Nehemiah 3

1 Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brothers the priests, and they built the sheep gate. They sanctified it, and set up its doors. They sanctified it even to the tower of Hammeah, to the tower of Hananel.

૧પછી એલ્યાશીબ મુખ્ય યાજકે તથા તેના યાજક ભાઈઓએ ઊઠીને ઘેટાંનો દરવાજો બાંધ્યો. તેઓએ તેને પવિત્ર કર્યા પછી તેનાં સ્થાને બારણાં બેસાડ્યાં. તેઓએ હામ્મેઆહના બુરજ સુધી અને છેક હનાનએલના બુરજ સુધી તેની પ્રતિષ્ઠા કરી.

2 Next to him the men of Jericho built. Next to them Zaccur the son of Imri built.

૨તેની પાસે યરીખોના માણસો બાંધકામ કરતા હતા. તેઓની પાસે ઈમ્રીનો દીકરો ઝાક્કૂર બાંધકામ કરતો હતો.

3 The sons of Hassenaah built the fish gate. They laid its beams, and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars.

૩હસ્સેનાના દીકરાઓએ મચ્છીદરવાજો બાંધ્યો. તેઓએ તેના મોભ ગોઠવ્યા અને તેના દરવાજા બેસાડ્યા. મિજાગરાં જડ્યાં અને ભૂંગળો બેસાડી.

4 Next to them, Meremoth the son of Uriah, the son of Hakkoz made repairs. Next to them, Meshullam the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabel made repairs. Next to them, Zadok the son of Baana made repairs.

૪તેઓની પાસે હાક્કોસનો દીકરો, ઉરિયાનો દીકરો, મરેમોથ મરામત કરતો હતો. તેની પાસે મશેઝાબએલનો દીકરો બેરેખ્યાનો દીકરો મશુલ્લામ મરામત કરતો હતો. તેની પાસે બાનાહનો દીકરો સાદોક સમારકામ કરતો હતો.

5 Next to them, the Tekoites made repairs; but their nobles didn’t put their necks to the Lord’s work.

૫તેની પછી તકોઈઓ મરામત કરતા હતા, પણ તેઓના આગેવાનોએ પોતાના માલિકના કામમાં મદદ કરી નહિ.

6 Joiada the son of Paseah and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah repaired the old gate. They laid its beams and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars.

૬જૂના દરવાજાનું સમારકામ પાસેઆનો દીકરો યોયાદા તથા બસોદ્યાનો દીકરો મશુલ્લામ કરતા હતા. તેઓએ તેના પાટડા ગોઠવ્યા, તેના દરવાજા બેસાડ્યા અને મિજાગરાં જડીને ભૂંગળો બેસાડી.

7 Next to them, Melatiah the Gibeonite and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon and of Mizpah, repaired the residence of the governor beyond the River.

૭તેઓની પાસે મલાટયા ગિબ્યોની તથા યાદોન મેરોનોથી હતા. ગિબ્યોન તથા મિસ્પાના માણસો મિસ્પા નદીની પેલે પારના રાજ્યપાલને આધીન હતા. તેઓ સમારકામ કરતા હતા.

8 Next to him, Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, goldsmiths, made repairs. Next to him, Hananiah, one of the perfumers, made repairs, and they fortified Jerusalem even to the wide wall.

૮તેઓની પાસે હાર્હાયાનો દીકરો ઉઝિયેલ સમારકામ કરતો હતો, તે સોની હતો. તેની પાસે હનાન્યા નામનો એક ગાંધી મરામત કરતો હતો. તેઓએ પહોળા કોટ સુધી યરુશાલેમનો કોટ બાંધ્યો.

9 Next to them, Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of half the district of Jerusalem, made repairs.

૯તેઓની બાજુમાં હૂરનો દીકરો રફાયા સમારકામ કરતો હતો. તે યરુશાલેમના અર્ધા વિભાગનો અધિકારી હતો.

10 Next to them, Jedaiah the son of Harumaph made repairs across from his house. Next to him, Hattush the son of Hashabneiah made repairs.

૧૦તેની બાજુમાં હરુમાફનો દીકરો યદાયા પોતાના ઘરની સામે મરામત કરતો હતો. તેની પાસે હશાબ્નયાનો દીકરો હાટ્ટુશ મરામત કરતો હતો.

11 Malchijah the son of Harim and Hasshub the son of Pahathmoab repaired another portion and the tower of the furnaces.

૧૧હારીમનો દીકરો માલ્કિયા તથા પાહાથ-મોઆબનો દીકરો હાશ્શૂબ બીજા એક ભાગની તથા ભઠ્ઠીઓના બુરજની મરામત કરતા હતા.

