Psalms 149

1 Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the holy ones.

૧યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો. તેમની સમક્ષ નવું ગીત ગાઓ; સંતોની સભામાં તેમની સ્તુતિ કરો.

2 Let Israel rejoice in him who made them. Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

૨ઇઝરાયલ પોતાના સર્જનહારથી આનંદ પામે; સિયોનના લોકો પોતાના રાજાને લીધે આનંદ મનાવો.

3 Let them praise his name in the dance! Let them sing praises to him with tambourine and harp!

૩તેઓ તેના નામની સ્તુતિ નૃત્યસહિત કરો; ખંજરી તથા વીણાથી તેમનાં સ્તોત્ર ગાઓ.

4 For the LORD takes pleasure in his people. He crowns the humble with salvation [yeshu`ah].

૪કારણ કે યહોવાહ પોતાના લોકોથી આનંદ માને છે; તે નમ્રજનોને ઉદ્ધારથી સુશોભિત કરે છે.

5 Let the holy ones rejoice in honour. Let them sing for joy on their beds.

૫સંતો વિજયમાં હરખાઓ; પોતાની પથારીમાં પણ તમે આનંદનાં ગીતો ગાઓ.

6 May the high praises of God be in their mouths, and a two-edged sword in their hand,

૬તેઓના મુખમાંથી ઈશ્વરની ઉત્તમ સ્તુતિ ગવાઓ અને તેઓના હાથમાં બેધારી તલવાર રહો.

7 to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples;

૭તેઓ વિદેશીઓને બદલો વાળે અને લોકોને શિક્ષા પહોંચાડે.

8 to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

૮તેઓ પોતાના રાજાઓને સાંકળોથી અને તેઓના હાકેમોને લોખંડની બેડીઓથી બાંધે.

9 to execute on them the written judgement. All his holy ones have this honour. Praise the LORD!

૯લખેલો ચુકાદો તેમના પર બજાવે. એવું મન તેમના બધા સંતોને છે. યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો.
