Ezekiel 16
1 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
Seyè a pale avè m' ankò, li di m' konsa:
2 and he seide, Sone of man, make thou knowun to Jerusalem her abhomynaciouns; and thou schalt seie,
-Nonm o! Fè moun lavil Jerizalèm yo rekonèt tout vye bagay derespektan yo te fè yo.
3 The Lord God seith these thingis. A! thou Jerusalem, thi rote and thi generacioun is of the lond of Canaan; thi fadir is Amorrei, and thi moder is Cetei.
W'a di moun lavil Jerizalèm yo men mesaj Seyè sèl Mèt la voye ba yo: Nou se moun peyi Kanaran, se la nou fèt. Papa nou te yon moun peyi Amori, manman nou yon moun peyi Et.
4 And whanne thou were borun, thi nawle was not kit awei in the dai of thi birthe, and thou were not waischun in watir in to helthe, nethir saltid with salt, nether wlappid in clothis.
Jou ou soti nan vant manman ou lan, yo pa t' koupe kòd lonbrit ou, yo pa t' lave ou nan dlo pou yo te pwòpte ou, yo pa t' fwote ou ak gwo sèl, yo pa t' menm vlope ou nan moso kòt.
5 An iye sparide not on thee, that it hauynge merci on thee, dide to thee oon of these thingis; but thou were cast forth on the face of erthe, in the castynge out of thi soule, in the dai in which thou were borun.
Pesonn pa t' gen pitye pou ou pou yo te rann ou yonn nan ti sèvis sa yo. Lè ou te fèt la, pesonn pa t' vle wè ou, yo voye ou jete nan jaden.
6 Forsothe Y passide bi thee, and Y siy thee defoulid in thi blood; and Y seide to thee, whanne thou were in thi blood, Lyue thou; sotheli Y seide to thee in thi blood, Lyue thou.
Mwen vin ap pase bò la, mwen wè ou t'ap benyen nan san ou. Atout ou t'ap benyen nan san ou, mwen di mwen p'ap kite ou mouri, se pou ou viv.
7 Y yaf thee multiplied as the seed of a feeld, and thou were multiplied, and maad greet; and thou entridist, and camest fulli to wymmens ournyng; thi tetis wexiden greet, and thin heer wexide; and thou were nakid, and ful of schenschipe.
Se pou ou grandi tankou yon plant nan jaden. Ou grandi, ou fòme, ou vin yon bèl jenn fi. Tete ou yo te byen kanpe, pwal te pouse sou kò ou. Men, ou te toutouni.
8 And Y passide bi thee, and Y siy thee, and lo! thi tyme, the tyme of louyeris; and Y spredde abrood my clothing on thee, and Y hilide thi schenschipe. And Y swoor to thee, and Y made a couenaunt with thee, seith the Lord God, and thou were maad a wijf to me.
Mwen vin ap pase bò la ankò, mwen wè ou. Ou te rive laj pou ou te renmen. Mwen louvri gwo varèz mwen an sou ou, mwen kouvri kò ou ki te toutouni an. Mwen fè sèman m'ap toujou renmen ou. Wi, mwen pase kontra maryaj avè ou. Se konsa ou vin madanm mwen. Se Seyè ki sèl mèt la ki di sa.
9 And Y waischide thee in water, and Y clenside awei thi blood fro thee, and Y anoyntide thee with oile.
Apre sa, mwen pran dlo, mwen lave ou, mwen wete tout san ki te sou kò ou. Mwen basinen ou ak lwil santi bon.
10 And Y clothide thee with clothis of dyuerse colours, and Y schodde thee in iacynct, and Y girde thee with biys;
Mwen mete bèl rad bwode sou ou, yon pè soulye fèt ak po bazann nan pye ou, yon bèl moso twal fin blan mare nan ren ou, ak yon chal swa.
11 and Y clothide thee with sutil thingis, and Y ournede thee with ournement.
Mwen kouvri ou ak bijou, mwen mete braslè nan ponyèt ou, m' pase bèl chenn nan kou ou.
