1 Forsothe Elisee, the prophete, clepide oon of the sones of prophetis, and seide to hym, Girde thi leendis, and take this vessel of oile in thin hond, and go in to Ramoth of Galaad.
Pea naʻe ui mai ʻe ʻIlaisa ha tokotaha ʻi he fānau ʻae kau palōfita, mo ne pehē kiate ia, “Nonoʻo ho noʻotanga vala, mo ke ʻave ʻi ho nima ʻae puha ni ʻoe lolo, pea ke ʻalu ki Lemoti-Kiliati:
2 And whanne thou schalt come thidur, thou schalt se Hieu, sone of Josephat, sone of Namsi; and thou schalt entre, and schalt reise hym fro the myddis of hise britheren, and thou schalt lede hym in to the ynnere closet.
Pea ʻoka ke ka hoko atu ki ai, ke ke kumi kia Sehu ko e foha ʻo Sihosafate ko e foha ʻo Nimisi, pea ke hū atu, pea ke pule ke ne tuʻu hake mei he haʻohaʻonga ʻo hono kāinga, pea ke ʻave ia ki ha loki ʻi loto fale;
3 And thou schalt holde the vessel of oile, and schalt schede on his heed, and schalt seie, The Lord seith these thingis, I haue anoyntid thee in to kyng on Israel; and thou schalt opene the dore, and schalt flee, and schalt not abide there.
Pea ke toki toʻo ʻae puha lolo, mo ke lilingi ki hono ʻulu, mo ke pehē, ‘ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova, Kuo u fakanofo koe ko e tuʻi ki ʻIsileli.’ Pea hili ia ke ke fakaava ʻae matapā, pea ke hola, pea ʻoua naʻa ke fakatuotuai.”
4 Therfor the yong wexynge man, the child of the prophete, yede in to Ramoth of Galaad, and entride thidur.
Ko ia naʻe ʻalu ʻae tangata talavou, ʻio, ʻae palōfita talavou, ki Lemoti-Kiliati.
5 Lo! sotheli the princes of the oost saten; and he seide, A! prince, Y haue a word to thee. And Hieu seide, To whom of alle vs? And he seide, To thee, thou prince.
Pea ʻi heʻene hoko ange, vakai, naʻe nonofo fakataha ʻae ngaahi ʻeiki ʻoe kautau; pea naʻe pehē ʻe ia, “Kuo u haʻu mo ha fekau kiate koe, ʻe ʻeiki.” Pea naʻe pehē ʻe Sehu, “Kia hai ʻiate kimautolu kotoa pē?” Pea naʻa ne pehē, “Kiate koe, ʻe ʻeiki.”
6 And he roos, and entride into the closet. And thilk child schedde oile on the heed of hym, and seide, The Lord God of Israel seith these thingis, Y haue anointid thee in to kyng on the puple of the Lord of Israel; and thou schalt smyte the hows of Achab,
Pea naʻa ne tuʻu hake, mo ne hū atu ai ki loto fale; pea naʻa ne lilingi ʻae lolo ki hono ʻulu, mo ne pehē kiate ia, “ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua ʻo ʻIsileli, ‘Kuo u fakanofo koe ko e tuʻi ke pule ki he kakai ʻa Sihova, ʻio, ki ʻIsileli.
7 thi lord, that Y venge the blood of my seruauntis prophetis, and the blood of alle the seruauntis of the Lord, of the hond of Jezabel.

8 And Y schal lese al the hows of Achab, and Y schal sle of the hows of Achab a pissere to the wal, and closid, and the laste in Israel.
Koeʻuhi ʻe ʻauha ʻae fale kotoa ʻo ʻEhapi: pea te u motuhi meia ʻEhapi ʻae kau tangata kotoa pē pea mo ia kotoa pē ʻoku tāpuni mo toe ʻi ʻIsileli:
9 And Y schal yyue the hows of Achab as the hows of Jeroboam, sone of Nabat, and as the hous of Baasa, sone of Ahia.
Pea te u ngaohi ke tatau ʻae fale ʻo ʻEhapi mo e fale ʻo Selopoami ko e foha ʻo Nipati, pea ke tatau mo e fale ʻo Paʻasa ko e foha ʻo ʻAhisa:
10 Also doggis schulen ete Jezabel in the feeld of Jezrael; and `noon schal be that schal birie hir. And `the child openyde the dore, and fledde.
