Yochanan 6
1 After these things, Yeshua went away to the other side of the sea of Galilee, which is also called the Sea of Tiberias.
Pasadas estas cosas, se fue Jesús a la otra parte de la mar de Galilea, que es la mar de Tiberias.
2 A great multitude followed him, because they saw his signs which he did on those who were sick.
Y seguíale grande multitud, porque veían sus milagros que hacía en los enfermos.
3 Yeshua went up into the mountain, and he sat there with his disciples.
Subió pues Jesús a un monte, y se sentó allí con sus discípulos.
4 Now the Passover, the Jewish festival, was at hand.
Y estaba cerca la pascua, la fiesta de los Judíos.
5 Yeshua therefore, lifting up his eyes and seeing that a great multitude was coming to him, said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, that these may eat?”
Y como alzó Jesús los ojos, y vio que había venido a él una grande multitud, dice a Felipe: ¿De dónde compraremos pan para que coman éstos?
6 He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do.
Mas esto decía tentándole; porque él sabía lo que había de hacer.
7 Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may receive a little.”
Respondióle Felipe: Doscientos denarios de pan no les bastarán, para que cada uno de ellos tome un poco.
8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him,
Dícele uno de sus discípulos, Andrés, hermano de Simón Pedro:
9 “There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these amongst so many?”
Un muchacho está aquí que tiene cinco panes de cebada y dos pececillos; ¿mas qué es esto entre tantos?
10 Yeshua said, “Have the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in that place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
Entonces Jesús dijo: Hacéd recostar los hombres. Y había mucha yerba en aquel lugar; y recostáronse como en número de cinco mil varones.
11 Yeshua took the loaves, and having given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to those who were sitting down, likewise also of the fish as much as they desired.
Y tomó Jesús aquellos panes, y habiendo hecho gracias, repartió a los discípulos, y los discípulos a los que estaban recostados; y asimismo de los peces cuanto querían.
12 When they were filled, he said to his disciples, “Gather up the broken pieces which are left over, that nothing be lost.”
Y como fueron hartos, dijo a sus discípulos: Cogéd los pedazos que han quedado, porque no se pierda nada.
13 So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with broken pieces from the five barley loaves, which were left over by those who had eaten.
Recogiéron los pues, y llenaron doce esportones de pedazos de los cinco panes de cebada, que sobraron a los que habían comido.
14 When therefore the people saw the sign which Yeshua did, they said, “This is truly the Prophet who comes into the world.”
Aquellos hombres entonces, como vieron el milagro que Jesús había hecho, decían: Este verdaderamente es el profeta, que había de venir al mundo.
15 Yeshua therefore, perceiving that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, withdrew again to the mountain by himself.
Entendiendo entonces Jesús, que habían de venir para tomarle por fuerza, y hacerle rey, volvió a huirse a un monte él solo.
16 When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea.
Y como se hizo tarde, descendieron sus discípulos a la mar,
17 They entered into the boat, and were going over the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Yeshua had not come to them.
Y entrando en una nave, iban atravesando el mar hacia Capernaum. Y era ya oscuro, y Jesús no había venido a ellos.
18 The sea was tossed by a great wind blowing.
Y la mar se comenzó a levantar con un gran viento, que soplaba.
19 When therefore they had rowed about twenty-five or thirty stadia, they saw Yeshua walking on the sea and drawing near to the boat; and they were afraid.
Y cuando hubieron navegado como veinte y cinco, o treinta estadios, ven a Jesús que andaba sobre la mar, y se acercaba a la nave; y tuvieron miedo.
20 But he said to them, “It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
Mas él les dijo: Yo soy: no tengáis miedo.
21 They were willing therefore to receive him into the boat. Immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.
Entonces ellos le recibieron de buena gana en la nave, y luego la nave llegó a la tierra donde iban.
22 On the next day, the multitude that stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except the one in which his disciples had embarked, and that Yeshua hadn’t entered with his disciples into the boat, but his disciples had gone away alone.
