Nehemiah 7
1 Now when the wall was built and I had set up the doors, and the gatekeepers and the singers and the Levites were appointed,
जब शहरपनाह बन चुकी और मैंने दरवाज़े लगा लिए, और दरबान और गानेवाले और लावी मुक़र्रर हो गए,
2 I put my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the governor of the fortress, in charge of Jerusalem; for he was a faithful man and feared God above many.
तो मैंने येरूशलेम को अपने भाई हनानी और क़िले' के हाकिम हनानियाह के सुपुर्द किया, क्यूँकि वह अमानत दार और बहुतों से ज़्यादा ख़ुदा तरस था।
3 I said to them, “Don’t let the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun is hot; and while they stand guard, let them shut the doors, and you bar them; and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, everyone in his watch, with everyone near his house.”
और मैंने उनसे कहा कि जब तक धूप तेज़ न हो येरूशलेम के फाटक न खुलें, और जब वह पहरे पर खड़े हों तो किवाड़े बन्द किए जाएँ, और तुम उनमें अड़बंगे लगाओ और येरूशलेम के बाशिन्दों में से पहरेवाले मुक़र्रर करो कि हर एक अपने घर के सामने अपने पहरे पर रहे।
4 Now the city was wide and large; but the people were few therein, and the houses were not built.
और शहर तो वसी' और बड़ा था, लेकिन उसमें लोग कम थे और घर बने न थे।
5 My God put into my heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be listed by genealogy. I found the book of the genealogy of those who came up at the first, and I found this written in it:
और मेरे ख़ुदा ने मेरे दिल में डाला कि अमीरों और सरदारों और लोगों को इकठ्ठा करूँ ताकि नसबनामे के मुताबिक़ उनका शुमार किया जाए और मुझे उन लोगों का नसबनामा मिला जो पहले आए थे, और उसमें ये लिखा हुआ पाया:
6 These are the children of the province who went up out of the captivity of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and who returned to Jerusalem and to Judah, everyone to his city,
मुल्क के जिन लोगों को शाह — ए — बाबुल नबूकदनज़र बाबुल को ले गया था, उन ग़ुलामों की ग़ुलामी में से वह जो निकल आए, और येरूशलेम और यहूदाह में अपने अपने शहर को गए ये हैं,
7 who came with Zerubbabel, Yeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, and Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
जो ज़रुब्बाबुल, यशू'अ, नहमियाह, 'अज़रियाह, रा'मियाह, नहमानी, मर्दकी बिलशान मिसफ़रत, बिगवई, नहूम और बा'ना के साथ आए थे। बनी — इस्राईल के लोगों का शुमार ये था:
8 The children of Parosh: two thousand and one hundred and seventy-two.
बनी पर'ऊस, दो हज़ार एक सौ बहतर;
9 The children of Shephatiah: three hundred and seventy-two.
बनी सफ़तियाह, तीन सौ बहतर;
10 The children of Arah: six hundred and fifty-two.
बनी अरख़, छ: सौ बावन;
11 The children of Pahathmoab, of the children of Yeshua and Joab: two thousand and eight hundred and eighteen.
बनी पख़त — मोआब जो यशू'अ और योआब की नसल में से थे, दो हज़ार आठ सौ अठारह;
12 The children of Elam: one thousand and two hundred and fifty-four.
बनी 'ऐलाम, एक हज़ार दो सौ चव्वन,
13 The children of Zattu: eight hundred and forty-five.
बनी ज़त्तू, आठ सौ पैन्तालीस;
14 The children of Zaccai: seven hundred and sixty.
बनी ज़क्की, सात सौ साठ;
15 The children of Binnui: six hundred and forty-eight.
बनी बिनबी, छ: सौ अठतालीस;
16 The children of Bebai: six hundred and twenty-eight.
बनी बबई, छ: सौ अठाईस;
17 The children of Azgad: two thousand and three hundred and twenty-two.
बनी 'अज़जाद, दो हज़ार तीन सौ बाईस;
18 The children of Adonikam: six hundred and sixty-seven.
बनी अदुनिक़ाम छ: सौ सड़सठ;
19 The children of Bigvai: two thousand and sixty-seven.
बनी बिगवई, दो हज़ार सड़सठ;
20 The children of Adin: six hundred and fifty-five.
बनी 'अदीन, छ: सौ पचपन,
21 The children of Ater: of Hezekiah, ninety-eight.
हिज़क़ियाह के ख़ान्दान में से बनी अतीर, अट्ठानवे;
22 The children of Hashum: three hundred and twenty-eight.
बनी हशूम, तीन सौ अठाईस;
