Isaiah 14
1 Because Jehovah loveth Jacob, And hath fixed again on Israel, And given them rest on their own land, And joined hath been the sojourner to them, And they have been admitted to the house of Jacob.
౧యెహోవా యాకోబు మీద జాలిపడతాడు. ఆయన మళ్ళీ ఇశ్రాయేలును ఎంపిక చేసుకుని వారికి తమ స్వదేశంలో పూర్వ క్షేమ స్థితి కలిగిస్తాడు. పరదేశులు వాళ్ళల్లో కలిసి, యాకోబు సంతతితో జత కూడుతారు.
2 And peoples have taken them, And have brought them in unto their place, And the house of Israel have inherited them, On the land of Jehovah, For men-servants and for maid-servants, And they have been captors of their captors, And have ruled over their exactors.
౨ఇతర జాతులు వాళ్ళను తమ సొంత దేశానికి తీసుకు పోతారు. ఇశ్రాయేలు వంశస్థులు యెహోవా దేశంలో వాళ్ళను దాసదాసీలుగా ఉపయోగించుకుంటారు. తమను బందీలుగా పట్టుకున్న వాళ్ళను వాళ్ళు బందీలుగా పట్టుకుంటారు. తమను బాధించిన వాళ్ళ మీద పరిపాలన చేస్తారు.
3 And it hath come to pass, In the day of Jehovah's giving rest to thee, From thy grief, and from thy trouble, And from the sharp bondage, That hath been served upon thee,
౩ఆ రోజున నీ బాధ నుంచి, నీ వేదన నుంచి, నువ్వు చెయ్యాల్సి వచ్చిన కష్టం నుంచి యెహోవా నీకు విశ్రాంతి ఇస్తాడు.
4 That thou hast taken up this simile Concerning the king of Babylon, and said, How hath the exactor ceased,
౪ఆ రోజున నువ్వు బబులోను రాజు గూర్చి ఎగతాళి పాట ఎత్తి ఇలా పాడతావు. “బాధించిన వాళ్లకు అంతం ఎలా వచ్చిందో చూడు. గర్వించిన రౌద్రం ఎలా అంతమయ్యిందో చూడు!
5 Ceased hath the golden one. Broken hath Jehovah the staff of the wicked, The sceptre of rulers.
౫దుష్టుల దుడ్డుకర్రనూ, ఎడతెగని హత్యలతో జాతులను క్రూరంగా కొట్టిన పాలకుల రాజదండాన్ని యెహోవా విరగ్గొట్టాడు.
6 He who is smiting peoples in wrath, A smiting without intermission, He who is ruling in anger nations, Pursuing without restraint!
౬వాళ్ళు ఆగ్రహంతో నిరంకుశ బలత్కారంతో జాతులను లోబరచుకున్నారు.
7 At rest — quiet hath been all the earth, They have broken forth [into] singing.
౭భూలోకమంతా నిమ్మళించి విశ్రాంతిగా ఉంది. వాళ్ళు పాటలతో తమ సంబరాలు మొదలు పెట్టారు.
8 Even firs have rejoiced over thee, Cedars of Lebanon — [saying]: Since thou hast lain down, The hewer cometh not up against us.
౮నిన్ను గూర్చి తమాల వృక్షాలు, లెబానోను దేవదారు వృక్షాలు సంతోషిస్తూ ఇలా అంటాయి, ‘నువ్వు ఓడిపోయినప్పట్నుంచి చెట్లు నరికే వాడెవడూ మమ్మల్ని నరకడానికి మా మీదకు రాలేదు.’
9 Sheol beneath hath been troubled at thee, To meet thy coming in, It is waking up for thee Rephaim, All chiefs ones of earth, It hath raised up from their thrones All kings of nations. (Sheol h7585)
౯నువ్వు ప్రవేశిస్తూ ఉండగానే నిన్ను ఎదుర్కోడానికి పాతాళం నీ కోసం ఆసక్తిగా ఎదురు చూస్తోంది. అది నీ కోసం చనిపోయిన వాళ్ళను లేపుతోంది. భూరాజులందరినీ, జనాల రాజులందరినీ వాళ్ళ సింహాసనాల మీద నుంచి లేపుతోంది. (Sheol h7585)
10 All of them answer and say unto thee, Even thou hast become weak like us! Unto us thou hast become like!
౧౦వాళ్ళందరూ నిన్ను చూసి, నువ్వు కూడా మాలాగే బలహీనుడివయ్యావు. నువ్వూ మాలాంటి వాడివయ్యావు.
