Jesaja 50

1 Tiele diras la Eternulo: Kie estas la eksedziga letero de via patrino, per kiu Mi ŝin forpuŝis? aŭ al kiu el Miaj kreditoroj Mi vendis vin? Jen pro viaj pekoj vi estas venditaj, kaj pro viaj krimoj estas forpuŝita via patrino.

Thus sayeth the Lord, Where is that bill of your mothers diuorcement, whome I haue cast off? or who is the creditour to whome I solde you? Beholde, for your iniquities are yee solde, and because of your transgressions is your mother forsaken.

2 Kial neniu estis, kiam Mi venis? kial neniu respondis, kiam Mi vokis? Ĉu Mia mano fariĝis tro mallonga, por liberigi? kaj ĉu ne ekzistas en Mi forto, por savi? Jen per Mia severa vorto Mi sekigas maron, Mi faras el riveroj dezerton; iliaj fiŝoj putras pro senakveco kaj mortas de soifo.

Wherefore came I, and there was no man? I called, and none answered: is mine hand so shortened, that it cannot helpe? or haue I no power to deliuer? Beholde, at my rebuke I drie vp the Sea: I make the floods desert: their fish rotteth for want of water, and dieth for thirst.

3 Mi vestas la ĉielon per mallumo, kaj sakaĵon Mi faras ĝia kovrilo.

I clothe the heauens with darkenesse, and make a sacke their couering.

4 La Sinjoro, la Eternulo, donis al mi langon instruitan, por ke mi povosciu vigligi per vorto senfortigiton; Li vekas, ĉiumatene vekas mian orelon, por ke mi aŭskultu kiel instruatoj.

The Lord God hath giuen me a tongue of the learned, that I shoulde knowe to minister a woord in time to him that is weary: he will raise me vp in the morning: in the morning hee will waken mine eare to heare, as the learned.

5 La Sinjoro, la Eternulo, malfermis mian orelon, kaj mi ne kontraŭstaris, mi ne turnis min malantaŭen.

The Lord God hath opened mine eare and I was not rebellious, neither turned I backe.

6 Mian dorson mi elmetis al la batantoj kaj miajn vangojn al la harŝirantoj; mian vizaĝon mi ne kovris kontraŭ insultoj kaj kraĉado.

I gaue my backe vnto the smiters, and my cheekes to the nippers: I hidde not my face from shame and spitting.

7 Sed la Sinjoro, la Eternulo, helpas al mi, tial mi ne estas hontigata; tial mi faris mian vizaĝon kiel siliko, kaj mi scias, ke mi ne estos senhonorigata.

For the Lord God will helpe me, therefore shall I not bee confounded: therefore haue I set my face like a flint, and I knowe that I shall not be ashamed.

8 Proksima estas mia praviganto; kiu procesos kontraŭ mi? ni stariĝu kune; kiu postulas juĝon kontraŭ mi, li alproksimiĝu al mi.

Hee is neere that iustifieth mee: who will contend with me? Let vs stande together: who is mine aduersarie? let him come neere to me.

9 Jen la Sinjoro, la Eternulo, helpas al mi; kiu do malpravigos min? jen ili ĉiuj elfrotiĝos kiel vesto, tineoj ilin tramanĝos.

Beholde, the Lord God will helpe me: who is he that can condemne me? loe, they shall waxe olde as a garment: the mothe shall eate them vp.

10 Kiu inter vi timas la Eternulon, aŭskultas la voĉon de Lia servanto? Kvankam li iras en mallumo kaj nenio brilas al li, tamen li fidu la nomon de la Eternulo kaj apogu sin sur sia Dio.

Who is among you that feareth the Lord? let him heare the voyce of his seruant: hee that walketh in darkenesse, and hath no light, let him trust in the Name of the Lord, and staye vpon his God.

11 Jen vi ĉiuj, kiuj ekbruligas fajron, ĉirkaŭas sin per flamoj, iru en la lumon de via fajro, kaj en la flamojn, kiujn vi ekbruligis. Per Mia mano tio fariĝos al vi; en doloro vi kuŝos.

Beholde, all you kindle a fire, and are compassed about with sparkes: walke in the light of your fire, and in the sparkes that ye haue kindled. This shall ye haue of mine hand: ye shall lye downe in sorowe.
