1 Corinthians 3
1 And I, brethren, was not able to speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly — as to babes in Christ;
Hermanos, no podía hablaros como a espirituales, sino como a carnales, como a bebés en Cristo.
2 with milk I fed you, and not with meat, for ye were not yet able, but not even yet are ye now able,
Os he alimentado con leche, no con alimentos sólidos, porque aún no estáis preparados. De hecho, no estáis preparados ni siquiera ahora,
3 for yet ye are fleshly, for where [there is] among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not fleshly, and in the manner of men do walk?
porque todavía sois carnales. Porque en cuanto a los celos, las disputas y las facciones entre vosotros, ¿no sois carnales y no andáis por los caminos de los hombres?
4 for when one may say, 'I, indeed, am of Paul;' and another, 'I — of Apollos;' are ye not fleshly?
Porque cuando uno dice: “Yo sigo a Pablo”, y otro: “Yo sigo a Apolos”, ¿no sois carnales?
5 Who, then, is Paul, and who Apollos, but ministrants through whom ye did believe, and to each as the Lord gave?
¿Quién es, pues, Apolos y quién Pablo, sino servidores por medio de los cuales creísteis, y cada uno según le dio el Señor?
6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God was giving growth;
Yo planté. Apolos regó. Pero el crecimiento lo dio Dios.
7 so that neither is he who is planting anything, nor he who is watering, but He who is giving growth — God;
Así que ni el que planta es algo, ni el que riega, sino Dios que da el crecimiento.
8 and he who is planting and he who is watering are one, and each his own reward shall receive, according to his own labour,
Ahora bien, el que planta y el que riega son lo mismo, pero cada uno recibirá su propia recompensa según su trabajo.
9 for of God we are fellow-workmen; God's tillage, God's building ye are.
Porque nosotros somos colaboradores de Dios. Vosotros sois labradores de Dios, constructores de Dios.
10 According to the grace of God that was given to me, as a wise master-builder, a foundation I have laid, and another doth build on [it],
Según la gracia de Dios que me fue concedida, como sabio maestro de obras puse un fundamento, y otro construye sobre él. Pero que cada uno tenga cuidado de cómo construye sobre él.
11 for other foundation no one is able to lay except that which is laid, which is Jesus the Christ;
Porque nadie puede poner otro fundamento que el que está puesto, que es Jesucristo.
12 and if any one doth build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw —
Pero si alguien construye sobre el fundamento con oro, plata, piedras preciosas, madera, heno o paja,
13 of each the work shall become manifest, for the day shall declare [it], because in fire it is revealed, and the work of each, what kind it is, the fire shall prove;
la obra de cada uno será revelada. Porque el Día lo declarará, porque se revela en el fuego; y el fuego mismo probará qué clase de obra es la de cada uno.
14 if of any one the work doth remain that he built on [it], a wage he shall receive;
Si la obra de algún hombre permanece lo que construyó, recibirá una recompensa.
15 if of any the work is burned up, he shall suffer loss; and himself shall be saved, but so as through fire.
Si la obra de alguno se quema, sufrirá pérdida, pero él mismo se salvará, pero como a través del fuego.
16 have ye not known that ye are a sanctuary of God, and the Spirit of God doth dwell in you?
¿No saben que ustedes son el templo de Dios y que el Espíritu de Dios vive en ustedes?
17 if any one the sanctuary of God doth waste, him shall God waste; for the sanctuary of God is holy, the which ye are.
Si alguien destruye el templo de Dios, Dios lo destruirá a él, porque el templo de Dios, que ustedes son, es santo.
18 Let no one deceive himself; if any one doth seem to be wise among you in this age — let him become a fool, that he may become wise, (aiōn g165)
Que nadie se engañe a sí mismo. Si alguno se cree sabio entre vosotros en este mundo, que se haga tonto para llegar a ser sabio. (aiōn g165)
19 for the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God, for it hath been written, 'Who is taking the wise in their craftiness;'
Porque la sabiduría de este mundo es una tontería para Dios. Porque está escrito: “Él ha tomado a los sabios en su astucia”.
20 and again, 'The Lord doth know the reasonings of the wise, that they are vain.'
Y también: “El Señor conoce el razonamiento de los sabios, que es inútil”.
21 So then, let no one glory in men, for all things are yours,
Por tanto, que nadie se jacte en los hombres. Porque todas las cosas son vuestras,
22 whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things about to be — all are yours,
ya sea Pablo, o Apolos, o Cefas, o el mundo, o la vida, o la muerte, o las cosas presentes, o las cosas por venir. Todo es vuestro,
23 and ye [are] Christ's, and Christ [is] God's.
y vosotros sois de Cristo, y Cristo es de Dios.
