1 Fils d’Issachar: Thola, Phua, Jasub et Siméron: quatre. —
Issachar's four sons were Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron.
2 Fils de Thola: Ozi, Raphaïa, Jériel, Jémaï, Jebsem et Samuel, chefs de leurs maisons patriarcales issues de Thola, vaillants hommes, inscrits d’après leurs générations, au temps de David, au nombre de vingt-deux mille six cents. —
The sons of Tola were Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Samuel. They were the heads of their fathers' houses, from the descendants of Tola and they were listed as mighty warriors among their generation. They numbered 22,600 in the days of David.
3 Fils d’Ozi: Izrahia. Fils de Izrahia: Michaël, Obadia, Johel et Jésia: en tout cinq chefs.
Uzzi's son was Izrahiah. His sons were Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Ishijah, all five of them were clan leaders.
4 Ils avaient avec eux, selon leurs générations, selon leurs maisons patriarcales, des troupes armées pour la guerre, trente-six mille hommes; car ils avaient beaucoup de femmes et de fils.
Along with them they had thirty-six thousand troops for battle, according to the lists belonging to their ancestors' clans, for they had many wives and sons.
5 Leurs frères, d’après toutes les familles d’Issachar, hommes vaillants, formaient un nombre total de quatre-vingt-sept mille, inscrits dans les généalogies.
Their relatives were fighting men from all the clans of Issachar, and they numbered in all, eighty-seven thousand fighting men, as listed in their genealogy.
6 Fils de Benjamin: Béla, Béchor et Jadiel: trois. —
Benjamin's three sons were Bela, Beker, and Jediael.
7 Fils de Béla: Esbon, Ozi, Oziel, Jérimoth et Uraï: cinq chefs de maisons patriarcales, hommes vaillants, inscrits dans les généalogies, au nombre de vingt-deux mille quatre cents. —
Bela's five sons were Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri. They were soldiers and heads of fathers' houses. Their people numbered 22,034 fighting men, according to the lists belonging to their ancestors' clans.
8 Fils de Béchor: Zamira, Joas, Eliézer, Elioénaï, Amri, Jérimoth, Abia, Anathoth et Almath: tous ceux-là fils de Béchor,
Beker's sons were Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these were his sons.
9 inscrits dans les généalogies, d’après leurs générations, comme chefs de leurs maisons patriarcales, hommes vaillants, au nombre de vingt mille deux cents. —
The lists of their clans numbered 20,200 heads of their fathers' houses and fighting men.
10 Fils de Jadihel: Balan. — Fils de Balan: Jéhus, Benjamin, Aod, Chanana, Zéthan, Tarsis et Abisahar:
The son of Jediael was Bilhan. Bilhan's sons were Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Kenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and Ahishahar.
11 tous ceux là fils de Jadihel, chefs de leurs maisons patriarcales, hommes vaillants, au nombre de dix-sept mille deux cents, en état d’aller en armes à la guerre.
All these were sons of Jediael. Listed in their clan lists were 17,200 heads of houses and fighting men fit for military service.
12 Sepham et Hapham, fils d’Hir: Hasim, fils d’Aher.
(The Shuppites and the Huppites were sons of Ir, and the Hushites were sons of Aher.)

Naphtali's sons were Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and Shillem. These were Bilhah's grandsons.
14 Fils de Manassé: Esriel. Sa concubine syrienne enfanta Machir, père de Galaad. —
Manasseh had a male child named Asriel, whom his Aramean concubine bore. She also gave birth to Makir, Gilead's father.
15 Machir prit une femme de Happhim et de Saphan; le nom de sa sœur était Maacha. Le nom du second fils était Salphaad, et Salphaad eut des filles.
Makir took a wife from the Huppites and Shuppites. A sister's name was Maakah. Another of Manasseh's descendants was Zelophehad, who had only daughters.
16 Maacha, femme de Machir, enfanta un fils, et l’appela du nom de Pharès; le nom de son frère était Sarès, et ses fils étaient Ulam et Récen. —
Maakah wife of Makir, bore a son and she called him Peresh. His brother's name was Sheresh, and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.
17 Fils d’Ulam: Badan. — Ce sont là les fils de Galaad, fils de Machir, fils de Manassé. —
Ulam's son was Bedan. These were the descendants of Gilead son of Makir son of Manasseh.
18 Sa sœur Hammoléketh enfanta Ischod, Abiézer et Mohola. —
Gilead's sister Hammoleketh bore Ishhod, Abiezer, and Mahlah.

