Psaumes 119
1 Heureux ceux qui sont irréprochables dans leur voie, qui marchent selon la loi de Yahweh!
Blessed [are] the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
2 Heureux ceux qui gardent ses enseignements, qui le cherchent de tout leur cœur,
Blessed [are] they that keep his testimonies, [and that] seek him with the whole heart.
3 qui ne commettent pas l'iniquité et qui marchent dans ses voies!
They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
4 Tu as prescrit tes ordonnances, pour qu'on les observe avec soin.
Thou hast commanded [us] to keep thy precepts diligently.
5 Puissent mes voies être dirigées, pour que j'observe tes lois!
O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
6 Alors je n'aurai point à rougir, à la vue de tous tes commandements.
Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
7 Je te louerai dans la droiture de mon cœur, en apprenant les préceptes de ta justice.
I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
8 Je veux garder tes lois: ne me délaisse pas complètement. BETH.
I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.
9 Comment le jeune homme rendra-t-il pur son sentier? En se gardant selon ta parole.
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed [thereto] according to thy word.
10 Je te cherche de tout mon cœur: ne me laisse pas errer loin de tes commandements.
With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 Je garde ta parole cachée dans mon cœur, afin de ne pas pécher contre toi.
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
12 Béni sois-tu, Yahweh! Enseigne-moi tes lois.
Blessed [art] thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.
13 De mes lèvres j'énumère tous les préceptes de ta bouche.
With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
14 J'ai de la joie à suivre tes enseignements, comme si je possédais tous les trésors.
I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as [much as] in all riches.
15 Je veux méditer tes ordonnances, avoir les yeux sur tes sentiers.
I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
16 Je fais mes délices de tes lois, je n'oublierai pas ta parole. GHIMEL.
I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
17 Use de bonté envers ton serviteur, afin que je vive, et j'observerai ta parole.
Deal bountifully with thy servant, [that] I may live, and keep thy word.
18 Ouvre mes yeux, pour que je contemple les merveilles de ta loi.
Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
19 Je suis un étranger sur la terre: ne me cache pas tes commandements.
I [am] a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
20 Mon âme est brisée par le désir, qui toujours la porte vers tes préceptes.
My soul breaketh for the longing [that it hath] unto thy judgments at all times.
21 Tu menaces les orgueilleux, ces maudits, qui s'égarent loin de tes commandements.
Thou hast rebuked the proud [that are] cursed, which do err from thy commandments.
22 Eloigne de moi la honte et le mépris, car j'observe tes enseignements.
Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.
23 Que les princes siègent et parlent contre moi: ton serviteur méditera tes lois.
Princes also did sit [and] speak against me: [but] thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.
24 Oui, tes enseignements font mes délices, ce sont les hommes de mon conseil. DALETH.
Thy testimonies also [are] my delight [and] my counsellors.
25 Mon âme est attachée à la poussière: rends-moi la vie, selon ta parole!
My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.
26 Je t'ai exposé mes voies, et tu m'as répondu: enseigne-moi tes lois.
I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.
27 Fais-moi comprendre la voie de tes ordonnances, et je méditerai sur tes merveilles.
Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.
28 Mon âme, attristée, se fond en larmes: relève-moi selon ta parole.
My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.
29 Eloigne de moi la voie du mensonge, et accorde-moi la faveur de ta loi.
Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.
30 J'ai choisi la voie de la fidélité, je place tes préceptes sous mes yeux.
I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid [before me].
31 Je me suis attaché à tes enseignements: Yahweh, ne permets pas que je sois confondu.
I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.
32 Je cours dans la voie de tes commandements, car tu élargis mon cœur. HÉ.
I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.
33 Enseigne-moi, Yahweh, la voie de tes préceptes, afin que je la garde jusqu'à la fin de ma vie.
Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it [unto] the end.
34 Donne-moi l'intelligence pour que je garde ta loi, et que je l'observe de tout mon cœur.
Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with [my] whole heart.
35 Conduis-moi dans le sentier de tes commandements, car j'y trouve le bonheur.
Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
36 Incline mon cœur vers tes enseignements, et non vers le gain.
Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
37 Détourne mes yeux pour qu'ils ne voient point la vanité, fais-moi vivre dans ta voie.
Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; [and] quicken thou me in thy way.
