Amos 5

1 Aŭskultu ĉi tiun vorton, per kiu mi plorkantas pri vi, ho domo de Izrael.

Here ye this word, for Y reise on you a weilyng.

2 Falis kaj ne releviĝos la virgulino de Izrael; ŝi estas ĵetita sur la teron, kaj neniu ŝin restarigos.

The hous of Israel felle doun, he schal not put to, that it rise ayen; the virgyn of Israel is cast doun in to hir lond, noon is that schal reise hir.

3 Ĉar tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo: La urbo, kiu elirigas milon, restos nur kun cento, kaj tiu, kiu elirigas centon, restos nur kun deko en la domo de Izrael.

For the Lord God seith these thingis, The citee of which a thousynde wenten out, an hundrid schulen be left ther ynne; and of which an hundrid wenten out, ten schulen be left ther ynne, in the hous of Israel.

4 Ĉar tiele diras la Eternulo al la domo de Izrael: Turnu vin al Mi, kaj tiam vi vivos.

For the Lord seith these thingis to the hous of Israel, Seke ye me, and ye schulen lyue;

5 Ne turnu vin al Bet-El, ne iru en Gilgalon, ne migru al Beer-Ŝeba; ĉar Gilgal estos elpatrujigita kaj Bet-El fariĝos senvalora.

and nyle ye seke Bethel, and nyle ye entre in to Galgala, and ye schulen not passe to Bersabee; for whi Galgal schal be led caitif, and Bethel schal be vnprofitable.

6 Turnu vin al la Eternulo, kaj vivu, por ke la domo de Jozef ne ekflamu kiel fajro, kiu ekstermos, kaj neniu estingos en Bet-El.

Seke ye the Lord, and lyue ye, lest perauenture the hous of Joseph be brent as fier; and it schal deuoure Bethel, and there schal not be, that schal quenche.

7 La juĝon vi faras vermuto, kaj la veron vi ĵetas sur la teron.

Whiche conuerten doom in to wermod, and forsaken riytwisnesse in the lond,

8 Li kreis la Plejadojn kaj Orionon; Li faras el la mallumo matenon, kaj el la tago Li faras malluman nokton; Li vokas la akvon de la maro kaj verŝas ĝin sur la teron; Lia nomo estas Eternulo.

and forsaken hym that makith Arture and Orion, and hym that turneth derknessis in to the morewtid, and him that chaungith dai in to niyt; which clepith watris of the see, and heldith out hem on the face of erthe; the Lord is name of hym.

9 Li sendas malfeliĉon sur fortulon, kaj malfeliĉo trafas urbon fortikigitan.

Which scorneth distriyng on the stronge, and bringith robbyng on the myyti.

10 Sed ili malamas tiun, kiu admonas ilin en la pordego, kaj ili abomenas tiun, kiu parolas honestaĵon.

Thei hatiden a man repreuynge in the yate, and thei wlatiden a man spekynge perfitli.

11 Tial pro tio, ke vi premas senhavulon kaj forprenas de li la panon per grandaj impostoj, vi konstruos domojn el hakitaj ŝtonoj, sed vi ne loĝos en ili; vi plantos ĉarmajn vinberĝardenojn, sed vi ne trinkos ilian vinon.

Therfor for that that ye robbiden a pore man, and token fro hym the chosun prey, ye schulen bilde housis with square stoon, and ye schulen not dwelle in hem; ye schulen plaunte moost louyd vyneyerdis, and ye schulen not drynke the wyn of hem.

12 Ĉar Mi scias, kiel multaj estas viaj krimoj kaj kiel gravaj estas viaj pekoj: vi premas virtulon, vi prenas subaĉeton, vi forpuŝas malriĉulojn en la pordego.

For Y knew youre grete trespassis many, and youre stronge synnes; enemyes of `the riytwis man, takynge yifte, and berynge doun pore men in the yate.

13 Tial la saĝulo silentas en ĉi tiu tempo, ĉar ĝi estas tempo malbona.

Therfor a prudent man schal be stille in that time, for the time is yuel.