Pea ʻe keina ʻa Sisipeli ʻe he fanga kulī ʻi he potu ʻo Sesilili, pea ʻe ʻikai tanu ia ʻe ha tokotaha.’” Pea naʻa ne toʻo ʻae matapā mo ne hola.
11 Forsothe Hieu yede out to the seruauntis of his lord, whiche seiden to hym, Whether alle thingis ben riytfuli? What cam this wood man to thee? Which seide to hem, Ye knowen the man, and what he spak.
Hili ia naʻe hū mai kituʻa ʻa Sehu ki he kau tamaioʻeiki ʻa ʻene ʻeiki: pea naʻe pehē ʻe he tokotaha kiate ia, “ʻOku lelei kotoa pē? Ko e hā naʻe haʻu ai ʻae siana faha ni kiate koe?” Pea naʻa ne pehē kiate kinautolu, “ʻOku mou ʻilo pe ʻae tangata, pea mo ʻene lau.”
12 And thei answeriden, It is fals; but more telle thou to vs. Which seide to hem, He spak these and these thingis to me, and seide, The Lord seith these thingis, Y haue anoyntid thee kyng on Israel.
Pea naʻa nau pehē, “Ko e loi; ka ke tala mai ni.” Pea naʻa ne pehē, “Naʻe pehē mo pehē ʻa ʻene lea kiate au, ʻo pehē, ‘ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova kuo u fakanofo koe ke ke tuʻi ki ʻIsileli.’”
13 Therfor thei hastiden, and ech man took his mentil, and puttide vndir hise feet bi the licnesse of a trone. And thei sungen with a trumpe, and seiden, Hieu schal regne.
Pea naʻa nau fai vave ai, pea toʻo taki taha ʻe he tangata ʻa hono kofu, pea ʻai ia ki lalo ʻiate ia ʻi he potu māʻolunga ʻoe hala tuʻunga, pea [naʻa nau ]ifi ʻaki ʻae ngaahi meʻalea, ʻo pehē, “ʻOku tuʻi ʻa Sehu.”
14 Therfor Hieu, sone of Josephat, sone of Namsi, swoor to gidere ayens Joram. Forsothe Joram hadde bisegid Ramoth of Galaad, he and al Israel, ayens Azael, kyng of Sirie.
Ko ia naʻe te u lapa ʻe Sehu ko e foha ʻo Sihosafate ko e foha ʻo Nimisi kia Solami. (Ka ko eni naʻe maʻu pe ʻe Solami ʻa Lemoti-Kiliati, ʻe ia mo ʻIsileli kātoa, koeʻuhi ko Hasaeli ko e tuʻi ʻo Silia.
15 And he turnede ayen to be heelid in Jezrael for woundis; for men of Sirie hadden smyte hym fiytynge ayens Azael, kyng of Sirie. And Hieu seide, If it plesith you, no man go out fleynge fro the citee, lest he go, and telle in Jezrael.
Ka kuo liliu mai ʻa Solami ki Sesilili ke fakamoʻui ia mei he ngaahi lavea naʻa ne lavea ai ʻi he kakai Silia, ʻi heʻene tau mo Hasaeli ko e tuʻi ʻo Silia.) Pea naʻe pehē ʻe Sehu, “Kapau ko homou loto ia, pea ʻoua naʻa tuku ha taha ke ʻalu atu pe hao mei he kolo ke ʻalu ʻo fakahā ia ʻi Sesilili.”
16 And he stiede, and yede forth in to Jezrael; for Joram was sijk there, and Ocozie, kyng of Juda, cam doun to visite Joram.
