1 Forsothe Dauid hadde these sones, that weren borun to hym in Ebron; the firste gendrid sone, Amon, of Achynoem of Jezrael; the secounde sone, Danyel, of Abigail of Carmele;
David vero hos habuit filios, qui ei nati sunt in Hebron: primogenitum Amnon ex Achinoam Jezrahelitide, secundum Daniel de Abigail Carmelitide,
2 the thridde, Absolon, the sone of Maacha, douyter of Tolomei, kyng of Gessuri; the fourthe, Adonye, sone of Agith;
tertium Absalom filium Maacha filiæ Tholmai regis Gessur, quartum Adoniam filium Aggith,
3 the fyuethe, Saphacie, of Abithal; the sixte, Jethraan, of Egla his wijf.
quintum Saphathiam ex Abital, sextum Jethraham de Egla uxore sua.
4 Therfor sixe sones weren borun to hym in Ebron, where he regnede seuene yeer and sixe monethis; sotheli he regnyde thre and thritti yeer in Jerusalem.
Sex ergo nati sunt ei in Hebron, ubi regnavit septem annis et sex mensibus. Triginta autem et tribus annis regnavit in Jerusalem.
5 Forsothe foure sones, Sama, and Sobab, and Nathan, and Salomon, weren borun of Bersabee, the douyter of Amyhel, to hym in Jerusalem;
Porro in Jerusalem nati sunt ei filii, Simmaa, et Sobab, et Nathan, et Salomon, quatuor de Bethsabee filia Ammiel:
6 also Jabaar, and Elisama, and Eliphalech,
Jebaar quoque et Elisama,
7 and Noge, and Napheth, and Japhie,
et Eliphaleth, et Noge, et Nepheg, et Japhia,
8 also and Elisama, and Eliade, and Eliphalech, nyne.
necnon Elisama, et Eliada, et Elipheleth, novem:
9 Alle these weren the sones of David, with out the sones of secoundarie wyues; and thei hadden a sistir, Thamar.
omnes hi, filii David absque filiis concubinarum: habueruntque sororem Thamar.
10 Sotheli the sone of Salomon was Roboam, whos sone Abia gendride Asa;
Filius autem Salomonis, Roboam: cujus Abia filius genuit Asa. De hoc quoque natus est Josaphat,
11 and Josephat, the fadir of Joram, was borun of this Asa; which Joram gendride Ocozie, of whom Joas was borun.
pater Joram: qui Joram genuit Ochoziam, ex quo ortus est Joas:
12 And Amasie, the sone of this Joas, gendride Azarie; sotheli Azarie, the sone of Joathan,
et hujus Amasias filius genuit Azariam. Porro Azariæ filius Joatham
13 gendride Achaz, the fadir of Ezechie; of whom Manasses was borun.
procreavit Achaz patrem Ezechiæ, de quo natus est Manasses.
14 But also Manasses gendride Amon, the fadir of Josias.
Sed et Manasses genuit Amon patrem Josiæ.
15 Forsothe the sones of Josias weren, the firste gendrid sone, Johannan; the secounde, Joachym; the thridde, Sedechie; the fourthe, Sellum.
Filii autem Josiæ fuerunt: primogenitus Johanan, secundus Joakim, tertius Sedecias, quartus Sellum.
16 Of Joachym was borun Jechonye, and Sedechie.
De Joakim natus est Jechonias, et Sedecias.
17 The sones of Jechonye weren Asir,
Filii Jechoniæ fuerunt: Asir, Salathiel,
18 Salatiel, Melchiram, Phadaie, Sennaser, and Jech, Semma, Sama, and Nadabia.
Melchiram, Phadaia, Senneser, et Jecemia, Sama, et Nadabia.
19 Of Phadaie weren borun Zorobabel, and Semey. Zorobabel gendryde Mosolla, Ananye, and Salomyth, the sister of hem; and Asaba,
De Phadaia orti sunt Zorobabel et Semei. Zorobabel genuit Mosollam, Hananiam, et Salomith sororem eorum:
20 and Ochol, and Barachie, and Asadaie, and Josabesed, fyue.
Hasaban quoque, et Ohol, et Barachian, et Hasadian, Josabhesed, quinque.
21 Forsothe the sone of Ananye was Falcias, the fadir of Jeseie, whose sone was Raphaie. And the sone of him was Arnan, of whom was borun Abdia, whos sone was Sechema.
Filius autem Hananiæ, Phaltias pater Jeseiæ, cujus filius Raphaia: hujus quoque filius, Arnan, de quo natus est Obdia, cujus filius fuit Sechenias.
22 The sone of Sechema was Semeia, whose sones weren Archus, and Gegal, and Baaria, and Naaria, and Saphat, and Sela; sixe in noumbre.
Filius Secheniæ, Semeia: cujus filii Hattus, et Jegaal, et Baria, et Naaria, et Saphat, sex numero.
23 The sones of Naaria weren thre, Helionai, and Ezechie, and Zichram.
Filius Naariæ, Elioënai, et Ezechias, et Ezricam, tres.
24 The sones of Helionai weren seuene, Odyna, and Eliasub, and Pheleia, and Accub, and Johannan, and Dalaia, and Anani.
Filii Elioënai, Oduia, et Eliasub, et Pheleia, et Accub, et Johanan, et Dalaia, et Anani, septem.
