Psalms 66

1 To the Overseer. — A Song, a Psalm. Shout ye to God, all the earth.

౧ప్రధాన సంగీతకారుని కోసం సర్వలోకమా, దేవుని గూర్చి ఆనంద ధ్వనులు చెయ్యి. ఆయన బలమైన నామాన్ని కీర్తించండి.

2 Praise ye the honour of His name, Make ye honourable His praise.

౨ఆయన నామానికి మహిమ ఆపాదించండి. ఆయనకు స్తోత్రాలు చెప్పండి.

3 Say to God, 'How fearful [are] Thy works, By the abundance of Thy strength, Thine enemies feign obedience to Thee.

౩నీ కార్యాలు ఎంతో భీకరమైనవి. నీ మహా శక్తిని బట్టి నీ శత్రువులు నీకు లోబడతారు.

4 All the earth do bow to Thee, They sing praise to Thee, they praise Thy name.' (Selah)

౪లోకమంతా నీకు నమస్కరించి నిన్ను కీర్తిస్తుంది, నీ నామాన్నిబట్టి నిన్ను కీర్తిస్తుంది, అంటూ దేవుణ్ణి ఘనపరచండి. (సెలా)

5 Come ye, and see the works of God, Fearful acts toward the sons of men.

౫దేవుని ఆశ్చర్యకార్యాలు వచ్చి చూడండి. మనుషులకు ఆయన చేసే కార్యాలు చూసినప్పుడు ఆయన భీకరుడుగా ఉన్నాడు.

6 He hath turned a sea to dry land, Through a river they pass over on foot, There do we rejoice in Him.

౬ఆయన సముద్రాన్ని ఎండిన భూమిగా చేశాడు. ప్రజలు కాలినడకన నదిని దాటారు. అక్కడ ఆయనలో మేము సంతోషించాము.

7 Ruling by His might to the age, His eyes among the nations do watch, The refractory exalt not themselves. (Selah)

౭ఆయన తన పరాక్రమంతో శాశ్వతంగా ఏలుతాడు. ఆయన కళ్ళు అన్యజాతులను పరిశీలిస్తాయి. తిరుగుబాటుచేసే ప్రజలు తమలో తాము గర్వించవద్దు.

8 Bless, ye peoples, our God, And sound the voice of His praise,

౮జనాల్లారా, మా దేవుణ్ణి సన్నుతించండి. స్వరమెత్తి ఆయన కీర్తిని వినిపించండి.

9 Who hath placed our soul in life, And suffered not our feet to be moved.

౯మా ప్రాణాలను జీవంతో నింపేది ఆయనే. ఆయన మా నడకలు స్థిరంగా ఉంచుతాడు.

10 For Thou hast tried us, O God, Thou hast refined us as the refining of silver.

౧౦దేవా, నువ్వు మమ్మల్ని పరీక్షించావు. వెండిని పరీక్షించి నిర్మలం చేసినట్టు మమ్మల్ని పరీక్షకు గురిచేశావు.

11 Thou hast brought us into a net, Thou hast placed pressure on our loins.

౧౧మమ్మల్ని ఒక వలలో ఇరుక్కునేలా చేశావు. మా నడుముల మీద పెద్ద బరువు పెట్టావు.

12 Thou hast caused man to ride at our head. We have entered into fire and into water, And Thou bringest us out to a watered place.

౧౨మనుషులు మా మీద ఎక్కి స్వారీ చేస్తున్నారు. మేము నిప్పులగుండా నీళ్ళ గుండా నడిచి వెళ్ళాం. అయినా నువ్వు మమ్మల్ని విశాలమైన స్థలానికి రప్పించావు.

13 I enter Thy house with burnt-offerings, I complete to Thee my vows,

౧౩దహనబలులతో నేను నీ మందిరంలోకి వస్తాను.

14 For opened were my lips, And my mouth spake in my distress:

౧౪నేను బాధల్లో ఉన్నప్పుడు నా పెదాలు, నా నోరు ప్రమాణం చేసిన మొక్కుబడులు నేను నీకు అర్పిస్తాను.

15 'Burnt-offerings of fatlings I offer to Thee, With perfume of rams, I prepare a bullock with he-goats.' (Selah)

౧౫పొట్టేళ్ల హోమం ఘుమఘుమలతో కొవ్విన జంతువులను నీకు దహనబలిగా అర్పిస్తాను. ఎద్దులను, పోతుమేకలను అర్పిస్తాను.

16 Come, hear, all ye who fear God, And I recount what he did for my soul.

౧౬దేవునిలో భయభక్తులు గలవారంతా వచ్చి వినండి, ఆయన నా కోసం చేసిన కార్యాలు నేను వినిపిస్తాను.

17 Unto Him [with] my mouth I have called, And exaltation [is] under my tongue.

౧౭ఆయనకు నేను మొరపెట్టాను. అప్పుడే నా నాలుక ఆయన్ని కీర్తించింది.

18 Iniquity, if I have seen in my heart, The Lord doth not hear.

౧౮నేను నా హృదయంలో పాపాన్ని ఉంచుకుంటే ప్రభువు నా మనవి అంగీకరించడు.

19 But God hath heard, He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

౧౯కానీ దేవుడు నా మనవి అంగీకరించాడు. ఆయన నా విన్నపాన్ని ఆలకించాడు.

20 Blessed [is] God, Who hath not turned aside my prayer, And His loving-kindness, from me!

౨౦దేవుడు నా ప్రార్థనను తోసిపుచ్చలేదు, నా నుండి తన కృపను తీసివేయలేదు. ఆయనకు స్తుతి కలుగు గాక.
