Genesis 21
1 Forsothe God visitide Sare, as he bihiyte, and fillide tho thingis, that he spak.
और ख़ुदावन्द ने जैसा उसने फ़रमाया था, सारा पर नज़र की और उसने अपने वादे के मुताबिक़ सारा से किया।
2 And sche conseyuede, and childide a sone in hir eeld, in the tyme wherynne God biforseide to hir.
तब सारा हामिला हुई और अब्रहाम के लिए उसके बुढ़ापे में उसी मुक़र्रर वक़्त पर जिसका ज़िक्र ख़ुदा ने उससे किया था, उसके बेटा हुआ।
3 And Abraham clepide the name of his sone, whom Sare childide to him, Ysaac.
और अब्रहाम ने अपने बेटे का नाम जो उससे, सारा के पैदा हुआ इस्हाक़ रख्खा।
4 And Abraham circumcidide hym in the eiyte dai, as God comaundide to him,
और अब्रहाम ने ख़ुदा के हुक्म के मुताबिक़ अपने बेटे इस्हाक़ का ख़तना, उस वक़्त किया जब वह आठ दिन का हुआ।
5 whanne he was of an hundrid yeer; for Ysaac was borun in this age of the fadir.
और जब उसका बेटा इस्हाक़ उससे पैदा हुआ तो अब्रहाम सौ साल का था।
6 And Sare seide, The Lord made leiyynge to me, and who euer schal here schal leiye with me.
और सारा ने कहा, कि ख़ुदा ने मुझे हँसाया और सब सुनने वाले मेरे साथ हँसेंगे।
7 And eft sche seide, Who schulde here, and bileue to Abraham, that Sare schulde yyue soukyng to a sone, whom sche childide to him now an eld man?
और यह भी कहा कि भला कोई अब्रहाम से कह सकता था कि सारा लड़कों को दूध पिलाएगी? क्यूँकि उससे उसके बुढ़ापे में मेरे एक बेटा हुआ।
8 Therfor the child encreesside, and was wenyd; and Abraham made a greet feeste in the dai of his wenyng.
और वह लड़का बढ़ा और उसका दूध छुड़ाया गया और इस्हाक़ के दूध छुड़ाने के दिन अब्रहाम ने बड़ी दावत की।
9 And whanne Sare seiy the sone of Agar Egipcian pleiynge with Ysaac hir sone, sche seide to Abraham,
और सारा ने देखा कि हाजिरा मिस्री का बेटा जो उसके अब्रहाम से हुआ था, ठट्ठे मारता है।
10 Cast thou out the handmayde and hir sone; for the sone of the handmayde schal not be eir with my sone Ysaac.
तब उसने अब्रहाम से कहा कि इस लौंडी को और उसके बेटे को निकाल दे, क्यूँकि इस लौंडी का बेटा मेरे बेटे इस्हाक़ के साथ वारिस न होगा।
11 Abraham took this heuyli for his sone;
लेकिन अब्रहाम को उसके बेटे के ज़रिए' यह बात निहायत बुरी मा'लूम हुई।
12 and God seide to hym, Be it not seyn scharp to thee on the child, and on thin handmayde; alle thingis whiche Sare seith to thee, here thou hir vois, for in Isaac seed schal be clepid to thee;
और ख़ुदा ने अब्रहाम से कहा कि तुझे इस लड़के और अपनी लौंडी की वजह से बुरा न लगे; जो कुछ सारा तुझ से कहती है तू उसकी बात मान क्यूँकि इस्हाक़ से तेरी नसल का नाम चलेगा।
13 but also I schal make the sone of the handmaid in to a greet folk, for he is thi seed.
और इस लौंडी के बेटे से भी मैं एक क़ौम पैदा करूँगा, इसलिए कि वह तेरी नसल है।
14 And so Abraham roos eerli, and took breed, and a botel of watir, and puttide on hir schuldre, and bitook the child, and lefte hir; and whanne sche hadde go, sche yede out of the weie in the wildirnesse of Bersabee.
तब अब्रहाम ने सुबह सवेरे उठ कर रोटी और पानी की एक मश्क ली और उसे हाजिरा को दिया, बल्कि उसे उसके कन्धे पर रख दिया और लड़के को भी उसके हवाले करके उसे रुख़सत कर दिया। इसलिए वह चली गई और बैरसबा' के वीराने में आवारा फिरने लगी।
15 And whanne the watir in the botel was endid, sche castide awei the child vndur a tre that was there;
और जब मश्क का पानी ख़त्म हो गया तो उसने लड़के को एक झाड़ी के नीचे डाल दिया।
16 and sche yede awei, and sche sat euene ayens as fer as a bowe may caste; for sche seide, Y schal not se the child diynge; and sche sat ayens, and reiside hir vois, and wepte.
और ख़ुद उसके सामने एक टप्पे के किनारे पर दूर जा कर बैठी और कहने लगी कि मैं इस लड़के का मरना तो न देखूँ। इसलिए वह उसके सामने बैठ गई और ज़ोर ज़ोर से रोने लगी।
17 Forsothe the Lord herde the vois of the child, and the aungel of the Lord clepide Agar fro heuene, and seide, What doist thou, Agar? nyle thou drede, for God hath herd the vois of the child fro the place where ynne he is.