Pea pehē, naʻe heka ʻa Sehu ʻi ha saliote, mo ne ʻalu ki Sesilili; he naʻe tokoto ai ʻa Solami. Pea kuo haʻu ʻa ʻAhasia ko e tuʻi ʻo Siuta ke ʻaʻahi kia Solami.
17 Therfor a spiere, that stood aboue a tour of Jezrael, siy the multitude of Hieu comynge, and he seide, Y se a multitude. And Joram seide, Take thou a chare, and sende in to the metyng of hem; and seie the goere, Whether alle thingis ben riytfuli?
Pea naʻe tuʻu ʻae tangata leʻo ʻi he fale māʻolunga ʻo Sesilili, pea naʻa ne mamata ki he kau fononga ʻo Sehu ʻi heʻene haʻu, pea naʻa ne pehē, “ʻOku ou sio ki ha fononga.” Pea naʻe pehē ʻe Solami, “Fekau ki ha tangata heka hoosi, ke ʻalu ʻo fakafetaulaki kiate kinautolu,” pea tala ke ne pehē, “Ko e lelei pe ʻikai?”
18 Therfor he, that stiede on the chare, yede in to the meetyng of hym, and seide, The kyng seith these thingis, Whether alle thingis ben peesid? And Hieu seide to hym, What to thee and to pees? Passe thou, and sue me. And the aspiere telde, and seide, the messanger cam to hem, and he turneth not ayen.
Ko ia naʻe ʻalu ʻae tokotaha naʻe heka hoosi ke fetaulaki mo ia, pea naʻa ne pehē, “ʻOku pehē mai ʻe he tuʻi, pe ko e lelei pe ʻikai?” Pea naʻe pehē ʻe Sehu, “Ko e hā ʻa hoʻo kau ʻaʻau ki he lelei? Foki atu ki hoku tuʻa. Pea naʻe fakahā ʻe he tangata leʻo, ʻo pehē, “Naʻe hokoange ʻae tangata fekau kiate kinautolu ka ʻoku ʻikai toe foki mai ia.”
19 Also the kyng sente the secounde chare of horsis, and he cam to hem, and seide, The kyng seith these thingis, Whether pees is? And Hieu seide, What to thee and to pees? Passe thou, and sue me.
Pea naʻa ne toki fekau atu ha tokotaha kehe ke heka hoosi, pea naʻa ne hokoange kiate kinautolu, mo ne pehē, “ʻOku pehē mai ʻe he tuʻi, pe ko e lelei pe ʻikai?” Pea naʻe pehēange ʻe Sehu, “Ko e hā ʻa hoʻo kau ʻaʻau ki he lelei? ʻAlu koe ki hoku tuʻa.”
20 Sotheli the aspiere telde, and seide, He cam `til to hem, and he turneth not ayen; forsothe the goyng is as the goyng of Hieu, sone of Namsi; sothely he goith faste.
Pea naʻe fakahā ʻe he tangata leʻo, ʻo pehē, “Naʻa ne hoko atu kiate kinautolu, ka ʻoku ʻikai te ne toe foki mai: pea ko e angi ki [he manu ]ʻoku hangē ko e ʻalu ʻa Sehu ko e foha ʻo Nimisi; he ʻoku ne ʻalu fakavave ʻaupito.”
21 And Joram seide, Ioyn ye a chare. And thei ioyneden his chare. And Joram, kyng of Israel, yede out, and Ocozie, kyng of Juda, yede out, ech in his chare; and thei yeden out in to the meetyng of Hieu, and thei founden hym in the feeld of Naboth of Jezrael.
Pea naʻe pehē ʻe Solami, “Mou teuteu.” Pea naʻe teuteu ʻa hono saliote. Pea naʻe ʻalu atu ʻa Solami ko e tuʻi ʻo ʻIsileli mo ʻAhasia ko e tuʻi ʻo Siuta, ko e taki taha ʻi hono saliote, pea naʻa na ʻalu atu ke tali ʻa Sehu, pea naʻa nau fetaulaki mo ia ʻi he ʻapi ʻo Napoti ko e tangata Sesilili.