11 Brought down to Sheol hath been thine excellency, The noise of thy psaltery, Under thee spread out hath been the worm, Yea, covering thee is the worm. (Sheol h7585)
౧౧నీ ఆడంబరం, నీ తీగ వాయిద్య స్వరం పాతాళానికి పడిపోయాయి. నీ కింద పురుగులు వ్యాపిస్తాయి. క్రిములు నిన్ను కప్పుతాయి. (Sheol h7585)
12 How hast thou fallen from the heavens, O shining one, son of the dawn! Thou hast been cut down to earth, O weakener of nations.
౧౨తేజోనక్షత్రమా, వేకువచుక్కా, ఆకాశం నుంచి నువ్వెలా పడిపోయావు? జాతులను కూల్చిన నువ్వు నేలమట్టం వరకూ ఎలా తెగి పడిపోయావు?
13 And thou saidst in thy heart: the heavens I go up, Above stars of God I raise my throne, And I sit in the mount of meeting in the sides of the north.
౧౩నువ్వు నీ హృదయంలో, ‘నేను ఆకాశానికి ఎక్కిపోతాను, దేవుని నక్షత్రాలకన్నా ఎత్తుగా నా సింహాసనాన్ని గొప్ప చేసుకుంటాను, ఉత్తరం వైపు ఉన్న సభాపర్వతం మీద కూర్చుంటాను,
14 I go up above the heights of a thick cloud, I am like to the Most High.
౧౪మేఘమండలం మీదకు ఎక్కుతాను, మహోన్నతుడైన దేవునితో నన్ను సమానంగా చేసుకుంటాను’ అనుకున్నావు.
౧౫అయితే నువ్వు ఇప్పుడు పాతాళపు లోతుల్లోకి దిగిపోయావు. నరకంలో పడి ఉన్నావు. (Sheol h7585)
16 Thy beholders look to thee, to thee they attend, Is this the man causing the earth to tremble, Shaking kingdoms?
౧౬నిన్ను చూసిన వాళ్ళు నిన్ను నిదానించి చూస్తూ ఇలా అంటారు,
17 He hath made the world as a wilderness, And his cities he hath broken down, Of his bound ones he opened not the house.
౧౭‘భూమిని కంపింపజేసి రాజ్యాలను వణకించినవాడు ఇతడేనా? లోకాన్ని నిర్జన ప్రదేశంగా చేసి, దాని పట్టణాలను పాడు చేసినవాడు ఇతడేనా? తాను చెరపట్టిన వాళ్ళను తమ నివాసస్థలానికి వెళ్ళనివ్వనివాడు ఇతడేనా?’
18 All kings of nations — all of them, Have lain down in honour, each in his house,
౧౮జాతులన్నిటి రాజులందరూ ఘనత వహించినవారై తమ తమ సమాధుల్లో నిద్రిస్తున్నారు.
19 And — thou hast been cast out of thy grave, As an abominable branch, raiment of the slain, Thrust through ones of the sword, Going down unto the sons of the pit, As a carcase trodden down.
౧౯కానీ నువ్వు పారేసిన కొమ్మలా ఉన్నావు. కత్తివాత చచ్చిన శవాలు నిన్ను కప్పుతున్నాయి. అగాధంలో ఉన్న రాళ్ళ దగ్గరికి దిగిపోయిన వాళ్ళ శవాలు నిన్ను కప్పుతున్నాయి. నువ్వు తొక్కేసిన పీనుగులా అయ్యావు.
20 Thou art not united with them in burial, For thy land thou hast destroyed, Thy people thou hast slain, Not named to the age is the seed of evil doers.
౨౦నీవు నీ దేశాన్ని పాడుచేసి నీ ప్రజలను హతం చేశావు. వాళ్ళతో పాటు నువ్వు సమాధిలో ఉండవు. దుష్టుల సంతానం ఎన్నడూ జ్ఞాపకానికి రాదు.
21 Prepare ye for his sons slaughter; Because of the iniquity of their fathers, They rise not, nor have possessed the land, Nor filled the face of the world [with] cities.
౨౧తమ పూర్వీకుల అపరాధం కారణంగా అతని కొడుకులను హతం చేసే స్థలం సిద్ధం చెయ్యండి. వాళ్ళు పెరిగి భూమిని స్వాధీనం చేసుకుని పట్టణాలతో లోకాన్ని నింపకూడదు.”
22 And I have risen up against them, (The affirmation of Jehovah of Hosts, ) And have cut off, in reference to Babylon, Name and remnant, and continuator and successor, The affirmation of Jehovah.