38 Accomplis envers ton serviteur ta promesse, que tu as faite à ceux qui te craignent.
Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who [is devoted] to thy fear.
39 Ecarte de moi l'opprobre que je redoute, car tes préceptes sont bons.
Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments [are] good.
40 Je désire ardemment pratiquer tes ordonnances: par ta justice, fais-moi vivre. VAV.
Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.
41 Que vienne sur moi ta miséricorde, Yahweh, et ton salut, selon ta parole!
Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, [even] thy salvation, according to thy word.
42 Et je pourrai répondre à celui qui m'outrage, car je me confie en ta parole.
So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.
43 N'ôte pas entièrement de ma bouche la parole de vérité, car j'espère en tes préceptes.
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.
44 Je veux garder ta loi constamment, toujours et à perpétuité.
So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.
45 Je marcherai au large, car je recherche tes ordonnances.
And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
46 Je parlerai de tes enseignements devant les rois, et je n'aurai point de honte.
I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
47 Je ferai mes délices de tes commandements, car je les aime.
And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
48 J'élèverai mes mains vers tes commandements que j'aime, et je méditerai tes lois. ZAÏN.
My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.
49 Souviens-toi de la parole donnée à ton serviteur, sur laquelle tu fais reposer mon espérance.
Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
50 C'est ma consolation dans la misère, que ta parole me rende la vie.
This [is] my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.
51 Des orgueilleux me prodiguent leurs railleries: je ne m'écarte point de ta loi.
The proud have had me greatly in derision: [yet] have I not declined from thy law.
52 Je pense à tes préceptes des temps passés, Yahweh, et je me console.
I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.
53 L'indignation me saisit à cause des méchants, qui abandonnent ta loi.
Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
54 Tes lois sont le sujet de mes cantiques, dans le lieu de mon pèlerinage.
Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
55 La nuit je me rappelle ton nom, Yahweh, et j'observe ta loi.
I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.
56 Voici la part qui m'est donnée: je garde tes ordonnances. HETH.
This I had, because I kept thy precepts.
57 Ma part, Yahweh, je le dis, c'est de garder tes paroles.
[Thou art] my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.
58 Je t'implore de tout mon cœur; aie pitié de moi selon ta parole.
I intreated thy favour with [my] whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.
59 Je réfléchis à mes voies, et je ramène mes pas vers tes enseignements.
I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
60 Je me hâte, je ne diffère point d'observer tes commandements.
I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
61 Les pièges des méchants m'environnent, et je n'oublie point ta loi.
The bands of the wicked have robbed me: [but] I have not forgotten thy law.
62 Au milieu de la nuit, je me lève pour te louer, à cause des jugements de ta justice.
At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.
63 Je suis l'ami de tous ceux qui te craignent, et de ceux qui gardent tes ordonnances.
I [am] a companion of all [them] that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.
64 La terre est pleine de ta bonté, Yahweh: enseigne-moi tes lois. TETH.
The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.
65 Tu as usé de bonté envers ton serviteur, Yahweh, selon ta parole.
Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word.
66 Enseigne-moi le sens droit et l'intelligence, car j'ai foi en tes commandements.
Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
67 Avant d'avoir été humilié, je m'égarais; maintenant, j'observe ta parole.
Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
68 Tu es bon et bienfaisant: enseigne-moi tes lois.
Thou [art] good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.
69 Des orgueilleux imaginent contre moi des mensonges; moi, je garde de tout cœur tes ordonnances.
The proud have forged a lie against me: [but] I will keep thy precepts with [my] whole heart.
70 Leur cœur est insensible comme la graisse; moi, je fais mes délices de ta loi.
Their heart is as fat as grease; [but] I delight in thy law.
71 Il m'est bon d'avoir été humilié, afin que j'apprenne tes préceptes.
[It is] good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
72 Mieux vaut pour moi la loi de ta bouche; que des monceaux d'or et d'argent. YOD.
The law of thy mouth [is] better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.
