Jesaja 49

1 Aŭskultu min, ho insuloj, kaj atentu, ho malproksimaj gentoj: la Eternulo min alvokis el la ventro, el la interno de mia patrino Li vokis mian nomon.

Hear yee me, O yles, and hearken, yee people from farre. The Lord hath called me from the wombe, and made mention of my name from my mothers bellie.

2 Kaj Li faris mian buŝon simila al akra glavo, kovris min per la ombro de Sia mano, kaj faris min polurita sago, kaŝis min en Sia sagujo.

And hee hath made my mouth like a sharpe sworde: vnder the shadowe of his hande hath he hid mee, and made me a chosen shafte, and hid me in his quiuer,

3 Kaj Li diris al mi: Vi estas Mia servanto, ho Izrael, per kiu Mi gloriĝos.

And sayd vnto me, Thou art my seruaunt, Israel, for I will be glorious in thee.

4 Mi opiniis, ke vane mi penis, ke sencele kaj vane mi konsumis mian forton; sed vere mia rajto estas ĉe la Eternulo, kaj mia rekompenco ĉe mia Dio.

And I said, I haue labored in vaine: I haue spent my strength in vaine and for nothing: but my iudgement is with the Lord, and my woorke with my God.

5 Kaj nun diris la Eternulo, kiu el la patrina ventro kreis min Lia servanto, por ke mi revenigu al Li Jakobon kaj por ke Izrael kolektiĝu ĉe Li (ĉar mi estas honorata antaŭ la okuloj de la Eternulo, kaj mia Dio estas mia forto) —

And now sayeth the Lord, that formed me from the wombe to be his seruaunt, that I may bring Iaakob againe to him (though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I bee glorious in the eyes of the Lord: and my God shall be my strength)

6 Li diris: Ne sufiĉas, ke vi estas Mia servanto, por restarigi la tribojn de Jakob kaj revenigi la konservitojn de Izrael; sed Mi faros vin lumo por la nacioj, por ke Mia savo etendiĝu ĝis la fino de la tero.

And hee sayde, It is a small thing that thou shouldest be my seruaunt, to raise vp the tribes of Iaakob, and to restore the desolations of Israel: I will also giue thee for a light of the Gentiles, that thou maiest bee my saluation vnto the ende of the worlde.

7 Tiele diras la Eternulo, la Liberiganto de Izrael, lia Sanktulo, al la malestimata animo, al la abomenato de la popoloj, al la sklavo de la regantoj: Reĝoj ekvidos kaj leviĝos; princoj, kaj ili adorkliniĝos; pro la Eternulo, kiu estas fidinda, pro la Sanktulo de Izrael, kiu vin elektis.

Thus sayeth the Lord the redeemer of Israel, and his Holie one, to him that is despised in soule, to a nation that is abhorred, to a seruaunt of rulers, Kinges shall see, and arise, and princes shall worship, because of the Lord, that is faithfull: and ye Holy one of Israel, which hath chosen thee.

8 Tiele diras la Eternulo: En la tempo de favoro Mi aŭskultos vin, kaj en la tago de savo Mi helpos vin, kaj Mi konservos vin kaj faros vin interligo por la popoloj, por restarigi la teron, por ekposedi dezertigitajn posedaĵojn,

Thus sayeth the Lord, In an acceptable time haue I heard thee, and in a day of saluation haue I helped thee: and I will preserue thee, and wil giue thee for a couenant of ye people, that thou maiest raise vp the earth, and obtaine the inheritance of the desolate heritages:

9 por diri al la malliberigitoj: Eliru! al la troviĝantoj en mallumo: Montriĝu! Ĉe la vojoj ili paŝtiĝos, kaj sur ĉiuj nudaj montetoj estos ilia paŝtejo.

That thou maiest say to the prisoners, Goe foorth: and to them that are in darkenesse, Shewe your selues: they shall feede in the waies, and their pastures shall bee in all the toppes of the hilles.

10 Ili ne malsatos nek soifos, ne frapos ilin siroko nek la suno; ĉar ilia Kompatanto ilin kondukos, kaj al fontoj de akvo Li ilin gvidos.

They shall not be hungrie, neither shall they be thirstie, neither shall the heat smite them, nor the sunne: for he that hath compassion on them, shall leade them: euen to the springs of waters shall he driue them.

11 Kaj Mi faros ĉiujn Miajn montojn vojo, kaj Miaj vojetoj estos ebene altigitaj.

And I will make all my mountaines, as a way, and my paths shalbe exalted.

12 Jen tiuj venos de malproksime, kaj aliaj de nordo kaj de okcidento, kaj aliaj el la lando Sinim.

Beholde, these shall come from farre: and loe, these from the North and from the West, and these from the land of Sinim.