14 Serĉu bonon, ne malbonon, por ke vi vivu; tiam la Eternulo, Dio Cebaot, estos kun vi, kiel vi diras.

Seke ye good, and not yuel, that ye lyue, and the Lord God of oostis schal be with you, as ye seiden.

15 Malamu la malbonon, amu la bonon, kaj starigu en la pordego justecon; eble la Eternulo, Dio Cebaot, indulgos la restintojn de Jozef.

Hate ye yuel, and loue ye good, and ordeyne ye in the gate doom; if perauenture the Lord God of oostis haue merci on the remenauntis of Joseph.

16 Tial tiele diras la Eternulo, Dio Cebaot, la Sinjoro: Sur ĉiuj placoj estos plorado, sur ĉiuj stratoj oni dirados: Ho ve, ho ve! kaj oni vokos la plugiston, por plori, kaj la sciantojn de funebraj kantoj, por plorkanti.

Therfor the Lord God of oostis, hauynge lordschipe, seith these thingis, Weilyng schal be in alle stretis, and in alle thingis that ben withoutforth it schal be seid, Wo! wo! and thei schulen clepe an erthe tilier to mourenyng, and hem that kunnen weile, to weilyng.

17 Kaj en ĉiuj vinberĝardenoj estos plorado, kiam Mi trairos meze de vi, diras la Eternulo.

And weilyng schal be in alle weies, for Y schal passe forth in the myddil of `the see, seith the Lord.

18 Ve al tiuj, kiuj deziras vidi la tagon de la Eternulo! por kio vi ĝin deziras? la tago de la Eternulo estas malluma, ne luma.

Wo to hem that desiren the dai of the Lord; wher to desiren ye it to you? This dai of the Lord schal be derknessis, and not liyt.

19 Tiel same, kiel se iu forkuras de leono kaj lin kaptas urso, aŭ li venis hejmen kaj apogis sian manon al muro kaj lin pikas serpento.

As if a man renne fro the face of a lioun, and a bere renne to hym; and he entre in to the hous, and lene with his hond on the wal, and a serpent dwellynge in schadewe bite hym.

20 Malluma estos ja la tago de la Eternulo, ne luma; malluma kaj sen ia brilo.

Whether the dai of the Lord schal not be derknessis, and not liyt; and myist, and not schynyng ther ynne?

21 Mi malamas, Mi abomenas viajn festojn, kaj Mi ne flaras la oferojn de viaj solenaj tagoj.

Y hatide and castide awei youre feeste daies, and Y schal not take the odour of youre cumpenyes.

22 Kiam vi alportas al Mi bruloferojn kaj viajn farunoferojn, Mi ne akceptas ilin, kaj viajn grasajn dankoferojn Mi ne rigardas.

That if ye offren to me youre brent sacrifices, and yiftis, Y schal not resseyue, and Y schal not biholde avowis of youre fatte thingis.

23 Forigu de Mi la bruon de viaj kantoj, la sonadon de viaj psalteroj Mi ne volas aŭskulti.

Do thou awei fro me the noise of thi songis, and Y schal not here the songis of thin harpe.

24 Sed justeco fluu kiel akvo, kaj vero kiel potenca torento.

And doom schal be schewid as watir, and riytfulnesse as a strong streem.

25 Ĉu buĉoferojn kaj farunoferojn vi alportadis al Mi en la dezerto dum kvardek jaroj, ho domo de Izrael?

Whether ye, the hous of Israel, offriden to me sacrifices for enemyes to be ouercomun, and sacrifice in desert fourti yeeris?

26 Vi portis la tabernaklon de via Moleĥ, la kolonon de via idolo, la stelon de via dio, kiun vi faris al vi.

And ye han bore tabernaclis to Moloch, youre god, and ymage of youre idols, the sterre of youre god, which ye maden to you.

27 Tial Mi elpatrujigos vin trans Damaskon, diras la Eternulo, kies nomo estas Dio Cebaot.

And Y schal make you for to passe ouer Damask, seide the Lord; God of oostis is the name of him.
