called the centurion and asked him whether before the time he was dead:
45 et, sur le rapport du centurion, il accorda gratuitement le cadavre à Joseph.
and when he had learned, he gave the body to Jauseph.
46 Alors Joseph, ayant acheté un linceul, descendit Jésus de la croix, l'enveloppa dans le linceul, le déposa dans un sépulcre taillé dans le roc, et roula une pierre à l'entrée du sépulcre.
And Jauseph bought linen, and took him down and wrapped him in it, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn in the rock, and rolled a stone against the door of the sepulchre.
47 Marie Madeleine et Marie, mère de Joses, observaient le lieu où l’on mettait le corps.
But Mariam Magdalitha and Mariam, she who was (the mother) of Josi, beheld where he was laid.