73 Ce sont tes mains qui m'ont fait et qui m'ont façonné: donne-moi l'intelligence pour apprendre tes commandements.
Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
74 Ceux qui te craignent, en me voyant, se réjouiront, car j'ai confiance en ta parole.
They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.
75 Je sais, Yahweh, que tes jugements sont justes; c'est dans ta fidélité que tu m'as humilié.
I know, O LORD, that thy judgments [are] right, and [that] thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.
76 Que ta bonté soit ma consolation, selon ta parole donnée à ton serviteur!
Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.
77 Que ta compassion vienne sur moi, et que je vive, car ta loi fait mes délices!
Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law [is] my delight.
78 Qu'ils soient confondus les orgueilleux qui me maltraitent injustement! Moi, je médite tes ordonnances.
Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: [but] I will meditate in thy precepts.
79 Qu'ils se tournent vers moi ceux qui te craignent, et ceux qui connaissent tes enseignements!
Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies.
80 Que mon cœur soit tout entier à tes lois, afin que je ne sois pas confondu! CAPH.
Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.
81 Mon âme languit après ton salut, j'espère en ta parole.
My soul fainteth for thy salvation: [but] I hope in thy word.
82 Mes yeux languissent après ta promesse, je dis: « Quand me consoleras-tu? »
Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
83 Car je suis comme une outre exposée à la fumée, mais je n'oublie pas tes lois.
For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; [yet] do I not forget thy statutes.
84 Quel est le nombre des jours de ton serviteur? Quand donc feras-tu justice de ceux qui me poursuivent?
How many [are] the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
85 Des orgueilleux creusent des fosses pour me perdre; ils sont les adversaires de ta loi.
The proud have digged pits for me, which [are] not after thy law.
86 Tous tes commandements sont fidélité; ils me persécutent sans cause: secours-moi.
All thy commandments [are] faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.
87 Ils ont failli m'anéantir dans le pays; et moi je n'abandonne pas tes ordonnances.
They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.
88 Rends-moi la vie dans ta bonté, et j'observerai l'enseignement de ta bouche. LAMED.
Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.
89 A jamais, Yahweh, ta parole est établie dans les cieux.
For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
90 D'âge en âge ta fidélité demeure; tu as fondé la terre, et elle subsiste.
Thy faithfulness [is] unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
91 C'est d'après tes lois que tout subsiste jusqu'à ce jour, car tout obéit à tes ordres.
They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all [are] thy servants.
92 Si ta loi ne faisait mes délices, déjà j'aurais péri dans ma misère.
Unless thy law [had been] my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.
93 Je n'oublierai jamais tes ordonnances, car c'est par elles que tu m'as rendu la vie.
I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.
94 Je suis à toi: sauve-moi, car je recherche tes préceptes.
I [am] thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.
95 Les méchants m'attendent pour me faire périr: je suis attentif à tes enseignements.
The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: [but] I will consider thy testimonies.
96 J'ai vu des bornes à tout ce qui est parfait; ton commandement n'a point de limites. MEM.
I have seen an end of all perfection: [but] thy commandment [is] exceeding broad.
97 Combien j'aime ta loi! Elle est tout le jour l'objet de ma méditation.
O how love I thy law! it [is] my meditation all the day.
98 Par tes commandements, tu me rends plus sage que mes ennemis, car je les ai toujours avec moi.
Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they [are] ever with me.
99 Je suis plus sage que tous mes maîtres, car tes enseignements sont l'objet de ma méditation.
I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies [are] my (meditation)
100 J'ai plus d'intelligence que les vieillards, car j'observe tes ordonnances.
I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
101 Je retiens mon pied loin de tout sentier mauvais, afin de garder ta parole.
I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.
102 Je ne m'écarte pas de tes préceptes, car c'est toi qui m'as instruit.
I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.
103 Que ta parole est douce à mon palais, plus que le miel à ma bouche!
How sweet are thy words unto my taste! [yea, sweeter] than honey to my mouth!
104 Par tes ordonnances je deviens intelligent, aussi je hais tous les sentiers du mensonge. NUN.
Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
105 Ta parole est un flambeau devant mes pas, une lumière sur mon sentier.
Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
106 J'ai juré, et j'y serai fidèle, — d'observer les préceptes de ta justice.
I have sworn, and I will perform [it], that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
107 Je suis réduit à une extrême affliction: Yahweh, rends-moi la vie, selon ta parole.
I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.