12 And Y yaf bies in thin hondis, and a wrethe aboute thi necke; and Y yaf a ryng on thi mouth, and cerclis to thin eeris, and a coroun of fairnesse in thin heed.
Mwen mete yon grenn zanno nan nen ou, yon pè zanno nan zòrèy ou ak yon bèl kouwòn sou tèt ou.
13 And thou were ourned with gold and siluer, and thou were clothid with biys and ray cloth with rounde ymagis, and many colours. Thou etist cleene flour of wheete, and hony, and oile, and thou were maad fair ful greetli; and thou encreessidist in to a rewme,
Ou te plen bijou lò ak bijou ajan. Ou te toujou mete bèl rad twal fin ak rad swa byen bwode sou ou. Ou manje pen ki fèt ak pi bon kalite farin ansanm ak siwo myèl ak lwil. Chak jou ou vin pi bèl, jouk ou rive larenn.
14 and thi name yede out in to hethene men for thi fairnesse; for thou were perfit in my fairnesse which Y hadde sett on thee, seith the Lord God.
Nan tout lòt nasyon yo, yo t'ap nonmen non ou pou jan ou te bèl. Pou bèl ou pa t' ka pi bèl pase sa paske se mwen menm ki te fè ou bèl konsa. Se mwen menm, Seyè sèl Mèt la, ki di sa.
15 And thou haddist trist in thi fairnesse, and didist fornicacioun in thi name; and thou settidist forth thi fornicacioun to ech that passide forth, that thou schuldist be maad his.
Men, ou kite bèlte ou la fè ou pèdi tèt ou. Ou pwofite dèske tout moun ap nonmen non ou lan pou ou lage kò ou nan dezòd, ou kouche ak dènye moun k'ap pase. Ou lage kò ou ba yo.
16 And thou tokist of my clothis, and madist to thee hiy thingis set aboute on ech side; and thou didist fornycacioun on tho, as it was not don, nether schal be don.
Ou pran bèl rad koulè ou yo, ou dekore kote w'ap fè sèvis pou lòt bondye sou tèt mòn yo. Tankou yon fanm k'ap fè jennès, ou kouche la ak dènye moun ki vini.
17 And thou tokist the vessels of thi fairnesse, of my gold and of my siluer, which Y yaf to thee; and thou madist to thee ymagis of men, and didist fornycacioun in tho.
Ou pran bijou lò ak bijou ajan mwen te ba ou yo, ou bay yo pou yo fè estati gason. Epi ou kouche ak estati yo.
18 And thou tokist thi clothis of many colours, and thou were clothid in tho; and thou settidist myn oile and myn encence in the siyt of tho.
Ou biye estati ou yo ak bèl rad bwode mwen te ba ou yo. Ou pran lwil ak lansan ki te pou mwen yo, ou ofri yo bay estati ou yo.
19 And thou settidist my breed, which Y yaf to thee, flour of wheete, and oile, and hony, bi whiche Y nurschide thee, in the siyt of tho, in to odour of swetnesse; and it was don, seith the Lord God.
Mwen te ba ou pi bon kalite farin pou fè pen pou ou manje ansanm ak siwo myèl ak lwil. Ou pran yo, ou ofri yo bay zidòl ou yo, ou boule yo nan dife pou yo te ka ba ou chans. Se mwen menm, Seyè sèl Mèt la, ki di wi, se sa ou fè.
20 And thou tokist thi sones and thi douytris, whiche thou gendridist to me, and offridist to tho, for to be deuourid. Whether thi fornicacioun is litil?
Apre sa, ou pran pitit gason ak pitit fi ou te fè pou mwen yo, ou al ofri yo bay zidòl yo pou zidòl yo te manje yo. Sa pa t' ase pou ou te lage kò ou nan tout dezòd sa yo
21 Thou offridist my sones, and yauest hem, and halewidist to tho.
kifè ou te bezwen koupe kou pitit mwen yo, lèfini pou ou te boule yo nan dife pou zidòl ou yo?
22 And aftir alle thin abhomynaciouns and fornicaciouns, thou bithouytist not on the daies of thi yong wexynge age, whanne thou were nakid, and ful of schenschipe, and were defoulid in thi blood.