12 Next to him, Shallum the son of Hallohesh, the ruler of half the district of Jerusalem, he and his daughters made repairs.

૧૨તેઓની બાજુમાં હાલ્લોહેશનો દીકરો શાલ્લુમ, જે યરુશાલેમના અર્ધા વિભાગનો અધિકારી હતો, તે તથા તેની દીકરીઓ સમારકામ કરતાં હતાં.

13 Hanun and the inhabitants of Zanoah repaired the valley gate. They built it, and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars, and one thousand cubits of the wall to the dung gate.

૧૩હાનૂન તથા ઝાનોઆના રહેવાસીઓ ખીણના દરવાજાનું સમારકામ કરતા હતા. તેઓએ તે કામ પૂરું કરીને તેના દરવાજા બેસાડ્યા અને તેને મિજાગરાં જડ્યાં તથા ભૂંગળો બેસાડી. તેઓએ કચરાના દરવાજા સુધી એક હજાર હાથ જેટલી લાંબી દીવાલનું સમારકામ કર્યું હતું.

14 Malchijah the son of Rechab, the ruler of the district of Beth Haccherem, repaired the dung gate. He built it, and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars.

૧૪કચરાના દરવાજાનું સમારકામ રેખાબનો દીકરો માલ્કિયા કરતો હતો, તે બેથ-હાકકેરેમના જિલ્લાનો અધિકારી હતો. તેણે તેનું સમારકામ પૂરું કરીને તેના દરવાજા બેસાડ્યા. તેને મિજાગરાં જડ્યાં તથા ભૂંગળો બેસાડી.

15 Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of the district of Mizpah, repaired the spring gate. He built it, covered it, and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars; and he repaired the wall of the pool of Shelah by the king’s garden, even to the stairs that go down from David’s city.

૧૫કારંજાના દરવાજાની મરામત કોલ-હોઝેહનો દીકરો શાલ્લુમ, જે મિસ્પાના જિલ્લાનો અધિકારી હતો, તે કરતો હતો. તેણે તે સમારકામ કરી તેનાં બારણા બેસાડ્યા. તેમને મિજાગરાં જડ્યાં અને ભૂંગળો બેસાડી. રાજાના બગીચા પાસેના શેલાના તળાવની દીવાલ પણ છેક દાઉદનગરમાંથી ઊતરવાની સીડી સુધી બાંધ્યો.

16 After him, Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of half the district of Beth Zur, made repairs to the place opposite the tombs of David, and to the pool that was made, and to the house of the mighty men.

૧૬તેની બાજુમાં આઝબૂકનો દીકરો નહેમ્યા, જે બેથ-સૂરના અર્ધા જીલ્લાનો અધિકારી હતો, તેણે દાઉદની કબરોની સામેની જગ્યા સુધી તથા ખોદીને બનાવેલા તળાવ સુધી અને શૂરવીરોના ઘર સુધીના ભાગનું સમારકામ કરાવ્યું.

17 After him, the Levites—Rehum the son of Bani made repairs. Next to him, Hashabiah, the ruler of half the district of Keilah, made repairs for his district.

૧૭તેના પછી લેવીઓ સમારકામ કરતા હતા, એટલે બાનીના દીકરો રહૂમ. તેની પાસે હશાબ્યા, જે કઈલાના અર્ધા જિલ્લાનો અધિકારી, તે પોતાના ભાગની મરામત કરતો હતો.

18 After him, their brothers, Bavvai the son of Henadad, the ruler of half the district of Keilah made repairs.

૧૮તેની બાજુમાં તેઓના દેશના માણસો, એટલે હેનાદાદનો દીકરો બાવ્વાય, જે કઈલાના અર્ધા જિલ્લાનો કારભારી હતો. તે સમારકામ કરતો હતો.

19 Next to him, Ezer the son of Yeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, repaired another portion across from the ascent to the armoury at the turning of the wall.

૧૯તેના પછી યેશૂઆનો દીકરો એઝેર, જે મિસ્પાનો અધિકારી હતો, તે કોટના ખાંચા આગળના શસ્ત્રાલયના ચઢાવ સામે બીજા એક ભાગની મરામત કરાવતો હતો.

20 After him, Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired another portion, from the turning of the wall to the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.

૨૦તેની બાજુમાં ઝાકકાયનો દીકરો બારુખ કોટના ખાંચાથી તે એલ્યાશીબ મુખ્ય યાજકના ઘરના બારણાં સુધી બીજા એક ભાગની મરામત ચીવટપૂર્વક કરતો હતો.

21 After him, Meremoth the son of Uriah the son of Hakkoz repaired another portion, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib.