El día siguiente la gente que estaba de la otra parte de la mar, como vio que no había allí otra navecilla sino una, en la cual se habían entrado sus discípulos, y que Jesús no había entrado con sus discípulos en la nave, sino que sus discípulos solos se habían ido;
23 However, boats from Tiberias came near to the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given thanks.
Y que otras navecillas habían arribado de Tiberias, junto al lugar donde habían comido el pan, después de haber el Señor hecho gracias;
24 When the multitude therefore saw that Yeshua wasn’t there, nor his disciples, they themselves got into the boats and came to Capernaum, seeking Yeshua.
Como vio pues la gente que Jesús no estaba allí, ni sus discípulos, entraron ellos también en las navecillas, y vinieron a Capernaum buscando a Jesús.
25 When they found him on the other side of the sea, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you come here?”
Y hallándole de la otra parte de la mar, dijéronle: ¿Rabbi, cuándo llegaste acá?
26 Yeshua answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, you seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.
Respondióles Jesús, y dijo: De cierto, de cierto os digo, que me buscáis, no porque habéis visto los milagros, mas porque comisteis del pan, y os hartasteis.
27 Don’t work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.” (aiōnios g166)
Trabajád, no por la comida que perece, mas por la comida que a vida eterna permanece, la cual el Hijo del hombre os dará; porque a éste selló el Padre, es a saber, Dios. (aiōnios g166)
28 They said therefore to him, “What must we do, that we may work the works of God?”
Entonces le dijeron: ¿Qué haremos para que obremos las obras de Dios?
29 Yeshua answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
Respondió Jesús, y les dijo: Esta es la obra de Dios, que creáis en el que él envió.
30 They said therefore to him, “What then do you do for a sign, that we may see and believe you? What work do you do?
Dijéronle entonces: ¿Qué señal pues haces tú, para que veamos, y te creamos? ¿Qué obras tú?
31 Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness. As it is written, ‘He gave them bread out of heaven to eat.’”
Nuestros padres comieron el maná en el desierto, como está escrito: Pan del cielo les dio a comer.
32 Yeshua therefore said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, it wasn’t Moses who gave you the bread out of heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread out of heaven.
Y Jesús les dijo: De cierto, de cierto os digo, que no os dio Moisés el pan del cielo, mas mi Padre os da el verdadero pan del cielo.
33 For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.”
Porque el pan de Dios es aquel que descendió del cielo, y da vida al mundo.
34 They said therefore to him, “Lord, always give us this bread.”
Entonces le dijeron: Señor, dános siempre este pan.
35 Yeshua said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
Y Jesús les dijo: Yo soy el pan de vida: el que a mí viene, nunca tendrá hambre; y el que en mí cree, no tendrá sed jamás.
36 But I told you that you have seen me, and yet you don’t believe.
Mas ya os he dicho, que también me habéis visto, y no me creéis.
37 All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. He who comes to me I will in no way throw out.
Todo lo que el Padre me da, vendrá a mí; y al que a mí viene, no le echo fuera.
38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.
Porque he descendido del cielo, no para hacer mi voluntad, sino la voluntad de aquel que me envió.
39 This is the will of my Father who sent me, that of all he has given to me I should lose nothing, but should raise him up at the last day.
Y esta es la voluntad del Padre que me envió: Que de todo lo que me dio, no pierda yo nada de ello, sino que lo resucite en el día postrero.
40 This is the will of the one who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” (aiōnios g166)
Y esta es la voluntad de aquel que me envió: Que todo aquel que ve al Hijo, y cree en él, tenga vida eterna; y yo le resucitaré en el día postrero. (aiōnios g166)
41 The Judeans therefore murmured concerning him, because he said, “I am the bread which came down out of heaven.”
Murmuraban entonces de él los Judíos, porque había dicho: Yo soy el pan que descendí del cielo.
42 They said, “Isn’t this Yeshua, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How then does he say, ‘I have come down out of heaven’?”
Y decían: ¿No es éste Jesús, el hijo de José, cuyo padre y madre nosotros conocemos? ¿Cómo pues dice éste: Yo he descendido del cielo?
43 Therefore Yeshua answered them, “Don’t murmur amongst yourselves.
Y Jesús respondió, y les dijo: No murmuréis entre vosotros.
44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up in the last day.
Ninguno puede venir a mí, si el Padre que me envió no le trajere; y yo le resucitaré en el día postrero.
45 It is written in the Prophets, ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who hears from the Father and has learnt, comes to me.