Pandan tout tan ou t'ap viv nan dezòd sa a, ou pa janm chonje lè ou te piti, lè ou te toutouni ap benyen nan san ou lan?
23 And after al thi malice, wo, wo bifelle to thee, seith the Lord God.
Seyè sèl Mèt la di ankò: -Madichon, madichon pou ou! Lè ou fin fè tout mechanste sa yo,
24 And thou bildidist to thee a bordel hous, and madist to thee a place of hordom in alle stretis.
sou tout rebò granchemen yo, ou bati tanp pou sèvi zidòl ou yo, pou fè metye jennès ou a.
25 At ech heed of the weie thou bildidist a signe of thin hordom, and madist thi fairnesse abhomynable; and thou departidist thi feet to ech man passynge forth, and multepliedist thi fornicaciouns.
Nan chak kalfou granchemen, ou bati yon tanp kote ou trennen bèlte ou la nan labou. W'ap ofri tèt ou bay dènye moun k'ap pase. Chak jou ou te vin pi mal.
26 And thou didist fornicacioun with the sones of Egipt, thi neiyboris of grete fleischis, and thou multepliedist thi fornicacioun, to terre me to wraththe.
W' al kouche ak moun peyi Lejip yo, vwazen ou yo ki gwonèg anpil. Ou fè, ou fè jouk ou fè m' fache.
27 Lo! Y schal stretch forth myn hond on thee, and Y schal take awei thi iustifiyng; and Y schal yyue thee in to the soulis of hem that haten thee, of the douytris of Palestyns, that ben aschamed in thi weie ful of greet trespas.
Se konsa, mwen lonje men m' sou ou pou m' pini ou, mwen koupe moso nan sa ki te vin pou ou a. Mwen lage ou nan men lènmi ou yo, moun peyi Filisti yo, ki pa t' ka santi tout vye bagay sal ou t'ap fè yo.
28 And thou didist fornicacioun with the sones of Assiriens, for thou were not fillid yit; and after that thou didist fornicacioun, nether so thou were fillid.
Men moun sa yo pa t' ba ou kont plezi ou, ou kouri al jwenn moun peyi Lasiri yo. Ou kouche ak yo. Men yo menm tou, yo pa t' ba ou kont plezi ou.
29 And thou multipliedist thi fornycacioun in the lond of Canaan with Caldeis, and nether so thou were fillid.
W' al fè jennès ak moun Babilòn yo, gwo kòmèsan sa yo. Men yo menm tou, yo pa t' ba ou kont plezi ou!
30 In what thing schal Y clense thin herte, seith the Lord God, whanne thou doist alle these werkis of a womman an hoore, and gredi axere?
Men sa Seyè sèl Mèt la di ankò: Se pa ti move mwen pa t' move sou ou! Ou fè tou sa tankou yon jennès je kale.
31 For thou madist thi bordel hous in `the heed of ech weie, and thou madist thin hiy place in ech street; and thou were not maad as an hoore ful of anoiyng,
Ou bati yon lotèl repozwa nan chak kalfou granchemen. Ou bati tanp sou tout rebò granchemen yo. Men, se pa t' dèyè lajan ou te ye tankou lòt fanm k'ap fè jennès yo.
32 encreessynge prijs, but as a womman auowtresse, that bryngith in aliens on hir hosebonde.
Ou te tankou yon madan marye ki nan dezòd, ki pito fè bèl ak lòt gason pase pou li renmen mari l'.
33 Hiris ben youun to alle hooris, but thou hast youe hire to alle thi louyeris; and thou yauest to hem, that thei schulden entre to thee on ech side, to do fornycacioun with thee.
Yon jennès se peye yo peye sa. Men ou menm, se ou menm ki bay nonm ou yo kado, se ou menm k'ap ofri yo lajan pou yo soti toupatou vin kouche avè ou.
34 And it was don in thee ayens the custom of wymmen in thi fornycaciouns, and fornicacioun schal not be after thee; for in that that thou yauest hiris, and tokist not hiris, the contrarie was don in thee.