108 Agrée, Yahweh, l'offrande de mes lèvres, et enseigne-moi tes préceptes.
Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.
109 Ma vie est continuellement dans mes mains, et je n'oublie point ta loi.
My soul [is] continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.
110 Les méchants me tendent des pièges, et je ne m'égare pas loin de tes ordonnances.
The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.
111 J'ai tes enseignements pour toujours en héritage, car ils sont la joie de mon cœur.
Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they [are] the rejoicing of my heart.
112 J'ai incliné mon cœur à observer tes lois, toujours, jusqu'à la fin. SAMECH.
I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, [even unto] the end.
113 Je hais les hommes au cœur double, et j'aime ta loi.
I hate [vain] thoughts: but thy law do I love.
114 Tu es mon refuge et mon bouclier; j'ai confiance en ta parole.
Thou [art] my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
115 Retirez-vous de moi, méchants, et j'observerai les commandements de mon Dieu.
Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.
116 Soutiens-moi selon ta promesse, afin que je vive, et ne permets pas que je sois confondu dans mon espérance.
Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.
117 Sois mon appui, et je serai sauvé, et j'aurai toujours tes lois sous les yeux.
Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.
118 Tu méprises tous ceux qui s'écartent de tes lois, car leur ruse n'est que mensonge.
Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit [is] falsehood.
119 Tu rejettes comme des scories tous les méchants de la terre; c'est pourquoi j'aime tes enseignements.
Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth [like] dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.
120 Ma chair frissonne de frayeur devant toi, et je redoute tes jugements. AÏN.
My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.
121 J'observe le droit et la justice: ne m'abandonne pas à mes oppresseurs.
I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.
122 Prends sous ta garantie le bien de ton serviteur; et que les orgueilleux ne m'oppriment pas!
Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.
123 Mes yeux languissent après ton salut, et après la promesse de ta justice.
Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.
124 Agis envers ton serviteur selon ta bonté, et enseigne-moi tes lois.
Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.
125 Je suis ton serviteur: donne-moi l'intelligence, pour que je connaisse tes enseignements.
I [am] thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.
126 Il est temps pour Yahweh d'intervenir: ils violent ta loi.
[It is] time for [thee], LORD, to work: [for] they have made void thy law.
127 C'est pourquoi j'aime tes commandements, plus que l'or et que l'or fin.
Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.
128 C'est pourquoi je trouve justes toutes tes ordonnances, je hais tout sentier de mensonge. PHÉ.
Therefore I esteem all [thy] precepts [concerning] all [things to be] right; [and] I hate every false way.
129 Tes enseignements sont merveilleux, aussi mon âme les observe.
Thy testimonies [are] wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.
130 La révélation de tes paroles illumine, elle donne l'intelligence aux simples.
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
131 J'ouvre la bouche et j'aspire, car je suis avide de tes commandements.
I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.
132 Tourne vers moi ta face et aie pitié de moi; c'est justice envers ceux qui aiment ton nom.
Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.
133 Affermis mes pas dans ta parole, et ne laisse aucune iniquité dominer sur moi.
Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
134 Délivre-moi de l'oppression des hommes, et je garderai tes ordonnances.
Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.
135 Fais luire ta face sur ton serviteur, et enseigne-moi tes lois.
Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.
136 Mes yeux répandent des torrents de larmes, parce qu'on n'observe pas ta loi. TSADÉ.
Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.
137 Tu es juste, Yahweh, et tes jugements sont équitables.
Righteous [art] thou, O LORD, and upright [are] thy judgments.
138 Tu as donné tes enseignements, selon la justice et une parfaite fidélité.
Thy testimonies [that] thou hast commanded [are] righteous and very faithful.
139 Mon zèle me consume, parce que mes adversaires oublient tes paroles.
My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words.
140 Ta parole est entièrement éprouvée, et ton serviteur l'aime.
Thy word [is] very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.
141 Je suis petit et méprisé; mais je n'oublie point tes ordonnances.
I [am] small and despised: [yet] do not I forget thy precepts.
