1 Sinun pitää myös tekemän suitsutusalttarin suitsutettaa: sittimipuusta sinun sen tekemän pitää.
And thou shalt make an altar, for burning incense, of acacia wood, shalt thou make it:
2 Kyynärä pitää oleman hänen pituutensa ja kyynärä leveytensä: nelikulmaisen pitää sen oleman, ja kaksi kyynärää hänen korkeutensa; siitä myös pitää oleman hänen sarvensa.
a cubit, the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof four square, shall it be, —and two cubits, the height thereof, of the same, [shall be] the horns thereof,
3 Ja sinun pitää silaaman sen puhtaalla kullalla, hänen lakensa ja seinänsä ympärinsä, ja sen sarvet. Ja sinun pitää tekemän kultaisen vanteen sen ympärinsä.
And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof, -and thou shalt make to it a border of gold round about.
4 Ja kaksi kultaista rengasta pitää sinun tekemän, molemmille tahoille kahteen hänen kulmaansa vanteen alle, että korennot niihin pistettäisiin, joilla se kannettaisiin.
And, two rings of gold, shalt thou make to it, under the border thereof upon the two corners thereof, shalt thou make them on the two sides thereof, —so shall they become receptacles for the staves, to lift it therewith.
5 Sinun pitää myös tekemän korennot sittimipuusta, ja silaaman ne kullalla.
And thou shalt make the staves of acacia wood, —and overlay them with gold.
6 Ja asettaman se esiripun eteen, joka on todistusarkin edessä; armo-istuimen edessä, joka on todistuksen päällä, siellä minä tulen sinun tykös.
And thou shalt place it before the veil, which is by the ark of the testimony, —before the propitiatory which is upon the testimony, where I will meet thee.
7 Ja Aaronin pitää sen päällä polttaman hyvänhajullista suitsutusta: joka aamu koska hän valmistaa kynttilät, pitää hänen sen suitsuttaman.
And Aaron shall burn thereon fragrant incense, —morning by morning, when he trimmeth the lamps, shall he burn it;
8 Niin myös koska Aaron sytyttää kynttilät kahden ehtoon välillä, pitää hänen sen suitsuttaman: sen suitsutuksen pitää oleman alinomaisen Herran edessä, teidän sukukunnissanne.
and, when Aaron lighteth the lamps, between the evenings, shall he burn it, —a continual incense before Yahweh, to your generations.
9 Ei teidän pidä yhtään muukalaista suitsutusta tekemän sen päällä, eli polttouhria, eli ruokauhria, eikä myös juomauhria uhraaman sen päällä.
Ye shall not cause to ascend thereupon strange incense, nor an ascending-sacrifice, nor a meal-offering, —and a drink offering, shall ye not pour out thereupon.
10 Ja Aaron pitää sen sarvein päällä sovittaman kerran vuodessa: rikosuhrin verestä pitää hänen sen päällä kerran vuodessa sovittaman teidän sukukunnissanne: se on kaikkein pyhin Herralle.
But Aaron shall put a propitiatory-covering upon the horns thereof, once in the year: of the blood of the sin-bearer for propitiatory-coverings, once in the year, shall he put a propitiatory-covering thereupon to your generations, most holy, it is to Yahweh.
11 Ja Herra puhui Mosekselle, sanoen:
Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
12 Koska Israelin lapset luettelet, niin heidän pitää itsekunkin sielunsa edestä antaman sovinnon Herralle, koska he luetellaan: ettei heidän päällensä joku rangaistus tulisi, koska he luetellaan.
When thou takest the sum of the sons of Israel, by their numberings, then shall they give every man a propitiatory-covering for his soul to Yahweh, when they are numbered, —that there may be among them no plague when they are numbered.
13 Ja pitää jokaisen, joka luvussa on, antaman puolen sikliä, pyhän siklin jälkeen: sikli maksaa kaksikymmentä geraa: puoli sikliä pitää oleman Herran ylennysuhri.
This, shall they give—every one that passeth over to them that have been numbered—a half-shekel by the shekel of the sanctuary, —the shekel is twenty gerahs—the half-shekel, shall be a heave-offering to Yahweh.
14 Joka kahdenkymmenen vuotisen luvussa löydetään ja sen ylitse: sen pitää antaman Herralle ylennysuhrin.
All who pass over to the numbered, from twenty years old and upwards, shall give the heave-offering of Yahweh.
15 Varallisen ei pidä siihen lisäämän, ja köyhän ei pidä vähentämän puolesta siklistä, koska he antavat Herralle ylennysuhrin teidän sieluinne sovinnoksi.
The rich, shall not give more, and the poor, shall not give less, than the half-shekel, —when they give the heave-offering of Yahweh, to put a propitiatory-covering over your souls.
16 Ja sinun pitää sovintorahan ottaman Israelin lapsilta, ja antaman sen seurakunnan majan palvelukseksi: ja sen pitää Israelin lapsille muistoksi oleman Herran edessä, että teidän sielunne sovitettaisiin.
So then thou shalt take the silver for the propitiatory-coverings from the sons of Israel, and shalt expend it upon the service of the tent of meeting, —thus shall it be for the sons of Israel as a memorial before Yahweh, to put a propitiatory-covering over your souls.
17 Niin Herra taas puhui Mosekselle, sanoen:
Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
18 Sinun pitää myös tekemän vaskisen pesoastian, vaskijalan kanssa, pesemistä varten: ja sen pitää sinun asettaman seurakunnan majan ja alttarin vaiheelle, ja paneman siihen vettä.