Ou pa t' tankou lòt fanm k'ap fè jennès yo. Pesonn pa t' fòse ou fè sa. Yo pa t' peye ou pou sa. Se ou ki t'ap peye moun vin kouche avè ou! Non! Ou pa t' tankou lòt jennès yo!
35 Therfor, thou hoore, here the word of the Lord.
Koulye a, Jerizalèm, gwo jennès, koute sa Seyè a ap di:
36 The Lord God seith these thingis, For thi riches is sched out, and thi schenschipe is schewid in thi fornicaciouns on thi louyeris, and on the idols of thin abhomynaciouns, in the blood of thi sones, whiche thou yauest to hem; lo!
Men mesaj Seyè sèl Mèt la voye ba ou: Ou wete tout rad sou ou. Ou rete toutouni nèt pou ou te kouche ak nonm ou yo, ansanm ak tout vye zidòl mwen pa vle wè yo. Lèfini, ou touye pitit ou yo, ou ofri yo bay zidòl.
37 Y schal gadere to gidere alle thi louyeris, with whiche thou were meddlid, and alle men whiche thou louedist, with alle men whiche thou hatidist; and Y schal gadere hem on thee on ech side, and Y schal make nakid thi schenschipe bifore hem, and thei schulen se al thi filthe.
Poutèt tou sa, mwen pral reyini tout ansyen nonm ou yo ki te konn pran plezi yo avè ou, ni sa ou te renmen yo, ni sa ou te rayi yo. M'ap fè yo vin fè wonn bò kote ou. Mwen pral wete dènye rad ki sou ou. Mwen pral kite ou toutouni devan je yo.
38 And Y schal deme thee bi the domes of auoutressis, and schedinge out blood;
M'ap pini ou menm jan yo pini fanm k'ap fè adiltè, ak fanm ki touye moun. M'ap fache, m'ap move, m'ap bay lòd pou yo touye ou.
39 and Y schal yyue thee in to the blood of strong veniaunce, and of feruour. And Y schal yyue thee in to the hondis of hem, and thei schulen destrie thi bordel hous, and thei schulen destrie the place of thin hordom; and thei schulen make thee nakid of thi clothis, and thei schulen take awei the vessels of thi fairnesse, and thei schulen forsake thee nakid, and ful of schenschipe.
M'ap lage ou nan men yo, yo pral demoli dènye lotèl repozwa ou fè pou zidòl ou yo, kote w'ap fè jennès la. Y'ap wete tout rad sou ou, y'ap pran tout bijou ou yo, y'ap kite ou toutouni.
40 And thei schulen bringe on thee a multitude, and thei schulen stoon thee with stoonys, and thei schulen sle thee with her swerdis.
Yo pral moute tèt yon foul moun pou yo touye ou ak kout wòch, y'ap filange ou ak nepe yo.
41 And thei schulen brenne thin housis with fier, and thei schulen make domes in thee, bifor the iyen of ful many wymmen; and thou schalt ceese to do fornicacioun, and thou schalt no more yyue hiris.
Y'ap boule tout kay ou yo, y'ap pini ou devan yon foul medam. M'ap fè ou sispann fè jennès, m'ap fè ou sispann bay nonm ou yo kado.
42 And myn indignacioun schal reste in thee, and my feruent loue schal be takun awei fro thee; and Y schal reste, and Y schal no more be wrooth,
Apre sa, mwen p'ap move sou ou ankò. M'a sispann fè jalouzi. Mwen p'ap fache ankò.
43 for thou haddist not mynde on the daies of thi yong wexynge age, and thou terridist me to ire in alle these thingis. Wherfor and Y yaf thi weies in thin heed, seith the Lord God, and Y dide not aftir thi grete trespassis, in alle these thin abhomynaciouns.
Ou pa t' chonje jan m' te aji avè ou lè ou te jenn lan. Ou te fè m' move anpil pou tou sa ou te fè yo. Se poutèt sa mwen te fè ou peye pou tout. Se mwen menm Seyè a, Bondye sèl Mèt la, ki di sa. Poukisa ou fè tout dezòd vakabonday sa yo mete sou tout lòt bagay derespektan ou fè yo?