૨૧તેની બાજુમાં હાક્કોસના પુત્ર ઉરિયાના પુત્ર મરેમોથ એલ્યાશીબના ઘરના બારણાથી તે એલ્યાશીબના ઘરના બીજા છેડા સુધી બીજા એક ભાગની મરામત કરતો હતો.

22 After him, the priests, the men of the surrounding area made repairs.

૨૨તેની બાજુમાં યરુશાલેમની આસપાસના પ્રદેશમાં રહેતા યાજકોએ મરામત કરતા હતા.

23 After them, Benjamin and Hasshub made repairs across from their house. After them, Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah made repairs beside his own house.

૨૩તેઓની બાજુમાં બિન્યામીન તથા હાશ્શૂબ પોતપોતાના ઘરની સામે મરામત કરતા હતા. તેઓની બાજુમાં અનાન્યાનો પુત્ર માસેયાનો પુત્ર અઝાર્યા તેના પોતાના ઘર આગળ મરામત કરતો હતો.

24 After him, Binnui the son of Henadad repaired another portion, from the house of Azariah to the turning of the wall, and to the corner.

૨૪તેના પછી હેનાદાદનો પુત્ર બિન્નૂઈ અઝાર્યાના ઘરથી તે કોટના ખાંચા સુધી, બીજા ભાગની મરામત કરતો હતો.

25 Palal the son of Uzai made repairs opposite the turning of the wall, and the tower that stands out from the upper house of the king, which is by the court of the guard. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh made repairs.

૨૫ઉઝાયનો પુત્ર પાલાલ કોટના ખાંચા સામે તથા જે બુરજ રાજાના ઉપલા મહેલ પાસે ચોકીદારોના આંગણા આગળ હતો, તેની સામે મરામત કરતો હતો. તેની બાજુમાં પારોશનો પુત્ર પદાયા મરામત કરતો હતો.

26 (Now the temple servants lived in Ophel, to the place opposite the water gate towards the east, and the tower that stands out.)

૨૬હવે ભક્તિસ્થાનના સેવકો ઓફેલમાં રહેતા હતા, તેઓ પૂર્વની બાજુ પાણીના દરવાજાથી તે બહાર પડતા બુરજ સુધીના ખૂણાની મરામત કરતા હતા.

27 After him the Tekoites repaired another portion, opposite the great tower that stands out, and to the wall of Ophel.

૨૭તેની બાજુમાં તકોઈઓ બહાર પડતા મોટા બુરજ સામેથી તે છેક ઓફેલના કોટ સુધી બીજા એક ભાગની મરામત કરતા હતા.

28 Above the horse gate, the priests made repairs, everyone across from his own house.

૨૮અશ્વભાગળ ઉપર યાજકો પોતપોતાના ઘરની સામે મરામત કરતા હતા.

29 After them, Zadok the son of Immer made repairs across from his own house. After him, Shemaiah the son of Shecaniah, the keeper of the east gate, made repairs.

૨૯તેઓના બાજુમાં ઈમ્મેરનો પુત્ર સાદોક પોતાના ઘરની સામેના ભાગની મરામત કરતો હતો. તેની બાજુમાં પૂર્વ ભાગળનો રક્ષક શખાન્યાનો પુત્ર શમાયા મરામત કરતો હતો.

30 After him, Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun, the sixth son of Zalaph, repaired another portion. After him, Meshullam the son of Berechiah made repairs across from his room.

૩૦તેની બાજુમાં શેલેમ્યાનો પુત્ર હનાન્યા અને સાલાફનો છઠ્ઠો પુત્ર હાનૂન બીજા એક ભાગની મરામત કરતો હતો. તેની બાજુમાં બેરેખ્યાનો પુત્ર મશુલ્લામ તેની ઓરડીના સામે વાળા ભાગની મરામત કરતો હતો.

31 After him, Malchijah, one of the goldsmiths to the house of the temple servants, and of the merchants, made repairs opposite the gate of Hammiphkad and to the ascent of the corner.

૩૧તેની બાજુમાં માલ્કિયા નામનો સોની ભક્તિસ્થાનના સેવકો અને વેપારીઓના ઘરો સુધી, હામ્મિફકાદના દરવાજાની સામે તથા ખૂણા ઉપરની ઓરડીની મરામત કરતો હતો.

32 Between the ascent of the corner and the sheep gate, the goldsmiths and the merchants made repairs.

૩૨ખૂણાની બાજુની ઓરડી તથા ઘેટાં ભાગળની વચ્ચેના ભાગની મરામત સોનીઓ તથા વેપારીઓ કરતા હતા.
