Romans 5
1 Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;
Ուրեմն մենք՝ հաւատքով արդարացած ըլլալով՝ խաղաղութիւն ունինք Աստուծոյ հետ մեր Տէրոջ՝ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի միջոցով:
2 through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. We rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Անով նաեւ արտօնութիւն ունեցանք հաւատքով մօտենալու այս շնորհքին՝ որուն մէջ կեցած ենք, եւ կը պարծենանք Աստուծոյ փառքին յոյսով:
3 Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance;
Ո՛չ միայն այսքան, հապա կը պարծենանք տառապանքներու մէջ ալ. որովհետեւ գիտենք թէ տառապանքը կ՚իրագործէ համբերութիւն,
4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;
համբերութիւնը՝ փորձառութիւն, ու փորձառութիւնը՝ յոյս.
5 and hope doesn’t disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
եւ յոյսը ամօթահար չ՚ըներ, որովհետեւ Աստուծոյ սէրը մեր սիրտերուն մէջ սփռուած է Սուրբ Հոգիին միջոցով՝ որ տրուեցաւ մեզի:
6 For while we were yet weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
Արդարեւ մինչ մենք տակաւին տկար էինք, յարմար ժամանակին՝ Քրիստոս մեռաւ ամբարիշտներուն համար.
7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man. Yet perhaps for a good person someone would even dare to die.
հազիւ թէ արդարի մը համար մէկը ուզէ մեռնիլ, (թերեւս բարի մարդու մը համար մէկը յօժարի մեռնիլ, )
8 But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
մինչդեռ Աստուած մեզի հանդէպ ունեցած իր սէրը ապացուցանեց այն իրողութեամբ, որ երբ տակաւին մեղաւոր էինք՝
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God’s wrath through him.
Քրիստոս մեռաւ մեզի համար. ուրեմն հիմա որ արդարացանք իր արիւնով, ո՜րչափ աւելի բարկութենէն պիտի փրկուինք իրմով:
10 For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.
Որովհետեւ եթէ մեր թշնամի եղած ատենը հաշտուեցանք Աստուծոյ հետ իր Որդիին մահով, ո՜րչափ աւելի մեր հաշտուած ատենը պիտի փրկուինք անոր կեանքով:
11 Not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
Եւ ո՛չ միայն ասիկա, այլ նաեւ կը պարծենանք Աստուծմով՝ մեր Տէրոջ՝ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի միջոցով, որով հիմա ստացանք հաշտութիւնը:
12 Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin, so death passed to all men because all sinned.
Ուստի ինչպէս մէկ մարդով մեղքը աշխարհ մտաւ, ու մեղքով՝ մահը, եւ այնպէս՝ մահը փոխանցուեցաւ բոլոր մարդոց, քանի որ բոլորն ալ մեղանչեցին.
13 For until the law, sin was in the world; but sin is not charged when there is no law.
(որովհետեւ մինչեւ Օրէնքին տրուիլը՝ աշխարհի մէջ մեղք կար, բայց մեղք չէր վերագրուեր՝ երբ Օրէնք չկար:
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those whose sins weren’t like Adam’s disobedience, who is a foreshadowing of him who was to come.
Սակայն մահը թագաւորեց Ադամէն մինչեւ Մովսէս, նոյնիսկ Ադամի օրինազանցութեան նման չմեղանչողներուն վրայ. ինք նախատիպն էր անոր՝ որ յետոյ պիտի գար:
15 But the free gift isn’t like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.
Բայց շնորհը յանցանքին պէս չէ. որովհետեւ եթէ մէկին յանցանքով շատեր մեռան, ա՛լ ո՜րչափ աւելի շատերուն վրայ առատացաւ Աստուծոյ շնորհքը, եւ պարգեւը՝ որ շնորհուեցաւ մէկ մարդու՝ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի միջոցով:
16 The gift is not as through one who sinned; for the judgment came by one to condemnation, but the free gift followed many trespasses to justification.
Եւ պարգեւը այնպէս չէ, ինչպէս մէկ մեղանչողին պատահածը. որովհետեւ դատաստանը մէկին մեղքով դատապարտութեան մատնեց, բայց շնորհը շատ յանցանքներէ արդարութեան առաջնորդեց:
17 For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.
Քանի որ եթէ մէկ մարդու յանցանքով՝ մահը թագաւորեց այդ մէկով, ո՜րչափ աւելի անոնք՝ որ կը ստանան շնորհքի ու արդարութեան պարգեւին առատութիւնը, կեանքի մէջ պիտի թագաւորեն միակ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի միջոցով: )
18 So then as through one trespass, all men were condemned; even so through one act of righteousness, all men were justified to life.
Ուրեմն, ինչպէս բոլոր մարդոց դատապարտութեան վճիռ տրուեցաւ մէկին յանցանքով, այնպէս ալ բոլոր մարդոց կեանք տուող արդարութիւն շնորհուեցաւ մէկին արդարութեամբ:
19 For as through the one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous.
Որովհետեւ ինչպէս շատեր մեղաւոր եղան մէկ մարդու անհնազանդութեամբ, այնպէս շատեր արդար պիտի ըլլան մէկին հնազանդութեամբ:
20 The law came in that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly,
Սակայն Օրէնքը ներս սպրդեցաւ՝ որպէսզի յանցանքը աւելնայ. բայց հոն՝ ուր մեղքը աւելցաւ, շնորհքը չափազանց առատացաւ:
21 that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
Որպէսզի՝ ինչպէս մեղքը թագաւորեց մինչեւ մահ, այնպէս ալ շնորհքը թագաւորէ արդարութեամբ՝ մինչեւ յաւիտենական կեանք, մեր Տէրոջ՝ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի միջոցով: (aiōnios g166)