44 Lo! ech man that seith a prouerbe comynli, schal take it in thee,
Seyè a di ankò: Koulye a moun ki renmen fè pwovèb yo pral bay yonn sou do lavil Jerizalèm. Yo pral di: Joumou pa donnen kalbas. Pitit fi a ap soti tankou manman l'.
45 and schal seie, As the modir, so and the douytir of hir. Thou art the douyter of thi modir, that castide awey hir hosebonde and hir sones; and thou art the sister of thi sistris, that castiden a wei her hosebondis and her sones. Thi modir is Cetei, and thi fadir is Ammorrei;
Wi, ou se pitit manman ou vre. Li pa t' vle wè ni mari l' ni pitit li yo. Ou menm moun ak sè ou yo. Yo menm tou, yo pa t' vle wè ni mari yo, ni pitit yo. Se yon fanm peyi Et ki te manman nou tout. Se yon moun peyi Amori ki te papa nou.
46 and thi gretter sister is Samarie, sche and hir douytris, that dwellen at thi left side; but thi sistir lesse than thou, that dwellith at thi riyt side, is Sodom, and hir douytris.
Gran sè ou la rete nan nò. Se lavil Samari ansanm ak tout ti bouk ki sou kont li yo. Ti sè ou la rete nan sid. Se lavil Sodòm ansanm ak tout ti bouk ki sou kont li yo.
47 But thou yedist not in the weies of hem, nethir thou didist aftir the grete trespassis of hem; hast thou do almest a litil lesse cursidere dedis than thei, in alle thi weies?
Ou mache dèyè yo pye pou pye, ou fè tout vye bagay derespektan yo fè. Men, nan tou sa ou fè yo, ou fè pi mal pase yo.
48 Y lyue, seith the Lord God, for Sodom, thi sister, did not, sche and hir douytris, as thou didist, and thi douytris.
Se poutèt sa, jan nou konnen mwen vivan vre a, men sa mwen menm, Seyè sèl Mèt la, m'ap di ou: Sè ou la, lavil Sodòm ansanm ak tout ti bouk ki sou kont li yo, yo pa t' janm rive fè tou sa ou menm lavil Jerizalèm, ou te fè ansanm ak tout ti bouk ki sou kont ou yo.
49 Lo! this was the wickidnesse of Sodom, thi sister, pride, fulnesse of breed, and habundaunce, and idilnesse of hir, and of hir douytris; and thei puttiden not hond to a nedi man and pore.
Kisa lavil Sodòm te fè konsa? Li t'ap gonfle lestonmak li sou moun, paske li te gen kont manje pou l' manje. Yo t'ap viv kè pòpòz san pwoblèm. Men, yo pa janm lonje men bay pòv malere ak moun ki nan nesesite.
50 And thei weren enhaunsid, and diden other abhominaciouns bifore me; and Y took hem awei, as thou hast seyn.
Yo kite lògèy vire lòlòj yo, yo fè tèt di, yo fè bagay yo konnen mwen pa vle wè moun fè. Se poutèt sa mwen disparèt yo, jan ou konnen l' lan.
51 And Samarie synnede not the half of thi synnes, but thou hast ouercome hem in thi grete trespassis; and thou hast iustified thi sistris in alle thin abhomynaciouns, whiche thou wrouytist.
Lavil Samari menm pa t' fè mwatye nan sa ou fè. Ou fè plis bagay derespektan pase l'. Ou fè sè ou yo pase pou inonsan bò kote ou.
52 Therfor and thou bere thi schenschipe, that hast ouercome thi sistris with thi synnes, and didist more cursidli than thei; for thei ben iustified of thee. Therfor and be thou schent, and bere thi schenschipe, which hast iustified thi sistris.
Ou pral wont tèt ou pou sa ou fè. Ou sitèlman fè peche ki pi lèd pase sa sè ou yo fè a, ou ba yo rezon, yo parèt inonsan bò kote ou. Wi, se pou ou wont. Se pou ou kache figi ou, paske ou fè sè ou yo pase pou inonsan bò kote ou.