23 The children of Bezai: three hundred and twenty-four.
बनी बज़ै, तीन सौ चौबीस;
24 The children of Hariph: one hundred and twelve.
बनी ख़ारिफ़, एक सौ बारह,
25 The children of Gibeon: ninety-five.
बनी जिबा'ऊन, पचानवे;
26 The men of Bethlehem and Netophah: one hundred and eighty-eight.
बैतलहम और नतूफ़ाह के लोग, एक सौ अठासी,
27 The men of Anathoth: one hundred and twenty-eight.
'अन्तोत के लोग, एक सौ अट्ठाईस;
28 The men of Beth Azmaveth: forty-two.
बैत 'अज़मावत के लोग, बयालीस,
29 The men of Kiriath Jearim, Chephirah, and Beeroth: seven hundred and forty-three.
करयतया'रीम, कफ़ीरा और बैरोत के लोग, सात सौ तैन्तालीस;
30 The men of Ramah and Geba: six hundred and twenty-one.
रामा और जिबा' के लोग, छ: सौ इक्कीस;
31 The men of Michmas: one hundred and twenty-two.
मिक्मास के लोग, एक सौ बाईस;
32 The men of Bethel and Ai: one hundred and twenty-three.
बैतएल और एे के लोग, एक सौ तेईस;
33 The men of the other Nebo: fifty-two.
दूसरे नबू के लोग, बावन;
34 The children of the other Elam: one thousand and two hundred and fifty-four.
दूसरे 'ऐलाम की औलाद, एक हज़ार दो सौ चव्वन;
35 The children of Harim: three hundred and twenty.
बनी हारिम, तीन सौ बीस;
36 The children of Jericho: three hundred and forty-five.
यरीहू के लोग, तीन सौ पैन्तालीस;
37 The children of Lod, Hadid, and Ono: seven hundred and twenty-one.
लूद और हादीद और ओनू के लोग, सात सौ इक्कीस;
38 The children of Senaah: three thousand and nine hundred and thirty.
बनी सनाआह, तीन हज़ार नौ सौ तीस।
39 The priests: The children of Jedaiah, of the house of Yeshua: nine hundred and seventy-three.
फिर काहिन या'नी यशू'अ के घराने में से बनी यदा'याह, नौ सौ तिहत्तर;
40 The children of Immer: one thousand and fifty-two.
बनी इम्मेर, एक हज़ार बावन;
41 The children of Pashhur: one thousand and two hundred and forty-seven.
बनी फ़शहूर, एक हज़ार दो सौ सैन्तालीस;
42 The children of Harim: one thousand and seventeen.
बनी हारिम, एक हज़ार सत्रह।
43 The Levites: the children of Yeshua, of Kadmiel, of the children of Hodevah: seventy-four.
फिर लावी या'नी बनी होदावा में से यशू'अ और क़दमीएल की औलाद, चौहत्तर;
44 The singers: the children of Asaph: one hundred and forty-eight.
और गानेवाले या'नी बनी आसफ़, एक सौ अठतालीस;
45 The gatekeepers: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai: one hundred and thirty-eight.
और दरबान जो सलूम और अतीर और तलमून और 'अक़्क़ूब और ख़तीता और सोबै की औलाद थे, एक सौ अठतीस।
46 The temple servants: the children of Ziha, the children of Hasupha, the children of Tabbaoth,
और नतीनीम, या'नी बनी ज़ीहा, बनी हसूफ़ा, बनी तब'ओत,
47 the children of Keros, the children of Sia, the children of Padon,
बनी क़रूस, बनी सीगा, बनी फ़दून,
48 the children of Lebana, the children of Hagaba, the children of Salmai,
बनी लिबाना, बनी हजाबा, बनी शलमी,
49 the children of Hanan, the children of Giddel, the children of Gahar,
बनी हनान, बनी जिद्देल, बनी जहार,
50 the children of Reaiah, the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda,
बनी रियायाह, बनी रसीन, बनी नकूदा,
51 the children of Gazzam, the children of Uzza, the children of Paseah,
बनी जज़्ज़ाम, बनी उज़्ज़ा, बनी फ़ासख़,
52 the children of Besai, the children of Meunim, the children of Nephushesim,
बनी बसै, बनी म'ऊनीम, बनी नफ़ूशसीम
53 the children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur,
बनी बक़बूक़, बनी हक़ूफ़ा, बनी हरहूर,
54 the children of Bazlith, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha,
बनी बज़लीत, बनी महीदा, बनी हरशा
55 the children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Temah,
बनी बरक़ूस, बनी सीसरा, बनी तामह,
56 the children of Neziah, and the children of Hatipha.