22 And whanne Joram hadde seyn Hieu, he seide, Hieu, `is pees? And he answeride, What pees? Yit the fornycaciouns of Jezabel, thi modir, and many poisenyngis of hir ben in strengthe.
Pea naʻe hoko ʻo pehē, ʻi heʻene mamata ʻe Solami kia Sehu, naʻa ne pehē, “ʻE Sehu, ʻoku lelei pē pe ʻikai?” Pea naʻe pehēange ʻe ia, “ʻO lelei fēfeeʻi ka kuo lahi pehē fau ʻae ngaahi feʻauaki mo e ngaahi ngāue fakatēvolo ʻa hoʻo faʻē ko Sisipeli?”
23 Forsothe Joram turnede his hond, and fledde, and seide to Ocozie, Tresouns! tresouns!
Pea naʻe fakatafoki ʻae nima ʻo Solami, pea naʻa ne hola, ʻo ne pehē kia ʻAhasia, “ʻE ʻAhasia kuo fai ʻae lapa.”
24 Ocozie. Forsothe Hieu bente a bouwe with the hond, and smoot Joram bitwixe the schuldris, and the arowe yede out thoruy his herte; and anoon he felde doun in his chare.
Pea naʻe tekeʻi ʻe Sehu ʻae kaufana ʻaki ʻa ʻene mālohi kātoa, pea naʻa ne fanaʻi ʻa Solami ʻi hono vahaʻa nima, pea naʻe ʻasi atu ʻae ngahau mei hono mafu, pea naʻa ne tō hifo ʻi hono saliote.
25 And Hieu seide to Badacher duyk, Take thou awei, cast forth hym in the feeld of Naboth of Jezrael; for Y haue mynde, whanne Y and thou saten in the chare, and suede Achab, the fadir of hym, that the Lord reiside on hym this birthun, and seide, If not for the blood of Naboth,
Pea naʻe toki pehē ʻe [Sehu ]kia Pitikali ko ʻene ʻeikitau, “Toʻo hake mo lī ia ki he potu ʻi he ngoue ʻoe tautea ni kiate ia;
26 and for the blood of hise sones, which Y siy yistirdai, seith the Lord, Y schal yeeld to thee in this feeld, seith the Lord. Now therfor do awei him, and cast forth him in the feeld, bi the word of the Lord.
‘ko e moʻoni kuo u mamata ʻaneafi ki he toto ʻo Napoti mo e toto ʻo hono ngaahi foha,’ ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova; ki he potu na, ʻo fakatatau mo e folofola ʻa Sihova.”
27 Forsothe Ocozie, king of Juda, siy this, and fledde bi the weie of the hows of the gardyn; and Hieu pursuede hym, and seide, Also smyte ye this man in his chare. And thei smytiden hym in the stiyng of Gaber, which is bisidis Jeblaam; and he fledde into Mageddo, and was deed there.
Ka ʻi heʻene mamata ki ai ni ʻa ʻAhasia ko e tuʻi ʻo Siuta naʻa ne hola ʻi he hala ʻoe fale ngoue. Pea naʻe muimui kiate ia ʻa Sehu, mo ne pehē, “Tāʻi foki ia ʻi hono saliote.” Pea naʻe fai ia ʻi he hakenga ki Kuli ʻaia ʻoku ofi ki Ipiliami. Pea naʻa ne hola ki Mekito, mo ne pekia ʻi ai.
28 And hise seruauntis puttiden hym on his chare, and brouyten hym in to Jerusalem; and thei birieden hym in a sepulcre with hise fadris, in the citee of Dauid.
Pea naʻe ʻave ia ʻi ha saliote ki Selūsalema ʻe heʻene kau tamaioʻeiki, pea naʻe fai hono putu ki he fonualoto ʻo ʻene ngaahi tamai ʻi he Kolo ʻo Tevita.
29 In the eleuenthe yeer of Joram, sone of Achab, kyng of Israel, Ocozie regnede on Juda.
Pea ʻi hono hongofulu ma taha ʻoe taʻu ʻa Solami ko e foha ʻo ʻEhapi naʻe kamata pule ʻa ʻAhasia ki Siuta.
