Ezekiel 25

1 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,

Og Herrens ord kom til meg; han sagde:

2 and he seide, Thou, sone of man, sette thi face ayens the sones of Amon, and thou schalt profesie of hem.

Menneskjeson! Vend di åsyn mot Ammons-sønerne og spå imot deim!

3 And thou schalt seie to the sones of Amon, Here ye the word of the Lord God; the Lord God seith these thingis, For that that ye seiden, Wel! wel! on my seyntuarie, for it is defoulid, and on the lond of Israel, for it is maad desolat, and on the hous of Juda, for thei ben led in to to caitifte; lo!

Og du skal segja med Ammons-sønerne: Høyr Herrens, Herrens ord! So segjer Herren, Herren: Etter di du sagde: «Hå, hå!» yver heilagdomen min, for di han vart vanhelga, og yver Israels land, for di det er i øyde lagt, og yver Juda-lyden, for di han laut fara i utlægd,

4 therfor Y schal yyue thee the sones of the eest in to eritage, and thei schulen sette her foldis in thee, and thei shulen sette her tentis in thee; thei schulen ete thi fruytis, and thei schulen drynke thi mylk.

difor, sjå, so skal austmennerne få deg til eiga, og dei skal slå sine tjeldlæger i deg og finna seg bustader i deg. Dei skal eta frukti di, og dei skal drikka mjølki di.

5 And Y schal yyue Rabath in to a dwellyng place of camels, and the sones of Amon in to a bed of beestis; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.

Og eg vil gjera Rabba til beitemark åt kamelar og Ammonlandet til felæger. Og de skal sanna at eg er Herren.

6 For the Lord God seith these thingis, For that that thou flappidist with hond, and smytidist with the foot, and ioyedist of al desijr on the lond of Israel;

For so segjer Herren, Herren: Av di du klappa med henderne og trappa med føterne og med all vanvyrdnaden i di sjæl fagna deg yver Israels land,

7 therfor lo! Y schal stretche forth myn hond on thee, and Y schal yyue thee in to rauyschyng of hethene men, and Y schal sle thee fro puplis, and Y schal leese thee, and al to-breke thee fro londis; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.

difor, sjå, so retter eg handi mi imot deg og gjev deg til herfang åt folki og ryd deg ut or folkeslagi og let deg tynast ut or landi. Eg vil øyda deg ut, so du skal sanna at eg er Herren.

8 The Lord God seith these thingis, For that that Moab and Seir seiden, Lo! the hous of Juda is as alle folkis; therfor lo!

So segjer Herren, Herren: Av di Moab og Se’ir segjer: «Sjå, det gjekk med Juda-lyden likeins som med alle hine folki,

9 Y schal opene the schuldre of Moab of citees, sotheli of citees therof and of the endis therof, the noble citees of the lond, Bethiesmoth, and Beelmoth,

difor, sjå, so vil eg gjera eit op i sida åt Moab frå der byarne ligg, frå byarne hans alle stader, landepryda Bet-Jesjimot, Ba’al-Meon og alt til Kirjatajim,

10 and Cariathaym, to the sones of the eest, with the sones of Amon. And Y schal yyue it in to eritage, that mynde of the sones of Amon be no more among hethene men,

so Austheims-sønerne kann koma seg inn, likeins som eg vil gjera med Ammons-sønerne, som eg gjev deim til eiga, so ein ikkje meir skal minnast Ammons-sønerne millom folki.

11 and in Moab Y schal make domes; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.

Og yver Moab vil eg halda dom, so dei skal sanna at eg er Herren.

12 The Lord God seith these thingis, For that that Ydumee dide veniaunce, that it avengide it silf of the sones of Juda, and synnede doynge trespas, and axide greetli veniaunce of hem;

So segjer Herren, Herren: Av di Edom var so hemnfus mot Juda-lyden og førde skuld yver seg, med di dei hemnde seg på deim,

13 therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Y schal stretche forth myn hond on Idumee, and Y schal take awei fro it man and beeste, and Y schal make it desert of the south; and thei that ben in Dedan schulen falle bi swerd.

difor - segjer Herren, Herren - so vil eg retta ut handi mi mot Edom og øyda for honom folk og fe, og eg vil gjera det til ei audn frå Teman, og heilt burt til Dedan skal dei falla for sverd.

14 And Y schal yyue my veniaunce on Idumee, bi the hond of my puple Israel; and thei schulen do in Edom bi my wraththe, and bi my strong veniaunce; and thei schulen knowe my veniaunce, seith the Lord God.

Og min hemn mot Edom vil eg leggja i henderne på mitt folk Israel, og dei skal fara åt med Edom etter min vreide og harm, og dei skal få kjenna min hemn, segjer Herren, Herren.»

15 The Lord God seith these thingis, For that that Palestyns diden veniaunce, and auengiden hem silf, with al wille sleynge, and fillynge elde enemytees;

So segjer Herren, Herren: Av di filistarane for hemnfuse fram, av di dei med all vanvyrdnaden i si sjæl hemnde seg med tynarverk, av eit ævelegt hat,

16 therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal stretche forth myn hond on Palestyns, and Y schal sle sleeris, and Y schal leese the remenauntis of the se coost;

difor, so segjer Herren, Herren: Sjå, eg rettar ut handi mi mot filistarane og ryd ut kretarane og tyner det som vert leivt attmed havstrandi.

17 and Y schal make grete veniaunces in hem, and Y schal repreue in strong veniaunce; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord, whanne Y schal yyue my veniaunce on hem.

Og eg vil lata stor hemn råma deim vreide-refsingar, og dei skal sanna at eg er Herren, når eg let hemnen min nå deim.