53 And Y schal conuerte and restore hem by the conuersioun of Sodom with hir douytris, and bi the conuersioun of Samarie and of hir douytris; and Y schal conuerte thi turnyng ayen in the myddis of hem,
Seyè a pale ak lavil Jerizalèm, li di l' konsa: -M'ap mete yo kanpe ankò, lavil Sodòm ak lavil Samari ansanm ak tout ti bouk ki sou kont yo. Bout pou bout, ou menm tou m'ap mete ou kanpe ankò.
54 that thou bere thi schenschipe, and be aschamed in alle thingis whiche thou didist, coumfortynge hem.
Ou pral wont tèt ou pou tou sa ou te fè. Yo pral pale ou mal. Sè ou yo pral wè yo pa pi mal pase sa. Sa pral yon konsolasyon pou yo.
55 And thi sister Sodom and hir doytris schulen turne ayen to her eldnesse; and Samarie and hir douytris shulen turne ayen to her eeldnesse; and thou and thi douytris turne ayen to youre eldnesse.
Lavil Sodòm ak tout ti bouk li yo pral kanpe ankò jan yo te ye anvan an. Lavil Samari ak tout ti bouk li yo pral kanpe ankò jan yo te ye anvan an. Ou menm tou, lavil Jerizalèm ak tout ti bouk ou yo, nou pral kanpe ankò jan nou te ye anvan an.
56 Forsothe Sodom, thi sister, was not herd in thi mouth, in the dai of thi pride,
Lè ou te an penpan an, èske ou pa t' konn pase Sodòm nan betiz,
57 bifore that thi malice was schewid, as in this tyme, in to schenschipe of the douytris of Sirie, and of alle douytris in thi cumpas, of the douytris of Palestyn that ben aboute thee bi cumpas.
anvan yo te denonse tout mechanste ou yo? Koulye a, se ou menm moun Aram yo, moun Filisti yo ansanm ak lòt moun nan vwazinaj ki pa vle wè ou yo pral pase nan betiz.
58 Thou hast bore thi greet trespas, and thi schenschipe, seith the Lord God.
Ou pral peye pou tout bagay derespektan ak bagay mwen pa vle wè ou te fè yo. Se mwen menm, Seyè a, ki di sa.
59 For the Lord God seith these thingis, And Y schal do to thee as thou dispisidist the ooth, that thou schuldist make voide the couenaunt;
Seyè a pale ak lavil Jerizalèm, li di l' konsa: -Mwen pral boule avè ou jan ou merite l' la, paske ou pa ka kenbe pawòl ou, ou kase kontra a.
60 and Y schal haue mynde on my couenaunt with thee in the daies of thi yongthe, and Y schal reise to thee a couenaunt euerlastynge.
Men, m'ap chonje kontra mwen te pase avè ou lè ou te jenn lan. M'ap siyen yon lòt kontra avè ou, yon kontra k'ap la pou tout tan.
61 And thou schalt haue mynde on thi weies, and schalt be aschamed, whanne thou schalt resseyue thi sistris grettere than thou, with thi lesse sistris; and Y schal yyue hem in to douytris to thee, but not of thi couenaunt.
Ou menm, w'a chonje sa ou te fè, w'a wont lè w'a resevwa gran sè ak ti sè ou yo. M'ap ba ou yo pou pitit fi pa ou malgre sa pa t' nan kontra a.
62 And Y schal reise my couenaunt with thee, and thou schalt wite, that Y am the Lord, that thou haue mynde, and be aschamed;
Wi, se mwen menm k'ap siyen kontra mwen an avè ou ankò. Lè sa a, w'a konnen se mwen menm ki Seyè a.
63 and that it be no more to thee to opene the mouth for thi schame, whanne Y schal be plesid to thee in alle thingis whiche thou didist, seith the Lord God.
M'ap padonnen ou tou sa ou te fè. Men ou menm, w'ap chonje sa ou te fè yo, w'a wont, ou p'ap ka louvri bouch ou ankò tèlman w'a wont. Se mwen menm, Seyè a, ki di sa.