30 And Hieu cam in to Jezrael. Forsothe whanne his entryng was herd, Jezabel peyntide hir iyen with oynement of wymmen, and ournede hir heed;
Pea ʻi heʻene hoko mai ʻa Sehu ki Sesilili, naʻe fanongo ʻa Sisipeli ki ai; pea naʻa ne ʻai ʻae loa ki hono mata, mo ne ʻai ʻae teunga ki hono ʻulu, pea sio ia mei he matapā sioʻata.
31 and sche bihelde bi a wyndow Hieu entrynge bi the yate, and sche seide, Whether pees may be to Zamri, that kyllide his lord?
Pea feʻunga mo ʻene hū mai ʻa Sehu ʻi he matapā ʻoe kolo, naʻa ne pehē, “Naʻe lelei koā ʻa Simili, ʻaia naʻa ne fakapoongi ʻa ʻene ʻeiki?”
32 And Hieu reiside his face to the wyndow, and seide, What womman is this? And tweyne ether thre chaumbirleyns bowiden hem silf to hym, and seiden to hym, This is thilke Jezabel.
Pea naʻe hanga hake ʻe ia ʻa hono mata ki he matapā sioʻata, mo ne pehē, “Ko hai ʻoku kau kiate au? Ko hai?” Pea naʻe sio mai mei he matapā sioʻata ha kau tangata tali fekau ʻe toko ua pe toko tolu.
33 And he seide to hem, Caste ye hir doun. And thei `castiden doun hir; and the wal was bispreynt with blood, and the howues of horsis, that `to tredden hir.
Pea naʻe pehē ʻe ia, “Laku hifo ia.” Ko ia naʻa nau laku ia ki lalo: pea naʻe puna ʻa hono toto ki he ʻā, pea ki he fanga hoosi: pea naʻa ne malaki hifo ia ʻi hono lalo vaʻe.
34 And whanne he hadde entrid to ete and drynke, he seide, Go ye, and se thilke cursid womman, and birie ye hir, for sche is a kyngis douyter.
Pea ʻi heʻene hū mai ki loto fale, naʻa ne kai mo inu, mo ne pehē, “Mou ʻalu, ʻo sio eni ki he fefine malaʻia ni, pea ʻave ʻo tanu ia; he ko e ʻofefine ia ʻo ha tuʻi.”
35 And whanne thei hadden go to birie hir, thei founden not, no but the sculle, and the feet, and the endis of hondis;
Pea naʻa nau ʻalu atu ke fai hono tanu: ka naʻe ʻikai te nau ʻilo hano potu ka ko hono ʻulupoko pe, mo e foʻi vaʻe, pea mo e ʻaofi nima.
36 and thei turneden ayen, and telden to hym. And Hieu seide, It is the word of the Lord, which he spak bi his seruaunt, Elie `of Thesbi, and seide, Doggis schulen ete the fleisch of Jezabel in the feeld of Jezrael;
Ko ia naʻa nau toe omi ai ʻo fakahā kiate ia. Pea naʻe pehē ʻe ia, “Ko eni ia ʻae folofola ʻa Sihova, ʻaia naʻa ne folofolaʻaki ʻi heʻene tamaioʻeiki ko ʻIlaisiā ko e tangata Tisipa, ʻo pehē, ‘ʻI he potu [fonua ]ʻo Sesilili ʻe keina ʻe he fanga kulī ʻae kakano ʻo Sisipeli.
37 and the fleischis of Jezabel schulen be as `a toord on the face of erthe in the feeld of Jezrael, so that men passynge forth seie, Lo! this is thilke Jezabel.
Pea ʻe tatau ʻae ʻangaʻanga ʻo Sisipeli mo e kinohaʻa ʻi he funga fonua ʻi he potu ʻo Sesilili; pea ʻe ʻikai ai te nau faʻa pehē, Ko Sisipeli eni.’”