142 Ta justice est une justice éternelle, et ta loi est vérité.
Thy righteousness [is] an everlasting righteousness, and thy law [is] the truth.
143 La détresse et l'angoisse m'ont atteint; tes commandements font mes délices.
Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: [yet] thy commandments [are] my delights.
144 Tes enseignements sont éternellement justes; donne-moi l'intelligence, pour que je vive. QOPH.
The righteousness of thy testimonies [is] everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.
145 Je t'invoque de tout mon cœur; exauce-moi, Yahweh, afin que je garde tes lois.
I cried with [my] whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.
146 Je t'invoque, sauve-moi, afin que j'observe tes enseignements.
I cried unto thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.
147 Je devance l'aurore, et je crie vers toi; j'espère en ta parole.
I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.
148 Mes yeux devancent les veilles de la nuit, pour méditer ta parole.
Mine eyes prevent the [night] watches, that I might meditate in thy word.
149 Ecoute ma voix selon ta bonté; Yahweh, rends-moi la vie selon ton jugement.
Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: O LORD, quicken me according to thy judgment.
150 Ils s'approchent, ceux qui poursuivent le crime, qui se sont éloignés de ta loi.
They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.
151 Tu es proche, Yahweh, et tous tes commandements sont la vérité.
Thou [art] near, O LORD; and all thy commandments [are] truth.
152 Dès longtemps je sais, au sujet de tes enseignements, que tu les as établis pour toujours. RESCH.
Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.
153 Vois ma misère, et délivre-moi, car je n'oublie pas ta loi.
Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.
154 Défends ma cause et sois mon vengeur, rends-moi la vie selon ta parole.
Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word.
155 Le salut est loin des méchants, car ils ne s'inquiètent pas de tes lois.
Salvation [is] far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.
156 Tes miséricordes sont nombreuses, Yahweh; rends-moi la vie selon tes jugements.
Great [are] thy tender mercies, O LORD: quicken me according to thy judgments.
157 Nombreux sont mes persécuteurs et mes ennemis; je ne m'écarte point de tes enseignements.
Many [are] my persecutors and mine enemies; [yet] do I not decline from thy testimonies.
158 A la vue des infidèles, j'ai ressenti de l'horreur, parce qu'ils n'observent pas ta parole.
I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.
159 Considère que j'aime tes ordonnances; Yahweh, rends-moi la vie selon ta bonté.
Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness.

Thy word [is] true [from] the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments [endureth] for ever.
161 Des princes me persécutent sans cause: c'est de tes paroles que mon cœur a de la crainte.
Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
162 Je me réjouis de ta parole, comme si j'avais trouvé de riches dépouilles.
I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
163 Je hais le mensonge, je l'ai en horreur; j'aime ta loi.
I hate and abhor lying: [but] thy law do I love.
164 Sept fois le jour je te loue, à cause des lois de ta justice.
Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.
165 Il y a une grande paix pour ceux qui aiment ta loi, et rien ne leur est une cause de chute.
Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
166 J'espère en ton salut, Yahweh, et je pratique tes commandements.
LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments.
167 Mon âme observe tes enseignements, et elle en est éprise.
My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.
168 Je garde tes ordonnances et tes enseignements, car toutes mes voies sont devant toi. THAV.
I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways [are] before thee.
169 Que mon cri arrive jusqu'à toi, Yahweh! Selon ta parole, donne-moi l'intelligence.
Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word.
170 Que ma supplication parvienne jusqu'à toi! Selon ta parole, délivre-moi.
Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.
171 Que mes lèvres profèrent ta louange, car tu m'as enseigné tes lois!
My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.
172 Que ma langue publie ta parole, car tous tes commandements sont justes!
My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments [are] righteousness.
173 Que ta main s'étende pour me secourir, car j'ai choisi tes ordonnances!
Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.
174 Je soupire après ton salut, Yahweh, et ta loi fait mes délices.
I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law [is] my delight.
175 Que mon âme vive pour te louer, et que tes jugements me viennent en aide!
Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.
176 Je suis errant comme une brebis égarée: cherche ton serviteur; car je n'oublie pas tes commandements.
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
