Psalms 33
1 Sing, ye righteous, in Jehovah, For upright ones praise [is] comely.
Cantád justos en Jehová: a los rectos es hermosa la alabanza.
2 Give ye thanks to Jehovah with a harp, With psaltery of ten strings sing praise to Him,
Celebrád a Jehová con arpa: con salterio y decacordio cantád a él.
3 Sing ye to Him a new song, Play skilfully with shouting.
Cantád a él canción nueva: hacéd bien tañendo con júbilo.
4 For upright [is] the word of Jehovah, And all His work [is] in faithfulness.
Porque derecha es la palabra de Jehová: y toda su obra con verdad.
5 Loving righteousness and judgment, Of the kindness of Jehovah is the earth full.
Él ama justicia y juicio: de la misericordia de Jehová está llena la tierra.
6 By the word of Jehovah The heavens have been made, And by the breath of His mouth all their host.
Con la palabra de Jehová fueron hechos los cielos: y con el espíritu de su boca todo el ejército de ellos.
7 Gathering as a heap the waters of the sea, Putting in treasuries the depths.
El junta, como en un montón, las aguas de la mar: él pone por tesoros los abismos.
8 Afraid of Jehovah are all the earth, Of Him are all the inhabitants of the world afraid.
Teman a Jehová toda la tierra: teman de él todos los habitadores del mundo.
9 For He hath said, and it is, He hath commanded, and it standeth.
Porque él dijo, y fue; él mandó y estuvo.
10 Jehovah made void the counsel of nations, He disallowed the thoughts of the peoples.
Jehová hace anular el consejo de las gentes, y él hace anular las maquinaciones de los pueblos.
11 The counsel of Jehovah to the age standeth, The thoughts of His heart to all generations.
El consejo de Jehová permanecerá para siempre; los pensamientos de su corazón, por generación y generación.
12 O the happiness of the nation whose God [is] Jehovah, Of the people He did choose, For an inheritance to Him.
Bienaventurada la gente a quien Jehová es su Dios: el pueblo a quien escogió por heredad para sí.
13 From the heavens hath Jehovah looked, He hath seen all the sons of men.
Desde los cielos miró Jehová; vio a todos los hijos de Adam.
14 From the fixed place of His dwelling, He looked unto all inhabitants of the earth;
Desde la morada de su asiento miró sobre todos los moradores de la tierra.
15 Who is forming their hearts together, Who is attending unto all their works.
El formó el corazón de todos ellos; él entiende todas sus obras.
16 The king is not saved by the multitude of a force. A mighty man is not delivered, By abundance of power.
El rey no es salvo con la multitud del ejército; el valiente no escapa con la mucha fuerza.
17 A false thing [is] the horse for safety, And by the abundance of his strength He doth not deliver.
Vanidad es el caballo para la salud; con la multitud de su fuerza no escapa.
18 Lo, the eye of Jehovah [is] to those fearing Him, To those waiting for His kindness,
He aquí, el ojo de Jehová sobre los que le temen; sobre los que esperan su misericordia;
19 To deliver from death their soul, And to keep them alive in famine.
Para librar de la muerte a sus almas; y para darles vida en la hambre.
20 Our soul hath waited for Jehovah, Our help and our shield [is] He,
Nuestra alma esperó a Jehová; nuestro ayudador y nuestro escudo es él.
21 For in Him doth our heart rejoice, For in His holy name we have trusted.
Por tanto en él se alegrará nuestro corazón, porque en su santo nombre hemos confiado.
22 Let Thy kindness, O Jehovah, be upon us, As we have waited for Thee!
Sea tu misericordia, o! Jehová, sobre nosotros, como te hemos esperado.