And thou shalt make a laver of bronze, and its stand of bronze for bathing, —and thou shalt place it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and shalt put therein water.
19 Että Aaron ja hänen poikansa pesisivät siitä kätensä ja jalkansa.
So shall Aaron and his sons bathe thereat, —their hands, and their feet.
20 Koska he menevät seurakunnan majaan, pitää heidän itsensä pesemän vedellä, ettei he kuolisi, taikka koska he lähestyvät alttarin tykö palvelemaan Herraa savu-uhrilla.
When they enter the tent of meeting, they shall bathe with water so shall they not die, —or when they approach unto the altar to minister, to burn as incense an altar-flame to Yahweh:
21 Ja heidän pitää pesemän kätensä ja jalkansa, ettei he kuolisi ja se pitää heille oleman ijankaikkiseksi säädyksi, hänelle ja hänen siemenellensä heidän sukukunnissansa.
so then they shall bathe their hands and their feet and shall not die, —and it shall be to them an age-abiding statute, to him and to his seed to their generations.
22 Ja Herra puhui Mosekselle, sanoen:
Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
23 Ota sinulles parhaista kaluista: kaikkein kalliimmasta mirhamista viisisataa sikliä, ja puoli sen vertaa kanelia, kaksisataa ja viisikymmentä, ja myös kalmusta kaksisataa ja viisikymmentä.
Thou, therefore, take to thee—principal spices, —self-flowing myrrh, five hundred, and fragrant cinnamon, half as much, two hundred and fifty, and, fragrant cane, two hundred and fifty;
24 Mutta kasiaa viisisataa pyhän siklin jälkeen, ja öljyä öljypuusta yksi hin,
and, cassia, five hundred, by the shekel of the sanctuary, —and, oil olive, a hin.
25 Ja sinun pitää siitä tekemän pyhän voidellusöljyn, parhaan voiteen apotekarin tavalla: sen pitää pyhän voiteen-öljyn oleman.
And thou shalt make it an oil for holy anointing, a compounded perfume the work of a perfumer, —an oil for holy anointing, shall it be.
26 Sillä sinun pitää voiteleman seurakunnan majan, niin myös todistusarkin.
And thou shalt anoint therewith the tent of meeting, —and the ark of the testimony;
27 Ja pöydän ja kaikki hänen astiansa, ja kynttiläjalan ja sen astiat, niin myös suitsutusalttarin,
and the table and all its utensils, and the lampstand, and its utensils, —and the incense altar,
28 Polttouhrin alttarin ja kaikki sen astiat, niin myös pesoastian jalkoinensa.
and the altar for the ascending-sacrifice, and all its utensils, -and the laver, and its stand.
29 Ja sinun pitää ne pyhittämän, ja ne pitää kaikkein pyhimmät oleman: mitä ikänänsä niihin tarttuu, se pitää pyhitetty oleman.
So shalt thou hallow them, and they shall be most holy, —whosoever toucheth them, shall be holy.
30 Aaronin ja hänen poikansa pitää sinun myös voiteleman ja pyhittämän heitä minulle papiksi.
Aaron also, and his sons, shalt thou anoint, —so shalt thou hallow them to minister as priests unto me.
31 Sinun pitää myös puhuman Israelin lapsille, sanoen: tämä öljy pitää oleman minulle pyhä voidellus teidän sukukunnissanne.
And unto the sons of Israel, shalt thou speak, saying, An oil for holy anointing, shall this be to me, to your generations.
32 Ihmisen ruumiin päälle ei pidä se voidellus vuodatettaman, ja ei teidän pidä myös senkaltaista tekemän; sillä se on pyhä, sentähden pitää myös se teiltä pyhitettämän.
Upon the flesh of a common man, shall it not be poured, and according to the proportions thereof, shall ye not make any like it, —holy, it is, holy, shall it be to you.
33 Se joka tekee senkaltaista voidetta, eli joka panee sitä muukalaisen päälle, se pitää hävitettämän kansoistansa.
Whosoever compoundeth any like it, and whosoever bestoweth thereof upon a stranger, shall be cut off from among his people.
34 Ja Herra sanoi Mosekselle: ota sinulle hyvänhajullisia kaluja, staktea ja galbania (a); näistä hajavista kaluista, puhtaan pyhän savun (b) kanssa, pitää yhden verran oleman. (a) Bdellium. (b) Ollibanum purum.
Then said Yahweh unto Moses—Take to thee aromatic spices stacte and onycha, and galbanum, —aromatic spices, and pure frankincense, —weight for weight, shall it be.
35 Sinun pitää siitä tekemän suitsutuksen, apotekarin tavalla: suolatun, puhtaan ja pyhän.
And thou shalt make of it an incense, a perfume the work of a perfumer, —salted, pure, holy.
36 Ja sinun pitää sen pieneksi survoman, ja paneman siitä todistuksen eteen seurakunnan majaan, kussa minä olen sinua läsnä: sen pitää teille oleman kaikkein pyhimmän.
And thou shalt beat some of it to powder, and place thereof before the testimony, in the tent of meeting, where I am to meet with thee, —most holy, shall it be to you.
37 Ja senkaltaista suitsutusta ei teidän pidä itsellenne tekemän; mutta tämä pitää oleman sinulle pyhä, Herran edessä.
And the incense which thou shalt make, according to the proportions thereof, ye shall not make for yourselves, —holy, shall it be to thee, to Yahweh.
38 Joka senkaltaista tekee suitsuttaaksensa, se pitää hävitettämän kansoistansa.
Whosoever shall make like it, to smell of it shall be cut off from among his people.
