Jesaja 29

1 Ve al Ariel, al Ariel, al la urbo, en kiu sidis David! aldonu jaron al jaro, la festoj faru sian ciklon.

Ah altar, altar of the citie that Dauid dwelt in: adde yere vnto yere: let them kill lambs.

2 Mi premos Arielon, kaj estos ĝemado kaj malĝojo; kaj li estos al Mi vera Ariel.

But I wil bring the altar into distresse, and there shalbe heauines and sorowe, and it shall be vnto me like an altar.

3 Kaj Mi sieĝos vin ĉirkaŭe, kaj Mi premos vin per remparo, kaj Mi starigos kontraŭ vi turojn.

And I wil besiege thee as a circle, and fight against thee on a mount, and will cast vp ramparts against thee.

4 Kaj vi parolos malalte el sub la tero, kaj el sub la polvo vi murmuros viajn vortojn; kaj via voĉo estos kiel voĉo de ventroparolisto el sub la tero, kaj el sub la polvo vi flustros viajn vortojn.

So shalt thou be humbled, and shalt speake out of the ground, and thy speach shalbe as out of the dust: thy voyce also shall be out of the ground like him that hath a spirite of diuination, and thy talking shall whisper out of the dust.

5 Sed la multego de viaj malamikoj estos kiel subtila polvo, kaj la multo de la premantoj estos kiel disfluganta grenventumaĵo; kaj tio fariĝos subite, neatendite.

Moreouer, the multitude of thy strangers shalbe like small dust, and the multitude of strong men shalbe as chaffe that passeth away, and it shall be in a moment, euen suddenly.

6 De la Eternulo Cebaot vi estos punata kun tondro kaj tertremo kaj granda bruo, kun ventego kaj turnovento kaj konsumeganta fajra flamo.

Thou shalt be visited of the Lord of hostes with thunder, and shaking, and a great noyse, a whirlewinde, and a tempest, and a flame of a deuouring fire.

7 Kaj kiel sonĝo, kiel nokta vizio estos la multo de la popoloj, kiuj batalos kontraŭ Ariel kaj kontraŭ ĉiuj liaj fortikaĵoj kaj kiuj premos lin.

And the multitude of all the nations that fight against the altar, shalbe as a dreame or vision by night: euen all they that make the warre against it, and strong holdes against it, and lay siege vnto it.

8 Kiel malsatanto sonĝas, ke li manĝas, sed li vekiĝas, kaj lia interno estas malplena; kaj kiel soifanto sonĝas, ke li trinkas, sed li vekiĝas, kaj li estas senforta kaj lia animo forte soifas: tiel estos kun la multego de ĉiuj popoloj, kiuj batalos kontraŭ la monto Cion.

And it shalbe like as an hungry man dreameth, and beholde, he eateth: and when he awaketh, his soule is emptie: or like as a thirsty man dreameth, and loe, he is drinking, and when he awaketh, beholde, he is faint, and his soule longeth: so shall the multitude of all nations be that fight against mount Zion.

9 Haltu kaj miru, ŝajnigu vin blindaj kaj blindiĝu. Ili ebriiĝis, sed ne de vino; ili ŝanceliĝas, sed ne de drinkaĵo.

Stay your selues, and wonder: they are blinde, and make you blinde: they are drunken but not with wine: they stagger, but not by strong drinke.

10 Ĉar la Eternulo verŝis sur vin spiriton de profunda dormo kaj fermis viajn okulojn, vualis la profetojn kaj viajn estrojn, la viziistojn.

For the Lord hath couered you with a spirite of slumber, and hath shut vp your eyes: the Prophets, and your chiefe Seers hath he couered.

11 Kaj ĉia vizio estos por vi kiel la vortoj de libro sigelita, kiun oni donas al homo, kiu povoscias legi, dirante al li: Volu legi ĉi tion; sed li respondas: Mi ne povas, ĉar ĝi estas sigelita.

And the vision of them all is become vnto you, as the wordes of a booke that is sealed vp, which they deliuer to one that can reade, saying, Reade this, I pray thee. Then shall he say, I can not: for it is sealed.

12 Sed kiam oni donas la libron al homo, kiu ne povoscias legi, dirante al li: Volu legi ĉi tion, li respondas: Mi ne povoscias legi.

