Ezekiel 37
1 The hond of the Lord was maad on me, and ledde me out in the spirit of the Lord; and he lefte me in the myddis of a feeld that was ful of boonys;
Herrens hand kom yver meg, og han førde meg i Herrens ande og sette meg ned midt i dalen, som no var full av bein.
2 and he ledde me aboute bi tho in cumpas. Forsothe tho weren ful manye on the face of the feeld, and drie greetli.
Og han let meg ganga framum deim rundt ikring, og sjå, det var ei ovmengd av deim utyver dalen, og sjå, dei var ovleg turre.
3 And he seide to me, Gessist thou, sone of man, whether these boonys schulen lyue? And Y seide, Lord God, thou wost.
Og han sagde med meg: «Menneskjeson! Skal tru dei vil livna upp att, desse beini?» Og eg sagde: «Herre, Herre, du veit det.»
4 And he seide to me, Profesie thou of these boonys; and thou schalt seie to tho, Ye drie boonys, here the word of the Lord.
Og han sagde med meg: «Spå yver desse beini! Og seg med deim: De turre bein, høyr Herrens ord!
5 The Lord God seith these thingis to these boonys, Lo! Y schal sende in to you a spirit, and ye schulen lyue.
So segjer Herren, Herren, med desse beini: Sjå, eg let ånd koma i dykk, og de skal livna upp att.
6 And Y schal yyue synewis on you, and Y schal make fleischis to wexe on you, and Y schal stretche forth aboue a skyn in you, and Y schal yyue a spirit to you, and ye schulen lyue; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
Og eg vil setja senar på dykk og lata det koma kjøt på dykk og draga hud yver utanpå dykk og gjeva ånd i dykk, og de skal livna upp att. Og de skal sanna at eg er Herren.»
7 And Y profesiede, as he comaundide to me; forsothe a sown was maad, while Y profesiede, and lo! a stiryng togidere, and boonys camen to boonys, ech to his ioynture.
Og eg spådde so som eg var fyresagd. Då vart det ei skråving medan eg spådde, og sjå, det tok til å braka, og beini drog seg imot kvarandre, bein til bein.
8 And Y siy and lo! synewis and fleischis `wexeden vpon tho, and skyn was stretchid forth aboue in hem, and tho hadden no spirit.
Og eg såg, og sjå, det kom senar og kjøt på deim, og det drog seg hud utanpå deim. Men ånd var det ikkje i deim.
9 And he seide to me, Profesie thou to the spirit, profesie thou, sone of man; and thou schalt seie to the spirit, The Lord God seith these thingis, Come, thou spirit, fro foure wyndis, and blowe thou on these slayn men, and lyue thei ayen.
Og han sagde med meg: «Spå til anden! Spå, menneskjeson, og seg med anden: So segjer Herren, Herren: Kom, du ande, frå dei fire vindar og anda på desse drepne menner, so dei kann livna upp att!»
10 And Y profesiede, as he comaundide to me; and the spirit entride in to tho boonys, and thei lyueden, and stoden on her feet, a ful greet oost.
Og eg spådde so som han sette meg til. Og anden kom i deim, og dei livna, og dei stod på føterne sine, ein ovleg, ovleg stor her.
11 And the Lord seide to me, Thou sone of man, alle these boonys is the hous of Israel; thei seien, Oure boonys drieden, and oure hope perischide, and we ben kit awei.
Og han sagde med meg: «Menneskjeson! Desse beini, dei er heile Israels-lyden. Sjå, dei segjer: «Turre er våre bein; vår von vart um inkje, det er ute med oss.»
12 Therfor profesie thou, and thou schalt seie to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal opene youre graues, and Y schal lede you out of youre sepulcris, my puple, and Y schal lede you in to youre lond Israel.
Spå difor og seg med deim: So segjer Herren, Herren: Sjå, eg opnar graverne dykkar og let dykk, lyden min, risa upp or graverne dykkar, og eg vil føra dykk til Israels land.
13 And ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord, whanne Y schal opene youre sepulcris, and schal lede you out of youre biriels, my puple;
Og de skal sanna at eg er Herren når eg opnar graverne dykkar og let dykk, folket mitt, risa upp or graverne dykkar.
14 and Y schal yyue my spirit in you, and ye schulen lyue. And Y schal make you for to reste on youre lond; and ye schulen wite, that Y the Lord spak, and dide, seith the Lord God.
Og eg vil senda min ande i dykk, og de skal livna upp att, og eg vil lata dykk få bu i landet dykkar. Og de skal sanna at eg er Herren; eg hev tala og vil setja det i verk, segjer Herren.»
15 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
Herrens ord kom til meg; han sagde:
16 and he seide, And thou, sone of man, take to thee o tree, and write thou on it, To Juda, and to the sones of Israel, and to hise felowis. And take thou an other tree, and write on it, Joseph, the tree of Effraym, and of al the hous of Israel, and of hise felowis.