The sons of Shemida were Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam.
20 Fils d’Ephraïm: Suthala; Bared, son fils; Thahath, son fils; Elada, son fils; Thahath, son fils;
The descendants of Ephraim were as follows: Ephraim's son was Shuthelah. Shuthelah's son was Bered. Bered's son was Tahath. Tahath's son was Eleadah. Eleadah's son was Tahath.
21 Zabad, son fils; Suthala, son fils; Ezer et Elad, que tuèrent les hommes de Geth nés dans le pays, parce qu’ils étaient descendus pour prendre leurs troupeaux.
Tahath's son was Zabad. Zabad's son was Shuthelah. (Ezer and Elead were killed by men of Gath, natives in the land, when they went to steal their cattle.
22 Ephraïm, leur père, fut longtemps dans le deuil, et ses frères vinrent pour le consoler.
Ephraim their father mourned for them many days, and his brothers came to comfort him.
23 Et il alla vers sa femme, et elle conçut et enfanta un fils; il l’appela du nom de Béria, parce qu’on était dans le malheur en sa maison.
He slept with his wife. She conceived and bore a son. Ephraim called him Beriah, because tragedy had come to his family.)
24 Sa fille était Sara, qui bâtit Bethoron le Bas et Bethoron le Haut, et Ozen-Sara.
His daughter was Sheerah, who built Lower and Upper Beth Horon and Uzzen Sheerah.
25 Rapha, son fils, et Réseph; Thalé, son fils; Taan, son fils;
His son was Rephah. Rephah's son was Resheph. Resheph's son was Telah. Telah's son was Tahan.
26 Laadan, son fils; Ammiud, son fils; Elisama, son fils;
Tahan's son was Ladan. Ladan's son was Ammihud. Ammihud's son was Elishama.
27 Nun, son fils; Josué, son fils. —
Elishama's son was Nun. Nun's son was Joshua.
28 Leurs possessions et leurs habitations étaient: Béthel et les villes de sa dépendance; à l’orient, Noran; à l’occident, Gézer et les villes de sa dépendance, Sichem et les villes de sa dépendance, jusqu’à Aza et aux villes de sa dépendance.
Their possessions and residences were Bethel and its surrounding villages. They extended eastward to Naaran and westward to Gezer and its villages, and to Shechem and its villages to Ayyah and its villages.
29 Entre les mains des fils de Manassé étaient encore Bethsan et les villes de sa dépendance, Thanach et les villes de sa dépendance, Mageddo et les villes de sa dépendance, Dor et les villes de sa dépendance. Ce fut dans ces villes qu’habitèrent les fils de Joseph, fils d’Israël.
On the border with Manasseh were Beth Shan and its villages, Taanach and its villages, Megiddo and its villages, and Dor and its villages. In these towns the descendants of Joseph son of Israel lived.

Shemer's brother, Helem, had these sons: Zophah, Imna, Shelesh, and Amal.

Zophah's sons were Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah,
37 Bosor, Hod, Samma, Salusa, Jéthran et Béra. —

38 Fils de Jéther: Jéphoné, Phaspha et Ara. —
Jether's sons were Jephunneh, Pispah, and Ara.
39 Fils d’Olla: Arée, Haniel et Résia. —
Ulla's sons were Arah, Hanniel, and Rizia.
40 Tous ceux-là étaient fils d’Aser, chefs de maisons patriarcales, hommes d’élite et vaillants, chefs des princes, inscrits au nombre de vingt-six mille hommes en état d’aller en armes à la guerre.
All these were descendants of Asher. They were ancestors of the clans, heads of fathers' houses, distinguished men, fighting men, and chief among the leaders. There were twenty-six thousand men listed who were fit for military service, according to their numbered lists.