बनी नज़ियाह, बनी ख़तीफ़ा।
57 The children of Solomon’s servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,
सुलेमान के ख़ादिमों की औलाद: बनी सूती, बनी सूफ़िरत, बनी फ़रीदा,
58 the children of Jaala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
बनी या'ला, बनी दरक़ून, बनी जिद्देल,
59 the children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth Hazzebaim, and the children of Amon.
बनी सफ़तियाह, बनी ख़तील, बनी फूक़रत ज़बाइम और बनी अमून।
60 All the temple servants and the children of Solomon’s servants were three hundred and ninety-two.
सबनतीनीम और सुलेमान के ख़ादिमों की औलाद, तीन सौ बानवे।
61 These were those who went up from Tel Melah, Tel Harsha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer; but they could not show their fathers’ houses, nor their offspring, whether they were of Israel:
और जो लोग तल — मलह और तलहरसा और करोब और अदून और इम्मेर से गए थे, लेकिन अपने आबाई ख़ान्दानों और नसल का पता न दे सके कि इस्राईल में से थे या नहीं, सो ये हैं:
62 The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda: six hundred and forty-two.
बनी दिलायाह, बनी तूबियाह, बनी नक़ूदा, छ: सौ बयालिस।
63 Of the priests: the children of Hobaiah, the children of Hakkoz, the children of Barzillai, who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.
और काहिनों में से बनी हबायाह, बनी हक़्क़ूस और बरज़िल्ली की औलाद जिसने जिल'आदी बरज़िल्ली की बेटियों में से एक लड़की को ब्याह लिया और उनके नाम से कहलाया।
64 These searched for their genealogical records, but couldn’t find them. Therefore they were deemed disqualified and removed from the priesthood.
उन्होंने अपनी सनद उनके बीच जो नसबनामों के मुताबिक़ गिने गए थे ढूँडी, लेकिन वह न मिली। इसलिए वह नापाक माने गए और कहानत से ख़ारिज हुए;
65 The governor told them not to eat of the most holy things until a priest stood up to minister with Urim and Thummim.
और हाकिम ने उनसे कहा कि वह पाकतरीन चीज़ों में से न खाएँ, जब तक कोई काहिन ऊरीम — ओ — तुम्मीम लिए हुए खड़ा न हो।
66 The whole assembly together was forty-two thousand and three hundred and sixty,
सारी जमा'अत के लोग मिलकर बयालीस हज़ार तीन सौ साठ थे;
67 in addition to their male servants and their female servants, of whom there were seven thousand and three hundred and thirty-seven. They had two hundred and forty-five singing men and singing women.
'अलावा उनके ग़ुलामों और लौंडियों का शुमार सात हज़ार तीन सौ सैन्तीस था, और उनके साथ दो सौ पैन्तालिस गानेवाले और गानेवालियाँ थीं।
68 Their horses were seven hundred and thirty-six; their mules, two hundred and forty-five;
उनके घोड़े, सात सौ छत्तीस; उनके खच्चर, दो सौ पैन्तालीस;
69 their camels, four hundred and thirty-five; their donkeys, six thousand and seven hundred and twenty.
उनके ऊँट, चार सौ पैन्तीस; उनके गधे, छः हज़ार सात सौ बीस थे।
70 Some from amongst the heads of fathers’ households gave to the work. The governor gave to the treasury one thousand darics of gold, fifty basins, and five hundred and thirty priests’ garments.
और आबाई ख़ान्दानों के सरदारों में से कुछ ने उस काम के लिए दिया। हाकिम ने एक हज़ार सोने के दिरहम, और पचास प्याले, और काहिनों के पाँच सौ तीस लिबास ख़ज़ाने में दाख़िल किए।
71 Some of the heads of fathers’ households gave into the treasury of the work twenty thousand darics of gold, and two thousand and two hundred minas of silver.
और आबाई ख़ान्दानों के सरदारों में से कुछ ने उस कम के ख़ज़ाने में बीस हज़ार सोने के दिरहम, और दो हज़ार दो सौ मना चाँदी दी।
72 That which the rest of the people gave was twenty thousand darics of gold, plus two thousand minas of silver, and sixty-seven priests’ garments.
और बाक़ी लोगों ने जो दिया वह बीस हज़ार सोने के दिरहम, और दो हज़ार मना चाँदी, और काहिनों के सड़सठ पैराहन थे।
73 So the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, some of the people, the temple servants, and all Israel lived in their cities. When the seventh month had come, the children of Israel were in their cities.
इसलिए काहिन ओर लावी और दरबान और गाने वाले और कुछ लोग, और नतीनीम, और तमाम इस्राईल अपने — अपने शहर में बस गए।