Escrito está en los profetas: Y serán todos enseñados de Dios: así que todo aquel que oyó del Padre, y aprendió, viene a mí.
46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except he who is from God. He has seen the Father.
No que alguno haya visto al Padre, sino aquel que es de Dios, éste ha visto al Padre.
De cierto, de cierto os digo: El que cree en mí, tiene vida eterna. (aiōnios g166)
48 I am the bread of life.
Yo soy el pan de vida.
49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and they died.
Vuestros padres comieron el maná en el desierto, y han muerto.
50 This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, that anyone may eat of it and not die.
Este es el pan que desciende del cielo, para que el que de él comiere, no muera.
51 I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.” (aiōn g165)
Yo soy el pan vivo que ha descendido del cielo: si alguno comiere de este pan, vivirá para siempre; y el pan que yo daré es mi carne, la cual yo daré por la vida del mundo. (aiōn g165)
52 The Judeans therefore contended with one another, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”
Entonces los Judíos altercaban entre sí, diciendo: ¿Cómo puede este hombre darnos su carne a comer?
53 Yeshua therefore said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you don’t have life in yourselves.
Jesús les dijo entonces: De cierto, de cierto os digo: Si no coméis la carne del Hijo del hombre, y bebéis su sangre, no tenéis vida en vosotros.
54 He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (aiōnios g166)
El que come mi carne, y bebe mi sangre, tiene vida eterna; y yo le resucitaré en el día postrero. (aiōnios g166)
55 For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
Porque mi carne verdaderamente es comida, y mi sangre verdaderamente es bebida.
56 He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.
El que come mi carne, y bebe mi sangre, en mí mora, y yo en él.
57 As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on me will also live because of me.
Como me envió el Padre viviente, y yo vivo por el Padre, así también el que me come, él también vivirá por mí.
58 This is the bread which came down out of heaven—not as our fathers ate the manna and died. He who eats this bread will live forever.” (aiōn g165)
Este es el pan que descendió del cielo: no como vuestros padres que comieron el maná, y son muertos: el que come de este pan, vivirá eternamente. (aiōn g165)
59 He said these things in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
Estas cosas dijo en la sinagoga, enseñando en Capernaum.
60 Therefore many of his disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying! Who can listen to it?”
Entonces muchos de sus discípulos oyendo esto, dijeron: Dura es esta palabra, ¿quién la puede oír?
61 But Yeshua knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at this, said to them, “Does this cause you to stumble?
Y sabiendo Jesús en sí mismo que sus discípulos murmuraban de esto, les dijo: ¿Esto os escandaliza?
62 Then what if you would see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
¿Pues qué si viereis al Hijo del hombre subir donde estaba primero?
63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.
El espíritu es el que da vida: la carne de nada aprovecha: las palabras que yo os hablo, espíritu son, y vida son.
64 But there are some of you who don’t believe.” For Yeshua knew from the beginning who they were who didn’t believe, and who it was who would betray him.
Mas hay algunos de vosotros que no creen. Porque Jesús desde el principio sabía quiénes eran los que no habían de creer, y quien le había de entregar.
65 He said, “For this cause I have said to you that no one can come to me, unless it is given to him by my Father.”
Y decía: Por eso os he dicho: Que ninguno puede venir a mí, si no le fuere dado de mi Padre.
66 At this, many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him.
Desde entonces muchos de sus discípulos volvieron atrás, y ya no andaban más con él.
67 Yeshua said therefore to the twelve, “You don’t also want to go away, do you?”
Dijo, pues, Jesús a los doce: ¿Queréis vosotros iros también?
68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Respondióle entonces Simón Pedro: ¿Señor, a quién iremos? tú tienes las palabras de vida eterna. (aiōnios g166)
69 We have come to believe and know that you are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
Y nosotros creemos y conocemos, que tú eres el Cristo, el Hijo de Dios viviente.
70 Yeshua answered them, “Didn’t I choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?”
Jesús les respondió: ¿No os he yo escogido doce, y el uno de vosotros es diablo?
71 Now he spoke of Judah, the son of Simon Iscariot, for it was he who would betray him, being one of the twelve.
Y hablaba de Júdas Iscariote, hijo de Simón; porque éste era el que le había de entregar, el cual era uno de los doce.