Og du, Menneskjeson! Tak deg ein trestav og skriv på honom: «For Juda og dei Israels-born som er med honom.» Og tak deg ein annan stav og skriv på honom: «For Josef, ein stav for Efraim og all Israels-lyden som er med honom!»
17 And ioyne thou tho trees oon to the tother in to o tree to thee; and tho schulen be in to onement in thin hond.
Legg deim so i hop, ein attåt hin, so du fær deim til ein stav, og dei vert til eitt i handi di.
18 Sotheli whanne the sones of thi puple that speken, schulen seie to thee, Whether thou schewist not to vs, what thou wolt to thee in these thingis?
Og når landsmennerne dine segjer til deg: «Vil du ikkje lata oss få vita kva du meiner med dette?»
19 thou schalt speke to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal take the tree of Joseph, which is in the hond of Effraym, and the lynagis of Israel, that ben ioyned to hym, and Y schal yyue hem togidere with the tree of Juda; and Y schal make hem in to o tree, and thei schulen be oon in the hond of hym.
tala då til deim: «So segjer Herren, Herren: Sjå, eg tek Josefs stav, som er i Efraims hand, og Israels ætter som er med honom, og eg legg deim attåt Judas stav og gjer deim til ein stav, so dei vert til eitt i handi mi.»
20 Sotheli the trees, on whiche thou hast write, schulen be in thin hond bifore the iyen of hem.
Og stavarne som du skriv på, skal du halda i handi di framfor augo på deim.
21 And thou schalt seie to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal take the sones of Israel fro the myddis of naciouns, to whiche thei yeden forth; and Y schal gadere hem togidere on ech side. And Y schal brynge hem to her lond,
Og du skal tala til deim: «So segjer Herren, Herren: Sjå, eg tek Israels-borni burt frå dei folki som dei for til, og eg vil samla deim frå alle stader og føra deim inn i landet sitt.
22 and Y schal make hem o folc in the lond, in the hillis of Israel, and o kyng schal be comaundynge to alle: and thei schulen no more be twei folkis, and thei schulen no more be departid in to twey rewmes.
Og eg vil gjera deim til eitt folk i landet, på Israelsfjelli, og ein konge skal vera konge yver deim alle, og dei skal aldri meir vera tvo folk, og aldri meir vera sundbytte i tvo rike.
23 And thei schulen no more be defoulid in her idols, and her abhomynaciouns, and in alle her wickidnessis. And Y schal make hem saaf fro alle her seetis, in which thei synneden, and Y schal clense hem; and thei schulen be a puple to me, and Y schal be God to hem.
Og dei skal aldri meir sulka seg med dei ufysne avgudarne sine og med styggjorne sine eller med nokor av alle misgjerningarne sine. Og eg vil fri deim ut frå alle sine bustader, der dei hev synda, og eg vil reinsa deim, og dei skal vera mitt folk, og eg vil vera deira Gud.
24 And my seruaunt Dauid schal be kyng on hem, and o scheepherde schal be of alle hem; thei schulen go in my domes, and thei schulen kepe my comaundementis, and schulen do tho.
Og min tenar David skal vera konge yver deim, og ein hyrding skal vera åt deim alle. Og i mine lover skal dei ferdast, og mine bod skal dei halda og gjera etter deim.
25 And thei schulen dwelle on the lond, which Y yaf to my seruaunt Jacob, in which youre fadris dwelliden; and thei schulen dwelle on that lond, thei, and the sones of hem, and the sones of her sones, til in to with outen ende; and Dauid, my seruaunt, schal be the prince of hem with outen ende.
Og dei skal bu i det landet som eg gav min tenar Jakob, der som federne dykkar budde. Dei skal bu i det, dei sjølve og borni deira og barneborni deira, æveleg, og David, min tenar, skal vera deira fyrste, æveleg.
26 And Y schal smyte to hem a boond of pees; it schal be a couenaunt euerlastynge to hem, and Y schal founde hem, and Y schal multiplie, and Y schal yyue myn halewing in the myddis of hem with outen ende.
Og eg vil gjera ei fredspakt med deim, ei ævepakt med deim skal det vera. Og eg vil busetja deim og lata deim aukast og setja min heilagdom midt ibland deim æveleg.
27 And my tabernacle schal be among hem, and Y schal be God to hem, and thei schulen be a puple to me.
Og min bustad skal vera yver deim, og eg skal vera deira Gud, og dei skal vera mitt folk.
28 And hethene men schulen wite, that Y am the Lord, halewere of Israel, whanne myn halewyng schal be in the myddis of hem with outen ende.
Og folki skal sanna at eg er Herren som helgar Israel, når min heilagdom vert verande millom deim æveleg.»