और ख़ुदा ने उस लड़के की आवाज़ सुनी और ख़ुदा के फ़रिश्ता ने आसमान से हाजिरा को पुकारा और उससे कहा, “ऐ हाजिरा, तुझ को क्या हुआ? मत डर, क्यूँकि ख़ुदा ने उस जगह से जहाँ लड़का पड़ा है उसकी आवाज़ सुन ली है।
18 Rise thou, and take the child, and holde his hoond; for Y schal make hym in to a greet folc.
उठ, और लड़के को उठा और उसे अपने हाथ से संभाल; क्यूँकि मैं उसको एक बड़ी क़ौम बनाऊँगा।”
19 And God openyde hir iyen, and sche seiy a pit of watir, and sche yede, and fillide the botel, and sche yaf drynk to the child;
फिर ख़ुदा ने उसकी आँखें खोलीं और उसने पानी का एक कुआँ देखा, और जाकर मश्क को पानी से भर लिया और लड़के को पिलाया।
20 and was with him, and he encresside, and dwellide in wildernesse, and he was maad a yong man an archer,
और ख़ुदा उस लड़के के साथ था और वह बड़ा हुआ और वीराने में रहने लगा और तीरंदाज़ बना।
21 and dwellide in the deseert of Faran; and his modir took to him a wijf of the lond of Egipt.
और वह फ़ारान के वीराने में रहता था, और उसकी माँ ने मुल्क — ए — मिस्र से उसके लिए बीवी ली।
22 In the same tyme Abymelech, and Ficol, prince of his oost, seide to Abraham, God is with thee in alle thingis whiche thou doist;
फिर उस वक़्त यूँ हुआ, कि अबीमलिक और उसके लश्कर के सरदार फ़ीकुल ने अब्रहाम से कहा कि हर काम में जो तू करता है ख़ुदा तेरे साथ है।
23 therfore swere thou bi God that thou noye not me, and myn eiris, and my kynrede; but bi the mersi whych Y dide to thee, do thou to me, and to the lond in which thou lyuedist a comelyng.
इसलिए तू अब मुझ से ख़ुदा की क़सम खा, कि तू न मुझ से न मेरे बेटे से और न मेरे पोते से दग़ा करेगा; बल्कि जो मेहरबानी मैंने तुझ पर की है वैसे ही तू भी मुझ पर और इस मुल्क पर, जिसमें तूने क़याम किया है, करेगा।
24 And Abraham seide, Y schal swere.
तब अब्रहाम ने कहा, “मैं क़सम खाऊँगा।”
25 And he blamyde Abymelech for the pit of watir, which hise seruauntis token awey bi violence.
और अब्रहाम ने पानी के एक कुएँ की वजह से, जिसे अबीमलिक के नौकरों ने ज़बरदस्ती छीन लिया था, अबीमलिक को झिड़का।
26 And Abymelech answerde, I wiste not who dide this thing, but also thou schewidist not to me, and Y herde not outakun to dai.
अबीमलिक ने कहा, “मुझे ख़बर नहीं कि किसने यह काम किया, और तूने भी मुझे नहीं बताया, न मैंने आज से पहले इसके बारे में कुछ सुना।”
27 And so Abraham took scheep and oxun, and yaf to Abymalech, and bothe smyten a boond of pees.
फिर अब्रहाम ने भेड़ बकरियाँ और गाय — बैल लेकर अबीमलिक को दिए और दोनों ने आपस में 'अहद किया।
28 And Abraham settide seuene ewe lambren of the flok asidis half.
अब्रहाम ने भेड़ के सात मादा बच्चों को लेकर अलग रख्खा।
29 And Abymelech seide to hym, What wolen these seuene ewe lambren to hem silf, whiche thou madist stonde asidis half?
और अबीमलिक ने अब्रहाम से कहा कि भेड़ के इन सात मादा बच्चों को अलग रखने से तेरा मतलब क्या है?
30 And he seide, Thou schalt take of myn hond seuene ewe lambren, that tho be in to witnessyng to me, for Y diggide this pit.
उसने कहा, कि भेड़ के इन सात मादा बच्चों को तू मेरे हाथ से ले ताकि वह मेरे गवाह हों कि मैंने यह कुआँ खोदा।
31 Therfor thilke place was clepid Bersabee, for euere eithir swore there;
इसीलिए उसने उस मक़ाम का नाम बैरसबा' रख्खा, क्यूँकि वहीं उन दोनों ने क़सम खाई।
32 and thei maden boond of pees for the pit of an ooth.
तब उन्होंने बैरसबा' में 'अहद किया, तब अबीमलिक और उसके लश्कर का सरदार फ़ीकुल दोनों उठ खड़े हुए और फ़िलिस्तियों के मुल्क को लौट गए।
33 Forsothe Abymelech roos, and Ficol, prince of his chyualrie, and thei turneden ayen in to the lond of Palestyns. Sotheli Abraham plauntide a wode in Bersabee, and inwardli clepide there the name of euerlastinge God;
तब अब्रहाम ने बैरसबा' में झाऊ का एक दरख़्त लगाया और वहाँ उसने ख़ुदावन्द से जो अबदी ख़ुदा है दुआ की।
34 and he was an erthetiliere ether a comelynge of the lond of Palestynes in many dayes.
और अब्रहाम बहुत दिनों तक फ़िलिस्तियों के मुल्क में रहा।
