Psalms 86

1 A Prayer of David. Incline, O Jehovah, Thine ear, Answer me, for I [am] poor and needy.

Inclina, o! Jehová, tu oído, y óyeme: porque soy afligido y menesteroso.

2 Keep my soul, for I [am] pious, Save Thy servant — who is trusting to Thee, O Thou, my God.

Guarda mi alma, porque soy piadoso; salva a tu siervo, tú, o! Dios mío, que en ti confía.

3 Favour me, O Lord, for to Thee I call all the day.

Ten misericordia de mí, o! Jehová: porque a ti clamo todo el día.

4 Rejoice the soul of Thy servant, For unto Thee, O Lord, my soul I lift up.

Alegra el alma de tu siervo: porque a ti, o! Señor, levanto mi alma.

5 For Thou, Lord, [art] good and forgiving. And abundant in kindness to all calling Thee.

Porque tú Señor eres bueno, y perdonador: y grande en misericordia a todos los que te invocan.

6 Hear, O Jehovah, my prayer, And attend to the voice of my supplications.

Escucha, o! Jehová, mi oración, y está atento a la voz de mis ruegos.

7 In a day of my distress I call Thee, For Thou dost answer me.

En el día de mi angustia te llamaré: porque me respondes.

8 There is none like Thee among the gods, O Lord, And like Thy works there are none.

O! Señor, no hay como tú entre los dioses: ni como tus obras.

9 All nations that Thou hast made Come and bow themselves before Thee, O Lord, And give honour to Thy name.

Todas las gentes que hiciste, vendrán, y se humillarán delante de ti, Señor: y glorificarán tu nombre.

10 For great [art] Thou, and doing wonders, Thou [art] God Thyself alone.

Porque tú eres grande, y hacedor de maravillas: tú solo eres Dios.

11 Show me, O Jehovah, Thy way, I walk in Thy truth, My heart doth rejoice to fear Thy name.

Enséñame, o! Jehová, tu camino: ande yo en tu verdad: aúna mi corazón, para que tema tu nombre.

12 I confess Thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And I honour Thy name to the age.

Alabarte he, o! Jehová, Dios mío, con todo mi corazón: y glorificaré tu nombre para siempre.

13 For Thy kindness [is] great toward me, And Thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol. (Sheol h7585)

Porque tu misericordia es grande sobre mí: y escapaste mi alma del hoyo profundo. (Sheol h7585)

14 O God, the proud have risen up against me, And a company of the terrible sought my soul, And have not placed Thee before them,

O! Dios, soberbios se levantaron contra mí: y conspiración de fuertes buscaron a mi alma; y no te pusieron delante de sí.

15 And Thou, O Lord, [art] God, merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in kindness and truth.

Mas tú Señor, Dios misericordioso, y clemente, luengo de iras, y grande en misericordia y verdad;

16 Look unto me, and favour me, Give Thy strength to Thy servant, And give salvation to a son of Thine handmaid.

Mira en mí, y ten misericordia de mí: da tu fortaleza a tu siervo, y guarda al hijo de tu sierva.

17 Do with me a sign for good, And those hating me see and are ashamed, For Thou, O Jehovah, hast helped me, Yea, Thou hast comforted me!

Haz conmigo señal para bien, y veán la los que me aborrecen, y sean avergonzados: porque tú, Jehová, me ayudaste y me consolaste.