13 Ĝojkriu, ho ĉielo, kaj ĝoju, ho tero, sonigu kanton, ho montoj; ĉar la Eternulo konsolis Sian popolon kaj kompatis Siajn mizerulojn.

Reioyce, O heauens: and bee ioyfull, O earth: brast foorth into praise, O mountaines: for God hath comforted his people, and will haue mercie vpon his afflicted.

14 Sed Cion diris: La Eternulo min forlasis, kaj mia Sinjoro min forgesis.

But Zion saide, The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.

15 Ĉu povas virino forgesi sian infaneton kaj ne kompati la idon de sia ventro? eĉ se ili forgesos, Mi vin ne forgesos.

Can a woman forget her childe, and not haue compassion on the sonne of her wombe? though they should forget, yet wil I not forget thee.

16 Jen sur Miaj manoj Mi vin gravuris; viaj muroj estas ĉiam antaŭ Mi.

Behold, I haue grauen thee vpon the palme of mine hands: thy walles are euer in my sight.

17 Rapidos viaj konstruantoj; viaj detruantoj kaj viaj ekstermantoj eliros for de vi.

Thy builders make haste: thy destroiers and they that made thee waste, are departed from thee.

18 Levu ĉirkaŭen viajn okulojn, kaj rigardu: ĉiuj kolektiĝis, venas al vi. Kiel Mi vivas, diras la Eternulo, vi ĉiujn metos sur vin kiel ornamon, kaj vi ĉirkaŭligos vin per ili kiel fianĉino.

Lift vp thine eies round about and behold: all these gather themselues together and come to thee: as I liue, sayeth the Lord, thou shalt surely put them all vpon thee as a garment, and girde thy selfe with them like a bride.

19 Ĉar viaj dezertigitaj kaj senhomigitaj lokoj kaj via ruinigita lando estas tro malvastaj por la loĝantoj, kaj viaj ekstermantoj estos malproksimigitaj.

For thy desolations, and thy waste places, and thy land destroied, shall surely be now narow for them that shall dwell in it, and they that did deuoure thee, shalbe farre away.

20 Viaj malaperintaj infanoj ankoraŭ diros en viajn orelojn: Tro malvasta estas por mi la loko; cedu al mi, ke mi povu loĝi.

The children of thy barennesse shall say againe in thine eares, The place is straict for mee: giue place to me that I may dwell.

21 Tiam vi diros en via koro: Kiu naskis al mi ĉi tiujn? mi estis ja seninfana kaj soleca, elpelita kaj forpuŝita; kiu do edukis ilin? mi restis ja sola; kie do estis ĉi tiuj?

Then shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten mee these, seeing I am baren and desolate, a captiue and a wanderer to and from? and who hath nourished them? beholde, I was left alone: whence are these?

22 Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo: Jen Mi levos Mian manon al la nacioj, kaj antaŭ la gentoj Mi elmetos Mian standardon; kaj ili venigos viajn filojn en la baskoj, kaj viajn filinojn ili portos sur la ŝultroj.

Thus sayeth the Lord God, Beholde, I will lift vp mine hande to the Gentiles and set vp my stadart to the people, and they shall bring thy sonnes in their armes: and thy daughters shall be caried vpon their shoulders.

23 Kaj reĝoj estos viaj vartistoj, kaj iliaj princinoj estos viaj nutristinoj; vizaĝaltere ili kliniĝos antaŭ vi, kaj la polvon de viaj piedoj ili lekos; kaj tiam vi ekscios, ke Mi estas la Eternulo, ke Miaj fidantoj ne hontos.

And Kings shalbe thy nourcing fathers, and Queenes shalbe thy nources: they shall worship thee with their faces towarde the earth, and licke vp the dust of thy feete: and thou shalt knowe that I am the Lord: for they shall not be ashamed that waite for me.

24 Ĉu de fortulo oni povas forpreni la akiritaĵon? aŭ ĉu oni povas liberigi la kaptitojn de venkinto?

Shall the pray be taken from the mightie? or the iust captiuitie deliuered?

25 Sed tiele diras la Eternulo: Eĉ la kaptitoj estos forprenitaj for de la fortulo, kaj la akiritaĵo de la potenculo formalaperos; kaj kontraŭ viaj kverelantoj Mi kverelos, kaj viajn filojn Mi savos.

But thus sayeth the Lord, euen the captiuitie of the mightie shall be taken away: and the pray of the tyrant shall be deliuered: for I wil contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will saue thy children,

26 Kaj al viaj premantoj Mi manĝigos ilian propran karnon, kaj kiel de mosto ili ebriiĝos de sia propra sango; kaj ekscios ĉiu karno, ke Mi, la Eternulo, estas via Savanto kaj via Liberiganto, la Potenculo de Jakob.

And will feede them that spoile thee, with their owne flesh, and they shall be drunken with their owne bloode, as with sweete wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy sauiour and thy redeemer, the mighty one of Iaakob.
