Jesaja 27
1 En tiu tago la Eternulo punos per Sia peza kaj granda kaj forta glavo la levjatanon, la serpenton eltordiĝeman, kaj la levjatanon, la serpenton kurbiĝantan; kaj Li mortigos la drakon, kiu estas en la maro.
In that day lay a charge doth Jehovah, With his sword — the sharp, and the great, and the strong, On leviathan — a fleeing serpent, And on leviathan — a crooked serpent, And He hath slain the dragon that [is] in the sea.
2 En tiu tago kantu pri ĝi, pri la kara vinberĝardeno:
In that day, 'A desirable vineyard,' respond ye to her,
3 Mi, la Eternulo, estas ĝia gardanto; ĉiumomente Mi trinkigas ĝin; por ke neniu ĝin difektu, Mi gardas ĝin tage kaj nokte.
I, Jehovah, am its keeper, every moment I water it, Lest any lay a charge against it, Night and day I keep it!
4 Ĉu Mi ne havas koleron? ĉu iu elmetus batale kontraŭ Mi dornojn kaj pikarbustojn? Mi elpaŝus kontraŭ ilin, kaj ĉiujn kune forbruligus.
Fury is not in Me; Who giveth Me a brier — a thorn in battle? I step into it, I burn it at once.
5 Nur en la okazo, se oni serĉus Mian defendon, por fari pacon kun Mi, oni farus kun Mi pacon.
Or — he doth take hold on My strength, He doth make peace with Me, Peace he doth make with Me.
6 En la estonteco Jakob enradikiĝos; Izrael ekfloros kaj ellasos verdajn branĉojn; kaj ili plenigos la mondon per fruktoj.
Those coming in He causeth to take root, Jacob doth blossom, and flourished hath Israel, And they have filled the face of the world [with] increase.
7 Ĉu li estis frapata tiel, kiel estis frapataj liaj frapantoj? aŭ ĉu li estas mortigita tiel, kiel estas mortigitaj liaj mortigintoj?
As the smiting of his smiter hath He smitten him? As the slaying of his slain doth He slay?
8 Nur kiam la mezuro tro pleniĝis, Vi punis lin per ekzilo: Li elpelis lin per Sia potenca blovo en la tago de orienta vento.
In measure, in sending it forth, thou strivest with it, He hath taken away by His sharp wind, In the day of an east wind,
9 Tial tiamaniere estos forviŝita la malbonagado de Jakob; kaj la tuta frukto de la forigo de lia peko konsistos en tio, ke li faros ĉiujn ŝtonojn de la altaroj kiel dispeciĝintaj kalkŝtonoj, ke ne plu restu la sanktaj stangoj kaj la idoloj de la suno.
Therefore by this is the iniquity of Jacob covered, And this [is] all the fruit — To take away his sin, in His setting all the stones of an altar, As chalkstones beaten in pieces, They rise not — shrines and images.
10 Ĉar urbo fortikigita estos solecigita, loĝloko estos forlasita kaj forrestigita kiel dezerto; tie paŝtiĝos bovido, tie ĝi ripozos kaj formanĝos ĝiajn kreskaĵojn.
For the fenced city [is] alone, A habitation cast out and forsaken as a wilderness, There doth the calf delight, And there it lieth down, And hath consumed its branches.
11 Kiam sekiĝos ĝiaj branĉoj, oni ilin rompos; venos virinoj kaj forbruligos ilin. Ĉar tio ne estas popolo prudenta, tial ĝia Kreinto ne kompatos ĝin, kaj ĝia Farinto ĝin ne indulgos.
In the withering of its branch it is broken off, Women are coming in setting it on fire, For it [is] not a people of understanding, Therefore pity it not doth its Maker, And its Former doth not favour it.
12 Kaj en tiu tago la Eternulo debatos la fruktojn, komencante de la fluo de la Rivero ĝis la torento de Egiptujo; kaj vi, ho Izraelidoj, estos kolektitaj unu post unu.
And it hath come to pass, in that day, Beat out doth Jehovah from the branch of the river, Unto the stream of Egypt, And ye are gathered one by one, O sons of Israel.
13 Kaj en tiu tago oni ekblovos per granda trumpeto, kaj venos tiuj, kiuj perdiĝis en la lando Asiria kaj kiuj estis elpelitaj en la landon Egiptan, kaj ili adorkliniĝos antaŭ la Eternulo sur la sankta monto en Jerusalem.
And it hath come to pass, in that day, It is blown with a great trumpet, And come in have those perishing in the land of Asshur, And those cast out in the land of Egypt, And have bowed themselves to Jehovah, In the holy mount — in Jerusalem!