And the booke is giuen vnto him that can not reade, saying, Reade this, I pray thee. And he shall say, I can not reade.

13 Kaj la Sinjoro diris: Ĉar ĉi tiu popolo alproksimiĝas per sia buŝo kaj honoras Min per siaj lipoj, sed ilia koro estas malproksime de Mi, kaj ilia timo antaŭ Mi estas nur lernita ordono de homoj:

Therefore the Lord sayd, Because this people come neere vnto me with their mouth, and honour me with their lips, but haue remooued their heart farre from me, and their feare toward me was taught by the precept of men,

14 tial Mi plue agos mirinde kun ĉi tiu popolo, Mi agos tre mirinde; kaj pereos la saĝeco de ĝiaj saĝuloj, kaj la kompetenteco de ĝiaj kompetentuloj malaperos.

Therefore behold, I wil againe doe a marueilous worke in this people, euen a marueilous worke, and a wonder: for the wisdome of their wise men shall perish, and the vnderstanding of their prudent men shalbe hid.

15 Ve al tiuj, kiuj profunde kaŝas antaŭ la Eternulo la intencojn, kaj kies faroj estas en mallumo, kaj kiuj diras: Kiu nin vidas? kaj kiu scias pri ni?

Wo vnto them that seeke deepe to hide their counsell from the Lord: for their workes are in darkenes, and they say, Who seeth vs? and who knoweth vs?

16 Ho, via perverseco! Ĉu la potfaristo estas rigardata kiel egala al la argilo? ĉu faritaĵo diras pri sia farinto: Li min ne faris? kaj ĉu kreitaĵo diras pri sia kreinto: Li ne estas kompetenta?

Your turning of deuises shall it not be esteemed as the potters clay? for shall the worke say of him that made it, Hee made me not? or the thing formed, say of him that facioned it, He had none vnderstanding?

17 Sed jen baldaŭ, post mallonga tempo, Lebanon aliformiĝos en fruktoportan kampon, kaj la fruktoporta kampo estos rigardata kiel arbaro.

Is it not yet but a litle while, and Lebanon shall be turned into Carmel? and Carmel shall be counted as a forest?

18 Kaj en tiu tago la surduloj aŭdos la vortojn de la libro, kaj la okuloj de la blinduloj ekvidos tra mallumo kaj nokto.

And in that day shall the deafe heare the wordes of the booke, and the eyes of the blinde shall see out of obscuritie, and out of darkenesse.

19 Kaj la mizeruloj havos grandan ĝojon en la Eternulo, kaj la homoj malriĉaj triumfos en la Sanktulo de Izrael.

The meeke in the Lord shall receiue ioye againe, and the poore men shall reioyce in the holy one of Israel.

20 Ĉar malaperos premanto, kaj ne plu ekzistos blasfemanto, kaj ekstermitaj estos ĉiuj zorgantoj pri malbonagoj,

For the cruel man shall cease, and the scornefull shalbe consumed: and all that hasted to iniquitie, shalbe cut off:

21 kiuj pekigas homojn per vorto kaj faras insidojn kontraŭ juĝopetanto ĉe la pordego kaj trompe forpuŝas justulon.

Which made a man to sinne in ye worde, and tooke him in a snare: which reproued them in the gate, and made the iust to fall without cause.

22 Pro tio tiele diris pri la domo de Jakob la Eternulo, kiu elaĉetis Abrahamon: Nun Jakob ne hontos, kaj nun lia vizaĝo ne paliĝos.

Therefore thus sayth the Lord vnto the house of Iaakob, euen hee that redeemed Abraham, Iaakob shall not now be confounded, neither now shall his face be pale.

23 Ĉar kiam li vidos meze de si siajn infanojn, la faron de Miaj manoj, ili honoros Mian nomon kaj honoros la Sanktulon de Jakob kaj respektos la Dion de Izrael.

But when he seeth his children, the worke of mine hands, in the mids of him, they shall sanctifie my Name, and sanctifie the holy one of Iaakob, and shall feare the God of Israel.

24 Kaj la spirite-erarantoj ricevos prudenton, kaj la malpacemuloj akceptos instruon.

Then they that erred in spirit, shall haue vnderstanding, and they that murmured, shall learne doctrine.