౨౨సైన్యాలకు అధిపతి అయిన యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే “నేను వాళ్ళ మీదకు లేచి, బబులోనుకు దాని పేరునూ, శేషించిన వారినీ, సంతానాన్నీ లేకుండా కొట్టేస్తాను.” ఇది యెహోవా ప్రకటన.
23 And have made it for a possession of a bittern, And ponds of waters, And daubed it with the mire of destruction, The affirmation of Jehovah of Hosts!
౨౩“నేను దాన్ని గుడ్లగూబల స్వాధీనం చేస్తాను. దాన్ని నీటి మడుగులుగా చేస్తాను. నాశనం అనే చీపురుకట్టతో దాన్ని తుడిచి పెట్టేస్తాను.” ఇది సైన్యాలకు అధిపతి అయిన యెహోవా ప్రకటన.
24 Sworn hath Jehovah of Hosts, saying, 'As I thought — so hath it not been? And as I counselled — it standeth;
౨౪సైన్యాలకు అధిపతి అయిన యెహోవా ప్రమాణపూర్వకంగా ఇలా అంటున్నాడు. “కచ్చితంగా నేను ఉద్దేశించినట్టే అది జరుగుతుంది. నేను యోచన చేసినట్టే అది ఉంటుంది.
25 To break Asshur in My land, And on My mountains I tread him down, And turned from off them hath his yoke, Yea, his burden from off their shoulder turneth aside.
౨౫నా దేశంలో అష్షూరును విరగ్గొడతాను. నా పర్వతాల మీద అతన్ని నా కాళ్ళ కింద తొక్కుతాను. అప్పుడు అతని కాడి నా ప్రజల మీద నుంచి తొలగిపోతుంది. అతని భారం వాళ్ళ భుజాల మీద నుంచి తేలిపోతుంది.
26 This [is] the counsel that is counselled for all the earth, And this [is] the hand that is stretched out for all the nations.
౨౬సర్వలోకం గురించి నేను చేసిన ఆలోచన ఇదే. జాతులన్నిటి మీదా చాపిన చెయ్యి ఇదే.
27 For Jehovah of Hosts hath purposed, And who doth make void? And His hand that is stretched out, Who doth turn it back?'
౨౭సైన్యాలకు అధిపతి అయిన యెహోవా దాన్ని ఆలోచించాడు. ఆయన్ని ఆపేవాడెవడు? ఆయన చెయ్యి ఎత్తి ఉంది. దాన్ని ఎవడు వెనక్కి తిప్పుతాడు?”
28 In the year of the death of king Ahaz was this burden:
౨౮రాజైన ఆహాజు చనిపోయిన సంవత్సరం ఈ ప్రకటన వచ్చింది,
29 Rejoice not thou, Philistia, all of thee, That broken hath been the rod of thy smiter, For from the root of a serpent cometh out a viper, And its fruit [is] a flying saraph.
౨౯“ఫిలిష్తియా, నిన్ను కొట్టిన దండం విరిగిపోయిందని సంతోషించకు. ఆ సర్పవంశం నుంచి కట్లపాము వస్తుంది. దాని సంతానం, రెక్కల అగ్ని సర్పం.
30 And delighted have the first-born of the poor, And the needy in confidence lie down, And I have put to death with famine thy root, And thy remnant it slayeth.
౩౦అప్పుడు పేదలకే పేదలైన వారు భోజనం చేస్తారు. నిరాశ్రయులు క్షేమంగా పండుకుంటారు. కాని, నేను నీ సంతానాన్ని కరువుతో చంపేస్తాను. అది నీలో మిగిలిన వాళ్ళను హతం చేస్తుంది.
31 Howl, O gate; cry, O city, Melted art thou, Philistia, all of thee, For from the north smoke hath come, And there is none alone in his set places.
౩౧ద్వారమా, ప్రలాపించు. పట్టణమా, అంగలార్చు. ఫిలిష్తియా, నువ్వు పూర్తిగా కరిగిపోతావు. ఎందుకంటే ఉత్తరం నుంచి పొగ మేఘం వస్తున్నది. బారులు తీరిన సైన్యంలో వెనుతిరిగే వాడు ఒక్కడూ లేడు.
32 And what doth one answer the messengers of a nation? 'That Jehovah hath founded Zion, And in it do the poor of His people trust!'
౩౨ఆ దేశ వార్తాహరుడికి ఇవ్వాల్సిన జవాబేది? యెహోవా సీయోనును స్థాపించాడు. ఆయన ప్రజల్లో బాధకు గురైన వాళ్లకు దానిలో ఆశ్రయం దొరుకుతుంది.”
